  1. Hi Tao Bums..

Hi mate I could myself relay experiences which would sound outlandish to some, I'll refrain from that. Since my first experience with acupuncture I've felt a huge amount of activity in my body and become more and more sensitive to it I guess. But immediately upon starting SFQ (beginning with "moving of yin and yang" which is up on youtube) I felt blockages open all over my body very powerfully, so I ordered the level 1 course, and have also dabbled a bit in level 2, though I'm still primarily focusing on level 1. I had recurring pain in my abdomen which was not being addressed even with strong herbal formulas and regular acupuncture. It was SFQ, specifically the "seven steps to new life" which finally relieved the strong pain. It's been a process of adjusting the exercises I practice to best suit where I'm at, they are simple movements to learn which allows you to just get straight into it. I've practiced the Small Universe meditation daily and found that powerful as well. I've only practiced with one other teacher so I'm no authority on Qigong, but I can assure you SFQ is a powerful system. I have no problem believing the "outlandish" claims I here from any Qigong students, as you'd know all this stuff has the potential to be very powerful.. regards Ant
  2. Liver qi stagnation

I have a rather sever case of this too, stemming from an injury to my abdomen (shao fu area) on the left side.. Qi has stagnated all up the left side of my body, causing a range of symptoms (and at times a lot of pain). I have a fantastic TCM doctor but this injury has been slow to heal with herbs and needles. Spring Forest qigong has helped a whole lot over the last 12 months, I've made huge ground but feel I have a way to go. I'm just about to start another 100 days of Qigong, this time I'm going to focus mainly on specific exercises for the liver. When I first began SFQ it felt like my chest was literally ripping open, qi was very constricted.. Reading this thread inspires me to train harder, I wish you guys luck in recovery.
  3. I'd love to fly over from Perth (west oz) for this.. Unsure as if I'll have the money at this point. If not I do hope to visit the US next year for a workshop or something. Unsure what you meant by the thread title though?
