Think I might try going vegetarian again for at least a month or so and see if I note less aggression

Requirement for Celibacy in Neigong Training
Songtsan replied to opendao's topic in Daoist Discussion
Karezza always worked fine with me...if the jing becomes too fierce and I start acting wacky cause I can't sublimate it, I release...just gotta play it by ear -
Unfortunately, the flip side is also true...if enough people still believe something, then it affects your world view, unless you can end mind fabrications..so, while your own belief has power, others do too...you must right the herd mentality within you before you can eat poison and transmute it
-
Don't hate yourself over it! Don't be picky about forms! The function is inherent. Food is energy. Transmute that 'lead' to gold! We can eat garbage and become immortal, if we realize that God is in all things. Your beliefs spin the matrix into good/bad forms...I'm in a Sufi mood today...back to my roots in all-seeing freedom of everything having already been done. Born pure, always pure underneath, no one is not divine. Be a child of illusion and feel the bliss that is always there behind Maya's veil...

Requirement for Celibacy in Neigong Training

I don't understand why celibacy would be required as long as you don't ejaculate or orgasm? I do this all the time, just feeling the motions, not creating sexual fantasies in my head, just concentrating on keeping the kegel/anal pump going, while paying attention to crown chakra, inhaling up the spine, using uddiyana bhanda, kechari mudra or tongue at palate behind teeth, basically sex meditation, maverick style hodgepodge, mco...why will it hold you back so much? Are you trying to skip over that part of your story? Not go where your lower ego wants to go? I am not challenging anyone's views, just trying to reformulate my philosophy and figure myself out. Is this basically fast-tracking? -
Can QiGong improve eyesight . . . or not (?)
Songtsan replied to Lataif's topic in General Discussion
Just like you can train any muscles in your body, improving afferent/efferent communications, improving fine motor control, the ability of shen to control the chi which controls the body. My answer is yes...it can and does work -
Share your recipes, cocktails, etc. here, whether it be smoothies, candied ginger, or casseroles!

Not all who are called masters are masters...some are just fakirs....have you guys ever heard me call myself a master? Nah, man....so when I do start calling myself that, I will really believe it. Now there are probably those who believe they are too, on the surface....but underneath are doubts....until I have no doubt, and none can be drawn from me, then I shall always be a student....If I get too high, then knock me down....if no one can knock me down, perhaps I might know what I am talking about -

I have always wanted to go on a 'root fast' - eating only roots and rhizomes -
...in our PPFs! divided into categories....I know its a lot of work at first, but the what are you listening thread is a bit disorganized.... example: Copy list of categories, such as: Electronica (w/subdivisions) World (w/subdivisions) etc... I will get onto it later today or tomorrow...making the master category list...then everyone else can copy/paste and fill it in....not even with links neccessarily, even just artist/track titles... then, if someone likes particular musicas styles, they can go search through others PPFs and look within the appropriate categories... this is Songtsan, in organizational mode again!

I have always feared spiders more than just about anything else....so by eating the things you fear, the poison they represent in your mind, you become transcendent.....going to make a nice Rattlesnake and Spider Soup one of these days....just need to go find me a Rattlesnake. I'm part Mohawk, which means 'Man Eater' (Mo- Eat, Hawk-Man), and we ate the flesh of our enemies, to become what we feared and beyond...

Following in the pathsteps of the masters is not the wisest course. Do not seek to follow in the footprints of the masters, seek what they sought instead... -
They dont die, they become assimilated into the Borg! Higher consciousness beings eat lower consciousness beings, inviting them to become part of the collective and go on new adventures! When your consciousness is unified, all the cells/beings in your body become one Holos-Being....

I believe in physical immortality. Energy cannot die. Matter cannot die. You can separate it all you want, down to little tiny blips, and still you can never kill it....you just make smaller and smaller copies of the main things...like ameobas....I personally, intend to divide infinitely, and create endless existence, as this is what I have chosen... -

In B.K. Frantzis' book, The Power of Internal Martial Arts, he talks about how one of his main teachers told him how he had sex like 3 hours a day, and this guy had all kinds of crazy abilities....forget that teachers name, but he could do tummo, fa jin, and other things....I dont see why if one knew the secret of 'unstuck energy,' that is, energy that does not stagnate or collect, that one couldnt enter into any fray, unattached, and still keep on moving, storing, cultivating. I think it would depend on the attitude one had towards the energy and its expression. A free flowing conduit should experience no overheating. Only when there is resistance/friction, will that happen. There are tales of Mahasiddhas with hundreds of wives.....see http://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/buddhas-dharma/vajradhara-and-84-mahasiddhas.html and so on....don't limit yourselves! Also, read about Hazrat Inayat Khan, who supposedly stopped eating food, and only smoked black cigarrettes and drank coffee.....I think that once one realizes the eternal unity of energy, and can spin it into any form, one can live off anything.....follow your desires, but don't cross the line, to quote DB, who may have been quoting someone else....What is crossing the line? Going past where you believe you should? I don't know....I have my opinions....operate within your belief systems - don't break your own rules...when you expand your own rules to allow more, keep on going.... ...also, also....it seems that belief is the zenith of what we are capable of....work within that, and work to expand your belief....we are all God, and create our own matrix.....you are a puppet on your own strings...dont let others limits, limit you, Energy Beings Energy can do anything....we Are That! We can do/be anything....doing IS being. We are, in the end our own judges, our own jury, our own executioner....it is our will and agreement with others' beliefs which hold us here. Once you stop believing, strange and wondrous things occur! The power of belief, or disbelief.....amazing schtuff God-folks! -
We all get irritated, just about every day, until we learn not to be. I've been irritated at pretty much every damn one of you here, and I know you have me! Now, is irritation the response of an enlightened being? Did the Buddha ever get irritated after he had fully 'enlightened,' or do enlightening beings become irritated from time to time no matter what? DB has claimed to have surpassed the Buddha, it seems, and I am sure others have, yet it seems that she still gets irritated. Many of the other great teachers seemed to have expressed irritation, yet were they irritated on the inside, or was it just a play? Jesus freaked out in the marketplace. Is irritation part and parcel of an enilghtening beings toolset? Or can/does one reach a place of never being irritated again? Can Nirvana include irritation? Or is it always Samsara? Wrathful deities....are they in love with righteous indignation, or do they transcend internal angst, and only outwardly express the appearance of angst, while inwardly dwelling in deep bliss?

I read of an instance once where a student went to practice push hands or something like that with a teacher and became noticeably turned on (2 guys)...the teacher quit the practice session immediately. I am sure both were embarrassed. Stuck sexual energy is a lesson for all involved. You guys/gals have seen me get lost and out of control with it here...strangely, with a post in I think it was 'irritations' thread, I think I haven't sent the energy down through the MCO yet...stuck at 2nd/3rd....

@idiotstimpy: that's it! That's where movement originates.... That's why they say move from the LDT. Why its called the willpower center. COG is center of movement... It seems... Thanks!

I think that having hard and fast rules about anything is inflexibility. I have posted on this before. Would you kill someone 'wicked' to save the life of someone 'innocent' if that was the only choice? There is always redemption. Where do you guys think Hitler ended up? Its all real confusing. I always wonder too, why if Lao Tzu knew so much, he was willing to just walk away from it all, only turning back as an afterthought when that guard asked him too. Me personally, if I find great wisdom through toil and struggle, I'm not just going to walk off into the mountains and go find peace...I'd want to leave a hell of a lot more trail markers than he did....I like what the Buddha did, and I like what Lao Tzu did in parts....I think I'd like to combine them....each to their own nature be true though, and judge not...I speak for myself mainly...I would be a cross between Hazrat Inayat Khan, Lao Tzu, Buddha, Atish, Babaji, and a few others....I think that's what I might do at some point, is to list my 'spiritual heroes' and the facets of each that I like, and seek to create a Hodge podge self based on that, constantly tweaking and updating...

I have yet to try it...I am very experienced in disassociated states through dissociative drugs like MXE and DXM...but those are not for regular use, or use by just anyone...too many issues with psychotic breaks..of which I have had more than a few while on them...

Mine comes in the hands, feet, scalp, face...its possible that its wherever your energy is excessive...I will look into what you said too..I know that I have tension there as well...also, smoothing out the shen will smooth out the qi

Cheat! Use muscle relaxants! LOL. No really, study savasana technique nightly when you go to bed. Also, get a massage before you do a float...herbs: kava kava, Valerian. Amino acids, etc: GABA, l-theanine....exercise to the point of fatigue (but not exhaustion), then get a massage, then do a float (pee beforehand)...

I must admit, I have perfectionist/ocd tendencies when it comes to categorization... Thanks for putting up with me.
