  1. Jhana in Taoism?

hmmm...I won't argue with you, but I am not in accord.
  2. Jhana in Taoism?

sorry - self-corrected myself too slow...please see my edit. I nod in your direction.
  3. Jhana in Taoism?

I have not read through this thread entirely What I believe at this moment (this is subject to change in the next moment as per usual), is that seeking Jhana states is attachment to states. Taoism trumps Buddhism in that they do not seek states...they merely see them, and, without grasping, let them go bye bye. It's very simple and enjoyable. EDIT: This was incomplete and unfair... Taoism seeks the Tao, therefore, these two are conjoined...Buddhism is step-like, whereas Taoism is something else....they both lead to great things...perhaps one could say that Buddhism is more ordered for those who like to know where they are going before they get there, and Taoism is about not knowing where you are going , but going there anyways... ...further EDIT: ...which reminds me: Taoism is like being led to the place with eyes open, not following blindly...you don't know where you will end up (consciously, that is), and so you are following and seeing directly the sights without first having had the sights described to you, so it is, in effect, more entertaining, because surprises lie around every corner...so much fun! Taoism is way more fun than Buddhism! Sorry you Buddhists, but Taoists just want to have fun!
  4. I am here

yes...I was high and undergoing some strange spiritual stuff via Kundalini-shakti....Kundalini-shakti, seeing how much I was placing Deci Belle on a pedestal, urged me to start this very thread, via a series of tricky mind games which are way too complex to go into....it was done to smash my ego down...Kundalini-shakti does not care about your or my or her petty ego constructs (when they are about that is - I am not saying that DB has them, or that you do- I only know for sure that I do) - them being illusions...sometimes people make postings on this board which are true and egoless - she is one of the most obvious...I have made a few sentences possibly, but I am not entirely sure - there will of course always e a grain of my own ego in these posts...but as time goes on it will become less and less. Even as embarrassing as this thread has been - it is a great lesson if you look into it - this is how Kundalini works - she bursts our bubbles! She pushes you into action in order to pop your ego...I now stand corrected. Thank you 3bob. It is a game of Yin Yang rising and falling. When the burst happens, egos are set straight - so beautiful! So you are correct and you are also wrong! I was correct and I was also wrong... This was bad, and this was also good - do you see the Yin and the Yang? Me saying that Deci is the one true Buddha probably didn't move her an inch (but maybe a millimeter? Who knows!) - Now, if someone said that I was the one true Buddha I would laugh at them...so I suspect that she may be laughing when she reads this Deci Belle knows what's up I think!
  5. I am here

Both...it was how I was feeling at the time! Of anyone here, she often impresses me the most frequently and deeply, although there are several others who rank around that (when I am judging that is)...remember this is all judgement. I will of course have to kill all of my judgements one day, which means I kill all Buddhas as well. But don't worry - DB will be fine, because she is Beyond-Buddha, which is where anyone who is truly realized will go!
  6. taoism enlightenment?

Shall I become your writing teacher? hmmm...?
  7. Should I kill the mice?

I only experienced this event once in my life, but it has always remained in my memory, which means that it is significant. Upon analysis, I think that I wanted to proselytize them as much as they wanted to proselytize me, so I know that I suffer from attachment to wanting to shape others in my own ways..therefore I have a God-complex, which is dirty - as everyone already are Gods. Let each choose their own path. This is non-attachment, this is wu wei.
  8. Should I kill the mice?

I have a trick for those guys, what I do is this: When they come to my door, I say: "Excuse me, I have to go sacrifice a goat to complete my ritual...it will only take a second..."
  9. taoism enlightenment?

badass...although you need to work on your grammar! pay attention to your words - to reach the pinnacle, one must persevere perfectly!
  10. Should I kill the mice?

I know! I am playing mouse games! I put stuff out and stay there real quietly to see if I can catch them...with my bare hands - oh I am a meanie! I won't hurt them though...they need to be trained to be ninja mice! Soon i will have them in line, then I can send them out on missions....maybe I will mail you a ninja mouse! then you can have your own mouse-assassin. Bet you would like that!

  15. Should I kill the mice?

Indeed I had this very same thought - but if I were to catch them and let them go outside they would probably freeze to death or die some other way. I opted for the path of neutrality in this one. I even fed them last night - some peanut butter and Sun Chips...
  16. ...except for the absolute that there are no absolutes, which protects the statement absolutely. Please be rational and logical, but you aren't absolutely required to be rational and logical. This is the perfect place to discuss how nothing can be perfect!
  17. Absolute(s).

Big bang means that stuff was always there though...stuff won't simply cease to exist...it just continuously changes - forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever....
  18. There are absolutely no absolutes...

I am doing slow MCO - so every few days I am in different chakras....it's continuous.
  19. Absolute(s).

how do you know this stuff?
  20. There are absolutely no absolutes...

indeed! This knowing is absolute! Yay for absolution! p.s. circles are absolutely round
  21. The Satanic Bible

Honestly, I think that Kundalini is the snake in the garden of Eden....she is the source of knowledge! yep....she is the teacher of the human race... Here are some interesting thing-a-ma-bobbers: Satan was cast out of Heaven because he thought he could be a better counselor of men than Yahweh....so sayeth a Christian soldier to me when I was in jail recently...I read the whole bible just recently, and also did some other studies and basically what happens is... He was thrown to the Earth to live among men... The bible speaks of spirits of air, which are able to speak to the minds of men. They are LEGION The Koran speaks of the Djinni, who are made of smokeless fire, who whisper into the minds of men...same thing basically.. ever read "Play of Consciousness" by Swami Muktananda? In it he describes how the Kundalini playfully projects images of a naked, sexually wanton Devi into Swami Ms mind... yes, Shakti and Satan are the same...but it was the Abrahamic religions which vilified the knowledge bringer... it is no coincidence that Kundalini is described as a snake coiled around the Muladhara chakra..in fact, when one desires to know the self, the snake awakes, and begins teaching by inflaming the passions of man, so that man will seek to know through various desire-driven means... It is when man stops seeking to know, which occurs when all is known to the best extent - and he realizes that not-knowing is return to innocence - that he becomes pure again. This, in line with the release of desire-driven action, culminates in the re-sleeping of the snake. This is when Satan goes back to God. This is the equivalent of Shiva-Shakti union. This also correlates with the microcosmic orbit -> snake goes up and down to sleep again. Just because the bible gives Shakti a bad name doesn't mean it is that...in fact, she is the Yin and Shiva is the Yang. She is the sought and he is the seeker. Both are really the same. When seeker finds himself in the sought, there is the union. Good/bad - not real Just suchness.
  22. Should I kill the mice?

yesterday I saw a bag of cheese packets moving on the counter, I went and picked it up and a little mousey was hanging out of it....he jumped into the stove real quick-like, underneath a pan sitting on top of the burner. S/he was so cute...We are just going to let them live here until the next people move in....which is basically like leaving them to die in the end I guess... I'm not going to kill 'em - they are just trying to be happy little guys & gals..I feel for 'em though... we used to be mice too back in the day...when the comet hit and killed all the dinos, some of the only things left were little mousey-rat like critters, which eventually became monkeys, apes and stuff down the line... those are our little cousins!
