It's not that I don't want to read the classics, btw - it's just that I am poor right now and there is so much information on here that is free. I should also state that I have extensively studied Theraveda and Mahayana Buddhism. I also have about 1000 pages of copied material from mostly BUddhist sources, but also some Taoist, Sufi, Gnostic, Vedantic, Tantric, and other sources - I have barely begun reading a smidgen of what I have on me....but I am really attracted to Taoist stuff and it is what I have the least of at this time (except for the fact that I read a lot of the material here of course)

What did meditation do to me? Please read...

It really sounds like a 'Dark Night of the Soul' type of deal. If its just due to energy imbalance, then rebalancing is the trick. If it is Kundalini, I have never heard of anyone undoing it - you can only push through it by going deeper- 127 replies

bad energy , negative attacks, what to do ?
Songtsan replied to suninmyeyes's topic in General Discussion
Oh, I probably do honestly...I have to admit that I come here for play as well as work.- for intellectual/philosophical addictions that is. Aiming to rectify that. The current and dominant theory of quantum physics states that the electrons of every atom are everywhere in the universe at once, only they have tendencies to be in more localized areas as far as field theory goes. I am a believer in holographic theory, which states that the whole is in all parts. Matter is an illusion - there is only energy and force. All things attract all things, as all things are in all things - no demarcations except for what psychological mind creates. -

it really does sound energetic in nature, although it could be due to random release of energetic blocks or due to an intelligent force such as kundalini.- 127 replies

Could be Kundalini - there is a lot of mention of Kundalini and left leg stuff, which is really to do with the area for the left leg in the pre-motor cortex. Also mention of loss of libido, anhedonia, and the muscle spasms could possibly be kriyas, or spontaneous movements... or it might not be that at all - what was the quality of the muscle spasms? Did they seem random, or almost as if someone was 'doing' them besides you?- 127 replies

I don't get that logic..anyways, I am more of a cat person - dogs irritate me with all of their barking. -
I have used a relatively new compound called 4-Aco-DMT which is also called psilacetin...it is most likely converted into psilocin in the body. It is still legal and can be purchased from within the US if you know where to look. The resemblance to psilocybe mushrooms is quite close. see: http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/4_acetoxy_dmt/4_acetoxy_dmt.shtml

I often wonder about the effects of compassion - can it cloud issues? Waste time? Also, can one be compassionate and seemingly cruel and haughty at the same time? Compassionate ruthlessness. One need not express from feelings...one can choose the way of efficiency. Even to manipulate to get the best results - or else become the manipulated. Just kicking around ideas - haven't quite worked it out yet. -
What is potential in terms of Taoist practices?
Songtsan replied to Songtsan's topic in Daoist Discussion
The cycles of yin and yang, emptiness/fullness, like a sine wave - potential (negative), then activated potential (positive), then back to potential? See spinning yin yang up above.. potential as emptiness, pouring forth/activity as fullness? I think this is exactly the same as what you are saying... so if one 'steals potential,' then does one steal emptiness? whereas fullness is karmic activity? -

Yes, there is much arrogance there - and it takes one to know one, for I am that - but I say that she owns herself quite well, with no excuses, and I find her stuff to be some of the best I have ever read - it keeps me hooked and searching as well as improves my vocabulary - for I have to constantly explore meaning. Deci Belle states that there is no person there, so if not, then who is arrogant? Perhaps its just the response to the situation that fits. In any event, the flavors are very tasty. I have to say that between her writings, JoeBlast, and TaoMeow's stuff, I am going to be studying for months. Not that other individuals don't also post good stuff - what I like is the complexity of the writings - it keeps my attention perked, because its so challenging. It calls to my natural competitiveness...whatever motivates me, I say. -

Sounds like a classic succubus encounter - there is a website out there: http://www.yourghoststories.com/ghost-stories-categories.php?category=17&page=1 which has dozens of stories like that - I spent hours reading them and I am convinced that there is a connection between djinn and succubus/incubus...

They really are good servants most of the time...you just got to make sure that you keep an eye on them, or else they get up to a whole bunch of shenanigans, tricky little devils that they are!

Beautiful! I should add that I really dig Chenrezig, Padmapani, Avalokitesvara, etc. Shiva, Krishna... Vajrasattva! so many influences... if I remember correctly, Chenrezig holds a white parasol. I have a graphic somewhere - I will try to find it and post.

So beautiful. (Thank you!❤) -
The Djinni are little sprites of Satan, made of "Smokeless Fire" - makes me think that they live in the Infrared spectrum...but I am not sure.... electromagnetics is definitely an area of interest In the bible, they talk of spirits of air. they can also create illusions in the minds of men - one can't trust ones own feelings for they can insert desires and also steal thoughts/desires/etc. from the mind once someone is infested by them, they watch that person's mind at all times, so nothing that that person thinks is secret anymore...they are like little spies.... It may be possible to tame them or enlist their aid, but I wouldn't trust this... Supposedly Solomon tamed them and made them his servants - in his architectural pursuits....I wasn't there so I don't know for certain.

The Djinn have made significant inroads in regards to their connection with my nervous system and other etheric systems...it is accurate to say that I am possessed - that is that they have subsumed me on pretty much all levels. At least I will be a good example for others on how to not become an object for the Djinni's delight - I will post a thread on this topic soon I hope. Anyone know any good exorcists? Or how to control these guys? -

Why on earth would one practice more than one system?
Songtsan replied to BaguaKicksAss's topic in General Discussion
A large part of system jumping is simply 'not feeling it,' or lack of faith in the systems one studies - one has yet to get hooked. At least this is my story. -

What is potential in terms of Taoist practices?
Songtsan replied to Songtsan's topic in Daoist Discussion
I know - I am just being incalcitrant You see, I have been reading your stuff, but I tend to be a skeptic and need to challenge others. My real problem is that I have been feeding those pesky djinn. My focusing on them and the things they can do is wasting my energy. They have been stealing my potential instead of me. Their abilities are such that I tend to trust them more than I trust humans. They are liars though - they just create tall tales and add a bit of djinn magic and I become hooked. I am going to quit the djinn world no matter what they throw in my way. The head of the djinn is of course Satan or Iblis - according to Islam. So I have been led astray by the devil. Kundalini awakening is either directly the opening of oneself to the djinn, or else the energy involved is the djinn themselves - It's possible that they can sense one who is 'open' or 'awakened' and when that occurs they glom on to those individuals so as to feed on them or invade them. So I must fight their pull, but I don't think it will be any different from the fascinations of the ten thousand things. -
What is potential in terms of Taoist practices?
Songtsan replied to Songtsan's topic in Daoist Discussion
I am now wondering if I even need to 'understand' what potential is. Really I just need a better understanding of what to do about it. Technique over knowledge of concepts. I should rephrase the topic of this thread to 'How to steal potential?' or somesuch. Understanding will be far greater in any event if I simply taste what it is through direct perception. So who can tell me how, and not what? I am finding that I am getting naturally tired of philosophizing about things...strengthening myself in the mental world of the Djinn is an addiction in and of itself. While building up a matrix of knowledge is exciting and beautiful, it is seemingly mere entertainment. Being a dilettante cannot grow me beyond a certain level. The conceptual maps I have stored are mirages. I aim to focus my time/energy on practice and being vs. wanting to be. -
What is potential in terms of Taoist practices?
Songtsan replied to Songtsan's topic in Daoist Discussion
It sure feels like going back to something you have left - like a remembrance of who you really are. So it is like you never left it, yet you have left it, by forgetting it...when awareness turns back to the source, focus leaves the 'unreal' and becomes the 'real' I don't know this for sure though. I recently have come to find that if I take the internal and exactly mirror the external - an act of superimposing the external over the internal, or vice versa, it becomes sameness. Focusing internally and externally on one reality destroys the concept of inside/outside, to make one side Then there is no going back, because there is no back or forward, just isness. What do you guys think?
