  1. if you could...

Well, I found a good online college that costs maybe $2500 per quarter with books and fees included. I can borrow up to $20,500 a year so all extra will be for living expenses, and I will still work part time. But I am also thinking of going to a third world country like Nepal, then I could invest the extra money. Its a real low interest rate - like 4.25% or something....
  2. if you could...

Yeah, I remember it as such. Lived there for a short spell in 2004 near Diamond Head. I wish I had stayed longer.
  3. if you could...

Ah...Hawaii! I've been considering this honestly...I'm going to do online college for a few years, so I can probably live just about anywhere

  5. if you could...

I like that one as well. Also looking at springforest....
  6. Sincere call for Help

Also, pour a line of sea salt around your bed, sage/smudge.sweetgrass the room often. Also, its been heard that Reiki attunements can open the practitioner to issues when the one doing the attunement already had pre-existing issues such as possession, etc. This maybe happened to me (long story). This could also be an incubus/succubus experience. Never give in or surrender to them, they will turn from violent to seductive, create pleasurable sensations in you, make you think that they are your friends, and sink deeper into you. Stay in protective mode.
  7. NCA trying to kill me

So, is there an aerator (little filter-like screen) where the tap water comes out? A pill could not make it past this. Also, if the water was blue why did you drink it? What shape was the pill? Was it a compressed powder, or did it have a coating that looked kind of plastic like? I dont think it could have been gel. Besides, if it is some shadow government or mafia thing, they might not even be using anything on the market. A one time exposure to a prescription med couldnt cause something like you described, medically speaking.
  8. Ice on injuries = nono

Well, it was when people were fished from water in the winter time. They were brought back to life up to an hour after stopping breathing, such as here: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/brought-back-from-the-dead/ Now your OP referred to acute injuries, not death, so its still a different ball game. My guess is that nothing is good all the time, and everything is good some of the time
  9. Tripped balls on Reishi tea last night

Interesting! Will have to check it out. I see it on Amazon for $29.95 a pound. Anyone think that their source is a better buy?
  10. The Effects of Psychedelics on Cultivation

I've done HBWR seeds before - felt like being close to death - there is however a way to extract the active hallucinogenic compounds, while avoiding the toxins. If you are a real kitchen chemist, you can do all kinds of solvent extractions with morning glory and HBWR and make some 'almost LSD' like stuff which is pleasant enough. Also mescalin extractions with San Pedro cactus might be worth trying....
  11. Super enzyme Serrapeptase and Lower dantian

I have no idea if it did anything for me or not, LOL. Will have to try it again someday. I'd be interested in trying direct introduction of various elements via DMSO topical application. Something to look into.
  12. Ice on injuries = nono

It seems that ice/heat combinations might still be useful after acute phase of injury - vasoconstriction/vasodilation would push out old blood and bring in new. Question would be timing and ratio. There have been instances of the cold saving someone from dying too - such as drowning victims being resuscitated at close to an hour after 'death,' so this might be applicable for certain specific instances which require a slowdown of body processes. There is also talk of how inflammation responses, while protective, also cause cell damage at the same time...interesting topic. Can't wait to hear about more studies.
  13. Black holes are Gods

See if you can figure out why I believe this! \
  14. Please help

Did you make sure the house doesn't have a small gas-leak? Is it the house or the room? Try sleeping in other rooms in the same house? If its the whole house, have you looked into the air filtration system? Are there pets of any kind? I mention gas leaks, because a small gas leak can cause things like seizures, memory loss, headaches, increases in allergic responses, depression, fatigue, and more, if it has been ongoing.
  15. sincerity and the garden of the mind

You planted seeds of acceptance, except for the weeds.
  16. Not damaging the body

In the end its just an opinion. To strictly follow the rule would mean you would live a life of utter perfectionism: never staying up late to hang with friends, never dancing the night away, never eating desert (unless it is one of those low sugar, etc. healthy deserts), and so forth. Even moderately intense resistance training damages the body (but of course it adjusts). Growth often happens through damaging the body. I don't know how one could ever attain a high level of martial art ability without some intense sparring practice. Most jobs involve some sort of repetitive stress on the body. Tattoos and piercings heal soon enough. Can't see how they are a big deal...on the whole I agree with not damaging the body, but there has to be some wriggle room for living. The body will be dying eventually anyways, and you can't live in a protective bubble your whole life.
  17. Desire Body

http://rosicrucian.com/pdf_plaza/The%20Desire%20Body.pdf I am just entering study of this, along with other things...can't say I have even read it yet, but I will, but I was led to it by spirit guides.. From my own story, I find I have formed a Desire Body, and that this body taketh me away from normal reality, which is why I have oft been diagnosed with a type of dissociative personality disorder. The root cause is addiction or attachment to flesh forms, namely, that from a young age I wished I was born female. In putting all my spiritual/emotional energy in this, I have sucked the life out of my real world body to a great extent, which is why I feel almost 'ghost like.' My spirit friends have been showing me how I self willed my form into a sort of submissive, effeminate one, which desires to be led. I have seen that this has blocked me from achieving actualization in the material plane. I am contemplating making an informed decision to radically alter my desire body to fit my actuality as it is. This is how I will be able to manifest here and now, and not be half trapped on some immaterial plane. Just posting this to see if I can get some commentary or affirmation that this could be a problem. It seems like it to me, but I'd like to have group mind opinion.
  18. How to control sexual impulse?

Note sexual impulses with equanimity, but don't feed into them. There is the noting of mind objects, and then they are gone, and then there is the reifying of mind objects, which is desire based and cyclical. This creates a positive feedback loop, wherein the attention is drawn back to the sexual mind objects again and again, and fascination increases, strengthening the tendency. The noting process does not involve a 'shying away,' or negative attachment process. It sees what passes, but does not insert any more energy consciously or willingly, neither does it try to defend or draw back. The subtle subconscious stirrings, wherein you apparently have no control over the fascination, indicate the amount of awakening you have to do. 'Neither taking nor giving,' remain in the center of the storm, in non-doing.

  20. What are you listening to?

they remind me of Thievery Corporation a little....
  21. Lower back pain resource.

Dont know if its been mentioned, but things like Yamuna Body Rolling, or using tennis balls, or other types of balls or doodads such as theracanes, etc. have been very helpful in treating my LBP. Also, directly targeting and strengthening lower abs is important, as, when they are in a weakened condition, they directly affect quadratus lumborum, and erector spinae groups, lower traps, and miscellaneous small muscles such as multifidus and whatnot. Take a look at pelvic tilt, and have hamstring/quadriceps strength and flexibility assessed. Many things effect lower back, including quality of foot wear. Determine if any significant leg-length discrepancy exists, and try to walk softly, like a cat. All day long heel pounding equates with hammer strikes sending vibrations up the skeletal chains. Never standing with locked knees for long, and use of ice/heat/ice (contrast therapy) should be integrated.
  22. I always thought that a few 1.75" ball bearings would make good weapons. Thrown at short or moderate distance, with practice, could really hurt. http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/BearingBalls/Kit8610
