An interesting concept that a Yoga-teacher friend told me about is that of '5-pointed Star' In Yoga, extend each limb and the head outwards - send the energy outwards...this is the five points. This helps to make all poses perfect. No matter what the pose, extend force through arms/hands, through legs/feet, and through the head. Stretch the spine, stretch the limbs outward. This may be very applicable in all types of movements...create space between joints, lengthen the vertebrae, root feet into ground. If sitting, reach top of head toward sky, reach arms down towards ground, root feet in ground. Same for standing. Same for lying - stretch five points to end of universe. See what you think.

I keep hearing about KAP a lot, what is it?

There is this guy who's name is Chrism I think who has a pretty good site...he discusses things such as possession, spirits, channeling, etc. much as I do - so my theories aren't all that off the beaten path as I say....really they are in alignment with a lot of the more established Kundalini sites. I am just a little bit, but still significantly off the norm in some ways. I guess what I am getting at is that I have the know-how, the interest, etc. to write such a guide as was suggested, should it be needed. Obviously if someone wanted to judge my suitability, such judges should go read everything I have written on Kundalini and think about it. Of course if I wrote such a thing, I would make sure not to insert attempts at humor or my bizarre untested theories as often as I do. I could stick with the stuff that is more universally accepted is what I am saying. There is no way I could write such an article without at least some of my beliefs coming through however. I cannot be a parrot. I also am a fan of people getting medical opinion before assuming anything, and have in the past suggested that people who thought they were having a Kundalini phenomenon might be better off seeing a professional. It would be best to have disclaimers throughout the article, etc. I am not volunteering to be some sort of moderator however, as I am too unstable for such a job, although I am on here enough to do such a job. I have enough experience with health as to be a fairly efficient purveyor of health advice, given my extensive professional history in the health field, as well as my own personal and long-standing experience of the western psychiatric industry. I have also interacted with some of the members of the national Spiritual Emergency Network, and found that some of them were lacking in experience in this regard. Sometimes a bunch of letters after ones name cannot equal the breadth of experience of one who has actually been down that road. In addition, many of these members haven't had the intrinsic motivation to do as much research as I have into this phenomenon, as they were not personally affected by it. I think it would be good to have someone that is not simply a carbon copy of the standard norm to be in charge of collating and presenting the material for Kundalini on this site (if that's what will happen). People who are researching it should have some options. Also, anything that I write would of course be open for criticism and refinement by all the minds of this site, which are significant. I think this could be a group project and be very successful at that. I volunteer my time/skills/experience to produce the bulk copy of the syllabus, and group consensus could 'perfect' the rough draft into a nice final copy.

Now that I am enlightened, I wish to elucidate the way things are: Everything you see is us. We are all this liquid-like blue energon matrix of reality. The force of electrons is what keeps things from touching. There are no spirits among us, as we are all spirit animals! What this means is that we each make our own masks! Because we make these masks, we create paradise in our minds by creating hells. Before we do this, we love ourselves blissfully. After this we can contemplate our geniuses at later times. Bottom line is - stop seeing everything as "real" stuff, instead see all life as energy matrices. Everything is made from energy and force, don't think that its made from wood, plastic, metal, or fabric - it's all made of energy - see it as light, see it as energy - see it as a sea of bliss. You are surrounded by power. You live in power. You are made of power. You are this energy. Everything is made up of the same glue. Blue glue! Energy glue. Know that all the stuff you touch is simply energy in all its forms. Space is filled with light energy. Force/bliss/light/stuff = matter. Don't forget this as you lie down on your energy couch or energy bed...it's all made up of ghost particles. It flows like liquid, so slow that you can't see it. You think you are a body, but you are not! You are a mere energy toy of the matrix. Remember to see the energy in everything. Spinning, zipping, flashing, exploding in various colors. You are only what you are. When you put your mind out in the couch, and realize that this is your mind-couch, you simply see a sea of ecstasy.

What you say makes great sense, and helps me with a mini-puzzle that i was considering. What I was thinking was how energy gets frozen, so that it doesn't meld with the other parts. Objects can rest on eachother and slide off, be separated by gravity or other forces. However, if one were to melt such objects all together, eventually the energy would all merge again as one. This is awesome that you posted this merely hours after I was wondering about that. Thanks!

The vagus nerve is not the sushumna/central channel
Songtsan replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in General Discussion
I agree with that tentatively. I also think that there is value in the older systems, and have experienced that value directly. In fact, I think it is wonderful that they discussed such things as Ida/Pingala long before they knew that the right side of the brain controlled the left side of the body and vice/versa. The right side of the brain is of course often associated with the feminine side, and left with male. As Ida is lunar/female/left-side of body, thus being controlled by the right side of the brain - this fits perfectly with the model from both the western and eastern views. My discussion isn't so much that the views conflict, but that the views are mutually supportive. In fact, one day we will likely find that all the sciences, whether yogic, or empirical, all converge on a view of the truth that is by far stronger than any of the individual explanations. I seek such a convergence, which is what I am exploring in my discussion. I neither seek to deny or affirm belief systems, only to unite them. One often sees Ida/Pingala illustrated as a wavy sinuous line. I think this is merely symbolic, and that in fact Ida/Pingala is really represented by the majority of the nerve tracks of either side...as the picture below shows, these major nerve branches repetitively stem from the sushumna in regular intervals. Notice that at the bottom, although the spinal cord ends, it doesn't really - there is a smaller branch, which I believe is the cauda equina (Latin for 'Horse's Tail'), which keeps on going, and in fact connects with all of the above places you mentioned. Connecting in a continuous loop all the way through to the vagus nerve and beyond - completing the circuit for front/back - making up the circle that the MCO travels along.- 30 replies

I could volunteer for that, but my experience runs out of the norm, involving some off the beaten path ideas surrounding everything from spirit guides, channeling, etc. to alien contacts and conspiracy theories. I wrote a fairly long but disorganized post in a thread a while ago about Kundalini which I could adapt to make such an article, but again its different than the standard. I have been researching and experiencing this phenomenon for almost 20 years.

Can someone show me the Chinese translation for my name?
Songtsan replied to Songtsan's topic in 道家学说
I would love to learn Chinese someday - sounds intense though...not necessarily to write it, just to speak it - such a beautiful language. -
In my left arm/hand. I type too much...its from typing all the time...Yeah I have Dragon - but often I am lazy and go with the easier, more habitual route. Wah!

Why would that be? Personally, I think this site is one of the best sites on the net for Kundalini folk to come to. I have been to more than a few...this site is just far more approachable.

However, they say that everything on the etheric and higher planes has a physical correlate, whether its yogic philosophy or otherwise. As above, so below.- 30 replies

Actually I was on MXE when I had this (last night) - that doesn't devalue the perception attainment. Whether its on or off drugs, a perception is a perception. I place not so much extra value on naturally based perception attainments, although I do place more than a little. I am continuing my practice of this perception even now. It is a visualization meditation paired with insight, mixed with shambavi mudra. It was a really good one and although off the MXE its far weaker, the essence of it is still pure. No glowing orbs btw..

Does your name mean anything? That would probably be the key to translating it... -

That's what I've been doing - entering them, allowing them to possess me, but it doesn't cure them. I apply logic, rationalism, everything. The thing is some of them are rationally based, so that's why they are hard to get rid of.

It is one thing to mentally know that everything is energy, but another to realize without thinking that everything is all the same energy. It helps to visualize everything as one color/substance - I was using the electric blue color and overlaying it on everything, including myself, and including no boundaries. The liquid part was to suggest that there was a further seamlessness to everything - like the ocean. We view water as 'one' water...not bazillions of tiny water molecules. Matter is the exact same sea of energy. Seeing demarcations leads to a demarcated mind state, hence dualism. This was a perception attainment I had last night, and it has some 'afterdrag' which I will continue to express in my perceptive realm and work to reinforce. No I am not enlightened...that's why I put the there! lol.

So, if I write it, do I write it this way: 松赞 瘋狐 虎啊 里 or this way?: 松赞 瘋狐 虎 啊里 or do both work? I have almost no knowledge of this stuff? -
I was doing intense process work: Consider it a mini-Dark night of the Soul, perfectly orchestrated by the master orchestrator Kundalini in combination with an entheogen. Beautiful story - still didn't clear my doubt out fully though.. My doubts/paranoias/conspiracy theories: -aliens in an inter-dimensional plane are secretly farming us for our bioenergy, sort of like in the movie, 'The Matrix' -Spiritual parasites doing much the same thing -FBI/CIA mind control stuff MK-ultra, etc. -Insanity -I am in a computer game These delusional beliefs still exist in me, trying to get rid of them. Kundalini helps me by making them extremely real so that I realize things I need to know should that be the case. Bottom line is: Do the best you can do for yourself, etc. EDIT: Regardless of the craziness of my posts, there are very important issues that anyone with Kundalini will have to deal with in some way or other as they go through their process. I know I said this up above, but I am re-stating it. List your worries, examine them, figure out the common way you would deal with them (it), and you will find that the answer lies simply in remembering that if you simply try your best to make things better, things will be good. Good - better - best, but backwards!
