Oh hell yes! People with no drive or ambition just aren't nearly as attractive. Also who doesn't like someone who has mastered their particular passion? Yes! And I think this is what everyone should do in life regardless. We are only talking about getting the first few dates I think, so perhaps not yet... I had very similar when I started Bagua. Lasted 4 hours, then onto the next morning. Fortunately not as much of a "hangover" as you though. Rooting. Walk around all day with roots growing out of your feet and focus 100% on that... works. Crap, that's half an hour of practice now as per my 15 mins of practice for every TTBs post rule...

Thank you thelerner . Sometimes as mod (when I was) you get a lot of hate mail lol, so glad there is appreciation shown as well. Re NAJA, well I don't see online people as any different than in person people, so to make someone's holidays suck all that much less was worth it. (fortunately the universe doesn't approve such projects for me monthly or anything though lol). I think there are some Steward positions open if you are so inclined <grin>. Well off to do 15 mins of practice now... (as per my 15 mins of practice for every post on TTBs rule).

I did half an hour, so I get a free post . Anyone want to join me in this challenge?! Doesn't have to be Bagua, obviously. Could be qigong, meditation, whatever your practice is (and some of my 15 mins will be just those instead of Bagua, as I need to get them in too).

I've had a bit of a different experience than you... I have practiced magic ever since I was 19, and started dating people who also practiced since that time. Though a few non-practitioners as well, the non-practitioners really didn't last that long... no strong psychic connection, no dual cultivation practices, and the fact that the majority of my waking hours are taken up by my practice (even my job is such). Though all in all it is about whether there is a connection there or not... it just didn't go as well otherwise, no matter how much in common, how amazing of a person they were and so forth. A fried of mine pretty much gave up her practice after getting into a long term relationship awhile back, since it wasn't really conducive to practice at his house, and they spend most of their time there. Definitely not an option for myself.. Edit: when I dated a kungfu instructor, I was too newb for him to not get bored duing sparring <pout> lolol. Hey you will definitely learn a lot!

Hmmmm, good point . Actually I would say I see the whole act uninterested thing as just games and BS, I prefer straightforwardness in people myself (on both sides, both genders).

Inviting a chick over to do repairs on your house? What a charmer! I think him and I both say it because, most of the population are.... well not cultivators who dedicate their life to the practice, above all else. It's purely a numbers thing.

I have found it to work, even when the day wasn't planned as well as it could have been... lol Always a good reason to kick up the practice... that's one area where I like to find any excuse to do so heh.
