Maybe keep in mind with the joking that it is still a path, and we'd likely all get pissed if the jokes derided our own personal paths. That line between fun joking and going over the line... just my thoughts as a thread like this could easily go there.

Which thread was it? Links please, we really can't do anything without links. Also you can use the report feature to report any threads not MoPai, John Chang or More_Pie_Guy related. If they are really and truly not MP, JC or MPG related and never have a chance of being so, I can hide the threads and wait for the mods to sort if out...

As far as heat goes, Zhang Zhuan gets me from a down jacket down to a tshirt in a few minutes in below freezing weather... is there any relation to tummo with this at all? I practice ZZ with natural breathing btw. I discovered this accidentally having to wait for buses in the snow . -

I had someone offer to trade me a keris once, for many years of teaching, apparently those things are pretty expensive! (guy wasn't meant to be taught so I didn't go for it) Same general area, but this is more the type I prefer That song above may have gone better with this image.... -

when a post vanishes, try cntrl z that sometimes works if you deleted it accidentally. Also other times the back button in your browser works.

When I was at the youth hostel in Monterey I met an Egyptian lady there. She had an oud with her, and played some traditional Egyptian songs. Then later on a lady from Japan sang some traditional Japanese songs. Then they got together for a few songs, it was pretty neat. Trying to find the oud playing vid I took of one of the Egyptian songs. -

Yes definitely get a teacher, it is sort of dangerous not to if you are experiencing this much IMO. Nah you're fine, people talk pretty openly around here. Also finding a teacher with about 100x the skill, power and etc. as oneself is VERY good for the training . -
