Hmmmm, eating, sleeping, sex, bathing, (not necessarily in that order), the internet, working, writing, painting, magic, friends, loving, talking, martial arts, hiking, exercising??? Not saying I necessarily disagree, just wondering how expansive you are going with this . I sorta kinda like my distractions personally. I nearly forgot! Was at a local chinese restaurant on my birthday. One of the sorts where they don't speak a word of english. Fortunately my chinese friend was with me. There were a few words in english here and there including "snake soup". So I just had to get that! It was pretty yummy. My friend didn't know what sort of snake they use, or at least not the english word for it. Dawei, where do you live?! lol

Placebo works on rats and dogs (can't find the quote now, forgot which other animal) that is awesome! I did not know that. One of my fave methods for testing something is to do it on someone unknowingly. Though getting their permission first then waiting long enough they forget about it is probably a bit more ethical .

Dawei, checkout my travel thread on here and post some stuff will ya? You either live somewhere very interesting (at least food wise) or have traveled to such places. Btw, congrats you have actually listed foods I would be very squirmish about trying, slugs... too many memories of waking up next to one while camping LOL.

If you are only finding 20% off sales, you aren't looking very hard . Though not sure why anyone would go shopping in person with those crowds when you can shop online. I've never been to a black friday sale (live in Canada, and our boxing week sales aren't that bad) but I have heard!!!

I get grumpy when my cultivation hits a bump and I'm working through something. I'm not male though . Also I have noticed that folks who practice a LOT, (including myself) tend to project their emotions much more strongly than intended. I have been on the accidentally sending, as well as the receiving end of this. What we perceive as slightly annoyed tends to energetically come across as angry sometimes. I find that keeping my thoughts and energy neutral when communicating with people helps this a lot.
