  1. Nei Gung - Any Good (Practical) Books?

You have a teacher . Definitely talk with him/her about such things and ask for their recommendations. At the very least any book recommended would mesh well with what you are already practicing. There is also a chance that you are already being taught niegong stuff (sometimes teachers will just throw a few bits in, but not specify it is neigong), or could be by your same teacher. Or perhaps they know someone local who does...
  2. Yin? (yang?)

Oh now with phone, skype and chat, there is NO distance, from what I have found. Actually in some cases (which still confuses me a little) it can be stronger than in person. I figure by now, going off topic is fiiiine in this thread lololol.
  3. Yin? (yang?)

I haven't seen much in the energetic realm / doing of things which cannot be done over distance . There are some things which do work much better in person (and I wasn't even thinking of the above example lol), but most work pretty well no matter how far away. It is interesting though when distance, depending how far does actually make an incremental difference. As far as it naturally happening if both people are open to it, and have either the natural talent OR some level of psychic or water training , sure! Though I'd never seen/felt it going in MCO loops before I knew what that was though; I could have perhaps just missed it, focusing more in the taiji pole of each person and the merged energy as a whole.
  4. Yin? (yang?)

There's a lovely split version of this thread in the pit for that sort of thing .
  5. Yin? (yang?)

Here's how I see this thread... I've worked with energetics for a few decades, and even taught it for most of that time. So seen a LOT of variation, and odd stuff. However, I never thought of anything in the perspective of yin and yang before, or how exactly they interplay with each other. The Chinese and Taoists have this down to a very awesome science (from my readings in JAJ's books so far anyways). Also just stuff I have seen mentioned around the forums and learning some medical qigong and Bagua . So I noticed that More Pie Guy definitely has got something to his practice and his energy. A bit of talking with him, looking at his replies to my questions, and a bit of you can just feel that stuff. However, my experiences with what I think were yin energy differ from what he's been talking about... so I got curious. I personally feel he's definitely got something going on with what he speaks of and does...... soooo I just decided to think OK so maybe they are different fields or frequencies of yin energy. Or perhaps it is just a different way of looking at it, or perhaps it is an entirely different energy entirely. I just decided to move on from worrying about whether he was using the exact right term or not, but just learn from the information that everyone was presenting in this thread. I do that as well when people are debating over various chinese terms. I don't feel is reasonable (for me anyways) to throw out some perfectly good information because someone's use of one word differs from mine, or even from hoards of other peoples. I have found that on TTBs, one thing that leads into the most debates is over a use of terms. I even ran into that myself with the word "demon". So I figure don't throw out the baby with the bathwater, and just enjoy the good parts and skip over the rest. Perhaps I should retitle this thread to "shades of Yin" or something . Anyways, this is what gets me through many threads on this forum actually, I just go with it and pick out the gems. In case anyone is wondering how I survive in MoPai threads! Not that anyone can't disagree of course, just more saying that I think a lot of good info is missed due to things like this. And MPG, I'd say just ignore the whole earth is flat crowd (only using this analogy from MPG's perspective) a bit more .
  6. Lama Lar Short

http://www.lamalar.com/ I have heard some EXTREMELY good things about him from someone who learns from him . I do not know the specific path though (darn memory).
  7. Holy Guardian Angel

That would be interesting, and fun, if TTBs members did get around the glob to visit one another .
  8. Nei Gung - Any Good (Practical) Books?

Jerry Alan Johnson has an awesome Neigong book . However.... Like mentioned above, an in person teacher is so very important. Sure some do the practices without one, but I'll use my jewelry making experience as an analogy. I have learned more in 16 hours of classroom time than I had in 5 years of doing it on my own via books and vids. Now imagine private teaching!! Having corrections given by someone who's been at it a few decades is also very important.
  9. contributed articles idea-open for discussion

Yeah that's a concern the self promoters and spammers would take this new opportunity... but hopefully not . I think another concern was what exactly constitutes "content" or "an article". Does one sentence count? Does a thread with nothing but a bunch of videos count? Stuff like that. Regardless, I'm looking forward to the Egyptian magic section, anytime you want to start!!! :)
  10. Some awesome tendon stuff for Bagua, qigong and etc.

There are many components which are in many styles of Bagua; if you ask the questions, it is possible folks from other similar styles might be able to chime in as well.
  11. contributed articles idea-open for discussion

I'm definitely going to go read your PFF now! One possible problem I see with the format you are suggesting is that then I could go and use the forum's google ranking to promote my awesome Bagua school, over and over, and it could get awfully spammy around here with all that SEO stuff I'd be sure to add in. Then if you get 10 schools doing it... Also the whole who gets to be included and who does not? What is considered "good" and what is not (to be fair I think we would have to stay unbiased with that)...
  12. contributed articles idea-open for discussion

That is not possible with the forum software. Either, there would have to be one CA section for every member who wrote one. OR 50 mods for the CA section and hope no one cheats and posts in another one or whatever. PS PFFs rock for articles, it would be awesome if more members would use them for this.
  13. Holy Guardian Angel

Actually you got the wrong impression, I don't hate you at all. Any TTBs debating was just that, a difference of opinion. (anything else was just simple annoyance due to policy stuff). I'll go with medium sugar though, thank you .
  14. Holy Guardian Angel

All of our points are invalid, Isimiz can out coffee us all! Ever had real Turkish coffee?
  15. Holy Guardian Angel

Actually Crowley was quite the white lighter. He said one should never perform any magic which was not part of their true will.
  16. how to love someone unconditionally ?

Step 1. Love yourself unconditionally first. The rest will follow.
  17. Yin? (yang?)

I have met a few (long since dead), who are still conscious past death. Perhaps either they used another method, or perhaps they were able to save some other part of themselves in some way? Maybe this is the goal of some of those old necromantic rites...
  18. Yin? (yang?)

So like during sword practice? Hmmm, or during martial arts sparring for that 2nd part? Orrrr, *looks at cultivation thread...* ?
  19. Yin? (yang?)

We were talking a bit about grounding wires, copper wires, electricity and so forth, then physics. Along a slightly related note, has anyone else worked with orgone energy and/or radionics? The principals seem quite similar o me.
  20. possible to be 'released' from a thread?

No, unfortunately that is not possible with this forum software.
  21. Holy Guardian Angel

I find the higher self and HGA to be quite different, but things which are difficult to put into words. Well for example higher self is part of me, HGA is separate from me.. but with me for life, and perhaps several lifetimes. Yes there is the uniting during the Abramelin working, however still quite a bit different than the higher self I find.

  23. flo's resignation

I'm tech again. At least for a time. I'll miss you Flo, you are awesome, and did an extremely good job. Also I am honestly amazed at how well and quickly you learned the tech stuff, without previous experience. Many kudos.
  24. Yin? (yang?)

Who wouldn't want to go try practicing some qigong or neigong on the moon? :>
