  1. Yin? (yang?)

Some days, tacos are more important than immortality. Catch y'all later .
  2. Yin? (yang?)

It does some rather amazing stuff to oceans . Though, no idea how yin related this is... So that is just yin, not a combination at all? And the qi balls that we make (some of us anyways) are those yin, or? I've never looked into it that closely. That makes perfect sense. Makes me wonder which is deficient in really ill people, or just when someone gets the flu. Your average mundane person ghost yes. However I mean a practitioner who practices daily their entire lives (or someone with just a really strong will and a lot of umph), with a strong mind. I have seen some interesting things. Well OK or a high level MoPai person, but perhaps not 72 yet. Also, some of us (probably including you) can lucid dream . I wonder if there are other ways to go about it? Still only talking in a handful, or perhaps 2 though. *additional note sent via pm The testing of science is important. And yes, very much far behind still. There are some people (the government for example) who I would prefer not to become literal gods....
  3. Yin? (yang?)

Well until NASA takes my project more seriously... .
  4. Yin? (yang?)

I noticed that the past couple of times I did MP level 1 meditation . I figured there's gotta be some "close enough" thing going on there. Could sit on a bumpy mountain I guess...
  5. Yin? (yang?)

Low tech budget version, vs high tech version .
  6. Yin? (yang?)

    I'm going to make 100 BKA's!
  7. Yin? (yang?)

This makes me think of the drawing in the sun and the moon (separately of course) qigong stuff I have done.
  8. Yin? (yang?)

Fucking magnets, how do they work? Do we absorb any from the moon? Anything that blocks or helps this? How does this work? And are you saying with with the MP level 1 stuff, it pushes out some yang? Hypothetically (since it would not be physically possible), if one were to practice all day everyday and overdo the yin energy, would they just keel over and die? Or can even just a spark of Yang energy keep us going? Also, how come ghosts can't do this backwards to regain life? I mean deads who cultivated their entire lives and know how to do this stuff and are good at it and take their consciousness with them. This.... has just got to be useful in martial arts in some way or another! I'm sort of amazed at how much you have said in this thread lines up with some of the previous teachings I have had. Perhaps physics isn't quite where to look.... or perhaps the deeper physics. I have met some physicists who when talking about perfectly provable odd things that happen in their field, sound like some qigong person or magician or whatever. However I unfortunately can't quite keep up with them as it is much over my head.... What is found in the textbooks is kindergarten level it seems.
  9. Yin? (yang?)

I think mass and the space things take up are only a concept of our mind, and not necessarily the same beyond this. This is what I have gathered from meditations and such anyways, and readings about space and time being an illusion. Well or it's really condensed a LOT. Or as some say one molecule (or cel) is a mirror for the entire body, mind and spirit.
  10. Grain free diet suggestions?

I've been slacking lately, been eating lots of grains. Not my fault they have now come out with yummy gluten free, everything! Seriously though, I have always felt the best, had the most energy, and could run half marathons just fine, whenever I stuck with the grain free diet 5-7 days per week. I need some suggestions though please, I'm running out of ideas. I have found the raw food stuff can work quite well, as it is all grain free. I can't eat coconut or banana though. However they do some pretty amazing things with raw cashews for example. Also I do eat meat, and cooked veggies. I'm not entirely sure if beans of various sorts are allowed on the grain free diet, however I figure they are allowed on MY grain free diet. I also do eat potatoes, which most folks seem to view as horribly unhealthy for some really odd reason (they must put butter on them or something). I do try to avoid dairy though. On the otherhand, I really don't wish to spend all day cooking either, or at least not everyday. Btw, that cauliflower crust pizza in that cooking thread looks really good . Any suggestions would be awesome. Perhaps I'm just being uncreative lately.
  11. Yin? (yang?)

joeblast, as I understand it, the whole "mopai yin qi" thing started from that long yin/yang discussion... and someone in the thread realized that what MPG was talking about was likely a bit different than what some others were referring to as yin qi. So for clarity (and to come to some agreement and move on) the term was sort of adapted.
  12. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

When I look at how much I still have to learn, I think this might be a good way to get it all in! An infinity of spiritual practice, meditation, learning, growing, hell yeah. Your harem could multitask and post on TTBs as well... Actually I think they would have to since from what I understand about the 72 hour thing and MP... lololol. "Magnets, how do they work?" Off grid, actually I guess I have done that twice now, for about a year each time, also some bonus forest surrounding me was involved. Very memorable times. No light pollution at all, seeing millions of stars, and the moon being bright enough to read under, but pitch black forest around. Very enjoyable. Each time, it was just that the situation changed for various reasons and I moved to somewhere else. Now to get all fancy with it and do the geothermal heat thing, solar panels properly setup, and so forth would be even more awesome. On a side note thank you MPG for reminding me of certain dreams. And thank you Nungali for making sure I didn't just forget about them the next day.
  13. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

If we play some martial arts, I'm sure we could help each other with the whole flying thing lolol. Speaking of which, the first time I experienced being thrown quite a distance... was definitely interesting! LOL Fortunately I bounced instead of broke .
  14. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

The dreamtime is where many of the dreams of this sort originate from I think. The good ones anyways.
  15. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

You put into words so well what happens with each of us . Something I had not found words for....
  16. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

Not as many trees surrounding an apartment in a city, so more enjoyable on an island . I find that I enjoy different things at different times in my life, and find them useful for what I'm doing. For example seriously perusing martial arts and learning jewelry making at a higher level, go very well with being in the city currently. However leading retreats for other people goes better with the island thing. (of course if the island were not to come to be, no problem there are other good locations with many trees and much water). In general though, folks tend to live where they most enjoy. Also with the island, it's a very short paddle over to the larger island if for some odd reason I need to grab a cappuccino (I don't drink coffee was a joke). I have found that things seem to change less when I get bored of them, but more when opportunities arise. Some more interesting than others of course.
  17. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

I personally prefer loving where I am now, but also having dreams of where else I want to go or what else I want to try while I'm here . Though tbh, my dreams are more HGA (higher source) directed if I stfu and listen :>.
  18. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

I love this feeling . In awe is a good way to describe it sometimes. Universe surprises, hell yeah . A nice side affect of magical practice I feel. Martial arts is an awesome dream, that we are still dreaming . I am usually content, and when I'm not it's just me being whiny for a bit lololol. Retired as in don't work a regular job for someone else, got it . Personal practice forum her on TTBs! Where I write all the fun stuff heh: http://thetaobums.com/forum/246-baguakicksass/ Quite a few members have one. I'd say to ask King Solomon about that one...
  19. Grain free diet suggestions?

Oh baking them would be a really good idea, thank you . Yes I love falafel! With tziki sauce of course. It also reminds me of some other amazing cooking I had while I was in Egypt.
  20. The Power of "Ignore"

I had to unhide this post to see it.. JOKING!
  21. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

With the island, like so many other things which appear to take winning a lotter to obtain, I have found that sometimes they come about in other ways, which is always pretty awesome . On that note, I feel really bad for my friends who keep buying lottery tickets who honestly feel it is a realistic way out of their present job/situation . I do not feel that flying without machinery is unrealistic. If one wants to spend a lifetime on certain practices, I see no reason why this would not be possible. OK perhaps not daily or whatever, but once in a blue moon...
  22. Sufism and QiGong . . .

From what I have found/experienced the various medical qigong systems address emotions, blockages and so forth extremely well, and it is a major part of the practice. Hard to get qi to flow if stuff is in the way .
  23. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

    .
  24. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

I guess it is only fair that I post mine . I didn't want to do it in the first post, or the thread would be more about BKA's dreams than other people sharing.... Basically I did a vision quest about 12 years ago, and was told my life purpose. Then I performed the Abramelin operation and united with my HGA, and was REMINDED (lol!) of my life purpose, and also given a lot more detail. I have always tried to work towards this. My HGA likes to kick my but in that direction when I slack. I always have to be careful to balance the wanting the dreams expressed through my true will, versus getting too wuwei and doing nothing (I can fall into that if not careful) and no moving forward. I did ask the powers that be for a vacation one year, and I did get a year off of continual growth, advancement, improvement and etc. It was actually kind of nice . Basically for dreams, my spiritual/magical path is, and has always been my number 1 priority. For example I tend to rent 2 bedroom apartments so I have a practice room. Or just figure it out another way if I don't have the extra spac. It has always been giving top priority though. Then there is my martial arts, this comes a close second . I am very fortunate to be training in the way I asked for/most desired, and with the system which is by far the best match for me. So my dreams for the future are to follow my true will, which involves teaching, as well as reminding others of their true self. This has always come in many different and surprising ways, often in ways that I would never have guessed would lead to the above lol. My long-term and still current dream is to lead retreats to accomplish the above. However it has not quite manifested in that way yet (though it has been confirmed twice that this is the eventual goal). There's also that dream to teach Bagua, but I will just see if that is in my cards in the future or not. Well OK I already teach it, but I mean fully and properly teaching it. I would also like to travel more . To me our dreams are what our heart and higher self call us to do. Wants are more what our mind thinks hey this wold be fun.
  25. Dreams, ambitons, goals?

Hmmm, I guess there are different dreams, the ones we have where we want something... but then also the ones where our higher self wants something, then it is up to us to manifest it. My HGA most definitely gives a strong push in certain directions. It is definitely counter productive to go against these.
