Personally I do not use it as a Saturn square (though it can be used for that) and wonder if that is a newer (after 1600 sort of thing) correspondence for the square. I was taught to walk it years back for balance, prosperity and so forth. More along the lines of the Taoist stuff now that I look at it. Now that I practice Bagua, and have read about star stepping this square seems to have so many new possibilities! On a side note I've also worked with some of the other squares as well. (but not in a Western match them up with planets sense).

The one on the website looks identical to the chinatown ones, not old coins unfortunately. That makes perfect sense Friend. The old coins are pretty amazing, there are some at a local store around here, and they are most definitely different in many ways than the fake, or even new, ones. I have been told that the knotting is just as important as well, the way the knots are done. I'm guessing that real silk is used traditionally too. Also specific coins from a specific period. Actually I was a bit surprised that the one I got from Chinatown did anything! I'm not entirely sure how that works (not everything I have bought from Chinatown has worked, but most things have). My faves are those little fabric talismans in various shapes . The folks at the local talisman store are quite nice fortunately, which isn't always the case (around here) if you are white!

Easter being based on the old Pagan holiday based in Spring equinox though, which is an event based on the the seasons. So I'm curious if some of the Chinese calendar holidays act this way as well?

I have found that it can slowly fade over time. It depends if you prepare the stone or not, and how long you wore it or used it for. Be careful though as sometimes it may be difficult to revert back in case you want to later (most people really don't know what we really want). I have not seen a going back to even worse thing happen in this instance fortunately. Btw, make sure they are genuine rubies and not lab grown or reformed.

I think that usually it is folks who are suffering in some way themselves, they want to take it out on others. I have noticed the folks who are really nasty towards others are usually pretty miserable and have a LOT to work though. Then you get the folks who think they are doing good, or don't realize they are being nasty, or what they are doing is wrong. I went and watched the news today, to get this realization. I've also seen it before though.

You are likely going to get a different answer from everyone you ask . I think the best way to think about sex is what comes naturally for you, unless it is getting in the way of other things in life. Unless you are trying for some specific retention thing. However since you are still young, don't be so hard on yourself!!! 155 days, that is amazing! (I've only ever made it about 60-70, trying for 100, but only once hehe). I have talked with many folks who do the 100 days of retention, but they do that once in their life, or perhaps 2-3 times. I would be very surprised if anyone under 30 did not have many many thoughts about sex! Well even over 30, but I mean more so for those under 30. It is not a bad thing at all, it just may not be in your present goals. I have been told about younger folks who did a lot of retention work and it increased their qi and power and martial arts... but really you want to think about how important this might be to you? I think balance is good . Also no reason to avoid women really, unless you wish to keep going for 155 days at a time of course, that would take a very patient girlfriend hehe. What are the reasons for the prolonged retention practice? How important is this to you? Is this even more important than sexual relations at this point in time? Are the number of days advice from someone else, or more like see how long you can go? On a side note, there are many good threads about retaining while also enjoying sex and orgasm (though this might not be for you in particular, I do not know). Best of luck with your practice .

I'm curious as to why this time of year in particular? From other traditions I'm used to ghosts and etc. being less active during the hot and sunny times, and more active (and the veil more open) late October/Early November. I'm wondering if it is a change of calendar thing, a star thing, a season thing, or?

The above post reminds me of something which I tried a few times (and it seemed to work). What I basically did was layout the cards in the same way I would for doing a reading, but I specifically placed cards which are beneficial in each quadrant. So the money/work quadrant had some positive discs for example, the spiritual quadrant having the fool, and so forth. I have no idea if it would work for others or not, it is just something I made up one day. Try at your own risk lol.

Is it possibly something on your computer? Is anyone else getting this? Which browser are you using? In other words I haven't run into anything like that. But I do think one other person has made mention of something similar? (unless that was your report).

Edit: I personally got a very bad vibe from this site. Upon looking though, nice selection, even if extremely expensive compared with chinatown. Personally the the way the site is setup and the wording puts me right off, but would be neat if there were more sites with this selection. Be very careful using the death card, and especially if you use the tower card for this sort of work! While it does work, and good results come of it, sometimes they come on a little faster, and more dramatically than one might like! I don't just mean on a psychological and spiritual level either .
