As deep meditation as possible, then follow the energy.

Funny thing, I learned some of my best Bagua after I ended up with a broken foot (that class sucked lol). I got to ask the question of "I can't circle walk, please give me some other stuff to do". Wow, some of that other stuff was amazing . Oh wait, I see your foot is all better now, awesome. I hope you learned some cool stuff while you couldn't use it.

Yeah a bit confusing since crane stepping and rolling stepping don't really have sliding (though with crane stepping there can be a little bit of slide at the end depending on system). Ask the lineage holder what the other 5 types are will ya? My teacher mentioned it once, but in the context of "and in many years from now you will learn" so I didn't pay nearly enough attention to it, and didn't have my notebook handy lol. I'm going to hazard a guess that it relates to the 8 animals somehow. The mud step being the snake step pretty much, lion step, crane step...

I've learned both sorts you describe here. The weight transfer thing is something you start with, but which you keep doing forever more, it just becomes less obvious as you are doing it naturally after a time without thinking about it. Just different schools/styles, or at least that is my understanding at this point in time .

You mentioned 8 types of mud stepping, then talked about the lion, crane and other sorts of stepping. So do you mean 8 types of mud stepping PLUS 7 other types of stepping (crane, lion, etc.) on top of that? Is pole star stepping diff than star stepping (foot slide thing)? Crane step = leg torture (I mean even more than snake/mud stepping) lol.

Spring --> Liver --> Anger

Is there a specific order or arrangement that the statues are supposed to be in? Something feels a little "off", if that makes any sense. Perhaps ask each one who goes first, second and so forth? Also since you bought them on amazon.com, did you purify each one, then bless and consecrate (incense them each at the very least) before placing them on the altar?

I had a look through the book today (a friend of mine has it). Some of it is repeat, about 20% perhaps, but talked about in a different context. The rest is material which hasn't been published by him before. It is mostly how to. Now whether someone could do it on their own from the book only, I'm sure, however the disclaimer in the front suggests that you work with someone who has the knowledge of these exercises if you are doing them. Probably so you don't mess yourself up. The book most definitely covers a LOT, and I'm actually quite surprised all of this is public! Pretty cool exercises, meditations, qigong and so forth.

21 day retention challenge for guys and girls

The goal is purely health orientated. For me in particular I mean. I meant to quote the above comment. -
21 day retention challenge for guys and girls
BaguaKicksAss replied to White Wolf's topic in General Discussion
I made it 6 weeks . Then my energy got too out of sorts. I'll try again sometime. After I ask my teacher how to fix my energy while doing this. -
I'm surprised at some of the stuff he put in the Daoist magic books! He's kinda that way .

Can Kundalini "burn up" entities?
BaguaKicksAss replied to CrunchyChocolate555's topic in General Discussion
So did you get rid of it? I just re-read your original post and wondering... what about contacting BK Frantzis? If it originated from one of his meditations, and he *has* been teaching for several decades, he has likely run into this sot of thing before. He might have some good suggestions for exercises to do to fix things up. He's contactable via facebook from what I've heard. -
Does Taobums monitor personal conversations and internet usage?
BaguaKicksAss replied to Aaron's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Next time you see an ad, you will notice a drop down menu to the right of it. You will find that you can opt out of google stalking (ads relevant to your interests) as well as particular advertising companies. I no longer see ads anywhere on the net which try to lead me to beleive pipelines and oil tankers are safe now . Having run forums before, it is extremely difficult for the folks running the forum to read any person messages or chats, they are not saved or displayed in any usual manner. Only decent level programmers with no life would be able to read the personal messages, and I doubt the chats. -
Do you use precious gems for meditation or opening chakras?
BaguaKicksAss replied to cmpunk50's topic in General Discussion
Forget the fancy gemstones, just go down to the beach or river, and seek out stones which draw you/speak to you. Pick some up. Ask each one what they are best at, and also ask what they can help you in particular with. Sometimes the stones will yell PUT ME BACK, but usually they are pretty friendly overall. Or alternatively you can go out rockhounding (or beach pebble collecting) with a particular goal in mind, looking for stones to help you with memory for example. Then you pick up a few which feel like they would help with that, then you ask them to make sure. Well OK so I've been known to have a bowl of raw rubies sitting around as well, but I still think going with the natural ones in y our own area most definitely has many benefits . If you want to get all technical about it, you can look up granite, jade, quartz, agate and whatever ones are in your area. I think this would only limit how you work with them though. -

I plunk them in the bathwater, makes for what feels like bathing inside of a giant gemstone . Yep, lapis is good for psychism. Amethyst is more the 3rd eye opener I think. -
That's what you get to ask yourself... It usually all stems from something that originally happened, ages back usually. I personally use this stuff: (it works amazingly well!)

Astral projection troubles/blues
BaguaKicksAss replied to Lindelani Mnisi's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
So true . Good advice. -
Basically qi and energy sunk down to dantien, or at least not up in the head/chest. Well also being rooted.
-
Yes pine resin can be eaten. As can some other resins. Many are used in Chinese medicine as well.
-
You are right that I cannot read Chinese. I did enjoy the article, however all of what I wrote in my post is based on what my teacher taught me, not internet articles.

Astral projection troubles/blues
BaguaKicksAss replied to Lindelani Mnisi's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
Traveled through hell (literally, if there is such a place) doubtful. However, traveled in the skid row of the astral and/or other planes and attracted some nasty stuff and entities to you because of your state of mind, very likely. IMHO. How to fix that? Cleansings, lotsa spiritual work. Changing your way of thinking, which then changes your energy, which then evicts the crap. Edit: and upon reading your posts in the other thread.... allowing yourself the time to grieve and knowing that it is a natural process dunig this time will likely help as well. -
If you haven't read it yet, I strongly recommend this article: https://sites.google.com/site/delawareteasociety/yoked-to-earth-a-treatise-on-corpse-demons-and-bigu There are a couple of others around the net, but I don't remember the names of them offhand. I ate this way 6-7 days per week for several years. It was not that difficult for me since I can't eat gluten/wheat anyways. It worked really well for me, right until I took up marathon running. Then I realized I needed more carbs than just yams and potatoes to pull that off. I don't think it is that uncommon. Apparently the immortals ate this way. There is also some interesting writings about the stove gods in relation to not eating grains. Also it was thought that you start to die slowly (as in a regular lifetime) once you start eating grains. However if you stop eating grains, then it helps health and longevity and so forth. I found this quite interesting, but I also read some interviews with various older chinese martial artists who lives into their 90's or past 100, and when asked what they eat, many of them said rice. Some sources say beans are OK, while others say they count as one of the grains.

This is unfortunately very diametrically opposed to the whole grounding thing. I remember meeting someone about 25 years ago who was running a metaphysical store, who was trying to convince me he was Merlin in a past life. This did NOT encourage me along his path lolol. Nothing wrong with remembering, but unfortunately often the ego gets in the way and joins in! It is mostly about remembering though. First you start out with this life, remember as much as possible to as young as possible. Then remember more, even the crappy things you forgot. Then remember to when you were even younger... the more we remember of this life, the more that other stuff is allowed to surface. Just make sure not to use past life searching as a way to avoid this life (many do).
-
For grounding? BAGUA! Ok so perhaps I'm a little biased heh. Any good traditional martial arts would do it. Hell hiking even helps. Always keeping in mind to bring the qi back down and SINK it down. Keeping your chin down and not up with head back ever is good. I have this student who kept having troubles and needed to ground, and all of the above is what helped the most. Talking to one's ancestors is about the least grounding thing I can think of. I mean for someone new to such things, especially from a random website on the internet *winces*. Btw, the chances you got your actual ancestors instead of just random other dead folks who are bored or hungry is about 50/50 if you are doing it via advice from a psychic site on the net. Just thought I'd mention. There are specific traditions setup for such things.

Hey you may have answered my question before I posted it . How does this differ from ancestor honouring or worship?
