Do you not have a day job, or no social life? Personally it is the social life that I don't do much, so I can focus on more than one practice..... that is one catch with more than one practice is that they all take time to become decent proficient at and actually get somewhere with.

You don't gain anything from empowerments
BaguaKicksAss replied to BaguaKicksAss's topic in Buddhist Discussion
You do gain something from empowerments, LOTS of homework! So an interesting question I had, how does it turn out that the right students show up for these things? What if someone isn't ready, but they paid their $50 online and showed up? -
The Rainbow Body by Dr Nida Chenagtsang
BaguaKicksAss replied to Wells's topic in Buddhist Discussion
Apparently it is prudent to lock the meditation tent to keep the darn disciples out, so they don't screw up the process . Interesting vid/interview.- 9 replies

Only about 10x the usual growth for herbs and plants that I use. Also some lasting way past their season, or having an odd second late season that they don't usually. And the ladybugs keep looking a little more unhealthy each year .

There is another lucid dream thread here on TTBs, I added some methods which help to it awhile back .

The protector spirits have no idea how good I am at finding rare books . Though I'm guessing it's more like someone wouldn't understand a particular book if they are not yet ready, or not meant to use it.

I read the entire thread on that other site, interesting . Now I'm paranoid to read anything lol. Sutras seem safe, will stick with sutras... *puts away flight of Garuda* Though how I wish that people would take Western magic books, most especially grimoires, this seriously!

OK, OK, so you do gain something from empowerments . (lose lots of stuff too though!) Thank you everyone for the great insights into these things. I'm glad I started the thread. -
How many folks would check TTBs during the 2 weeks?
-
Stop getting in my own way, and distracting myself for 2 weeks straight. Some amazing things could happen I figure . Also the whole nothing left to lose place people get to sometimes in their lives has some very amazing growth potential.
