  1. You can find most of the Mo Pai threads in the pit... (just helping you search lol)
  2. Adverse Effects of Contemplative Practices article

I've seen many without teachers, where their ego gets in the way, and they end up pretty unbalanced from it... So having a guide helps. But the teacher/guide must also be experienced enough to know the signs and help guide the person too...
  3. Like others suggested, yes a PPF is a good idea. Check out my personal practice forum on here to see the wonders of SUB CATEGORIES! Also on the PPF *you* are the moderator, you can delete posts as you see fit. Now the MoPaidebate forum, probably wouldn't go for your idea much since the site owner was a student of Jim and the only reason we have the info for level 1, then 2a and 2b is because one of Jim's students leaked it without Jim's permission... KenBrace's forum (in his sig) might work. Then there is also SonoftheGods' forum which is open to many different MoPai things. Several options .
  4. What can masculinism do for women?

Another interesting thing to ponder.. recently now that more than 2 genders is finally being accepted, and some people just prefer to be listed as neither, or both or fluid, or whatever gender they identify as. This imo just goes to show that how we perceive and try to mold (from birth) "male" and "female" and "man" and "woman" is far to limiting. Cool if someone does in fact fit the traditional roles and descriptions, but also cool if they don't, and also cool if they want to enhance who they are as a person.
  5. What can masculinism do for women?

Someone on the other thread about "how feminism benefits men" that us ladies would get all up in arms (or perhaps everyone, not just ladies) if there was a thread about how "masculinism" (his term) affects women. So I'm just taking it to mean what feminism does, but for men. So I'm taking it to mean anything which helps to empower men . Also I have been seeing many men work on this sort of thing for themselves for a couple of decades now, and think it is pretty awesome. Men are often expected to be (generally) either the stereotypical role, or completely emasculated; neither is good imo, we should be who we are naturally as individuals, imo.
  6. A bunch of newbies making up a system, oh hell no, very very bad idea. Nothing messes people up worse than people who don't know what they are doing creating energetic practices.
  7. Apech For Mod Team

Apech is already mod isn't he?
  8. If 'astral travel' works; how come it's not on TripAdvisor?

.... more circle walking.... Just kidding, I mean more projection practice . Also don't project on the astral for what I'm talking about, go more denser and onto the physical .
  9. What can feminism do for men?

Only because the rest of us were to disgusted to read every post...
  10. If 'astral travel' works; how come it's not on TripAdvisor?

What I will do is travel to a store I have never been to (but seen the outside of so I know where I'm going). I will make note of how it is setup and some items there. Then I will go there in person the next day to compare. Also astral meetings with others, then compare what happened afterwards.
  11. What can feminism do for men?

By equal pay, I mean for the exact same job.
  12. What can feminism do for men?

    http://thetaobums.com/topic/35360-what-can-masculinism-do-for-women/ Enjoy .
  13. What can feminism do for men?

As long as everyone could discuss it without insulting each other or the genders, I think that would be a good thread. I think society screws men over (but in different ways) just as much as it screws women over.
  14. What can feminism do for men?

Split and pit has always been my favorite option, then the good convo and posts still stay in the thread.
  15. What can feminism do for men?

Yeah I didn't see even a 3 day suspension on anyone from that thread though (well OK accept one person who REALLY went over the top)
  16. What can feminism do for men?

I see that the mods said we should report any posts in that other thread which are too nasty... well the thing is, most women (including myself) just left the thread after the first derogatory comment. So then you get reports from the only 2 who stayed. To report that post now, I'd have to read the entire thread....
  17. Now that would be funny... some master gets bored, goes and pisses everyone off about their own system...
  18. Hermetic and Occult - Change?

    Bagua section: circular discussion
  19. What can feminism do for men?

I had missed that post. That is so uncalled for. Link?
  20. If 'astral travel' works; how come it's not on TripAdvisor?

Because most only dabble in it and never get that good at it.
  21. A thread for everyone interested in retention/celibacy

I remember when I first came on as staff here, I had reported a post for not citing where they pasted it from online.... I was saddened to hear that that wasn't board policy . I've mostly gotten over it LOL. No I didn't read the OP, but I read all the replies . Retention practices are generally done alongside qigong or neigong or something else with a qualified teacher watching your progress (to make sure no odd blockages come up and etc.) 100 days is quite common.
  22. I think that's been done before, for $300 per level.... Ken's cool though, he just wants people to have the info/practice, for free. I still feel there is definitely something to the first level, which works better than most somethings, so I have to agree with them on that bit. Most somethings get pretty watered down. PS no one uses JC's real name out of respect I think.
  23. Vitamin B-12 Shots?

There are 1000 different things which can lead to fatigue..... Allergies Lack of exercise over time Some medical condition (fatigue is a warning sign) Depression Lack of iron (never self medicate with this, at least b12 is water soluble, iron isn't) Though I and others have found for fatigue, the best things to fix it are Bagua and medical qigong . Oh hell even taichi works to some extent .
  24. What can feminism do for men?

Yeah there is a lot of men shaming too, it really sucks . Also, most men I have talked with at least at some point make comments about how they aren't built enough. Though I have found that ever since we have talked less about women shaming, there has been more talk about men shaming as well (it did take a couple of years to catch up though).
