  1. Clothes for good energy flow?

I am fortunate enough to have a tshirt guy who does custom tshirts and yoga pants, and jackets for me. So I have Bagua clothing . All in bamboo. I really don't enjoy wearing cotton tshirts anymore. The bamboo is sooooo sooooffftttt .
  2. Clothes for good energy flow?

Bamboo is by far my fave . You can also get silk "long underwear". It's actually very thin and cooling. This is more to keep the energy in, and other energy out, though.
  3. Dr. Johnson said he would be happy to go for it, and that he would be willing to answer 20 questions . For more information about him, Dr. Johnson's website is at: http://daoistmagic.com/ Most of the books he has written are listed here: http://daoistmagic.com/guide-to-buying-books/ as well as the links from there for the rest of them. His bio is on his website: http://daoistmagic.com/prof-johnsons/ Basically Daoism, magic, BAGUA, Medical Qigong and Neigong are what he specializes in. (or at least that is my perception from my particular interests ). He has been interviewed before a few times: I think I've covered pretty much all the background info.... His site has a very strict copyright policy, and I would have to do a little sneaky stuff to copy and paste what is on there anyways... so I decided to provide links instead. So please come up with some questions, each numbered if you wish to add more than one. Though adding only one per post might make the voting system easier (I'm guessing there will be quite a bit of activity in this thread). Then we will vote on the best ones by use of the *like* feature.
  4. We are currently gathering questions for the interview . A few folks have given suggestions, but would be awesome to hear from some others. http://thetaobums.com/topic/34508-gathering-questions-for-an-interview-with-dr-jerry-alan-johnson/
  5. Are you a Left Brain or Right Brain Bum?

78% left brained, and I haven't even started any art projects yet today... ENFP btw.
  6. Chat Room

Hope he's OK. Some folks who stopped chatting in there might come back now...
  7. Chat Room

Empty? You sure? We'd setup beds in there for Jeff and the Captain . Hmm, which time zone are you in?
  8. Master He Jing-han

Ever seen his teacups? Or his Bagua walking?    All on youtube.
  9. What has TaoBums taught you?

    Nice analogy .
  10. Costco. REI outlet.com (don't remember the exact url) Personally I go to the Sugoi warehouse sale each year; yeah $100 clothes for $5-$20 . See if you have any gear factories near where you live.
  11. Gathering questions for an interview with Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson

Well considering Dr. Johnson said 20, and there are already a few several parters in there... lol
  12. Gathering questions for an interview with Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson

Nice combo . Though *your* question is still more than one.... lol.
  13. Oil Pulling

I loooove black sesame desserts! They serve one at the local dimsum place . Black sesame is on those immortality recipe lists in the JAJ Neigong book....
  14. Taking naps in the day-time

In Mexico they cal it siesta . I have had friends hear my voice; I mean friends a couple thousand miles away. I feel that when it is even stronger than a lucid dream that it is actually happening, somewhere somehow. And/or it is happening on a plane more dense than the astral.
  15. Scientific Proof that Magic Works(!)

Mathematics used to be "occult" and considered evil.... ROFL.
  16. Gathering questions for an interview with Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson

To add your question I would have to delete another (you lucked out, I have been too busy training to send the email lol). Also your "one" question, is about 4 . Could you please pick just one of them?
  17. Scientific Proof that Magic Works(!)

I have no interest whatsoever in the scientific community proving magic works.
  18. Taking naps in the day-time

Even better if laying on the grass, on a warm day, in the shade, underneath a tree .
  19. He Jinghan's training!
  20. Taking naps in the day-time

I do so regularly and find it to be an awesome practice which leaves me relaxed throughout the day, and not tired . There have been some studies recently about this and saying it is recommended (though it was from a scientific aspect, not spiritual).
  21. Looking for a teacher

This is Bagua specific, but we do have many teachers . http://pakua.ca/a-directory-of-all-of-the-bagua-teachers-i-can-find-in-vancouver-bc-canada/
  22. long term kundalini side effects

Screwed up adrenals and all they do. (in at least some cases anyways)
  23. Damo Mitchell interview questions

    1. If one only has half an hour to an hour to practice each day, what do you recommend (besides meditation as that would be done during other times), as the most important practice/practices? 2. Can you learn and practice neigong from books and videos only, or do you need an in person teacher? 3. What are the standard dangers of the above, and what usually tends to go wrong? (if any) 4. Which one practice (aside from meditation) has brought you the furthest/worked the best for you over the years? 5. Can a neigong practice be integrated with an internal martial arts practice, or should they be trained separately? 6. Which hard qigong practice would you most recommend?
  24. Could we start a list of retreats and workshops?

Wayne Dyer workshop in a venue which seats a few thousand people; $300 per person. I see why he has no money issues http://www.hayhouse.com/i-can-do-it-2014-vancouver-full-conference-pass
  25. Not a bot ... hopefully

Didn't work . Just disable the software, or perhaps try a different browser just for a post .
