Official? Personally I would like to see all members being equally able to, and respected, when asking people if they wish to be interviewed . I have yet to meet a Daoist priest without a sense of humor... . Hmmm, wonder if someone who isn't a member on the forums can tell who is staff and who isn't with a quick glance? If no one else takes this project up, bump it (and my inbox) in about a month and I can send a request... though I really would like to give other folks chances too, interviews are kinda fun.

Intuition, psychic impressions, divination and such I treat exactly the same way that I treat taking supplements. You always have to give something new a month to let it kick in and see how it works, perhaps two if you have heard really good things about it. Then you assess the situation; does it work or not? Have things improved at all? How are things in general overall? Each type of intuition is different, and each situation one uses intuition for is different (training, mundane life, qigong path, etc.), so each one should be assessed differently imo. Though I really don't think intuition should be used with qigong/neigong/energetic practices until one has had proper training from someone qualified for a couple of years, to get on the right track. I've seen some pretty bad fallouts from self made systems; sometimes this doesn't show up for a few years. Also having a teacher or very blunt friend (most friends will just feed you what you want to hear) to help you keep on track and make sure you don't go to far. Though really, as long as you can pay your bills, are happy most of the time, and things go well more than at least half of the time, how much does it really matter?

Oh ZYD, now I'm getting all nostalgic and sentimental . He was the one who talked me into writing a book. He was also the one who encouraged me to do workshops, and even attended them (and of course cracked jokes during them, and vice versa during his!) He also was the most supportive of everyone when I was going through a rough time with the local Pagan community. From what I understand he helped and encouraged quite a few authors to get off their butts. I found that he used the whole "I'm a famous author" bit to help and encourage others, than anything else. Nice and down to earth too. Hmmm, whenever him and I went into a bookshop, he would predominantly display his books on the shelving . He was definitely happier than most, and smiled most of the time; so I figure he's still enjoying himself wherever he's gotten to now. Btw, someone mentioned the whole C word being so scary.... accept for the nurses in hospitals who talk about it being no big deal, that they can use radiation and just cut it out these days. Not so sure I like that attitude.

I thought of a fun and funny story Don shared with me years back... He was in a coffee shop one day and saw a copy of his book sitting on a table. Obviously someone had just left it there and went off to the bathroom or something.... So he autographed it and walked away before the person got back .

Depending on how one draws them and what with . Or you could paint the circle *on* oneself (see the tattoo thread for more info on this lol). Now painting the names Deity or other spirit names within said circle upon the silk in magical paint (made with herbs and blessed by these entities) works extremely well! A friend of mine likes to sleep covered in his leather circles or spirit seals (painted on the leather). It is definitely a neat experience. Oh wait, were we talking about tinfoil? I wonder what standing on a 6 foot metal circle with preferred names engraved upon it, would be like? Though thinking about it, I rarely use circles for work or sleep. Nothing wrong with squares and rectangles (ie. the walls of my rooms) for creating magical and/or protected space....

I like the black silk for when I'm trying to "hide" stuff, you know from curious astral travelers or whatever . Btw, note for everyone, try sleeping wrapped in silk sometime... best sleep EVER! I figure at the very least I should treat myself as well as my tarot cards .
