  1. A year of Agrippa :)

I'll go with a decent sized temple myself, with a nice full bookshelf .
  2. SPAM in my thread, that sucks. And that doesn't help one's own personal practice at all.
  3. A year of Agrippa :)

I have work and family stuff right now, so my posting and reading has slowed down quite a bit...
  4. Do you custom build computers?

Actually you save quite a bit building one yourself, at least if you are going for the high end sorts. Few friends of mine has saved $1000 and up on their systems. Probably only save $100-$200 on a low end system though.
  5. Did some circle walking today . Not much circle walking, but I also appear to have worked for 16 hours today...
  6. Do you custom build computers?

Not much markup on the parts themselves, and then you have to buy 100 of each item. Be careful with ebay, a lot of chinese manufacturers make fake "brand name" parts (which tend to break in a month or two). They list them as american, japanese, etc. though. Tiger direct is pretty good price wise. If you live in a small town, you could make quite a bit at it.
  7. When most paths talk about the "soul" and "soul retrieval", it is more like parts of it missing. These parts missing/not still connected to us due to past traumas, accidents and such. Some folks seem to see this as more literal, others as more psychological, many as both.
  8. A year of Agrippa :)

It's gotten all quiet around here, now that we have a nice shiny new section... Anyone wish to start in with chapter 2? I will be posting some more chapters, next week.
  9. Airy-faery v. Honesty

Something wrong with a lot of both? Bring about more peace and joy, while searching for truth.... and/or unravel truth while figuring out for yourself how to bring about more happiness?
  10. Buddhist teachers tend to use the term "soul" quite a bit differently than many other paths from what I have found. Same with Taoists. I'm way too new to anything Buddhist to even start to try to explain.
  11. Airy-faery v. Honesty

Eckhart Tolle is one of the fave authors of the airy fairy folks! (around here anyways)
  12. Are dreams tinting your waking life?

But your "waking" life, is also a dream . What do you do to change your mood, energy and focus when someone off-centers you during the day? You can do the same sorts of things...
  13. I did some circle waking today .
  14. Times when one has enough free time and health to pull this off are awesome . Get it in while you can!
  15. Looking for a true practitioner

Helpful, find a teacher, online or even better, in person. Hurtful, reading books on magick.
  16. My hips and legs are so sore, that I had trouble getting up from sitting on the floor then walking across the basement lolololol. The circle walking is, uhm working!
  17. I got some circle walking in today. I did some standing last night (but may have already mentioned it). I'm always amazed how the simple standing causes such leg muscle pain! lol
  18. Hey a light and gentle horse stance (is there such a thing? lol) is much better than no horse stance at all! Also 5 minutes is way better than no minutes .
  19. The Delusion of Self & Other by Dr Miles Neale

LOL What are you doing up at this hour? Wait, what am *I* doing up at this hour? .......
  20. I did some very torqued standing postures Friday .
  21. More Satanic Mischief

They are called Romani, "gypsy" is quite the derogatory term. And no.
  22. Many of us are nearly daily, so please just post which days you do practice (or have practiced so far since the start date as well) . Hey I traveled 14 hours yesterday... yeah I didn't practice either lolol. Still recooping today, going to have some nice before dinner practice (because we all know what happens if one plans for after dinner practice *smirk*)
  23. Hmmm, I've never judged a place by the number of bad things that happen to me; I had never thought of it that way for some reason. More like the bad things which happen to others, or just the vibe in general, how people get fired from their jobs for their religious beliefs for example. But most importantly which place has more awesome things . However, people in excruciating pain for years only because they can't afford health care (one example) is abhorrent to me. I'm glad there are some slight improvements in this. USA's yelp rating: "was alright to live in, many financial opportunities, but watch out if you do not fit the standard population's idea of who you should be and how you should act. I would instead recommend Europe." 3 stars. LOL
  24. I'm assuming *compared with other countries*, was meant... Awesome, and not so awesome people everywhere. It's more a matter of how awesome, and % of awesome compared to the other .
  25. A year of Agrippa :)

Just in case I hadn't posted this earlier, ZYD was nice enough to PM me a link to one of the original Latin versions https://archive.org/details/DeOccultaPhilosophiaLoc1533
