  1. Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

I think that one should at least practice whatever they plan to add to their personal practice, for a time, before modifying it. Often the person teaching something or writing about it will have reasons for certain things, and the reader might not always know the hows and whys of everything. I thought I would mention this since not everyone has been neigong/medical qigong/etc. for ages...
  2. Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

One thing I always tend to forget is that some folks are starting off brand new, or only a year or two in. ZYD has a good point about the medical qigong books (1 and 2) before the Neigong one.
  3. Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

Actually I've always liked his posts, and found his site interesting. Though I appreciate JAJ much more than he does . FH just uses a different approach than many is all.
  4. Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

Having read the entire book at this point I would say, if you don't have an in person teacher, most definitely get this book .
  5. Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

PS h.uriah is no longer a TTBs member.
  6. Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

I was thinking more like a few decades....
  7. Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

You must have missed most of his posts on TTBs .
  8. Filling up the lower Dan Tien- How and Why

Meditate for an hour per day everyday, type of mediation doesn't matter. This is the quickest and strongest method to strengthen inner vision a LOT .
  9. The Tao Bums Chatroom

Yes, something like that. It is a little frustrating when there are a bunch of folks on at once, but usually it's empty. Or at least before when I would look occasionally.
  10. The Tao Bums Chatroom

That would require a software upgrade and Sean paying more money...... so the chances don't seem good (this was asked 6 months back too). I guess though if it is used daily perhaps it might be worth it. Many forums have an irc channel, I could always setup an unofficial one one day if people are interested.
  11. Little red box

Nungali, you miss Chegg? It's OK I can take over for him for a few minutes...   Blessings of straw and winning to you Nungali!
  12. Dynamic IPs are the same ISP and city though...
  13. That's nice. Don't troll and use a proxy all you want. Troll or break the ToS and you'd better have a legit connection .
  14. While traveling to different cities....
  15. Following my yin energy...how?

A heartfelt prayer asking for help to make your path and the signs more clear would likely work well .
  16. Little red box

Nah,t he system just figures if you have come online recently you have likely read the old ones...
  17. Little red box

Those are notifications, very similar to facebook, there is a new one each time someone likes one of your posts. Similar to the new ones you get (right next to those) where it shows each time you get a new message. You click on the little number and you will see a drop down thing that shows all the notifications .
  18. The Yi Jing Begins with the Eight Symbols of the Ba Gua

I see you found the new subforum .
  19. Little red box

    What little red box? Screenshot?
  20. In 4 different locations.... The private jet would be a bit spendy .
  21. You only use one IP and ISP which is good. Exalted uses 4 diff ISPs and MANY IPs! Not many people come to the forums knowing all the lingo and how to use them; trolling for the first few threads is also suspicious. PS IP is useless sometimes.
  22. Nah, just the same posting style, didn't find out anything (yet). He just can't post for a few days now while the mods figure out what to do.
  23. Do Ya'll guys drink?

Rarely if ever. Doesn't help the practice. Also ice wine is sort of expensive .
  24. Time to play guess the previously banned member?
  25. Oh challenge all you want, just keep up with the no insult policy.
