Nah, he's just confirmed it with his buddy BKA who's read several hundred of them over the years . (and met many of them too now that I think about it lololol) I get what you are saying Aeran, it's just that... well.... I honestly feel that many of the books out there do more harm than good, and it is unofrunate .

I unfortunately can't argue this one, well accept the money thing, many newage authors are doing quite well financially. Llewelynn books don't actually make very good TP, the pages are far to stiff, and are not soft at all.

Thank you Dawai. And welcome to your new PPF CloudHands .

$37 per night to share a room with 3 other people? What a complete ripoff! Seriously! I have friends in Seattle, I will ask them for suggestions.

When deciding where to put your post, from Tech
BaguaKicksAss posted a topic in Forum and Tech Support
I know sometimes it is a really difficult decision about where to post any particular post, as we have many different sections and options on TTBs. So here are some guidelines from Tech about where to put certain posts... 1. Am I sober? a. yes - put post in the section which seems to fit the topic of your post best b. no - In your PPF!!! Best place. Not in Tech's inbox . 2. Is it about Mo Pai? a. yes - In one of the TWO THOUSAND or so threads we already have on Mo Pai. b. no - put post in the section which seems to fit the topic of your post best 3. Is it about anything else? a. yes - put post in the section which seems to fit the topic of your post best b. no - Please work on your reading comprehension skills . -
Shooting a fireball out my ass would have been extremely convenient that time it was pouring rain, we were out on the beach, it was freezing cold, and all the firewood was soaked through! Or that other camping trip in the pouring rain. Don't knock fireballs until you have tried them! PS quite a few people in google image search seem to have mastered this technique (usually when drunk and with a lighter while farting) but I will spare you all the photos...

I'm not people's housekeeper, please stick with the above. -
I would like to see some talks by some who do exhibit some obvious power then. I say this because most of the ones I have watched on youtube don't feel that strong to me (but this could be path bias or energy bias as well on my part).

Sure glad no one is suggesting I do vid demos of what little I can do of *my* grandteacher's stuff!!!! Aside from not wanting to make him look bad, there just is no comparison. Now on the magical side of things, all the "wierd shit" as I call it happens at random.

That would sort of hurt wouldn't it? You could try eating habinero peppers....

Kali?

Something about trying to gain powers so you can help more people better, instead of just selfishly wanting them seems to make the powers come about more easily or something.... Catch is you have to actually mean it.

I'll work on my teleportation, then head right on over .

The time frames below are based on what I have seen, and from what others who I have talked with have said... (others may see things differently). Definitely don't take this as any hard and fast rules, or anything more than a quick wild guess. Astral projection takes a few years of daily practice of that specifically. Read Robert Bruce. Some people never manage though. Deep into meditation at will takes about 10 years of daily practice. Lucid dreaming at will takes about 5 years of writing every single dream down. Healing, should only be done under a qualified teacher, it takes a few hundred hours of training and practice. I've seen a lot of so called "healers" mess people up pretty badly. Those are just averages, for the average person with an average amount (but some) natural talent. Though I mean proficiency at each, not mastering them. Earlier you had mentioned you want something where you can see results in... well apparently around a month or so (since you are frustrated that you can't after a month of practice). I recommend much more patience . It is a lifetime of practice.
-
I wouldn't worry at all about not experience anything within only a month, especially practicing on your own. With a decent teacher you can experience some stuff the first time, or within a few months, depending. Still though it takes time and practice. What sort of abilities or powers specifically were you hoping for? Healing, you definitely have to be trained by someone qualified or you can really mess up yourself and/or the other person.
-
OK how long did you stick to each thing for? Did you practice daily, how long per day? PS we aren't going for McPower here, doesn't work that way.
-
Here's a good one, and also one of the things which builds the most power quickly. There are a series of them by him from what I recall.

About this thread: read the book "Hungry Ghosts" that sums a lot of is up (very unfortunately).

An amazing amount of folks teach for free. Searching online for a system is a waste of time in my opinion.
-
I'm going to take a guess that if there are thousands of paths, thousands of books and millions of practitioners out there, that it works . Which one? Pretty much which one your instincts draw you to. Finding a local teacher to guide you would help immensely.
-
No. Is everyone a top charting musician? Is everyone a pro in their favorite field of sport. Of course not. Same goes with spiritual and energetic practices (though oftentimes people trying to sell books will try to tell you otherwise). Though most people drawn to it can do a lot if they practice daily. You are worried about lack of results, but if you have been practicing daily for less than 2 years, I wouldn't worry about all. It takes awhile to get this stuff to work.

No one is enlightened, and stick with your teacher. Yep, like this guy .

The Superiority of Tantra to Sutra

I was responding to your last question . -
He's only 23, wow, just wow! (it's not very often I'm genuinely impressed by a spiritual teacher person).

Surely you have heard of the concept of reincarnation?
