Giving away my new Kindle book! "50 shades of yay: great thinkers on happiness"
BaguaKicksAss replied to Grigory's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Gregory, like your bio . No I haven't read your book yet.... I have quite a stack here to go through, first. -
A friend of mine who keeps up on such things found this: http://www.davidhalperin.net/the-box-of-crazy-ufos-and-ezekiels-vision-part-1/

One day, I will be able to surf the internet on the ipaper version, not backlit, now that would be awesome!
-
I'm in Canada... I don't want one of the ones which plays movies, since those are backlit, and well... may as well use my laptop. Trying to get away from reading lit screens, do that enough..... on TTBs lol.

Can you read PDFs on the kindle?
-
Oh! I would most definitely be interested in such writings from you. Will check your PPF regularly. Also thank you muchly for sharing your how to see things from Agrippa's perspective writings.

I'm on page 7 so far, and having trouble figuring out what I should be looking for and getting out of it? Help? PS, have to love TTBs members who provide links to free books when recommending them!

180 day practice? Awesome about the 100 days though. -
Should organize those....

TTBs is just perfect for those little breaks you need when your mind is about to melt... . Just join in when you can. I'm currently doing work during the day, then night classes learning to make better jewelry, so Agrippa is getting a bit neglected until December. Only 2 more weeks!!!! With your approach mentioned above, looks like you may be reading, and researching Agrippa for quite some time (though at a guess, you already have been for at least awhile).

[TBOPB1C01] Agrippa Book One Chapter One
BaguaKicksAss replied to BaguaKicksAss's topic in Agrippa Textual Study
I've always understood etheric more as the nearly physical dense energy you get with manifestations and such.... never thought of it being the same stuff relating to and around stars... hmmmm..... Of course there's also the magnetic pull to look at, the moon isn't the only lump of rock up there which does that from what I understand . Interesting stuff. -
I had a cat named Hekate once. Then at another point in time a dog named Loki. They both sort of fit their names. But, but, the GD went and changed the perfectly good Agrippa and Enochian to fit their system of correspondences :'( Onto chapters 1-3!

[TBOPB1C01] Agrippa Book One Chapter One
BaguaKicksAss replied to BaguaKicksAss's topic in Agrippa Textual Study
What do you mean by sympathetic influence when it comes to the stars, planets and etc.? Next time I'm staring at stars I'm going to check to see if I feel that the energy coming from them to me is via "rays" or not . The bit about sympathetic influence I know of is that is I have a piece of your hair (a part of you), and I use it attached to a namepaper and candle, with the purpose of making you post all of your alchemical secrets on TTBs, that is is much much more likely to work than if I had no such part of you. Oh hell even if it was a pen you used to own. I'm going to figure that you mean using the symbols of said stars and planets for a magic with them? Speaking of stars, boy do I love Agrippa's star talismans! They work extremely well. Looking forward to that chapter! -
Please Help Me Figure This Manifestation Thing Out!
BaguaKicksAss replied to DreamBliss's topic in General Discussion
If a particular path/method doesn't work very well for you, try another. Even the most legit paths, aren't the right one for all people, and work better for some than others. Manifestation newage bullshit? Wha?! I think you might mean visualization.... -
There, that should be enough to get us started on some pretty interesting conversation

Athena is my actual born with name. Yep, interesting life . Check out my cast seals! I like to show off my latest projects lol. Me a traditionalist, are you sure? We are not even talking post ancient Babylonia and Egypt here.... (though pre Levi, Rudd and Mathers, so all is good )

I think I took it personally because from my experience, half vegetarians tend to be worse than Mormans with the proselytizing... surprised they aren't coming to my door yet! You were just the 101st one lately... Hmmm, living where I do, meat isn't advertised much at all around here, since most are going for a healthy lifestyle (people buying headlamps so they can run at midnight around town, etc.), so we more see ads for things like fish and healthy-ish foods on all the billboards.

Giving away my new Kindle book! "50 shades of yay: great thinkers on happiness"
BaguaKicksAss replied to Grigory's topic in The Rabbit Hole
50 shades of poor grammar and terrible writing (the original book you are referring to), isn't about BDSM. Nothing safe, sane nor consensual in that one. -
Just copy / paste instead of click the link. Please, please, please, don't use modern magic ideas/thinking to try to interpret Agrippa; Tyson tried this and it didn't come out so well. More coming soon .

Books? Since when? I personally don't find books very useful for most teachings. You make a lot of assumptions, just to try to prove your personal theories. To me being alive is common sense. I cannot digest vegetables (aside from carrots and peas); am allergic to most things vegans use to make stuff. There is no reason that buying meat which is grass fed, from a local farm (via my butcher), is wrecking the rest of the world. It's a nice thing for vegans to say, but I personally think vegans have their heads in the books/media. How about just living your life and stop trying to judge and change others? That would be quite refreshing.
