Since it took you nearly 7 hours to reply, I don't beleive you .
  2. a "little" Taiji inspiration for you all :-)

hmmm, so how long each day do you hang out on it?
  3. My girlfriend wants to lose weight

Changing my answer slightly... find some activity, exercise, sports, swimming, bikeriding, hiking or whatever that she really loves. Because if she doesn't love it, she won't keep at it. Then just go have really active fun a LOT. Oh and keep at it the rest of her life. PS works better if you join her too, to help motivate, and hey your heart will love you for it .
  4. My girlfriend wants to lose weight

Cardio, good for the heart too. Since she isn't really overweight I don't recommend dieting, perhaps different exercises to shape up the bits she isn't happy with. Though also scrapping processed foods is good for everyone and "trying to lose weight" is always a good excuse to do so . I would say anything that is in a package or can is not food and is not good for you, but apparently that is a bit strict for most people (considering there are grocery stores which still sell this stuff).
  5. a "little" Taiji inspiration for you all :-)

There is an inversion table sitting here in the livingroom, perhaps I should try it out some more. What are they supposed to be good for? Is this more affective than hanging upside down on the monkey bars at the local playground?
  6. What Happened To Gerard ?

Must have sattelite uplink in the mountains :-D
  7. Tarot Set for beginner - any recommendations

Someone was selling the original paintings of this deck, on ebay, a couple of years back, for only $5000 for all 72. Was soooo tempting. (came with a certificate of authentication). Though the shipping would have been another couple grand.
  8. Tarot Set for beginner - any recommendations

Oh I like them much better like this. Could get one of those oversized decks and do it .

  10. Donald Michael Kraig passed away March 17, 2014

The email thing of 5 years ago could be because of his email changes btw (he had given me new info for everything twice over the years, but forget which years).
  11. Tarot Set for beginner - any recommendations

In this thread, folks were talking about Crowley's deck being a little... dark... so I thought a "grumpy" (cat) Crowley might fit . Though you are right Zhongyongdaoist, a leopard face would likely have been more appropriate considering.

Actually I first read his book in 1989; it was the first book I ever read on magic . These days it's not all that exciting since there are hundreds of books on the topic, but back then there weren't that many, especially which included how to instructions. I didn't meet Don until about 10 years ago though. He is one of the most humble and down to earth folks I've ever met! He practices more along the Tantra side of things these days though I think. There are 858 people signed up for the group healing ritual, pretty awesome!
  13. Tarot Set for Advanced

Linda Falario's deck is awesome for some more advanced workings .

  18. A note from Tech

I have this facebook friend who carves cuneiform into pieces of clay all the time, or paints them on... well about everything in his house. Also has many tattooed onto his body. They are all the various old prayers and honorings to the various Deities of course . His photos are pretty awesome to look at. His project is a little easier than mine, all he has to do is carve them into wet clay... if I want to be traditional, I have to hand carve hieroglyphics into stone walls .
  19. Dr. Baolin Wu / White Cloud Monastery

The "warmups" are the real stuff. The other is to keep the students interested and coming back. I am exaggerating only a tiny bit.
