The Single Light as the Fa Shen that can not be seen creates The need to Pulverize the Physical body, to create the Immortal Golden Dragon body
Wu Ming Jen replied to voidisyinyang's topic in Daoist Discussion
“One’s true body, the Yang body, leaps out of the physical flesh. Consequently one dislikes society, fame, reputation, honor and glory, and one considers the human body to be only dirt, stench and filth.” This therefore is a sign and omen of the Yang Spirit departing its shell, a sign of the true body. One must urgently retrieve it and must not meander away with it. Bring the spirit back into the body. It leaves all the time, bring it back This is where many cultivators go wrong. This is where many follow the incorrect plan This stage feels like the reward for their ordeals, but it is not the highest plane. Void is a lot of your material from Taoist yoga? The actual physical forms of cultivation? -
The Single Light as the Fa Shen that can not be seen creates The need to Pulverize the Physical body, to create the Immortal Golden Dragon body

Shortly after dwelling in this serenity a golden light will emerge from the body like a large wheel, manifesting in front of the practiser who should drive the light of his spiritual nature in front of it, and imagine that the golden light shrinks into a small circle about one inch in diameter, like a gold coin. He should then roll his eyes to collect and suck (the golden light) into his spiritual nature which will enter the original cavity of spirit (tsu ch’iao, between and behind the eyes). This quote void is one of a sitting Chi Gung Exersise done daily with tap, rub, brush, acupressure techniques. as a set. Manipulating eyes to guide light is not the right application. It is a physical, tangible and authenticated method. Not neidan methods « Five Dragons Skill to Expel Diseases and Prolong Life» quotes are actual physical forms see the relation of words dragon, yang Shen, golden light. The sweet spring, the saliva, the Golden Liquid, must descend to the lower Cinnabar Field. It must not be lost through spitting, because it is exactly the root of the Golden Elixir and of utmost importance. One must move and transform this root. The Golden Liquid is likened to the source of water, the source for a long and everlasting life. Same here tongue rotation or swirling the red dragon meaning the tongue. gather Sylvia and ingest in three parts. all great physical exercise but not neidan After mastering the 49 barriers of neidan the terms become very clear. These are not metaphors or analogies. These are not just fantastical examples, but genuine verifications, true images and concretely existing sights. They are true manifestations and prospects. The immortal masters personally verified these strange and bizarre sceneries, truly extraordinary imagery. Cultivators who achieved this stage do not dare to tell others, outsiders, people who are outside the gate of Daoism, outside the sects of Daoism. These are not things that normal people could comprehend, because all the images and sounds that extraordinary people can perceive and hear are too precious and too rare. Some people even at death have no clue of it. -
I finally got it! the thing wrong with Tao and lao tzu is..... he is describing something with no substance that flows through all that is inside and outside at the same time This no thing can not be wrong or right, heavy or light. all our mental cognition vanishes into thin air. Nothing for mind even to attach to in the first place. Sooo long story short is that humans must resolve right and wrong for themselves. It is a very personal matter for ones own self to solve. The tao can shed a lot of light on self development, celebrating life and penetrating the mystery.

Right now the master within is your intelligence. This is a fake master. You need to find the original true dragon, merge the black and the white of Yin and Yang to find the mystical dragon. This comes from the pre-heaven stage before birth mother and father merge. The true dragon has to come from the Yuan Shen, from the original spirit. This is the dragon that creates your life. Before birth you spend nine months in darkness and stillness to nurture your true spirit. Then birth happens. I was young in training and so my mind or intelligent spirit had not come to rule my original childlike spirit. My spirit allowed me to be free and have fun because my mind had not learned to fear the unknown. Yang Qi develops increasing from birth to fullness and then decreasing until we die. Yang Qi Development follows a particular cycle that varies for men and women. -
What is the most straight forward path to enlightenment
Wu Ming Jen replied to falcon's topic in General Discussion
That is amazing the shear volume of people that actually create headaches doing Chi Gung is astounding. They believe they are manipulating something in their mind and not allow for the energy to just flow and get out of the way. Some even practice energy rising without the descending like that is what fire and water do in the natural world all the time, not. Fire rises and water sinks I did not come up with this, it is not a mental construct and my thoughts do not change it. We can manifest our reality but we can not change the natural laws no matter how much we wish for. BUT there is something beyond the laws of yin and yang but it is not a material substance. I cant talk about that, It is way to quite and peaceful. -
I like Helen and Terry. Have you seen this free video?

Not so much for water boxing blue suit has a lot of tension to get the power out, very stiff. The video above is performance art. Wen Wu Ching is well versed in many internal styles and his student has Kung Fu as you can see. I am not comparing anything just another video on topic. I like people to see application like the throat grab it gives meaning to the body movements not just waving hands around plus this is another short range fighting style.

Can anyone teach me Psychic techniques?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Lightseeker's topic in General Discussion
I am having a psychic vision. I see myself posting in this thread again and again. In the vision I see my body sitting at the keyboard typing away frantically. I am trying to stay on topic but something happens there is a change in direction my chair spins and I cannot see the screen anymore. Then the great Goddess comes to me and says two words...No not those two words...... she says.... stop typing.- 354 replies

Can anyone teach me Psychic techniques?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Lightseeker's topic in General Discussion
This is the funny thing about special powers and psychic abilities even chi emission healing or kong jin empty force. We all have the ability and may not seem logical. Many never have a teacher to build on these natural abilities. But this is the joke in an actual fighting situation say you could not use your mind to dissolve the confrontation and it ends up physical. These skills are useless, light paper on fire, knock over a cup or a brick All we need to do is listen to the opponent and know what their intention is. A medium or heavy strike to st5 or ANY other strikes are sooooo much more effective then silly skills. Silly skills will get someone hurt. I use st5 as example, so mysterious and what???? Dim Mak ? who trains that. to take the mystery out this is also known as the John Wayne hay maker a nicely placed strike on the jaw line. In my tradition ask any adept about using these silly skill in a fight and they simply laugh and say NO.- 354 replies

Men should avoid giving things too many names, and look more closely at the whole. That sums up this chapter if we apply that to government we have endless examples of how government is not in accord with Tao. Lobbyist, self interest groups, corporations so many agendas who can keep track. All acting for itself makes it very difficult to be interested in such things.

IF.... kings and barons could be like the tao all things would be in order. The kings and Barons are employed in this case not having the mandate of heaven, the Tao can not be employed it can not be used against something else. kings and barons is a funny translation so is un carved wood, out of context but whatever. The tao te ching points to how Tao can be applied to all facets of life, of government.just like cooking small fish do not mess with it tooooo much Tao everyone has to use it but it seems like it is not there.

So Many Qigong Traditions : How To Approach ?
Wu Ming Jen replied to rideforever's topic in Daoist Discussion
“The Supreme Medicine has three distinctions: Ching [essence], Qi [vitality]. and Shen [spirit], Which are elusive and obscure. Keep to nonbeing, yet hold on to being. And perfection is yours in an instant. When the distant winds blend together, In one hundred days of spiritual work And morning recitation to the Shang Ti, Then in one year you will soar as an immortal. The sages awaken through self-cultivation; Deep, profound, their practices require great effort. Fulfilling vows illumines the Heavens. Breathing nourishes youthfulness. Departing from the Mysterious, entering the Female, It appears to have perished, yet appears to exist. Unmovable, its origin is mysterious. Each person has Ching. The Shen unites with the Ching, The Shen unites with the Qi, The breath then unites with the true nature. Before you have attained this true nature, These terms appear to be fanciful exaggerations. The Shen is capable of entering stone; The Shen is capable of physical flight. Entering water it is not drowned; Entering fire it is not burned. The Shen depends on life form; The Ching depends on sufficient Qi. If these are neither depleted nor injured The result will be youthfulness and longevity. These three distinctions have one principle, Yet so subtle it cannot be heard. Their meeting results in existence, Their parting results in nonexistence. The seven apertures interpenetrate And each emits wisdom light. The sacred sun and sacred moon Illuminate the Golden Court. One attainment is eternal attainment. The body will naturally become weightless. When the supreme harmony is replete, The bone fragments become like winter jade. Acquiring the Elixir results in immortality; Not acquiring it results in extinction. The Elixir is within yourself, It is not white and not green. Recite and hold ten thousand times. These are the subtle principles of self-illumination.” – The Jade Emperor’s Mind Seal Classic. -
What is the most straight forward path to enlightenment
Wu Ming Jen replied to falcon's topic in General Discussion
I do not know anything about enlightenment. The best path is physical and tangible. The post heaven energies we are all born into gets stuck deep into the bones and tendons. By practicing internal martial arts we are able to rid ourselves of this energy, we feel better and our life is more enjoyable. I will take joy and happiness of life, to actually celebrate life as a daily experience over enlightenment any day. Plus I don't like to put obstacles in my way. If you see enlightenment in your path just kill it. Then we can dance, sing and laugh over this so called enlightenment. -
Natural disasters are an extreme condition to regain balance. When humans on the planet make stuff and it gets destroyed was it a disaster? I have never known humans to be responsible for natural disasters only the disasters and disease they make for themselves.

Where can I find a good school of Baguazhang?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Vuk's topic in Daoist Discussion
I would recommend wudang mountain in Hubei provance. There are a lot of schools. I can help to pick one and you can change schools if you like. The school can invite you so you can get a Visa. The list of Bagua methods alone is staggering and you get to choose. All internal and combat applications are readily available. Wudang is also a tourist and pilgrim destination so if you wish to be off the beaten path that is possible, depends on what you like. -
What exactly is ‘turning the light around’, in daoist meditation?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Phoenix3's topic in Daoist Discussion
Both the Golden Flower and the Golden pill (elixir) are simply symbols for true consciousness, which refers to the awareness of the Higher Self or Original Spirit. This consciousness is veiled by the discriminating or illusionary consciousness of the lower self. Making the lower self passive is done through internal action. The Tao has no name or form; it is just the essence, just the original spirit. Essence and life cannot be seen. They are contained in the light of heaven. The light of heaven cannot be seen. What is the color of light? we call it gold. light is awareness Turn the light around. When we turn the light around and become aware of something that needs to be done allow the spirit to move you and then go back to practice. When we turn the light around internal we become aware. Meditating on emptiness is like denial when we become aware act on it and go back to practice. Then there comes a time when all things are done life is in order and the mood is right for picking the medicine. we can not get the medicine unless we cultivate the mood, the mindscape, the body is comfortable all things have no urgency nothing is left to do even for a moment. The time is ripe and the flower burst open. we can not force a flower to bloom but the conditions must be right. -
Is ‘Dao’ more easily translated as ‘God’, or ‘Nature’?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Phoenix3's topic in Daoist Discussion
Tao is not an entity or a divine being. There are no divine beings that existed before this initial moment of creation, but the number of Taoist deities is staggering. The pantheon differs according to sect and region, and its ranks are fluid. No divine being exists forever, and all who interact with humans are subject to human time. Some change over time, and all of them change status with time. Some are elevated, others forgotten. To practice virtue is to study the Tao and be a good human being. Virtue is the body and form of Tao (as light is to electricity,) therefore Tao and virtue cannot be separated. Don’t make god or Tao have physical form, it is a principle a theory, not a physical being. The mistake that people make is to try to name god as a human. Therefore they fear the god and fear the priests, they fear other humans. Life is joyful – happiness is the only purpose of life – not being grumpy about life is the practice. The more attached you are the less benefit you will gain. How can you play in the human life and preserve the innocent spirit of your life and enjoy it to the best it can be. If the chair is not comfortable, change chairs. -
Is ‘Dao’ more easily translated as ‘God’, or ‘Nature’?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Phoenix3's topic in Daoist Discussion
'Tao' is a Chinese word meaning 'way', 'way of Heaven', 'Path' or 'road' or 'method'. It indicates a line or principle of conduct. There is no proper English term for 'Tao'. It means the 'Eternal Being'. Tao is the first cause from which all substances take their origin and all phenomena flow. The great Tao is all-pervading. All things depend on it for life. It is the mother of all phenomena, of heaven and earth. It existed before the Personal God. It is the father of God. It is the producer of God. It is the originator of heaven and earth. It is the mother of all things. Laozi believed that females are the mothers of all things and all human beings. In accordance with Tao, which generates everything, females are those that produce all things. Without females or mothers, there is nothing else in the world. -
Is ‘Dao’ more easily translated as ‘God’, or ‘Nature’?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Phoenix3's topic in Daoist Discussion
I just had a conversation with god about the Tao. We came to an agreement that his sex and being personified and worshiped has done a lot of damage. He understands now that even gods depend on the Tao to exist. Soooo the compromise is that God is having a sex change and will be known as a goddess just like 2500 years ago. This goddess will love people and nurture all of humanity. It is not much but it is a start. -

I get it it was not funny. Unfortunately one side of my family were actual puritans landing in america and believe me in their eyes god hates you and we are all a piece of shit in gods eyes. I know that the puritans are an extreme off shoot but America did not celebrate Christmas or pagan holidays for a long time. -
Thoughts on past "supernatural" experience?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Raindancer's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Well you are already awesome. The Tao resonates with you. Return to simplicity, return to nature and it is fun to investigate things but do not allow others to get in your way. I am on my way out now but I do look forward to talking with you. see ya -
Thoughts on past "supernatural" experience?
Wu Ming Jen replied to Raindancer's topic in The Rabbit Hole
I have seen ball lightning it moves randomly and vanishes. My teaches always warn if we have any kind of supernatural visions or experience to wipe them out, we have no business, When people enter altered states it is damaging to development and leads people away from the true path. The goal is to simply become a better person so lightning shooting out of someones eyes or lighting a piece of paper on fire with your chi is a useless skill. Just more distractions, all of it IMO
