However, it must be noted that those techniques have a certain tendency, nowadays, to get mixed up with simple breathing techniques, so-called qigong (“breath work”) that are hugely popular in Taïwan and in Mainland China, and that are the object of numerous publications. This evolution tends to emphasize the physiological aspect of inner alchemy, that takes over the cosmological speculations and the spiritual and intellectual training, to the point of hiding them in some cases. That way, some publications that claim to be from inner alchemy do not differ anymore from qigong, about which it has to be recalled that it belongs more to the Chinese cultural background than to proper Taoism. But that is only the most visible tendency, that do not prevent some streams of pure inner alchemy to continue to exist. » Neidan life and death solving methods all abilities need to be abandoned as a distraction or further attachment of having a special skills, the attachment is the obstruction.and stops further progress, stunting one growth. “When one is enveloped in sitting meditation, one must gradually lead the Yang Spirit to come back in order to commence the great stability; the great calmness. Retrieve it back into the Cinnabar Field, unify it with the body, as well as complete the experiment of transcending the ordinary and entering sagehood. Shed the common body and enter pure Yang, being the foundation of higher cultivations. “ These are not metaphors or analogies. These are not just fantastical examples, but genuine verifications, true images and concretely existing sights. They are true manifestations and prospects. The immortal masters personally verified these strange and bizarre sceneries, truly extraordinary imagery. Cultivators who achieved this stage do not dare to tell others, outsiders, people who are outside the gate of Daoism, outside the sects of Daoism. These are not things that normal people could comprehend, because all the images and sounds that extraordinary people can perceive and hear are too precious and too rare.
  5. The Ten Thousand Ways of Nei Kung

Some have been translated into english, commentary can be hit or miss. I meant to write scriptures plural from the list provided to authenticate experience. This is one method out of ten thousand “Thoughts about birth-old age-illness-death; Longevity, eternal life, immortality; Realization of the Dao, awakening to the Dao; the thought of unification with the higher self; Abandon all of them!” . Utmost stillness is its chief aim. Return to the void and enter concentration and deep meditation. Wipe out the three heart-minds: the past, the present and the future altogether. Extinguish completely the four appearances: birth-old age- illness and death, the fate of humankind and the four miseries in human life. After having waited for the heart-mind ‘s character to be tranquil and one’s nature being clear and cool, unrestrained, and comfortable, pure and tranquil, clear and still like the heavens, concentrate the Spirit and enter deep meditation. Be absorbed in absent-mindedness long term, not interrupted for one instant. One heart-mind replaces the ten thousand thoughts, count own breath, follow the frequency of the breath exiting and entering, one opening- one closing, one ascending- one descending, It is exactly the mechanism of one inhale and one exhale. The Spirit is preserved and gathered the Qi-Point, the inhale and exhale of Qi as if preserving non-existence and safeguarding existence:
  6. The Ten Thousand Ways of Nei Kung

The origin of the Dao is based on a single principle and its methods are divided into three categories called primes: heavenly prime, earthly prime and humanly prime. Each of these three primes is further divided into three levels also referred to as three achievements: the initial achievement, the intermediate achievement and the high achievement. Therefore there is nine different ranks in total that are applied by the various internal alchemy schools. Consequently the internal alchemy scriptures can also be categorized according to the three primes. The heavenly prime scriptures deal with the great elixir, the earthly prime scriptures with the spirit elixir, the humanly prime with the golden elixir. In conclusion, the initial achievement could be compared to the first grade in school, the intermediate achievement to the second grade, and the high achievement to the third and final grade. Every grade requires graduation before one progresses to the next stage. All of the three primes are considered great internal alchemy paths, including all three elixirs: the great elixir, the spirit elixir and the golden elixir. The heavenly prime is about tempering and disciplining one’s nature and innate character and grasping one’s life-destiny. The earthly prime seizes the cinnabar sand and generates mercury. i.e. external alchemy, the humanly prime gets rid of the old and creates the new. The heavenly prime classics (explaining purity, stillness, refinement and temptations): 《Jin Dan Xin Fa》, 《Xing Ming Gui Zhi》, 《Tian Xian Zheng Li》, 《Xian》Fo He Zong》, 《Jin Xian Zheng Lun》《Hui Ming Jing》and so on. The humanly Prime (clarifying the cultivation of Yin and Yang): The 《Jin Dan Zhen Chuan》,《Xing Dao Ya Yan》,《Xuan Yao Pian》,《Qiao Yao Ge》and so on. The earthly prime classics (concerning the refinement of lead and cinnabar): 《Huang Di Jiu Ding》,《Tai Qing Dan Jing》,《Di Yuan Zhen Jue》,《Cheng Zhi Lu 》,《Yu Zhuang Lu》 and so on. The 《Dao De Jing》 and the《Yin Fu Jing》 belong to all three primes at the same time. The 《Wu Zhen Pian》and the《Can Tong Qi》 also express ideas of the three primes simultaneously, with an emphasis on the humanly prime. The 《Long Hu Jing》 and the《Shi Han Ji》 also deal with the three primes, with a stress on the earthly prime. The sages of the future will thus be able to get a look at these scriptures in order to attain the Dao. The accomplishing of the Dao is divided into three primes and although the original principles are consistent, many people will not make it to the end and get lost in confusion. One has to know the internal Alchemy Scriptures and Daoist books even though there is so many of them. Except for these three primes being based on the same principle of the pre-heaven Great Dao, all other methods are outside the Dao and crooked side paths. They are all delusional, side doors, and have nothing to do with the Great Dao. Since I feel sorry for the younger students now, I point towards the true meaning of the scriptures by making a list as above of the Internal Alchemy classics which have been transmitted by immortals, Buddhas and patriarchs of the past. I wish that all benevolent people everywhere in the world who aspire to reach the Dao get to meet masters who transmit the truth to them. If one relies on the past to verify the present and confirms all points from beginning to end, then one will not stray onto the crooked path. But the points of reference have to be identical from top to bottom. In addition, this scripture’s aim is to make the student observe the past to examine the present and distinguish the real from the fake. Bear in mind that one’s study determines one’s destination and outcome. After having read this scripture, the true and false can be immediately discriminated and one’s direction can be set in stone. If one follows this without fail, one’s path will never become the crooked. Wicked theories are all just delusions.
  7. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

Long men pai nei gong and mo pai...... funny title. One pai can be deliciously savored and provide all health benefits and enjoyment necessary, the other pie in the face is just funny. It's kind of like a bad satire movie. You know the movie is bad but we keep watching for "what will happen next", "It can't get any worse". but it does.
  8. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

I will share a personal story kind of on topic. My son meet a girl who is having heart problems and she was wearing two devices to monitor her heart rate. She can clock in at a dangerous level of 118. I asked her if I could check it out. When she gave me the wrist thing I asked her what do you want it to say. She said normal range so I made it say 80 then I said I would show it high and achieved the results of 120. The second time I performed the same test but the high reading was in the 1000 and she said wait that can not be right you broke it. It did work just fine afterwards I showed her how to control her heart rate with Taoist breathing giving all technical details. within two minutes her heart rate was 72 and she burst out laughing. No magic, no great ability on my part, she is not a student or disciple of mine. so the moral of this story is any scientific study does not = any kind of specialness or ability it's all just basic stuff with a little proper training and time devoted to the practice. It is when this kind of thing is being sold to others and making someones ability seem like greatness that is a problem
  9. How would you define your country ?

I do not have a country maybe someday I could answer this question. If I did identify myself with a country it would be the best.
  10. Spiritual Systems

Thank you, I have it off now.
  11. Spiritual Systems

Angry job makes love universal, pre determined pattern reproduction hopefully faster. Pattern of mine progress evolve to the point, note the sensation, defining factor lost my savings at a casino had a teenage tantrum. Belly change therapeutic like a good massage, anger, anger, anger quick magic anger was not there, My quote button seems to be gathering words from this page and arranging them in a peculiar ways.
  12. Trolling

Trolling is the wrong attitude, the wrong concentration, and the wrong livelihood. I can be square or round at will, no terms define me. why be this or that seems limiting. I must say you did not troll me back and took the higher ground for this I commend you, good job.
  13. Hello all.

Hot from the Oven, Hello, It sounds like you are and have always been a Taoist. Please discard the distraction of marble head being Trolled, Whats Up? There are always be those that will crusade to protect their beliefs instead of shattering reality and merge with open space.
  14. Temple style Taiji Quan

I am all about Temple style I know it is authentic it is only when certain people try to graft on without an actual linage or permission it goes south fast IMO. Spit and swallow should be in all systems of Tai Chi Chuan. The technique of ward off and roll back work together build up the resistance pretend to have resistance and follow the force by taking it away (roll back is moving force backwards and down, can look like anything) and allowing it to go where it is intended, we just disappear it is really just fooling someone . that's good chess. Cheng Man Ching was also friend to my Master Jou Tsung Hwa one of my fist teachers and I learned the form along with Chen, Yang and Wu. I just stuck with Yang and the short form (Cheng Man Ching) in the beginning.
  15. Trolling

Another disturbing video now of a pretend game. Who did you play "with" in this game? did they learn a valuable life lesson in play or just the worst of humanity to pass on to your kids. 90% of success is being there I just hope you are not all alone in this kind of play, that would be too sad. Distraction from reality if that is the message then I can understand completely. Now since this is a trolling thread I would be happy to take my gloves off, like attracts like, are you ready for this?
  16. Wudangs strategy is to fend off hard attacks with soft movements, defeat the strong in a yielding way, confront the active with stillness, beat the fast in a slow manner and strike out only after an opponent has struck first. It emphasizes defense rather than offense. This is because Taoism promotes peace and harmony, rather than conflict; so Wudang kung fu is meant for protection, not destruction. Wudang kung fu has three main styles, namely, baguazhang, Tai Chi Chuan and xingyiquan. Baguazhang, literally “Eight Trigram Palm,” is named after the trigrams of “I Ching” or “Classic of Changes,” an ancient Chinese divination text and one of the key ideological foundations of Taoism. Circle walking is the customary movement of Baguazhang. Also a formidable martial art used by the bodyguards of the imperial palace and trade route protection, key skill, multiple opponents.. Tai Chi Chuan combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation and deep breathing. It is today chiefly a mind-body practice to help treat or prevent health problems, as well as delay aging. When practiced as a martial art it's like getting a degree at Oxford, Harvard or Yale Xingyiquan, which translates literally to “Shape-will Boxing,” is the oldest of the Wudang internal martial arts. It concentrates on the mind and the shape of the body, rather than physical strength and heavy handed force. It is primarily composed of five basic fist movements, all exercised at short range. Some documents indicate that xingyiquan was created in imitation of the fighting techniques and spirit of 12 animals — such as the tiger, monkey, snake, eagle, horse and bear — to tap into the natural instincts and fighting abilities those animals possess. After many years of family style Tai Chi Chuan which developed a great foundation for myself I also had a calling to WuDang Style. I met Master Chen a prodigy of wudang mountain, a Taoist priest. He did a weekend seminar where I live and I continued to study with him as much as possible. His profound influence encouraged me to go to Wudang and continue my practice in China as well as here in the USA. Master Bing is now in the USA as well from WuDang Shen. Know you know toooo much about me and the expression of my Tai Chi style..

  18. Grandmaster Chiang Yunchung: shows traditional stepping methods of walking on air or rootedness in motion even when the foot is not touching the ground. The foot work also applies to leg traps and using the legs to bump someone of balance. One form I practice has a cross kick to break the knee and body structure and then lift kick with opposite foot trapping the other leg of the opponent and lifting over our head. (This is one kick combo is practiced and drilled 10,000 times but not safe to practice on another person unless slow and just touching the knee of one leg and not raising your leg all the way up after trapping the other leg so no one falls over and gets hurt.) The forms I currently do have very traditional stepping/ immortal stepping. Taiyi Wuxing Quan demonstrates this type of stepping with a trap, brush, bump, change in direction and kick simultaneously.

  20. Nei Jing Tu

According to records, this diagram, which first appeared during the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368), had a significant impact on the Chinese Taoist culture for the next several hundred years. Over the centuries, it has been well guarded, retained in the private custody of the innermost lineage holders of the Longmen School of Internal Alchemy. In recent years, documents have revealed that a color painting of the diagram once existed in the collection of one of the Emperors of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). As an etching in stone, the Nei Jing Tu exists today in two places in the world: the White Cloud Temple in Beijing, and Wu Dang Mountain in Hubei Province. In the lower part, a boy and a girl who represent Yin and Yang are working on a treadmill placed in the Caudal Funnel (weilü), at the bottom of the spine. (Yin Yang fall in love) Inverting the stream of energy (actually the jing or Essence, depicted by the water course along the spine),{Cause what floats, mercury, Acquired consciousness to sink and what sinks, lead, the shining mind original mind to float) they avoid that it flows downwards and is wasted. (With the Spinal Handle and the Jade Pillow mentioned below, the Caudal Funnel is one of the Three Barriers or sanguan.) Water thus turns into a fiery furnace, which heats the lower Cinnabar Field placed near the four Yin-Yang symbols; these stand for the four external agents (Wood, Fire, Metal, Water), with the fifth one (the central Soil) represented by their conjunction. On the left of the Cinnabar Field is the "iron buffalo ploughing the earth and planting the golden coin," an image of the first seed of the Golden Elixir. At the center is the middle Cinnabar Field, shaped as a spiral and located in the region of the heart. Just above it is the Herd Boy, who holds the constellation of the Northern Dipper, a symbol of the center of the cosmos. According to a famous Chinese story, the Herd Boy (corresponding to the constellation Altair) only once a year can meet and conjoin with the Weaving Girl (corresponding to Vega), who is pictured below him. At the level of the Weaving Girl, along the spine, is the Spinal Handle. The upper part of the picture represents the upper Cinnabar Field. Above and behind the Twelve-storied Pavilion (the trachea), is the Jade Pillow. Behind the mountains, on the left, the Control vessel (dumai, which runs on the back of the body) emerges; the old man sitting next to it is Laozi. Below the Control vessel, the Function vessel (renmai, which runs on the front of the body) begins; the monk standing with raised arms next to it is Bodhidharma (who, according to tradition, brought Chan Buddhism to China). The two dots stand for the eyes, and represent the Sun and Moon. This being my linage I may be able to shed some light on specific questions.
  21. Where men are men and goats are nervous, noo ooo o, noo oo o Netherland Women are directly responsible for all the gnomes. It has been shown now that when a human mates with a woman from the netherlands the kids are absolutely beautiful. In other news Jamaica is being overrun with men chasing goats. exciting new findings confusion regarding the evolutionary relationships between modern humans, Neanderthals, and Denisovans. We actually get the picture, they all liked to have sex with each other.
  22. Trolling

Playing is high skill to me. Family first is extremely noble. I would much rather play life then life playing me. We can learn a lot from the high skill of silent thunder maybe reflect on how practice can be an added value feature of living a good life instead of a distraction..
  23. Chinese Bones

Thats a superior price are you going to trade in the bugatti? You could get 4 ripsaws. I live in a rural area with miles of off road trails and un maintained class 4 roads accessed from my house. The ripsaw is a bit overkill for my trails so the side by side utv does just fine. These trading routes are used mainly by animals so lots of deer and black bears. The black bears keep stealing my trash cans and bring them into the woods for a bite to eat. One night our cat brought us a present, a squirrel located right outside the front door which I stepped on .I picked it up and threw it of the deck hitting a deer in the yard by accident. This week my sister was visiting staying in the downstairs bedroom and there was a baby brown bunny in here room from leaving the doors open. I could not believe she shut the door and went to sleep. She said to me A baby bunny is not going to hurt me. I am going severely off topic but the influence of trading routes or trails around me have a direct impact it is just when the bears are on the deck that's not so cool with me.
