Dualism, on the surface, seems to be an adequate representation of reality. It’s the easiest one to grasp. Every philosophy and religion from Hinduism to Buddhism to Christianity has drawn on dualism in some way. The Tao tells us that the way to transcend dualism is to understand that these concepts aren’t opposites. They aren’t in opposition. They are in cahoots — two sides of the same coin, rather than two opposing coins. we’re experiencing these fused “opposites” at all times and can direct our attention to this. Only lao Tzu has ultimate reality and ultimate creation as the same thing IE sound comes from no sound. All other traditions has god as a creator. Where creation comes from and that which gods depend on to exists is not answered in other traditions. The Tao has a clear explanation.

The philosophical difference is ultimate reality and ultimate creation are the same thing in Taoism. Enlightenment the term is not used in Taoism same as the term reincarnation. Enlightenment the term means to end suffering look it up I am not talking about a belief system or what one wishes to believe.

Enlightenment (Buddhist} is a way to overcome suffering and not have a shitty life. it is not merging with the source of creation it relies on a personal god for that job and not required to reach that level of being only reaching nirvana is the goal. AKA a wonderful living life. Taoism one needs to become immortal while alive and to merge with the Tao the source of all creation. The goal take over creation and live in and outside of yin and yang at the same time. AKA have a wonderful life and live the source of non existence (no body\ eternity ) at the same time. When we know the source Tao all is well if we do not know Tao we work our own ruin.

Emptiness (ç©ş) is Nothing. Void (ć— ) is Everything and Nothing. Some thing comes from no thing they are one and the same. Being full or empty rely on each other. The division starts with mind. Mind creates division. Being, not being nothing has changed. We come from no thing and return to no thing. There is simply nothing to know. The knowing mind needs to know where knowing comes from and then that becomes the boss of the knowing mind.

"The foundation", jing, semen, blood and standing meditation
Wu Ming Jen replied to Nuralshamal's topic in Systems and Teachers of
Circulating the breath, inseparably coordinated with the dan tian sticking out and sinking in. In many ways, (it) is partial to a great extent of winding, coiling, twisting, and turning and to pushing down the breath, raising the breath, sinking the breath, and sending out the breath during the course of the inside and outside movements. This causes the expansion and contraction of the arteries and lymph to become gentle, preserving the elasticity of the blood vessels and lymph, strengthening the unimpeded and unobstructed circulation through the blood vessels supporting lymph metabolism. At the same time, the response of the sympathetic nerves during practice becomes more gentle, and the response of the parasympathetic nerves is strengthened; thus changing the abnormal reports received by the organism and urging the blood vessels to circulate normally. Consequently, refining and cultivating China’s Wudang Daoist Qigong can postpone cardiovascular aging and result in positive effects. Controlling breath is important in martial arts, and all exercise in general. Holding your breath is the opposite of that. -
Hi Mungo, Welcome to our humble abode. This is not my house but I visit often even silently, What's on you mind if you don't mind minding to tell, please tell us a story about you.

On fate, destiny, cosmic lessons, and the "don't know mind"
Wu Ming Jen replied to TranquilTurmoil's topic in General Discussion
Turn the light around. The light is inside. The outside world is pliable inside and outside match. The infinite spirit inside all of us is working for the benefit of all things. When the outside world is allowed by ourselves to define us it is full of hardship, unfortunate events, internal storms, fires and floods. We come from the unknown and return to the unknow. The knowing mind is a thief stealing and warping reality. The infinite spirit turns this mind into an employee to work for the greater good. This knowing mind knows in every way that it is not the boss. -
"The foundation", jing, semen, blood and standing meditation

Nothing is absolute. If someone was drowning in blood and seamen with not enough tears to keep them afloat the need to stop breathing might be a good idea. I practice holding my breath cleaning the cats litter box once a week. Not sure if this counts for a cultivation technique but it is very powerful and allows me to do a task in a much more pleasant way. If anyone is waiting for the punch line.....don't hold your breath -

Taoist breathing helps to spread more oxygen throughout the body, which assists in better functioning of different body parts. More amount of oxygen reaches your tissues and cells that make your immune system stronger. The process helps to get rid of harmful bacteria and viruses. There is no breath retention or holding breath involved. Mixing pre heaven and post heaven energy with breath must be a smooth effortless flow that one can not hear. The rising and sinking, breathing in and out, yin and yang in balance and harmony. -
Recent Discoveries About Mao Shan Energy Work and Magic
Wu Ming Jen replied to ThunderWizardDotcom's topic in Systems and Teachers of
Correct teaching engages the pre heaven spirit that can not be made more or less pure to come back into consciousness. This is your Devine eternal sprit... the immortal. When one engages their post heaven or acquired spirit in practice this will lead to corruption and not have the ability to become immortal during life. -
Everyone is different. Stick to the classics as freeform suggest. You are the possibility and only you know if it is positive or negative to ones own life. Stats maybe good for the OP (your own progress) but will stagnate and create obstacles for others to achieve growth.

Could someone explain the Buddhist belief system to me?
Wu Ming Jen replied to DreamBliss's topic in Buddhist Discussion
Maybe I can help..... Buddhism, life is suffering, You get to be reincarnated if you screw everything up, no creation story so a God is necessary even if you steal it from a foreigner source. The best possible outcome is that you become Taoist. Life is heath, wealth and happiness, don't be lazy and reach heaven when you are alive. We all come from no thing and return. At the same time we never left anywhere. The best part, no speculation or made up stories that keep you a mortal until you die. Now that is liberating. IMO this is completely biased even if it is the same story being told Buddhist or Taoist -
I find the humor with the tag line mature conversation. So I was celibate for 13 years and then I turned 14. My girl friend wouldn't stroke it so I had to. I contracted my pc and went into retrograde but thankfully I did not contract something I would need to see a doctor about, you know the itching and burning feeling. It is a long story on the internet with strangers but spoiler alert Romeo dies in the end. Feel free to fill in the middle of the story being without a partner. Who knows the happy ending could change.

To me the I ching describes how energy works so a given situation has a direction which can change. The power is listening to the stingless sound of energy in our daily lives. Manifesting reality we do all the time the i ching allows us to be warned and change course or set the course and excel with the least amount of resistance to obtain our goals. There is an amazing amount of good advice with each situation described in the I ching. High gong benefits humanity

Variances in energy bodies based on lineages
Wu Ming Jen replied to David W's topic in Systems and Teachers of
The one undivided energy, spirit, light, lots of names for the nameless that we are born with. The acquired spirit after birth which is a fake identity and not the boss takes over power divides this one energy and mind becomes divided giving us a warped view of ultimate reality. The fake identity does not want to lose power. Alchemy reverses this. proper order is original sprit is the host, acquired spirit is the guest. Most forget and do not know they have an original spirit before they were born. -
Variances in energy bodies based on lineages
Wu Ming Jen replied to David W's topic in Systems and Teachers of
The unborn sprit resides in us not built. The alchemy is to remember our true self and reconnect after having a body. We come from no thing and return to no thing, omni presence. There is no specific point or place to return to so called "after death". Without a physical body there is no reference point to location, inside or outside. The subtle spiritual body is formless with no shape, color or form. Being alive we have never left or gone anywhere. -
Is life long celibacy even possible ???
Wu Ming Jen replied to Loveherbs's topic in Daoist Discussion
The bed chamber is internal without location the meeting of yin and yang to give birth to higher being, well being. One can become monk or priest and have a family no problem. Mind can have many obstacles that we fabricate to prevent our journey to be better people. So we can see no sex can be just as damaging as too much sex. celibacy is a natural occurrence not mind driven. I was celibate for 13 years then I turned 14 -

tai chi that allows you to see into the astral
Wu Ming Jen replied to blackdragon's topic in Daoist Discussion
After eating bacon shift your head, tilt backwards so you can see the sky. Tai chi has may names for this movement But if you see things with your eyes that ordinary people do not see it would be better to enroll in an insane asylum to get the help you need. Basic Tai Chi Chuan rule of thumb is "seeing without seeing is truly seeing." When you break the principles and guidelines one is instantly lost and will become sick that no medicine can cure. -
For ultimate power I do 5 pushups a day. I run a 1/2 mile every day! Even when my body is sore and my mind gives up I keep on going! After meditating for a few seconds and my body is sore and my mind is distracted I never give up! I push on and meditate the other second no matter what! Also become vegan is important one will become exhausted more quickly but never give up! keep on going! the struggle is real. Also after these incredible hard and exhausting work out techniques it is important to sit on the couch, watch shows about other peoples lives and play video games for at least 12 hours a day...with sleep of course. Good luck!

Wow I just read the disclaimer in the fist post of luxin. My concern is definitely gone because if anyone has a 6800 year old soul so does everyone else. I was stupid to fall for the TRAP.
