  2. return to simplicity

Simplicity is treasured in the Tao. "The Tao follows nature" is a good translation and a basic definition of zi ran. It is also more meaningful. The phrase tells us that the functioning of the Tao must always be consistent with natural laws and universal principles. Miracles in the Tao are not impossibilities resulting from supernatural intervention. Instead, they are achievements within reach of human beings who understand how to work with nature rather than against it.
  3. return to simplicity

Beautiful poems, songs and words thank you. I am a Thomas Cleary fan for the English translations Vitality Energy and Spirit is one my favorites.
  4. return to simplicity

Such a peaceful topic when we return to simplicity does not leave a lot for discussion. The tao is easy and relaxed that is when it is the most fun. To truly unite we lose ourselves in ecstasy. words melt away and communication is open and unrestrained. Feeling mind and body, spontaneous, no agenda, uncontrived, Yin and Yang melt together and give birth to the dance of life unfolding like a flower not forced to bloom the sweet nectar drips filling the empty and emptying the full.
  5. Wuliupai school

Perfect man Wu Chung-xu (Shou-yang) was initially from the Dragon Gate Perfect Truth school (LongMenPai) of 7 generations: The Head of The School Wu Chung-Xu has explained in detail the general principles of different teachings in his book "Common Teachings of Immortals and Buddhas", the truth of “the 3 teachings returning to their unity". Methods of WuLiuPai School took the major Buddhist works such as “金刚经”, “楞 严 经”, “华严经” and others, combined them with the works of perfect people in each school of Taoism, fused it into a single system, created the original School Dragon gate Teaching of Perfect Truth of Taoism. So the WuLiuPai School does not fully belong to Dragon Gates school now. the WuLiuPai school, separate from the LongMenPai. Since the establishment of the school have passed more than 400 years, it has received extensive development and continues unabated. And still its foundation is strong, and successes are numerous, the number of Tao practitioners in our school is large. Main goal of WuLiuPai School - a way of perfection and confirmation by your own experience of becoming a Buddha or Immortal,
  6. The origin of mankind

    That is awesome.
  7. The origin of mankind

The origin of mankind came from my mom and dad (heaven and earth) It took a while for me to get here I had to wait for the building blocks and less complicated life forms to establish themselves before I could arrive. I am the most complex living organism on earth and not the last. I can be steady as a rock or fierce as a tiger I am everything I see and see without seeing. We never left the origin that's why we're here.
  8. Oh, hello there! Ok. Welp, see ya later.

bbdoll, You sound like a Taoist. Secret of the golden flower is a great suggestion as well as the Tao Te Ching for reading. Physical traditions like yoga or Tai Chi Chuan can have benefits for anxiety that's a tough one and can pass in time. maintain hydration, electrolytes rock for anxiety and remember you are always home even in a distant land. let the sky be your roof and the earth be your floor and you will never need walls.
  9. What is the deal with Coincidences?

Coincidence Its magic and awesome we could break it down into parts but that would still leave some unknown ingredients. law of attraction is cool and maybe an ingredient. Put it out to the universe and play see what you can manifest into reality.
  10. What do you guys think of this tai chi video?

Turn the waist over the weighted and rooted leg. Emptied leg / foot should turn with you so the knee is centered over the bubbling well of the empty foot.then the weight can be placed to change direction or knee, kick, whatever The waist is like a large gear that moves the smaller gears. If we talk about the energetic properties of proper body mechanics and how the root, resistance can create force and lead chi to any part of the body we are dealing with neijin the application of creating force or manipulating, interrupt, borrow, swallow, force of another.
  11. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?

Falun Gong or Falun Dafa deemed to undermine communist party in early 2000,s began a brutal crackdown on the practice making the practice illegal.
  12. return to simplicity

If you are able to meditate, to leave your stressful life, return to original simplicity and reconnect with the root of the Tao; If you can find stillness and joy, then you have a chance to balance your body and your spirit. If you're free of illness and are natural like an infant you can let your body and spirit unite with the cosmos as one and achieve the stage of the void. In this stage motion comes out of the stillness. Yang Qi is born and creates preheaven qi, opening up your intuitive energy, the micro cosmic orbit smooths and forms the sprout of the elixir which eventually leads to the formation of the seed of Immortality. This is what internal alchemy describes as transmuting Jing to Qi, transmuting Qi to Shen, returning Shen to the void and uniting the void with the Tao.
  13. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?

I don't think anyone considers buddha a hindu but the roots of this discussion reincarnation are found in hindu and buddhist teachings. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory we end up talking about buddhism or the hindu religion. Reincarnation is a topic banned from chinese tv.

  15. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?

The many souls of the body makes it unlikely to reincarnate a personality. We return to Tao without image there is no need to speculate, the unknown. What causes this need to know. It is because mind has separated seeing beginnings and ends. many people fear death but when death is at their door step it can not happen soon enough. We never left any thing when we are born. We are looking in the wrong direction with reincarnation. We can go through the door of death and go along with things or we can turn around and go through the door of life making speculation unnecessary. I have never had a teacher of immortality ever even say the word reincarnation as apart of Taoist teaching. I do not know why it is considered Taoist teachings. Its all good and does not matter to me but in my personal experience this is a Buddhist teaching from the roots of Hindu that think there are two worlds.
  16. Absolutes

Where is the contradiction? science has gone so out of the way to prove absolutes. Here is one... we build a death chamber that no human can survive to prove absolute darkness but yet protons easily pass through and give off light. Even if we try to create the conditions for absolutes to be true it fails.
  17. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?

I like what you posted. The difference is now vs some preconceived notion of afterlife. we can benefit all humanity and be a role model to other humans. Most role models today have excessive wealth and have unnatural behaviors but this does not help humans but harms them creating desires of things unnecessary for survival.
  18. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?

Immortality, confusing transmutation as reincarnation turning the base self to a higher self being a better person is done living as we are taught are lessons. No room for gross unnatural behaviors like the gross things you have mentioned. Why war vets have shell shock pstd because it is unnatural behavior. when we discover our true selves we discover what is natural with out poison thoughts and behaviors found in others.
  19. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?

There are two schools you can be a hermit or you can live in society get married have kids, drink. The wudang clan of the latter like to party in moderation. No belief systems or reincarnation in either school you choose. Science only proves yin yang theory and should be obvious it is OBSERVATION when you get into it. the logic is that we experience it everyday. Western science can not accept something experienced if it can not be measured. To find meaning in life is a duality, that should be eliminated. Here are the Taoist precepts health, wealth and happiness. no mention of suffering is that weird?
  20. Many ancient texts and stories were used in writing the bible so some of it should sound familiar to those who practice much older traditions. The problem is the church went to great lengths of unholy acts to wipe out the older traditions this is where things get very dark and disturbing. personally I have no interest in watering this plant.
  21. Neidan on the rise in the west?

A historic Chinese tale conveys its message to you by way of strange characters and exciting plots. Talking animals, magic, imaginary beings, dragons, and ghosts are just a few of the elements that may be used to deliver a lesson within the plot of a historic Chinese story. It is not unusual for a talking dragon or another creature to give you an escorted tour through a Chinese legend. In Wudang Kungfu there are a lot of lineages and back at its peak time their number counted up to more than 80 lineages. Lineages, sects, school or styles, in chinese ‘pai’ or ‘men’, have different sizes, meanings and reasons why they were created. Some are very big like our school’s main lineage the longmen pai – dragongate lineage – which is by far the biggest in whole china and around 70% of the daoist monks on mt. wudang derive from this lineage. In the family tree of the lineages the dragongate lineage is the trunk while other lineages like the chunyang pai are branches of the same tree. Many things are lost now and today some of the smaller lineages consist only of a few things teached within them. Most of them died out or were interrupted for a long time.
  22. So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?

Reincarnation is a buddhist thing. If that is your truth go for it. A few people believe in God and heaven the exclusive club members only if that is your truth go for it. The Tao is simply logical. There’s no mysticism or need for invisible sky gods or some weird belief that you’re important enough to be reincarnated – you simply return to the Tao when you die. And you’re already there anyway, so what’s the big deal? In Taoism death is neither feared nor desired instead a person enjoys living. Since life and death are each other’s companions, why worry about them? All beings are one. A person is eternal in their own life. A recurring theme happens with taoist thought LIVING we can not contemplate death if we are not alive . Speculation of after life is a waste of time unless one can profit or have advantage and those thoughts of profit and advantage are so stuck in the mud the person has not yet experienced life IMO.
  23. Absolutes

There are two days a year we can do nothing they are called yesterday and tomorrow. moving back and forth right and left, up and down all at the same time, I do this physically so the universe has to be the same or I would only be able to move liner and in one direction.
  24. Absolutes

I have heard of Absolute Vodka and I have studied Greek philosophy who thought there are absolutes but nature kept proving them wrong maybe that is why they had stars in their eyes hoping there was another world above ours. When physics come into play its all about dead matter and not intelligent force that can move a thousand pounds with four ounces.
  25. Ghost immortality

Ghost Immortal = living dead, caught in the material realm knowing nothing of spirit, the unformed, where they came from and return. Ghost are not free thinkers they must be told what to do this is why they are possessed by others thoughts and beliefs. Someone who would actual vote for trump could be considered the living dead, there are many and nothing even worth discussing. In the context of immortality these are very low beings.
