Well Sir, I don't think generating internal conflict is that which is being promoted either..quite the contrary, I would agree. Lets say BKA goes ahead and does the island sitting or buying. Maybe she has been seeing this perhaps as really ideal..ok , then what happens , the dream is made true, you can call it a goal met, and she doesn't have to chase other dreams until she gets bored. If she made peace with whatever she is doing currently she wouldn't need to sit on an island and when she got bored she could hop on a bus and go to the zoo. The island situation would just enforce a limitation on herself. Her possibilities would dwindle down to eating pooping washing and staring at water for the most part, which she could probably do in an apartment in San Diego. On the island she had better come to a satisfied state fast and stay there. Yeah I'm not a trusting person , nor do I find anybody being trusting of me , although I don't think I have ever been unreliable. I either don't commit or , come hell or high water, I am on it. Actually for me personally ,a quiet island in the middle of nowhere and a few amenities would suit me just fine, as you already know , (I am just not all that social of a creature by nature)

Good you put them away to be available for better use. In that other thread where you talked about an island I was going to say that I would lend you the money to buy it but we don't know each other well enough yet. Hehehe. But I didn't because I don't have that kind of money and wouldn't be able to get access to it via any financial institution. Sure, some people win the lottery. Good for them. I hope they find the happiness they were looking for that inspired them to buy a ticket. Unrealistic dreams? Sure. There are such things. Dreaming of flying without artifical means would be one. Now wait - yes, we can fly with our mind, but that is different. We can dream we are a butterfly. Yep. Chuang Tzu. But he woke up. Sure, he even wondered about it after waking. But I'm sure at some point he had to stop wondering and become Chuang Tzu again else he would not have been able to write his book.

I guess it is only fair that I post mine . I didn't want to do it in the first post, or the thread would be more about BKA's dreams than other people sharing.... Basically I did a vision quest about 12 years ago, and was told my life purpose. Then I performed the Abramelin operation and united with my HGA, and was REMINDED (lol!) of my life purpose, and also given a lot more detail. I have always tried to work towards this. My HGA likes to kick my but in that direction when I slack. I always have to be careful to balance the wanting the dreams expressed through my true will, versus getting too wuwei and doing nothing (I can fall into that if not careful) and no moving forward. I did ask the powers that be for a vacation one year, and I did get a year off of continual growth, advancement, improvement and etc. It was actually kind of nice . Basically for dreams, my spiritual/magical path is, and has always been my number 1 priority. For example I tend to rent 2 bedroom apartments so I have a practice room. Or just figure it out another way if I don't have the extra spac. It has always been giving top priority though. Then there is my martial arts, this comes a close second . I am very fortunate to be training in the way I asked for/most desired, and with the system which is by far the best match for me. So my dreams for the future are to follow my true will, which involves teaching, as well as reminding others of their true self. This has always come in many different and surprising ways, often in ways that I would never have guessed would lead to the above lol. My long-term and still current dream is to lead retreats to accomplish the above. However it has not quite manifested in that way yet (though it has been confirmed twice that this is the eventual goal). There's also that dream to teach Bagua, but I will just see if that is in my cards in the future or not. Well OK I already teach it, but I mean fully and properly teaching it. I would also like to travel more . To me our dreams are what our heart and higher self call us to do. Wants are more what our mind thinks hey this wold be fun.

It would seem to me- as a thought one could have .... that entertaining dreams is just peachy, and pursuing dreams is worthwhile , rewarding -ummm ,, and though I am not saying whether thats all true or not ,, it doesnt sound much like living in the present moment , nor does it sound much like wei wu wei, nor does it sound like the shrugging off of attachments and judgements. It sounds more like the conventional mindset which one would entertain in contradiction to the tao of Lao. IMO but by all means , do and dream as you see fit because the person who lives your life and the only proper judge of it would be you.

Sex on an airplane dream? That's a subject for Jungian analysis ! But having a wishful and hopeful desire to have sex on an airplane ... and achieving it ... Nah! Not for me (unless it was a private Lear Jet or something). Sex with an airplane ? Now ya talking! That's more like it. Actually I did have a very strange occurrence on an airplane but off topic here ( probably the opposite of this thread topic actually)

Funny. I never had to deal with the "The grass is always greener on the other side" problem. No idea why. Oh, sure, I had many dreams when I was younger. Did they really matter or make a difference in my life? I have no idea. To know when one has enough. That's a dream worth attaining. I never had sex on an airplane though. Just a dream.

Awesome post, and most definitely welcome . I think reflections about dreams in general are just as important (perhaps more?) than the dreams themselves. It is always good to see things from different perspectives. I have noticed the grass is greener thing as well when you spend time with one dream, then you think oh I would love the opposite now.

Ha! I was still invincible <flexes> until the third motorcycle accident and that big guy in the martial arts tournament Yes ... I suppose so as I am still in awe ... its probably good to be in awe of ones life. Eh? you might have to ask that in different words ... I both ; got more than I dreamed (in some areas) and not 'enough' of what I dreamed in others. On speculation I guess its like initiation ... or being led into the mythic ... as things that were great also happened that I never dreamed of ... in retrospect , if I had known I would have dreamed and hoped to do them as well. Sometimes, with the mythic world, we strive for it, we follow something (like a magic deer) and end up somewhere fantastic, we just stumble upon it ( the magic forest clearing, the abandoned overgrown castle, or fall down a 'rabbit hole'; all different ways. Yep that was dream too - martial arts ... although too lazy for the 'be like Bruce Lee' dream ( ahah I found a false dream ! To dream to be like another ... agree? ) seriously ... I am happy ... and content , many people think I am bullshitting about that. I must confess I don't make a very good Buddhist ... that suffering and sorrow stuff ... the' trance of Binah' IMO ... its fine .. all PART of it... but one can go further It not only makes sense its relevant to me ... but hey! I'm 'retired' (been retired since 1975 ) Yep .. that's it ! I don't even know what a PFF is seriously ... I have MANY dreams. They change over time of course. Previously they were all a mish-mash of ego wish fulfilment and humanitarian fantasies. Of course, back then, I thought I was very wise and knew what was best – for just about everyone. Ahhh … youth , testosterone and self-assurance! When my dreams came true they were often little occurrences and events that may or may not have seemed significant at the time, but then , when vision expanded they became parts of a whole, fulfilling many dreams I have had … both ‘mundane’ and significant of a life’s ‘work, path, dharma true will’. So I, being very Neptunian and dreaming a lot … and also being fortunate enough to have balancing and ground natal aspects as well, had many dreams fulfilled which has given me, what some tell me, is a very full and rich life. I believe that sort of thing is relative as I see and know many people that have a life SO rich and full and diverse it blows me away. I can say; I have hardly travelled, I have never had children, I have not … blah blah … but again … Dharma. I’m not sure I would change anything or ‘fiddle with the formulae ‘ if I had a chance. I would often dream about having the money to do …. But no … that doesn’t seem to work … yet. But I would often get the thing , or some form of the thing, that I wanted to buy with the money I wanted … good, as it stopped me in from being too greedy. Flying … I still want that dream to come true … that is going to be GREAT when that one happens! … I mean ; just me … flying , no glider or Garuda … just me … oh OKAY! … maybe a magic carpet then, I would settle for that. Here are some dreams that came true for me: I wanted to be free and individual and not too tied up in the system … I didn’t want to spend time working but living ; camping out, some travelling, endless hours in the ocean, at the beach and under the water. I wanted to live for a time with basic camping equipment, enough money and a Triumph motorcycle and just cruise around and see the country. I wanted to live on a ‘hippy commune’. Hang on … change all those wants to dreams … I dreamed of: Studying cultural anthropology, divinity and comparative religion at University (but not have to bother with exams, just do the units I chose … and I wanted someone else to pay for it. Join a coven. … Never have to go back to school again !!! Ooohhh I dreamed of THAT one soooo much! (And it came true ! … For years, occasionally I would wake up in the morning and go ‘Oh NO! … wait a minute – I don’t have to school anymore ! ) - I am liking this meditation … Find a secret magical ‘occult’ order and join it. Connect with the indigenous and learn about life and this land from them. Be with lots of different beautiful woman … (ah yes a constant dream that one ! Seeing as I was a virgin until I was 20!) I could go on … and on and on … but I am interested to read as well. Current dream? To just go on for a while longer in relative comfort and to be left in my ‘own space’; a nice spot connected to nature and the animals, the beautiful ‘ti-too ti-too’ (and other) bell like calls of the eastern rosellas that sound to me like pixies playing in the garden … to maintain communication with the ‘elemental’ kingdom in a special little nature spot I live in … to get a car … to continue my spiritual development … and that everyone works their stuff out ‘as they will’ without so much splattering their own gloop around onto other people and nature. Any jobs going on that island for an old dotty gardener that would like to help Bio-dynamically assist the nature there? (I promise not to do laps of the island on a Triumph, have a harem, invite hippies, or splatter gloop – although I may want to write, paint, make things out of bamboo, and occasionally FLY laps of the island.) ...

I will share an interesting story about how more is possible than we ever think. When I was much younger, some friends of mine and I were talking and joking about what we really want, what would be our dream. So a few of us talked about living on our very own island. We all laughed. One person talked about how you could buy islands in international waters and not be attached to any particular country. Who knows if this is true or not, or still true. We were all far from having that sort of money though lol. Well anyways, I have noticed that nearby here there are islands for sale, about large enough for a house or 2 on them, which you can buy for half a million. That is half what this house is worth lol. However I do not have that sort of cash, nor do I own this house (I rent, with a roomate). Nor do I realistically see a bank loaning me that sort of money in my forseeable future... However... if I so choose, I do have an opportunity in the next 5 years (or perhaps less) to live on an entire 5km island all to myself (and hey maybe a couple of my friends), in trade for island sitting... as long as I want. I know the person who is presently doing this, and he will be retiring soon. Who would have thought? I wouldn't get to own it, but still! Well 20 years ago I would not have thought this was possible, and would have laughed... however... It is just one example. I have also laughed at other things which came to be a decade or 2 later.

Since you asked... and it depends on a few 'stories'... but they are brother and sister who after marrying prohibited the marrying of those with a similar clan name; it must be good to be the 'first' and to make up the rules Fu Xi, (伏羲) was born Mi Xi (宓羲), which means ‘silent breath’. Fuxi is also known as Tai Hao (太昊), or Great Magnificant, Tai Di (太帝) or Celestial Emperor, and Pao Xi (庖犧) which may be the origin of his teaching of "yielding sacrificial-animals". Fu Xi's surname was Feng (風, wind) which is pronounced the same as another character Feng (鳳) meaning a Pheonix. Fu Xi observed Pheonixes gathering on a tong tree and based on this image he made the string instrument guqin (he cut down a piece of tong wood to make a qin and used silk cord for strings). The sound of the Qin was said to restore the inner soul. He is called the first of the Sovereigns and attributed to be guided by the element of wood, the season of spring, the cardinal direction of east, and the planet of Jupiter. http://www.mysteriouschina.com/chinese-myth-legend-1-fu-xi-legend/ Nu Wa, ( 女媧 or 女娲) also had the surname of Feng (風) being the sister of Fu Xi (at least in some accounts). She is sometimes referred to as the snake goddess. There is an interesting alternate story for her name: that her father was Shui Jingzi (水精子), the Spirit of Water belonging to a tribe in northern China with the surname Ying 嬴 (meaning snail). She was formed like a human being except that, instead of having legs, she had a tail and glided over the earth. She had a long head with two fleshy horns, her body resembling that of a snail (wa 蝸), hence she was called Nu Wa (meaning snail-maid), and worshiped as a snail goddess (蝸牛神). According to "Duyi Zhi" (獨異志) by Li Rong of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), sectioned as “opening of the universe”, there were a brother and a sister called Nvwa, living in Kunlun Mountains (崑崙), and there were no ordinary people at that time. They wished to become husband and wife, yet, felt shy about it. Thus, the brother took his younger sister to the top of the mountain and swore: "If Heaven allows us to be husband and wife, please let the clouds gather; if not, please let the clouds scatter." Then, the clouds gathered together. The younger sister came to live with her brother. She made a fan with grass to hide her face. The present custom of women taking a fan in their hands originated from that story. Where did they come from? According to the book of Liezi, The Dream of Huaxu (華胥之夢 Huaxu zhi Meng) means a dream like or uptopia land: “The Yellow Emperor had ruled for 15 years but he worried because the world was not well-ordered; so he withdrew, resting himself in the Palace of the Great Court. He purified his heart and submitted his body (to plain living). For three months he himself had nothing to do with carrying out the affairs of state. Once he had a daytime dream about traveling around the state of the Huaxu clan. This was a natural place, where people had no cravings and did not die prematurely. They did not think about clinging to life, nor did think about the fear of death. (Ideas about) beauty and ugliness did not grow in their hearts. mountains and valleys did not cause them to stop walking, and they took lived happily. When the Yellow Emperor awoke he felt happy and contented; he now understood the greatest Dao. For the next 28 years the world was very well regulated, resembling the state of the Huaxu, uptopia society, (in his dream).” Tradition holds that HuaXu was a clan and the matriarial ruler who was the mother of Fuxi and Nuwa. It was said she saw a very large footprint while travelling around Thunder Lake and got caught up in its energy but then emerged pregnant. She is said to have carried Fuxi for 12 years. This area was called Chengji. Eventually she gave birth to Fuxi...

With many preliminary practices there is a narrowing of the mind, a fixation on something usually with the ultimate purpose of creating a favourible trance state to weaken the power of existing unfavorable trance states. But ultimately you are still dreaming and continuing to create new dreams even if its a better dream. Whereas in liberation awareness is completely open and unfixated free from all trance, so both states are of different taste and nature. I know I'm probably in disagreement with many masters but the nature of the two modes of awareness are in contrast as far as I can see so its possible they may not have anything to do with one another.

I touch most trees that come within reach... high five em as I walk down the streets of LA... There's one tree in a nearby park, I have long, barefoot, intention-breath conversations with on a regular basis... Recently I became lucid in a dream, where I was inside an egg, that was inside a tree, running the MCO... roots seeking deeper branches arching to the light dancing with the wind

That makes perfect sense when we see the sun as the metaphoric Source of the macrocosm. When we look at the microcosm of ourselves, the Corpus Callosum would be metaphorically the same as the sun in the macrocosm. Mind. The Source. The connector of the right and left brain, also maybe analogous to the yin yang interweve between light and darkness. Perhaps the left brain is a form of darkness, of illusion, until the right brain, the innate intuition, is accessed. Traveler said: Experience is the best teacher. Stand in the center of your head and look up. What do you see? There is no right or wrong answer to that question. What is seen there shifts as you reach deeper and deeper levels of consciousness in meditation. I had an odd thing happen yesterday morning when I woke up. I woke up to a doorbell, ding-dong Avon type (which we don't have) into a lucid dream. I was looking up overhead into the source of a light that were beautiful chakra colors; light pink, lavender, white - all furling and moving around each other. Funny you should mention looking up into your head! Isn't synchronicity something?

Yes, I tried to 'find my hands' in the dream state and experienced a lucid out-of-the-body style experience. It was quite awesome.

why cant we just have the bureaucratic one corporate state that we all dream of? that would watch our every action and thought? (for our own protection) (and not necessarily just for marketing purposes) monsanto!, its not just for breakfast anymore,,,, i dream of a daring new corporation that has self funded its own research, peer reviewed itself too, that comes up with the next biggest best thing, a body fluid that will allow humans to operate (minimially and without questioning) almost half-way alive, this new corporate body fluid would replace that outdated concept of blood. the supreme court would rule in favor of the required 'fluid change' for all us citizens. the corporation of course will self regulate all safety, environmental, health concerns (as corporations do now) the new advanced 'fluid of life tm' will be available in cold weather only warmer climate variety( becoz that is all we need now) and it is able to absorb trace levels of CO2, actually it operates better on CO2 additives, each month or every 3,000 miles there will need to be 'fluid of life tm' change and check up. this will only cost 33% of your disposable income. but there will be the add on tax to support corporations that have gone multi-national and no longer hire us citizens. beginning in the year 2017 all citizens will be required to have their old outdated (not to be trusted) blood removed at authorized corporate blood drainers tm further good news is that while republicans argue for a blood draining credit voucher to cover this procedure for impoverished citizens (yes! the govt corporate state will even accept(demand) poverty blood) and the democrats actaully want this procedure included in the new entittlements package. (actually this will be the main entitlement) so, however bureaucratic corporate state (red, white, and blue) (altho this new entitlement also will take the red out of the red white and blue.) but isnt some dullish industrial gray a better color? and gives us a nostalgic rememberance when there was industry in america. its the world we always dreamed of and coming soon

Thanks! Never a dull moment. yeah. I think it will be more interesting when I join the long distance course. Lucid dream are common for me, used to do what some may call oobe and astral projection for lack of better term. Not so much now, but lots of them when I'm younger. I am interested in the dream qigong that you guys do to. Hope can get to that level one day.

The history of this planet is so fantastic that you can not even dream it. Before our Adam & Eve, there was Atlantis. Atlantis had its own Adam. Atlantis was destroyed with their Apocalypse. Before Atlantis, there was Mu. Mu had its own Adam. Mu was destroyed with their Apocalypse.

Same with me on the action movie. The last one I had a dream where I was fighting some entities, don't know if it's some osrt of ghost or what not. They have some sort of darkness and so I called on the light to fight them. They gang up on me and I use the swirling light to get them off. And then I combine the light with my martial arts move. My friends were fighting in the dream with me too. Must be my over active imagination. The first night or maybe a few niht after started learning GOT 1 I dream of doing the GOT 1 move number 2 while moving something like japanese sliding door, only made of mostly white light. All the energy in the dream in thise several dream are white light, with maybe some hint of other color, I'm not sure.

This is true. I had a discussion about that with a fellow practitioner recently. There simply isn't a lot of information out there about genuine Xian Tian Tao Yin Xiu. It is a very tiny part in the history of the art, that under which practitioners of the system have been granted authority to discuss some of it's details openly. We were even making a joke about it a week ago, because a fellow Tao Yu recommended I write a book and I laughed and asked "why bother?" It would be 995 pages of Hou Tian and 5 pages Xian Tian. Hou Tian Xiu can by mapped out linearly in an instructive format, such that once one has familiarized themselves with the instructions, they may sit and begin to practice and say "ok, first I start with A then move to B then C then D etc," but with Xian Tian Tao Yin Xiu, every individual practitioners path is completely complimentary to their condition of body, energy and spirit-mind. One Tao Yu may skip 10 steps that another must do, and some may leap-frog ahead 10 years of others, while other's may be stuck in one place for just as long. It all depends entirely on the persons talents, the persons diligence and the current state of their 3 bodies at the time of initiation. Because of this, right after initiation practitioners will be guided into different forms of meditation dependent on their current level of spiritual progress; thus your Immortal may guide you into moving meditation (seated), moving meditation (standing), postural meditation such as Zhan Zhuang (standing or seated), seated emptiness meditation to penetrate the Wuji. It may when necessary control your breath and direct your Qi in the body to perform certain tasks at the required times bearing in mind the micro and macro-cosmic timings of the heavenly bodies and the internal organs, meridians and energy fields etc. It is all very, very personal. We do have a very detailed Xiu Tao flowchart which outlines and describes all the hallmarks of our schools cultivation path from Beginner to Immortal, but this is very superficial in comparison to every practitioners personal experience. It's not that complicated. The process of transmutation is reversed. During Hou Tian Xiu, we use low vibrational resources derived from Earth, Air, Food, Drink and Hormones to build Jing. Jing is the foundation in Hou Tian Xiu. When plenty, the Jing is then refined to Qi, the Qi later to Shen and the Shen to Wuji. In Xian Tian Xiu, we use high vibrational resources derived from Heaven through our school and by absorbing the essence of the Sun, Moon and the heavenly bodies that vibrate at the Shen and Wuji level. Shen is the foundation in Hou Tian Xiu. When plenty, the Shen is then refined to Qi and the Qi to Jing. On a side note, another one of our recent Tao Yu and a close friend of mine whom I personally invited to the initiation has also recently separated his Shen from his body and was able to travel to familiar places around London. Although his spirit is still in Taiji and not in Wuji. To enter Wuji requires that the spirit undergo a lot of transformation and this is inevitably achieved through Jing Zuo; sitting and forgetting / emptiness meditation. The reason why our Tao Yu are able to achieve Yin Shen skill so quickly is because our Bai Hui is activated during initiation. Yin Shen is not something extraordinary. It is a minor spiritual skill and even non spiritualists can achieve it by modifying their consciousness through drug use or OBE practices. Building the Yang Shen / The Indestructible Immortal Spirit is a process which takes much longer, but we don't start from Jing to Qi to Shen. In our school the priority is the Spirit's transformation, so immediately after/during initiation we begin to refine Yang Shen and every practice thereafter, when we practice at home or anywhere else will advance the refinement of Yang Shen. In Hou Tian Xiu, after the Yang Shen is born, because it is still a baby, It is weak and vulnerable. If the practitioner were to die while the Yang Shen was in such a state I fear the possibility that It may be attacked by other spirits or demon and could be destroyed, dissolving all progress up until now. In our school, because every Tao Yu is enveloped in the divine golden aura received from Tai Shang Lao Jun, even if we died and our Yang Shen was still in an infant stage of development, we could continue to develop in the divine realm under the guidance of our Immortal teachers, without the fear of spiritual attacks. The golden aura protects us and so does our Fu Fa Shen. We may call on it for spiritual refinement or to aid us and help us with our daily lives. This is the very reason why less than a month for one case and 2 months later for another Tao Yu, they were able to freely and fearlessly explore the environment and even far away areas with their Yin Shen, knowing they are under protection from demonic attacks and possessions. I would otherwise be afraid to do so. I say this, because of the experiences I've had with demons attacking me during sleep paralysis. I believe there are two types of dream states: During the first the Hun retreat to the Liver and the Po to the Lungs and the imaginings of the dream state take place in the mental consciousness of the brain. The dream takes place in the body and the soul(s) remain within. The shell is full. During the second, either then Hun and Po both leave the body or the Hun OR the Po leave the body and travel away to distant realms to experience genuine interactions with other worlds and beings, not of the mind. The soul(s) leave the body. The shell is empty. If you speak to a lot of practitioners they will tell you that when they are exploring with their Yin Shen their body is in a state of paralysis. They can see themselves sitting and meditating or laying down or however they were positioned prior to separating their Yin Shen from the body. It is exactly at this very point that I've found people are likely to experience demon's of the night and It is of my strong belief that these demons take advantage of the empty shell to attempt possession. I think this is why whenever you her testimonies of sleep paralysis, they are often accompanied by the demon weighing down on your back or chest. It has only happened to me during sleep paralysis when the Yin Shen is out of the body. This explains why I always observed the events from a birds-eye view and why I could see both my body and that of the demon fully. My mother whom is also an initiated Tao Yu works in a care-home, where she just started work. The other day she met a patient whom had a very depressed and sad demeanour. She asked him "what's the matter?." The patient kept shying away and trying to avoid the topic, but my mum could sense something was the matter. She poked a little more and the patient finally admitted that they were scared they'd think they were crazy or something if he shared his concerns. She managed to get close enough and the patient finally disclosed that every night a demon would come to their bed and weigh down on them. It felt like it was both pulling and sucking them and weighting down with a very strong gravity at the same time. They could never sleep, because of the fear of the experience every night and had sleep deprivation. My mother used a mantra from our school to disperse any Yin influences in the vicinity and said she would come back to check on them tomorrow. Well she did and they patient said It was the first time since moving to the care home that they had a normal night's sleep. Demon free. Some people with developed talents, whether in this life time or a prior can easily slip out of the body during sleep to explore other places and are very often due to this victims of demonic attempts of possession. They don't seem to attack when the spirit of these spirit travellers is still in the body and I would imagine it is because the said person has a very strong spirit. You would need one to be able to slip out of the body of your own volition. I think these demon's wait exactly for that and then they try to weaken the physical body somehow or to sever the connection between the body and the adventuring spirit in order to occupy the shell. Anyhoo. Just rambling : ) If you refine your Yang Shen enough during this life time, when you die you can go to the divine realm and be a Fu Fa Shen to your grand children or great grand children or perform other duties in heaven. You would be a Shen Xian too then. An immortal spirit or a god. There are different levels of divine status and the term god does not refer to only one of these levels. There are lower gods, middle gods, higher gods and all sorts in between those. But for all intensive purposes one who practices as a human and created the Yang Shen body by merging the Hun and Po is considered a Taoist God. That could be you if you practice diligently or it could be someone else. Bear in mind however that there are those humans that refine from an earthly state into a heavenly state to become a Shen Xian, but there are also Tian Xian or heavenly immortals who have always existed as immortals or gods and did not start from a physical form, but one can get to this state of their own effort as well. Gui Xian > Ren Xian > Di Xian > Shen Xian > Tian Xian I'll speak for myself and for the Tao Yu whom are close to me and say that it's all of the above. like I said whether you are moved or not depends on where you are in your practice. To develop the consciousness and awareness required to enter the Wuji we need to practice a lot of sitting meditation. Since the initiation, I feel like I am hooked up to a constant and very strong source of energy. When we invite an immortal to practice with us during the day or night and they then begin to move your body, energy and mind the interaction and force of this energy influence increases. For example, during the day I will feel Qi moving around in different place. Sometimes it feels like a hand reaches into some part of my body and tweaks something. Imagine a hand, but no bones or muscles or tendons or anything physical, just energy. Then it reaches into your body and interacts with an organ or the Qi flow in a meridian. Sometimes it feels like that for me, and that's before I've actually invited an immortal to guide me. Yesterday after I finished practice which consisted of my regular Yi Jin Jing and 5 organ forms, I asked my Fu Fa Shen if it would please continue to refine me while I sleep in whatever way possible... Well.. Let's put it this way. I didn't sleep all night hahaha. I was being thrown around like a rag doll in the bed, in all sorts of positions and mudras. I quite literally felt like I was a fish in a frying pan and it was just flipping me around. The immortal is so strong that it can just flip me from a lying tummy position to on your back in one go. I feel like I don't even roll. It just picks me up and spins me. And when it moves my hand it does it at such a speed like I know I could never achieve with my own musculoskeletal system. I feel like the flash. In fact. My hand moves and reaches it's destination before my mind realizes it has moved. At first It was a very strange feeling, but then I realized it makes perfect sense that my brain would lag with the information since it wasn't me initiating the movement. It had to catch up a little. Yes. I know It all sounds a little strange, but the reality of authentic spiritual cultivation is such. It's filled with the supernatural and unexplained. We like to keep this stuff between Tao Yu, because when we say it to someone else, they label us crazy and put us in the loony bin. But you know how the saying goes: I awoke only to find out that everyone else was still asleep. The immortal is... super-conscious, all pervasive. To it the past, present and future are one. But what you must understand is that our OWN physical bodies do not vibrate at that level of existence. Our organs and meridians and Qi flow wax and wane in accordance with the moon and sun and forces of the earth and other influences. We tire, we exhaust ourselves and we need rest. Everyone's body can take a different amount of stress. I say stress, because during Tao Yin many of the exercises can be very exhausting. For example, my mothers Fu Fa Shen always forces her into really tough Yoga Poses, that I wouldn't want to try. When it let's her go, she is often sweating and just wants to go to sleep directly, because she is so tired. It all depends on your endurance, but like I said our bodies work on timings. Often FFS will need to wait and hand pick a certain timing in order to create a specific effect in the body. This means that It may ask you to perform a certain exercise at a specific time to help advance a healing or refinement process in your body. This is the advantage of authentic Xian Tian Tao Yin Xiu. You have an immortal there to tweak you EXACTLY when you need to be tweaked. It's the difference in cultivation between rubbing two wet stick together to make fire and using a magnifying glass with the sun. It's strange to say if it comes for you. Because it's literally beyond speed and time and distance. The moment you think of it, It's already there. Immortals have a skill which allows them to replicate themselves over and over again. This means that It can be in many places and guiding many students and performing many tasks at once. It is your personal teacher and friend. In my experience FFS will leave you when it determines that your body is too tired to sustain the task at hand. Or it will leave you when it has reached it's desired effect for that time or place. Often a lot of the "issues" which it addresses and heals during practice are complex and cannot be fixed in one go. So during one session it may fix 10%, then it may need to come back again when the timing of the organ or meridian or sun and moon is right to push it from 10% to 20%. Then maybe it will wait for 4 months without doing anything, because it needs to wait for the right alignment of criteria again, then it will advance the refinement from 20% to 50% etc. It will intelligently do what needs to be done with absolute wisdom in action in order to bring about the state and result necessary to elevate you to the next step in cultivating the Tao. Indeed it is all very interesting. I believe one would have great success when being well educated in both Hou Tian and Xian Tian cultivation methods. This will allow the practitioner to safely refine the Jing (body) while refining the Shen (spirit-mind) and thus meet in the middle Qi (energy) Thank you kindly. Just a minor update..last night during meditation I experienced a tingling up and down my left leg for what lasted about 2-3 minutes..I made note earlier in my thread about feeling "numb" on the left side of top of head; almost as if that side of my brain, it hasnt been functioning. Also along with the tingling came muscle twitches in the left arm. I cant say the tingling was unpleasant at all; in fact it felt good. I also had a mildly erotic dream, something that has been totally absent for some time(any hint of sexuality has been absent).. I also awoke with what seemed like 100 images in my head, none of which were unpleasant, mostly of things in nature like beaches, mountains,etc. I also cried a bit out of nowhere during meditation last nite. My emotional capacity has been severely blunted lately so I took this as a good thing and it seemed to have released something because of the dreams,etc. Just thought Id make a note of it here.

In my, now converted to everyday awareness, 'religous practice' I 'own nothing'. What am I but receptor organs for my creator and Goddess; Nuit? I exist so she may gain expereince in the world of physical incarnation, therfore all experience pain and pleasure, complete fulfillment and an empty heart howling at the Moon are all hers. Amidst the canyons of the heart the winged serpent flies ... around the stone of the heart the serpent is coiled. One is flashing rainbow hued, the other green. Green has two phases; one can be likened to Venus and a heart encurled by Venus is what many experience, when Venus rises up to the 'heart' directly it can be a problem (Venus : veneres : venom : poison : a magic philtre / potion : hormones - very hard to resist a 'poision' and hence the heart CAN be encirled in a restrictive manner considering the position of Venus in the 'Psychological Tree'. The other side of the green snake (perhaps what Crowley writes about) can be seen in the context of 'glittering green' the colour of the robes worn by 'Kidur' the Sufi '(apparitional master' and 'guide') ... who in true Mercurial fashion (with the elemnt of the trickster ... or by 'riddle') points the way. In this aspect Venus passes through Mercurius (hence becoming the Rainbow Serpent) ... which is the correct and modulated path for Venus (or Mars) to approach the Heart / Sun / Ego. From there it rises, to eventually complete the cycle that started it all; from the 'heavenly black snake' (Wallenganda - the dark middle of the Milky Way) that spat her water upon all of us which created the great dream of existance. Curious. One may notice (looking to the left) that I myself am a lizard. Under my floor of the cabin (right under the hearth) is a lizard 'congregation node' (on the physical plane), on the 'non-(entirely)physical' plane it is the entrance to a tunnel, which connects to many others (with nodes of 'quantum jump off points' that connect to 'quantum receptor' points). The tunnels were made by snakes but lizards guard them. Do I give them 'real, hard, literanist, everyday, meet-a-person-in-the-street, western materialist rationalist' validity? Of course not! Do the indigenous give them the same ? Of course not! Would I bother to try to prove their existance in that same realm? No ? ... what for? Can that ''Daimonic Reality" 'interpenetrate' into the 'Mundane reality; yes it can ... but in a different way. [ Goanna is my friend (or if you like totem - at avery young age I was introduced to him when an Aboriginal Man {at a snake and reptile show] realised my connection and placed on on top of my head ... tourists freaked out ... Australians laughed thinking it was a joke ... the Aborigmal man, me ... and the lizard knew different ... we were bot very comfortible with each other and stayed there until the Man removed him). My girlfriend at the time didnt like them. She didnt like the spot and got freaked out about me as she had 'strange' dream about me being under the house with goannas in a cave doing 'things' with them, I turned and saw here and angrily shouted "Get out!". She told me later as a small girl she was scared of them, they used to sunbake on the concrete path that led to the family thunder box (ourside dunny / toilet - thunder lizard guarding thunder box ) It got too much eventually for her (she who purported to be a magician and witch !) when she went outside to see what the noise was and there was Gungali amidst the pulled apart garbage (as she left the lid off the bin) happily chewing away on one of her old thrown out tampons. ... they used to tease her ferociously (as all deamonic entities do that do not get proper acknowledgment .] Xrays, plans ... physical evidence ??? A rare and unusuall person might be able to 'catch a faerie in the gloaming' and shut him in an iron cage ... but in the morning he will be gone ... as they say..."vanished into thin air" . Why do us westerners have the need to try and PROOVE on the material planes that such things exist? I see it as fault in our perception ... a sickness actually. But hey!
