  1. Taoism Vs Buddhism

Yeah so the oldest philosophy of India is Samkhya and it's based on the "three gunas" and Taoism has the same thing - the "yang" energy is like raja and the Emptiness is like sattva and yin is like tamas of Samkhya. So we think of tamas as a negative thing but as alchemy teaches -- it starts and ends with "lead" or jing energy - and so the denser emotional physical energy becomes the means to focus to create stronger yang energy as prana and then to go into deeper Emptiness as shen energy. I mean it is a "three in one unity" -- so anyway..... to say it's really "four" gets into nondualism.... But so if you consider the oldest philosphy of India - even China - you get into the secret Afro-dravidian cultures from the original cultures out of Africa that spread around the coasts of the world back around 70,000 BCE..... Anyway so these older cultures -- the language is tonal like Tamil language in India - the trance dance training is given stronger focus -- like the origin of Taoism is considered to be from matrifocal shamans - females - doing trance dancing. So also yang is the Perfect Fifth music interval and yin is the perfect fourth and so this is also found in Pythagorean philosophy - but people just look this over. Actually all human cultures have this 1-4-5 music intervals. Only in the West were these tunings then "compromised" into a materialistic philosophy that is the secret origin for Western mathematics, science, etc. Anyway so the original human culture - the Bushmen of Africa going back to 100,000 BCE -- that is a matrifocal culture. The oldest ritual is the menstruation inititation trance dance and it's found in the two oldest tribes with slightly different languages - so that means the music trance dance ritual is the common denominator of human origins from 100,000 BCE. How was it matrifocal -- it has to do with language originating out of lunar synchronization with menstruation and this being the jing Earth-Lunar energy but as psychic energy it connects with the pre-natal vitality as spirit energy - and this is a cosmic energy of other higher holographic dimensions..... A sort of psychic consciousness of the Earth-- Moon relation that governs life on Earth through the information stored in water which is what we are made up mainly. So the Emptiness is reflected materially through the female energy. Yeah so in the original human cultures the females controlled land relations as the rights to water, etc. But the main principle was that "N/om" should not be hoarded - the energy should be shared. The females sang all night to transmit their jing energy aka N/om energy into the males and then the males trance danced all night to transform the N/om energy into !Xia the trance laser holographic energy. But that energy is used to feed back and transform and heal physical matter again - and so goes back into N/om energy again. All the higher alchemical powers were achieved by the Bushmen but that was not really the focus of the culture - instead it was on the healing energy and this was directed by the females, as I mentioned - so the females would throw water onto the males to keep the males back into their body to heal the females. So I would say Taoism also has this practical focus - it is more focused on the body being healed - on longevity - and also on Feng Shui - to heal the land - to even heal the weather -- and in that sense - the training is tied to animal wisdom just as the original hunter gatherer cultures considered animals to be spirit guides..... And also in the Tao Te Ching the Emptiness is described as the spirit of the valley which is female and that yin is more powerful since -- like water - it can dissolve other things -- it flows and takes the shape needed, etc. Qigong is considered to be 5,000 years old from these older matrifocal rituals of trance dancing. The monotheistic religions are built upon this older more lunar matrifocal healing energy - but so the focus shifted to not just a Solar emphasis but just excluding the female energy also and trying to hide it - and so the ritual priests became more left brain focused - using right hand technology. So the ritual geometry was used actually more for materialistic means and actually based on a separation of the whole mind from the power of the lower body which is what is needed to activate the whole mind - that is the "harmony of heaven and Earth" - so the ritual priests are based on "separation of heaven and earth" which then cuts off the love energy that is the harmonization process..... In the trance healing "God" watches the process and guides it - or the Emptiness -- but it's actually also the Cosmic Mother - I call it "female formless awareness." The patriarchial religions try to claim that it is genderless but that is based on left-brain logic which is symmetric and so goes against the inherent complementary opposites of reality as defined by this "three in one" unity. It can not be contained visually - and so it is through an older verbal, listening process that is an infinite process. And so the "source" of the yin energy is the formless Emptiness but it is also female as the Cosmic Mother energy - so a deeper love into the "womb-tomb" - beyond death and birth. Or like Kali as the Cosmic Mother - is really Kala as time that goes in reverse from creation to destruction and back to creation again by reversing the direction of space. So it is like the frequency of time itself is able to change the direction of physical space - and this works through the light spirit energy which is hidden inside the physical female jing energy - prenatal vitality is the spirit light energy. So this listening process as meditation is resonating with this female formless awareness which then builds up the energy again -- and the more we do it then the more harmonized our energy is and so the faster that time is reversed - space collapses more quickly into the Cosmic Mother Emptiness which is a realm of pure light as the mind energy - the yang energy -- then reverses or changes physical reality back into yin. So there are always mystical movements -- reform movements -- Buddhism is a mystical reform movement - it is not inherently patriarchal but it can easily fall back into the patriachal culture because the root -- the rotten root of patriarchy does not get cut out -- it does not get fully exposed. But that is the same with all the later reform movements -- as patriarchy continues - and the destruction escalates and intensifies. The ancient matrifocal origins of humanity as steeped in the Dream Time as a permanent eternal vision realm has the basic message that humans are NOT in control - no human is in control -- no matter how "godly" - only the Universe or the Emptiness or the Cosmic Mother is in control - secretly playing with physical reality but never really bothered by it - all the suffering and pain are just "growing pains" - learning tools that then enable greater love to be experienced - and this process actually happens outside of spacetime itself. And so people should take care of ecology because they don't have a choice! Because we accept this greater control but there is a specific harmonization process through this yin-yang-Emptiness dynamic that has been passed on to us by the ancient shamanic traditions from trance dance and yoga and Tai Chi, etc. So Buddhism builds on that tradition but should be part into the same perspective as Christianity and Islam and Judaism and Krishna, etc. -- the Solar Gods. My book goes into this more but it's not very clear and so not very readable and besides literacy goes against this real shamanic consciousness.
  2. Foundations Of Magical Training

So that is what happened! When I started reading about magick and practicing I unfortunately had a run in with a under cover satanist who used magick for nefarious purposes. I did not find out who this person really was until I began noticing astral attacks and such when I would dream at night. This individual would ask me to hold magickal 'objects' for him, stupid me not knowing that i was merely giving this predator a link into my subconscious. Eventually I cut off communication with this person, but this is very real. Especially when your dealing with a individual who has low self-esteem and blames the world for their problems. I learned the hard way, but it was a lesson well learned. I studied the the phenomenon so much I can literally feel when others are unknowingly looking to control me or take my free will away. You can feel it near the stomach area, as if some one tries to take a hold. Conflict of interest, to say the least. What are some good techniques besides grounding to dislodge others? I usually tend to push back when I feel this phenomenon happening or imagine some one's arm breaking. I guess I should be asking what is a good form of exorcism rather than banishing...? Should be on the list! lol! Thanks for posting this by the way!
  3. Not their concern, nor responsibility. There isn't much they can do about it anyway, other than taking time out of their day to come here and let everyone know that Shifu lin is not a student of their school. That's about all they can do. I've asked you specifically before what it is you expect them to do about it, I can't think of anything they can do about it ethically short of launching a psychic assault or lawsuit on Micah. Neither of those seem like things they'd be interested in doing. The school is closed and I don't think they much care what scam artist of the week is swindling fools out of their money, under the mo pai banner. They were kind enough to come here and make an official statement that Shifu Lin is not a student in their school. Instead of DEMANDING they answer every inane question you can dream up (even though they already answered it a few paragraphs prior), or DEMANDING they do something about a con artist, how about YOU do something about it.
  4. The Tao of Dying

Hahaha. Almost forgot to post this. Woke up from a dream the other morning. I was in a hostage situation with a bunch of people. In my hand I held a chunk of bread. Before I woke up, I had heard a voice say "Were making a life for a chance to live, not a chance to die..." I then dropped the bread on the ground for the hostager and woke up as I began to walk away. The bread symbolized life, possibly Christ. Beats me. But I found it rather ironic concerning this ongoing thread. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear, will know. Good Day!
  5. Morning Ritual?

I'm curious to find out what some of you do first thing upon waking in the morning? One of my great curiousities about my human experience is the play between various states of consciousness. Lucid dreaming is something I engage in regularly and recently I'm trying to incorporate more discipline to my dream experiences rather than just enjoying and playing. But that is a precursor to my question. The transition between states of consciousness fascinates me. Especially the transition from sleeping awareness to the waking state. Those first few moments upon waking... Usually, based on my ridiculous schedule in my early 20's and my habit of setting my alarm clock to the last possible moment to get as much sleep as possible, I would leap out of bed at full speed and blaze out the door. These days, I still often find myself mechanically 'hopping' up and getting right to action with what needs doing. For many years I paid no mind to how I woke up, I just got up and went about it. Recently, one day I hopped up and looked in the mirror and stopped. My heart was jumping and I asked myself 'what's the emergency? Why in such a hurry?' Now I'm taking the first moments of the waking state, to just sit and observe... memories of dreams if there are any, listen to the sounds of morning and focus on my first conscious breaths. I then get up slowly. Go out and squeeze the juice of a lemon into a cup of hot water and look out the window as I sip. I leave the lights off. I get up quite early on work days 3:45 or 4:00am. After that I do some mild stretching and a few cycles of Tumo breathing. Then it's make lunch and head out to work. I'm curious what others do upon waking?
  6. @tongkosong, thank you for your kind reply... If you don't mind, I have this question of mine that purely flows out from my own curiosity... If the being of light was a real event, what about the message delivered by the so called "mysterious" person and a mysterious challenger that offered Master Chang's senior student to come and study with him ? Did both events really take place ? How did the mysterious challenger offer Chang's senior student ? did he appear in a dream, used a written message, or came in physical person ? I'm really sorry, I hope I'm not going too far...
  7. Nocturnal Emission Prevention Techniques

those dreams have never been about sex except once which i mistook for a premonition when i met the girl from the dream in real life :\ Otherwise, they've been the classic falling dream, and i've had them while awake as well, where my entire body feels like it just suddely hit something solid after falling for a long distance... SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME whenever it does happen and i spend about 5 minutes trying to figure out which life just died and which consciousness just emerged For that matter there's a gas station in salem across from a mcdonalds that has "blown up" at least 6 times on me, and my entire omniversal consciousness had to shift realities. Same one- that's what creeps me out. First time it happened was very vivid, some guy with a very terrible karmic aura drove past and the death in his eyes creeped me out badly. he drove past the gas station, but i was also vividly aware of "his" expression of vengeful intent and mass destruction. I experienced multiple times, that gas station exploding and killing "me" and others. In such a nonchalant manner mostly, except that part where i suddenly SLAM into my body...
  8. You really haven't? Interesting. It seems to be more of an adolescent thing when you've got raging hormones and plenty to spare, but for me it's started happening more again in the last few years, too. Probably more commonly (at least in my experience) called a wet dream, which gets to the point a little better. Sometimes you may wake up and not remember that it happened, until you realize you've got a mess, but typically you have a dream about sex. And in your dream you climax...and also in real life. I usually wake up right at the point when the dream causes a real event in reality No "accident" about it. It's one of those powerful dreams that "tricks" your body into thinking it's really happening.
  9. I don't know why there is so much wonder about setting your energy field 3ft or higher. That is kind of basic stuff. I learned that when I was in my early teens and refined it while learning Taiji Quan under Sifu Rudy Curry in Queens, NY. The practice for it is really easy, but just takes a person to diligently practice it...consistently. Then there are practices which one does to strengthen the will and intent as well as strengthen the field of energy being extended. Over the yrs I have refined it and worked on several different ways, which aren't very much different actually. hahaha I always say, when the time comes to actually have your life in danger, then the skill presents itself. That way, one doesn't get caught up in delusions of grandeur. On occasions, when I felt some drunkard was following me, I would extend my energy to the space around me and he would end up walking, confused about it, away from me while he was trying to walk towards me. Then I would contract the field and he would flow right back in my direction, and then when he got closer, I would send him out again. hahahaha I remember that day, the drunk guy's friend was across the street laughing his drunk butt off while this happened for about 3-5 minutes. Then I turned to the guy and said, Have a nice day! I work here (at the time I was working in a school in China, and he followed me with his friend, scheming on the strange looking white guy in Changpao.) Anyway, when I said good bye to him, I stopped playing with the field, and he stopped dead, looked at me and shook his head.. I over heard him telling his friend, what the hell was that...? I couldn't get near him..what the hell. Its no super power, and definitely nothing to be all in wonder about. Can I do it now? I don't know, I really haven't tried to do anything "different" in many years..no need to really. If anyone is interested, here you go. The first step, which can be the only step if you adjust the intent. haha Stand feet shoulder width apart, bend knees very slightly, pull down the tail bone to straighten the back, pull up the head by the crown and tuch the chin down slightly. Drop the chest at the sternum, just a bit. Tongue to the roof of mouth, and anal lock with slight, very slight, contraction, and keep it steady. Now the easy stuff: Hands to the sides of your body, palms facing your legs. Rock forward on your feet, slowly, and when you have your weight on the front toes, balls of feet, slowly rock back on to the heels, placing your weight on the heels, and maintaining balance, without falling over. Then, repeat forward and back. Do as long as you like, but no shorter than 10 minutes. HAHA Then, stop slowly, and center the weight in the center of the foot, letting the pressure move throughout the foot completely. Now rock side to side, but this time, do not lift your foot off the ground. When weight is at the left foot, outer side of the foot (lateral side), the pressure and weight on the right should be on the inner part of the right foot (medial side). Then, continue rocking slowly, back and forth. When you want to go back and forward, stop at the center, and settle the pressure, and then proceed. There are 8 directional rocking, and 1 directional extension and 1 directional expansion. If you want commentary on this practice, set up a thread and bring on the questions. BUT, such a practice, free of charge, so easy and simple, without vengeful spirits and what-nots, along with the only requirement of diligent practice, patience, and dropping the ego...I mean...who would actually do this? Oh, One More Thing! ( hahaha quoting the Jackie Chan Cartoon here)... Disclaimer: You may or may not feel something. i can not guarantee that you will indeed get any further on your own unless you maintain correspondence with me, free of charge too. Also, even with correspondence, I can not guarantee that you will indeed, most definitely be able to do things such as push people away who are trying to hurt you, move objects, fly, walk on water, fade into oblivion and then reappear...etc...and all those fun spiritual power thingies people dream about. I can guarantee that you will get the exact practices that I received, with the same intentions and strengthening of will, which in turn may allow you to realize this way of concentration (ability, but I like the way I say it better, lol) Whether or not you succeed at it is not up to me, but you, and the only way to know if you did get progress is to test it out. But it can only be done naturally. You can not fake your own inherent intuition to protect, and be compassionate. okay. There you go. I hope someone decides to play around with this and do something with it. I don't even bother with this anymore unless its for stopping negative energies from poisoning my family...like avian flu, or whatever...lol Enjoy!... take my words with a grain of salt...probably the tiniest. This practice will not harm you, that you can trust me in. It will not harm you, cause you to turn evil, transform into crazy munchkin eating smurfs...you get the point. Peace and Blessings, Lin (just Lin, Aiwei, or "That Guy"...not the in-question Shifu Lin) Since that Shifu Lin thread is so popular, I just want to make sure no one mistakes me for that guy. hahahahahahahaha

but you have to agree with facts. and do not diagnose if you have only little knowledge on the subject. i agree that you study and this is good. but when this is about statement on somebody health issue one should be careful. hope it is clear. i am not saying i am saying the truth and i only treat carefully such subtle things. lower back pain can be caused by many diff. factors. that is why there are other factors (symptoms) listed: Did you check a patient with these symptoms? It would be true if there are few of these ones. This might be true but you have to consider other factors which I already mentioned above. First it can be just not proved theory and second psyche might needs to release some excess amount of sperm or to release the tension due to the semen retention for a long time. It depends how often it happens. And there is stated that: i understand that it is kidney issue if it happens without sex. dream. you psyche might need to release the tension. i am not sure it is better to hold it.
  11. Nocturnal Emission Prevention Techniques

lol its ok you don't have to agree with me. Though as far as your observation that Kidney def. can lead to lower back pain that is correct. As far as the comment about someone getting drunk and killing someone, I don't really understand what that is in reference to? As far as the minister-fire of the heart, it still relates to the kidney. Technically there are two heart fires, the emperor fire of the heart itself and the minister (or prime minister fire) of the pericardium. Now the base of the minister fire is ming-men which has its base and origin in the Kidney, specifically the Kidney yang. So ideally yin and yang are supposed to balance each other, but if you have Kidney yin def. then proportionately you will have an excess of yang, often called deficiency fire as its not a true excess, but a proportional excess. Anyways this excess yang then stokes the ming-men fire of the Kidney which then rises to stoke the minister fire of the pericardium which surrounds the heart. This is the whole five element cycle of control. Ideally the Kidney water controls the Heart fire. If you don't have enough Kidney water (yin) your heart fire will blaze up. As the heart houses the shen (spirit) it is responsible for our dreams. So if one is having sexual dreams which lead to emission then on the surface this can be attributed to the heart fire (branch), but on a deeper level this is really the result of there not being enough kidney water to keep the heart fire in balance (root). Hope that makes sense. Btw strictly from a personal experience perspective I don't understand nocturnal emission from the dream point of view, because if I ever have a sexual dream I get too excited and wake up before any release happens (typically I've been disappointed it worked out that way haha)
  12. Nocturnal Emission Prevention Techniques

Yeah, but you have to study it very carefully. I could not find any info that NE WITH SEX. DREAM is NOT normal. It is not normal when happens WITH NO sex. dream and along with other symptoms. Such as: http://www.acupuncture.com/Conditions/noctemission.htm
  13. Professional lumberjacks will be beyond a level I could ever dream of reaching in their system of cutting trees, doesn't mean I am interested in learning their art.
  14. I am sorry but I don't get your point: if those people you mention are "beyond a level you could ever dream of reaching" why would their practice be garbage? YM
  15. That's one way of looking at it. I am not saying there are not tons of totally dedicated and focused and serious teachers, most probably beyond a level I could ever dream of reaching. What I am saying is their practices themselves (for my purposes, and goals) are virtually worthless garbage, that could never take me where I want to go. Why waste my time with a system that can't offer what I am seeking? Is there any valid reason to do so? I can't think of any.
  16. Nocturnal Emission Prevention Techniques

Hi Universal.... According to what you are telling me, you are completely normal. "I always dream about the opposite sex in my sleep when this happens." As a matter of fact, I think you are a very healthy man. I think you have mentioned that you had broke up with your gf in another thread. Please keep in mind, when your reservoir was full, it will spill since you have no place for drainage. IMO It is very natural to have nocturnal emissions in your case for most males. "I would say my sexual urges have decreased since this started." Your urges have decreased is because your energy was used up at night. Therefore, it decreases your normal urges in the regular basis. If you want to keep the libido in tact and to compensate the energy from the nocturnal emissions, what you can do is practice static Chi Kung. I know someone is feeding you a lot of information that you might not be able to grasp. Actually, all the names had given for Chi Kung are just fancy names. Believe it or not, the basic principle is the same and has the same effect on your body internally. I think I had given you an offer to assist with the Chi Kung practice, but you had declined because you were interested in the "Spring Forest Qi Gong". Indeed, it is fine as long as you practice it diligently. If you have any question I am glad to assist you through PM....... Here is my advice. If you have decided to practice Chi Kung and learn it form someone, then stay with one style and one instructor. So, you won't be confused with the flooded information that someone was given you.
  17. Nocturnal Emission Prevention Techniques

Hi ChiDragon, I would say I have a normal level of arousal mentally. I think retaining heightens it a bit, but I've been doing that off and on for years without this problem. As far as physically, I'm able to control my digit without a problem. I would say my sexual urges have decreased since this started. I always dream about the opposite sex in my sleep when this happens. Edited to say "Hi ChiDragon"*
  18. So I contacted Labelledeesse at BKA's suggestion and I was fortunate enough to get a reading. The guidance was spot on and the reading unlike any other I have ever received. I also got to see the temple to the Lwa and the vibration was scintillating with Damballah. I will explore this further. At the same time, the friend's father who is a Vodou priest that I never got to meet, I found his contact info and he is at another temple. I never heard back from Vitimus I am still waiting. Labelledeesse put me in touch with one of her spiritual sons but he didnt reply yet. So there are some very interesting connections emerging. Also, a lot of strange occurrences, for instance walking into several clearly possessed people back to back within the last three days who were all directing their focus seemingly target at me with much confrontation. I dreamed of two tarantulas in my sink and somehow needed to get rid of them but could not wash them down the drain so I got the handle of a knife stabbed them both in the abdomen and turned on the water, In the hole where I stabbed them a brown powder started to pour out and react with the water, so the water started to boil and with that I awoke suddenly from the dream. Your insights and continued contributions to this thread are highly appreciated.
  19. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

man, you need learn how to meditate. Maybe you can figure out the trick to turn those fantasy ladies into your companion in your lucid dream state or trance state. I think TI has the tools to do it. But he doesn't seem to be interested. Please tell me how when you find it out.
  20. Can Kundalini "burn up" entities?

I don't want to start a new thread since I have a silly question. As a side job, I am a photographer. One area I would like to photograph is a cemetery. It is mostly "western" cemetery. I am just waiting for a cloudy day to go there. Why? The scene is moody and spooky. The cemetery has a lot of Gothic themes in there. Black and white film photos would look really well. For some reasons, I don't expect the experience would be plain and easy. I don't expect to go in and to come back out not feeling anything. Am I a magnet for certain spirits? Maybe certain ones, the good ones. However, you would never know what sorts of spirits one would attract. BTW, this cemetery is a historical landmark and do get visited by people very often. It is no doubt that I am very receptive to the spirits. Last year, I and my parents went to visit a Buddhist temple in the upstate New York. There was this larger than life size Kuan Yim statue. I was photographing this statue and trying to read it (the lights, the angle, and the color). I was composing the shot looking up and through my viewfinder. Then, something happened. My eyes or my attention got fixated on to the her face. I felt this surge of energy and I felt her smile. I felt that her face got bigger and larger. I froze there for 3 seconds. I then continued to finish photographing the statue. It was like she was alive and looking and smiling at me. Throughout the visit, I could hear my upper chakras vibrating the whole time. In the main hall, there is this giant statue of the Vairocana Buddha but I didn't feel anything though. Of course, there was this kid outside crying and screaming at the great Vairocana Buddha as "evil." Hahahah.... He was scared. The poor thing... I bet the kid is the devil incarnated and trembling in fear at the sight of the great Vairocana Buddha. In another incidence, this was involved with my old job. I was a store manager for a big retail chain. I got transferred to manage this store. Rumors have it that, back in the 50s, this store was used to be an Italian restaurant with connection to the mafia. And this little girl was supposedly got buried inside the freezer, down in the basement. The burial freezer was there for storage. No light inside the freezer and very messy. The basement lighting is less than optimal. I used to play tricks with my staff in there. Hahaha.... I wasn't afraid. I actually felt very comfortable in the basement. Now, I believe I saw her once in my dream. She was somewhat playful in a destructive way. Or a trouble maker or a prankster kind of way. Now, my assistant manger got the bad end of it. He dream of her very frequently. I didn't ask him what he dream. However, his mind is less then refined or cultivated.
  21. TRIDAYA? FAKE OR REAL

FROM THE WU LIU PAI: WHY DO PEOPLE DIE? WHAT IS THE ESSENCE OF TAOIST ALCHEMY? XING AND MING. FUSION OF SOUL XING WITH ENERGY MINGWhy do people die, if they have no diseases? Old age is the reason, you may say. But why does this old age come, what is the mechanism of it? A man grows old and dies because he is spending his vital energy. It's like a battery in a toy, when the battery is new – the toy car runs, but when the battery has run out – the toy car stops...And what kind of "battery" is it? It is something that is located in the area of the abdomen in the human body (compare stomach and stamina). In Chinese tradition “the battery” is called MING 命, translated as life or destiny. (“How much stamina one has?”). So, this Ming - battery otherwise known as yuanqi 元氣 in traditional Chinese medicine, but in Taoism a different character is used 元炁 - the primordial qi*. It is getting spent. And when it ends, then a "kind" man with a scythe comes. Ming is a tangible real substance and it can be felt, given a perfected sensitivity. Ming can be replenished only by mastering the since Taoist alchemy (just to emphasize that, according to the records of our school, some other traditions also posses such an essentially identical method, ). Note that to "Die" in Chinese is written emphatically: 失命 i.e. LOST MING. But apart from Ming there is still another substance. It is located in the chest, and any other spiritual schools strive to perfect it. All of them base their teachings on it. It is called XING 性, which is translated as nature, the nature of the heart. In Chinese it is also called 心性 XIN XING or 本性 BEN XING. All the many methods of meditations and praying, stopping the internal dialogue, etc appeal to this. The mechanism is simple in theory - it is necessary to reduce the vibrations, to remove the waves and gradually reach a full peace. If you will perfect at this even further, then you will go into a stable peace, the breath will go away, the heart will almost stop beating and A Yin spirit YINSHEN will be able to leave of the body. This is what actually called enlightenment in the late Chan Buddhism. In addition, this work may lead to the improvement of specific abilities. This spirit is something that in many cultures is called a ghost. This spirit is identical to the soul that leaves the body at death – which is also called YINSHEN. However, in contrast to the dying person, the spirit of the practitioner is connected to the body. When this out of the body experience happens, and then the spirit returns to the body, there are the certain signs which indicate that it did really happen. However many modern practitioners do not get out of the body, and with closed eyes travel in their fantasies. And that is a different phenomenon. All religions and the latest doctrines hope for such an out of body experience, hence the attention to MORALITY is so strong. Control the passions - that's their main slogan. If such a practitioner has not reached the mastery, he, at his death like all the dead souls, will go to a worser world (hell - in Christian terminology). After death the life memories of an ordinary person is not preserved, but the memories of a person, who has attained perfection at YINSHEN, will be preserved. But he can’t do anything with it and he can’t be reborn as a human being again. The teacher for him can only be another Yin spirit, i.e. another being from the lower worlds. The upper worlds are closed for the YINSHEN. Xing and Ming are the separated parts of the primordial Unity. If Xing is a Yin part, then Ming is a Yang part. The YIN spirit (i.e. Xing) is inert and has no energy, and therefore he can’t rise to higher worlds. He needs energy similarly to a rocket needing fuel for the takeoff. Using only the meditation and any methods tied to Xing only changes the Yin'S characteristics, but makes no qualitative change. The ancient Taoist tradition (and with it those that I have already mentioned) uses the energy of Ming for fusion with Xing. Thus it turns these two into a Yang Spirit , also called a Tao fetus, who has the real potential and can move to higher worlds. So it is the Fusion of the energy Ming with the soul Xing that is the essence of alchemy. Thus, the goal of alchemy - to fuse the soul Xing with the energy Ming and creating a yang Spirit – a Tao fetus, who has the real potential and can move to higher worlds. How to perfect Xing you can understand by yourself or from the books, but how to perfect Ming you can get only in oral precepts of your Teacher. And important question is: Why it is so? Because of the fact that the secret of Ming is the secret of Life and Death! In carrying out the practice Ming the person violates a natural law (remember the saying "studying from the nature"). This law establishes that an ordinary person SHOULD BE BORN, GROW, LEAVE OR NO AFTER HIMSELF HIS PROGENY AND HIS ACTIONS, THEN GROW OLD AND DIE. Recall the Taoist phrase: "My destiny (MING!) is inside me, it is not from Heaven!" That is, a Taoist does not follow “the Nature", but instead overcomes it and goes against it. The method passed on by a Teacher is not so complicated, so everyone can change their destiny - Ming. You do not need a special morality, you just need hard work and persistence. An ordinary person, even talented, does not have enough time to do too much of anything – whether good or evil. At childhood and at youth there are a lot of unconscious, automatic behavior. At maturity, when you just started to get your strength, the diseases and decline start to kick in. When a person reaches the top of his comprehensions of the meaning of life, ironically there is no longer the strength to do something. As well said by Zhang Boduan: "Human life is so much as bubble on the water; yesterday one was on a horse, and now the corpse lies in the coffin, immersed in a death dream". "Remember the Death" – is one of the principles of ancient traditions. And now you can change your destiny, prolong life. What does this mean for mankind? Is this possible without responsibility? So, why Xing can be understood by yourself or from books? Because the mind works rather manifestly, if we just watch it, we can understand that it is useful not to be overly emotional; the calm mind brings feelings of purity and reinvigoration, etc. If you go further, you can even bring out your own spirit from the body (Yin of course). However, it should be done carefully, because if a person is weak, the spirit will not return to the body and a death will occur. Therefore, you can learn it by yourself or from the books. As for Ming, then the person can’t understand anything. He could only feel the difference between a young age and the old one etc, but it is difficult to determine whether the energy flows out, or comes in. To see all of these processes clearly you need to be already a being with the cosmic level of thinking. Every second of life staying in the illusion of a permanence, we actually run on an invisible treadmill. What happens to the Universe, how are the energies change, who does understand this now? I.e. to replenish the Ming a new you should be able to change with the cosmos, picking what assists to this task and rejecting anything else. This is the doctrine of changes of the ancient Chinese. How can modern people understand that, living by a bland clock hours and practicing in accordingly? At any modern qigong you will hear that the time and space do not matter, that your practice of qigong helps you “go beyond the natural laws”. And this is said about ordinary people who are can’t even get rid of the laws of heat and cold, food and hunger, but presume to “get rid of the influence of the Cosmos”! So then the modern person has no alternative, but to seek a direct transmission of knowledge , which stems from the time, when the mankind have a clear understanding of cosmic laws. Of course, we can assume that a genius who can understand these law without could be born. But such an extraordinary person will not need anything at all from this world let alone a transmission. On the other hand there exist fake methods invented by ordinary people, these methods are usually only a projection of their mind and have nothing to do with the laws of Cosmos. Here is an example: Did Someone deciphered the Yi Jing? I think the answer is obvious. Hence stem here need for the personal transmission. In this case firstly there will be no distortions, and secondly there will be personalized training for each person. Thirdly, in order to avoid deviations the practice will be done under the oversight of Teacher (and not like today, in stadiums, where participants do anything they want). Also, a ritual of accepting a student is a promise by the Teacher to be personally responsible for his student, to vouch for him, including with teachers own destiny... 古圣有言曰命由性修 性由命立 命者炁也性者神也炁 则本不离神神则有时 离炁 Ancient sages said: Ming is perfected starting from Xing. Because you need the true spiritual condition to find your Teacher and then to practise, i.e. you need the correct state of mind while practicing. Xing is established starting from Ming. Without repleniching and perfecting of Ming the true spiritual work is impossible. Qi is inherently inseparable from the Shen (the spirit). If qi ever comes apart from shen, there will be an instant death. So while the person is alive they are inseparable. (This refers to the out of body experiences of the spirit when qi remains in the body) The author © Dmitry A. Artemyev Notes: * While the character reads qi in the both first and the second example, it refers to a different energy. Doctors know only the post heaven energy - houtian, while Taoists practise with pre-heaven one - xiantian... Therefore, doctors don not understand what is contained in the kidneys, mistakenly writing 元氣. Ming and the primordial qi (the Taoist one) are the same. Xiantian – pre-heaven, given before birth and can’t be changed in the direction of the increasing by the ordinary man. Houtian – post heaven, the energy that "feeds" a man after the birth: food, water, air, external qi ... a lot of things, but the main thing is that it can’t replace the pre-heaven energy... Ming is not located exactly in the kidneys but is closely tied to them, as the system of the kidneys is a a part of a reproducing- discharging system of the human body, so the kidneys spend their energy directly for the purpose of reproducing...
  22. An Altar for Sree

I usually get confirmation from other people and beings in the dream state, but it doesn't mean I always agree with said path or what I am aiming for. There is no path, but the path itself. There is no confirmation, besides the one you realize for yourself and are willing to acknowledge.
  23. Can Kundalini "burn up" entities?

Yea, once you awaken and become more aware of your subconscious mind dreams tend to get very interesting. I stopped masturbating a bout year ago, funny story, and actually had a dream of a demon who was trying to tell me to start masturbating again through my old philosophy teacher and then I saw it's face with red eyes and a grin like the joker... Strangest dream ever. lolz. Energy vampires.
  24. An Altar for Sree

Indeed. I guess I should extrapolate on the point i was trying to make. It is not the altar or customs that make one spiritual. It is the Spirit that made the altar or customs. Just how Catholics, Orthodox Christians, Voodoo's, and dare I even say Satanist who have their own altars... Now if one is willing to get into a discussion concerning the relevance of how altars are symbolic and can be anchors for and in one's subconscious mind, this I am willing to invest time in. Reason being, I remember going out of body once and found myself some where near the Vatican and went underground to this basement that had a cross of some kind with a bunch of jewelery. No idea what that dream was about or why I was there. The only thing that came to mind was this item held a energetic relevance some how. lolz. Sort of like Zelda.
  25. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Aliens? Are they kind (good)? Is not it mind game? Is it spiritual to have such connections? I am reading C. Castaneda's books again after 8 years and find it very inspiring. But many authentic traditions (even taoist) stand to avoid these contacts. Do you do any special practice like lucid dreaming? I am just trying to be more aware at the day time and consider it as a dream and not to miss my practice. As for late practice meditations from DVD2 it does not make me "awake", I do not do 90 80 50 20. And sleep very well. I just wonder should we develop lucid dreaming or may be we need good rest at night time? Taoists say it dispersing much jing. And they even do some practice to avoid it. (I just have suspicion that Castaneda was taught in authentic lineage )
