  1. How did you get here?

Great to see Tao Bum dwellers teling their own experiences about revealing their true natures, real humans. I wish this could happen to the entire humanity. Unfortunately we all know it is an impossible dream The rest remain like this, sleeping beauties: I like to use this example even though it is just a movie. But hey when I first saw it I was still unawakened.
  2. Yes, I see where one can easily make the mistake of attributing an all encompassing entity as an explanation of experiencing a feeling of "oneness." The knowledge of dependent origination undoes that knot, but that too must not be clung to for then experience tries to grasp to the relationship between the entities within that dependence, when there are no substantial relationship or cause to be found. I am saying that there is no need to reject or affirm awareness. In fact there is no need to reject or affirm anything. How do you know that a rock is not conscious? How do you tell a dream from reality? How do you know the real from imagination? How do you know the past or the future? How do you know whether consciousness came first or awareness came second? Without relying on scriptures, can you explain to me how I can know these things first hand? The problem here is in assumption and knowing which become bases for causation of this and that. But upon cessation of this, all thats cease accordingly. And what is direct insight mean for you? How do you directly know something. Is it intuition? How can you tell if an intuition is true or false? Because a guru has told you? Investigation is based on imposition of things and definitions. There is no need to investigate further than the act of investigating itself. It is not a feeling of ignorance, but the wisdom of knowing why things arise as they do and that all arisings, when clung to as real and substantial, lead to its own cycle of causality. Birth does not only happen with the body, but with every idea, emotion, feeling, entity, clung to as substantial and causal. Is there a universe? The moment the mind says there is a universe, then it entraps itself into the universe. Are there sentient beings? Now there is a "me" and a "you." Is Buddha Awareness conditioned? Now there is the aspect of conditioning in experience. It might be that Buddha Awareness or just awareness itself is conditioned, that all events in our lives are conditioned by innumerable sentient beings interdependently reflecting one another. But by clinging to this structure, one is again conditioned into it. Awareness free of all things neither perceives nor not perceives these elements, they all appear like playful exchange of mirages. Where does this constant referring to the emptiness of things leave a practitioner. He becomes entrapped in the view itself. Also, I am not debating the reality of things, but the way of experiencing things. . And you may be right in all that you say, and I may need to investigate further, but I find further investigation actually detrimental to practice and feel it, I feel it literally like a cage, closing in on the natural openness of awareness. .
  3. Thanks for your good wishes; you sound like a yogi. Does Grandmaster speak of our dream state?
  4. Nagarjuna and Samkara

I think you need to get deeper into the experience. There is no solid discrepancy between anything, it's all empty and equally primordially pure, including thought forms. Only aparently on a certain level, but there are many dimensions. In the experience of emptiness as it is discussed in Dzogchen, there is no discrepancy... just the experience of kadag and rigpa. That's merely dialectical emptiness used in arguing the fact over the thought, yes, within the Madhyamaka two truths this is relative truth in order to understand ones habit patterns. This is not the only type of emptiness. Yes, it's good and true only from a certain perspective, but not the whole thing. The poem I've quoted below has many examples of both relative and ultimate emptiness as discussed in Madhyamaka. As well as the Kadag type of emptiness discussed in Dzogchen. See if you can make it out, but I highlighted a number of examples. From Nagarjuna: Nagarjuna's Mahamudra Vision Homage to Manjusrikumarabhuta! 1. I bow down to the all-powerful Buddha Whose mind is free of attachment, Who in his compassion and wisdom Has taught the inexpressible. 2. In truth there is no birth - Then surely no cessation or liberation; The Buddha is like the sky And all beings have that nature. 3. Neither Samsara nor Nirvana exist, But all is a complex continuum With an intrinsic face of void, The object of ultimate awareness. 4. The nature of all things Appears like a reflection, Pure and naturally quiescent, With a non-dual identity of suchness. 5. The common mind imagines a self Where there is nothing at all, And it conceives of emotional states - Happiness, suffering, and equanimity. 6. The six states of being in Samsara, The happiness of heaven, The suffering of hell, Are all false creations, figments of mind. 7. Likewise the ideas of bad action causing suffering, Old age, disease and death, And the idea that virtue leads to happiness, Are mere ideas, unreal notions. 8. Like an artist frightened By the devil he paints, The sufferer in Samsara Is terrified by his own imagination. 9. Like a man caught in quicksands Thrashing and struggling about, So beings drown In the mess of their own thoughts. 10. Mistaking fantasy for reality Causes an experience of suffering; Mind is poisoned by interpretation Of consciousness of form. 11. Dissolving figment and fantasy With a mind of compassionate insight, Remain in perfect awareness In order to help all beings. 12. So acquiring conventional virtue Freed from the web of interpretive thought, Insurpassable understanding is gained As Buddha, friend to the world. 13. Knowing the relativity of all, The ultimate truth is always seen; Dismissing the idea of beginning, middle and end The flow is seen as Emptiness. = I'm talking about this. 14. So all samsara and nirvana is seen as it is - Empty and insubstantial, Naked and changeless, Eternally quiescent and illumined. = and this. 15. As the figments of a dream Dissolve upon waking, So the confusion of Samsara Fades away in enlightenment. 16. Idealising things of no substance As eternal, substantial and satisfying, Shrouding them in a fog of desire The round of existence arises. 17. The nature of beings is unborn Yet commonly beings are conceived to exist; Both beings and their ideas Are false beliefs. = you're talking more about this. 18. It is nothing but an artifice of mind This birth into an illusory becoming, Into a world of good and evil action With good or bad rebirth to follow. 19. When the wheel of mind ceases to turn All things come to an end. So there is nothing inherently substantial And all things are utterly pure. = I'm talking more about this. 20. This great ocean of samsara, Full of delusive thought, Can be crossed in the boat Universal Approach. Who can reach the other side without it? Colophon The Twenty Mahayana Verses, (in Sanskrit, Mahayanavimsaka; in Tibetan: Theg pa chen po nyi shu pa) were composed by the master Nagarjuna. They were translated into Tibetan by the Kashmiri Pandit Ananda and the Bhikshu translator Drakjor Sherab (Grags 'byor shes rab). They have been translated into English by the Anagarika Kunzang Tenzin on the last day of the year 1973 in the hope that the karma of the year may be mitigated. May all beings be happy!

  7. Modern Life

Yes, manitou, I have something similar that is difficult, that has to do with the collective. I am most cutely aware/uncomfortable with it in the early hours of the morning, or when I first wake up. I have had an incredibly vivid dream life lately, affected perhaps by some of the supplements I take, at times lucid, but my dreams seem to unfold in 'real-time', and take me so deeply to another existence, it becomes actually painful, and temporarily unbearable, to come back to this reality. I have to bring myself fully into the present, and let the world slowly come back in...I think it's similar to what you are describing.
  8. Taoist Problem Solving Methods

I don't identify as Taoist per se and have little experience with the systems associated with them, which is one of my reasons for coming here. Therefore, I am not what you are directly looking for, but I have a thought that might help you, even if it may seem basic and often repeated: When working on problems, I mainly use my intellect to analyse. It is both a tool towards finding a solution and also a hindrance for accomplishing it. I am sure you are familiar with the idea of trying too hard to solve something and then missing the solution, which may be hidden in plain sight. Therefore, there might be other parts of the human being that can, at least in an "ordinary" man, only surface when the "lower" intellect comes to a rest- in the dream state for example. It is also rather obvious that many flashes of insight happen in a state of reverie, as you describe- which is another way to integrate more of your being towards finding a solution for a problem you are working on by letting you drift into another state of consciousness, which makes daydreaming and creative visualisation possible, amongst other things. With this thought, I think it is possible to say that solutions have a greater chance of being found once the tight grip of some part of yours- not just the intellect, mind you - loosens and opens up. Is is entirely possible that a part of "you" has the necessary piece of information that completes a puzzle you are working on- but you will not "access" it if you do not loosen up. Now all of this is nearly a given for everyone who has ever taken a step back to acquire a greater view of the overall picture. But I think you are asking for specific approaches to gaining these insights more often? If so, then I would have to say that there is probably no particular technique for making this more frequent as all correct meditation practises and energy developing practises open up the human being, making insights and breakthroughs more frequent. It is part of the natural process and can only be "influenced" in so far as one is ready to engage actively in those practises which, in the end, form a more coherent being. There might also be something to the idea that lifelong commitment to intellectual development and meditational practise develops your faculties for receiving such revelations as we can't receive what we don't have capacity for. What these faculties may be, beyond the five senses, may be tied to the receptor and ligand binding affinity and how they can be evolved to greater functioning in some way. I don't have the exact picture but that might be a clue as you have said that you have an affinity for chemistry. Therefore, it is necessary to increase -capacity to receive information -open up the body which is directly correlated to a more "functional" mind which, in turn, broadens your perception of what you assume to be the reality around you. It should be obvious how meditation and the various energy arts which- in the end- are indistinguishable from formal meditation, help with this. As such, I think that is possible to reduce most approaches to these basic points that aim to improve the sensory acuity of the human being beyond the five senses to receive more information until an objective view of reality is possible- that is at least the ideal I assume. EDIT: There might be a problem with this approach. I work as a linguist and researcher in mainly the yogic arts and I am aware of the problem of projecting a scientific mindset of categorisation and especially "extraction/isolation" on so-called "spiritual paths". It is tempting to go look for a specific "method" to improve a certain part of yourself that you desire to improve. But I have come to the realisation that a great amount of self-knowledge and critical thinking would be needed to accomplish that. This is not likely to happen until great proficiency in any art is reached. And the greatest problem is that few "methods" that you can find embedded into any religious tradition still carries the "why's and how's". You are mainly taught to follow a certain training until you reach gnosis- mainly because conceptualisation only gets you so far- this is a reverse to common western thinking which now demands the why's and how's in ready-made conceptual form before you undertake any practise. And as I have pointed out, the intellect is both a helper and hindrance- depending on how you use it and approach your overall being. How you go about this may trigger insights. But to "force" it with a "method" specifically designed to do that is projecting a very specific mindset on traditions which simply do not(and can not) work this way. Not because of the tradition but because of the make up of the human being- at least as I understand it at the moment. The only pattern that I can see is that flashes of insight needed for a breakthrough come through such a myriad amount of ways that one of the only common things about them is the idea that a long period of contemplation and hard work is crowned by the final insight gained in a- at times- non-ordinary(read: non-beta waves) state of consciousness. If I wanted to find out how, for example, Einstein in your quote came to that stroke of insight and how to repeat it with a method predictably it would be a kind of interference with what I assume to be the natural learning process. And you would have to assume a complete knowledge of the exact structure of all the bodies of man and how they work together. I would especially have to know where that flash of insight came from and how it entered my mind- in other words, how visions, synchronous events and all sorts of electromagnetic anomalia happen or how dreams can- at times- hold a key towars understanding a certain problem. As far as I know, there is no precise knowledge of that in western science and you only find allusions to it in the fragmentary traditions of the world. I see this discussion opening a can of worms as a wide array of concepts would have to be laid out to even correctly explain the dichotomies at work here, nevermind the problems you might encounter approaching eastern traditions with the motivation to make something predictably happen in a lab setting.
  9. On behalf of Dragongatenyc as Jeannette is busy with New Year's celebrations, let me help clarify this for you. First of all, Ken, you should definitely have a direct chat with Master Wang before you assume you have the correct mindset and are defending the correct information, because you are in fact making a big mistake by defending kathy who is very guilty of misrepresentation. kathy has posted insulting messages and lies all over taobums since the fall of 2010 and now students simply are offended so it is her bad seeds that are sprouting. http://www.thetaobum...1entry227093. this is what Richard meant (see other thread regarding Grandmaster's intensive) about Master Wang's wife and family and other Taoists NOT being involved. here kathy creates nonexistent vicious rumors. Jeannette has Grandmaster's permission and blessings to promote him. still it was her the vision and repeated request to support Grandmaster as a team which kathy has refused and abused. Instead it is kathy's dream to be the only one in the US who is allowed to support Grandmaster. Instead of being happy that together with Jeannette, they could capably offer Grandmaster more support as a team, kathy sets out to attack her in every way she could imagine. Jeannette has known kathy for a few years (personal attacks and insinuations edited by moderator)#### although it remains Dragongatenyc's vision still to someday harmoniously support Grandmaster together with kathy, perhaps it is too optimistic given the present facts. Our primary goal at Dragongatenyc, the collective student union for Grandmaster, is to provide him the best support despite any obstacle. Grandmaster and Jeannette had preset the April 2011 Intensive dates after the August 2010 Intensive, so when Grandmaster corrected kathy about her incorrect posting of the April Intensive dates, she cried that her students had already booked flights for April 15th, which is earlier than the original preset dates. As our first obligation is to our students, Jeannette will now have to miss her final exams in oriental medicine this April 2011. This is the kind of unreasonable, unkind behavior that kathy has displayed in addition to inappropriately apologizing to the student for charging the correct price of $3900 for the Intensive. Richard we understand is wonderful and not really involved on taobums anymore after last night's post (unproved insinuations of stolen identity edited by moderator) #### For August 2010, Jeannette certainly organized a good sized group of many students to attend Master Wang's Intensive; domestic and international students attended. In addition, another translator organized a group as well, with NO relation to kathy li, and thus with no help or knowledge from her. Yet she seeks to claim her part in organizing both April and August Intensives when it was Jeannette who did the actual work of making both a reality. Through and through, the Intensive price is $3900 for new students and discounted for old students. This is a known fact. No student paid more than this price so don't make up any fiction. If the translator requests that you pay the fee, that is her option; it's not an easy job and she should be compensated. The entire fee of $3900 is always given directly to Grandmaster at the start of the Intensive to distribute with his translator as he deems appropriate. Dragongatenyc, Jeannette and and all volunteer students make absolutely no money as their sole objective is to support Grandmaster. and you, Ken, i understand in fact, you weren't supposed to receive the student discount because it was your first Intensive with Grandmaster but Jeannette kindly allowed you the discount because you were already on the path with another teacher. search your memory bank, you paid $3700 total. You should meditate clearly, and support without bias with three of your eyes open. what you see here today is just karma unfolding; equations coming to a balance. Jeannette's motivation is to promote Grandmaster on her discussion thread and repeatedly kathy attacked her about receiving bonuses. as all this is completely untrue, please, Ken, please we ask you to speak directly with Grandmaster and kindly repost your findings. we look forward to hearing from you then.
  10. The Bahiya Sutta is a teaching, a way of practice. I don't believe it is indication of the enlightened state. Seeing is ungraspable, one shouldn't experience in terms of seeing, eating, feeling. That is a way of understanding, but not the final state of liberation. One should understand the unfindeabilty of "seeing, eating, feeling" then there is seeing, eating and feeling in a dynamic play. But the difference is really beyond words. No, I am saying that whether awareness is dependent or non-dependent in its very existence is unknowable. (but in regards to its contents, I do see the application of dependent origination) You cannot know it, and in my point of view, it is important that one accept th mystery of being and abide is the ever openness that result from it. There is a tendency for seeker to try to ascertain the exact way of things, and when that effort goes too far, we fall into logical structures that are arbitrary to the very experience of what is right now. No I don't agree with awareness being a containment, everything IS awareness, because ultimately that is the only thing we can ascertain about our very existence. It's not even being certain, it's about being stripped naked about all our attempts to construct a model of reality. Not even Truth or ANY structure bounds, there is no one to bound, the liberated one is nowhere and ungraspable, everything is experience as a dream! I might be wrong, but when one is thinking "there is this process" or "there is me interdependent on something else" one inevitably takes the experience of this very moment and attributes it to another factor. It is a subtle duality of "part" to a "whole." Conceptually, I think this is good, but experientially, one even has to let go of this notion. One doen't feel process, one feels boundless expression. Creation for creation sakes, a fearless openness. So yes, the close we can get to this in words is: "just...sound of phone ringing" then gone.
  11. Excellent philosophical analysis, my friend! The very fact that Non's posts strike such a deep chord of fundamental unease within so many people here indicates that some far deeper issues are at play rather than merely female biological sexual attraction. So, while most would here would like to simply sweep all this under the rug...to a philosopher or psychoanalyst - this is the equvialent to getting a BIG, tugging bite on your fishing line! Far from letting this go...this may be a huge trophy catch that they really want to reel in and land! What it comes down to then is the possibility that our human bodies are all merely robots preprogrammed for survival in this 3D realm. Attraction, sex & "love" are merely evo psych & game theory means to this end and ultimately nothing more than that. PUA and ongoing scientific studies have both proven the general validity of this. So, our whole existence here is equivalent to an elaborate VR video game. Ultimately, this possibility is what deeply disturbs both Non and all his fervent detractors. Everyone here wants to believe that our lives on Earth are so noble, meaningful and more than just a global game of Survivor. That it's all so REAL...(and not scripted). However, contemporary enlightened people (Jed McKenna's, Steven Norquist's, Tony Parsons's, etc) actually essentially argue otherwise...that our very "selves" and "free will" are all illusive and that "love" (parental pair-bonding) is merely a clinging based upon all these "illusions." That life on Earth is the ultimate Game (which is also the title of the PUA "Bible," btw). And anything you experience in the flesh here is ultimately about as real as a dream...

My link My link This looks like a really cool idea. Supposedly it's planned to be finished in 2020. It's funny I saw this, because growing up I would sometimes day dream the city of the future would look like this (except with flying cars dammit! LOL:) What do you guys think?
  14. How long does a Tao bum sleep?

I can slip in and out of polyphasic sleeping. It is a state where deep sleep is suspended or reduced (0-4 hours a night), and dream sleep is divided into 20 minute segments and sprinkled throughout the day (every 4 hours). During some of my wilder adventures Ive spent several days, while only pretending to sleep. I usually prefer 8 hours because its healthier.
  15. from: http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/viewpoints/articles/0406vip-mcpherson0406.html End of the world as we know it You might feel fine, but high oil cost, scarcity mean American Empire is about to come crashing down. Guy R. McPherson University of Arizona professor Apr. 6, 2008 12:00 AM Peak oil spells the end of civilization. And, if it's not already too late, perhaps it will prevent the extinction of our species. M. King Hubbert, a petroleum geologist employed by Shell Oil Co., described peak oil in 1956. Production of crude oil, like the production of many non-renewable resources, follows a bell-shaped curve. The top of the curve is termed "peak oil," or "Hubbert's peak," and it represents the halfway point for production. The bell-shaped curve applies at all levels, from field to country to planet. After discovery, production ramps up relatively quickly. But when the light, sweet crude on top of the field runs out, increased energy and expense are required to extract the underlying heavy, sour crude. At some point, the energy required to extract a barrel of oil exceeds the energy contained in barrel of oil, so the pumps shut down. advertisement Most of the world's oil pumps are about to shut down. We have sufficient supply to keep the world running for 30 years or so, at the current level of demand. But that's irrelevant because the days of inexpensive oil are behind us. And the American Empire absolutely demands cheap oil. Never mind the 3,000-mile Caesar salad to which we've become accustomed. Cheap oil forms the basis for the 12,000-mile supply chain underlying the "just-in-time" delivery of plastic toys from China. There goes next year's iPod. In 1956, Hubbert predicted the continental United States would peak in 1970. He was correct, and the 1970s gave us a small, temporary taste of the sociopolitical and economic consequences of expensive oil. We passed the world oil peak in 2005, and we've been easing down the other side by acquiring oil at the point of a gun - actually, guns are the smallest of the many weapons we're using - paying more for oil and destroying one culture after another as the high price of crude oil forces supply disruptions and power outages in Third World countries. The world peaked at 74.3 million barrels per day in May 2005. The two-year decline to 73.2 million barrels per day produced a doubling of the price of crude. Later this year, we fall off the oil-supply cliff, with global supply plummeting below 70 million barrels/day. Oil at merely $100 per barrel will seem like the good old days. Within a decade, we'll be staring down the barrel of a crisis: Oil at $400 per barrel brings down the American Empire, the project of globalization and water coming through the taps. Never mind happy motoring through the never-ending suburbs in the Valley of the Sun. In a decade, unemployment will be approaching 100 percent, inflation will be running at 1,000 percent and central heating will be a pipe dream. In short, this country will be well on its way to the post-industrial Stone Age. After all, no alternative energy sources scale up to the level of a few million people, much less the 6.5 billion who currently occupy Earth. Oil is necessary to extract and deliver coal and natural gas. Oil is needed to produce solar panels and wind turbines, and to maintain the electrical grid. Ninety percent of the oil consumed in this country is burned by airplanes, ships, trains and automobiles. You can kiss goodbye groceries at the local big-box grocery store: Our entire system of food production and delivery depends on cheap oil. If you're alive in a decade, it will be because you've figured out how to forage locally. The death and suffering will be unimaginable. We have come to depend on cheap oil for the delivery of food, water, shelter and medicine. Most of us are incapable of supplying these four key elements of personal survival, so trouble lies ahead when we are forced to develop means of acquiring them that don't involve a quick trip to Wal-Mart. On the other hand, the forthcoming cessation of economic growth is truly good news for the world's species and cultures. In addition, the abrupt halt of fossil-fuel consumption may slow the warming of our planetary home, thereby preventing our extinction at our own hand. Our individual survival, and our common future, depends on our ability to quickly make other arrangements. We can view this as a personal challenge, or we can take the Hemingway out. The choice is ours. For individuals interested in making other arrangements, it's time to start acquiring myriad requisite skills. It is far too late to save civilization for 300 million Americans, much less the rest of the planet's citizens, but we can take joy in a purpose-filled, intimate life. It's time to push away from the shore, to let the winds of change catch the sails of our leaky boat. It's time to trust in ourselves, our neighbors and the Earth that sustains us all. Painful though it might be, it's time to abandon the cruise ship of empire in exchange for a lifeboat. Guy R. McPherson is a professor of conservation biology at the University of Arizona.
  16. HOW TO OVERCOME ALIENS ARCHONS AND THE PHYSICAL PRISON

That reminds me of a vivid dream I once had Leon. I remember also reading a book written by Robert Monroe the OBE guy. He described a journey he had where he came to find out spirits were attracted to the physical in some way but then became trapped and the energy they expelled while here was the energy harvested by the energy beings that controlled the area/Earth/planes. This was why everything was stacked against them being able to develop enough velocity/vibration in order for them to leave. Not so keen on the use of the word 'Alien' though, as it makes me think of 'spoon men'(close encounters of the third kind). I don't think 'Alien' can be used effectively for what it is trying to describe. It kind of misleads due to our mis-conception of it.
  17. The Weak Yin And Weak Yang Problem

    - Hmmm this ia a very interesting topic - I Grew up with a mother who is extremely yang - she is absolutely ferocious - some experience with kundalini- but you know she completely tries to dominate everyone - she is a bully - she has been her whole life - it is funny - but in regards to becoming more yang- My mother would not let me do anything - she was completely suffocating - I ended up wrestling in high school which if you know anything about it is the one of the most yang things you can do - This was my obsession - High intensity weight lifting - complete extreme obsessive control type things with a very strong yang component - One thing I noticed however is that doing these extreme yang activities often make me more shy - I dont know if it because of some type of adrenal burnout or being so fired up that I cant control the juice- so sometimes the more "healthy" activities seem to lead to more shyness- so ironically it seems like I am often very yin out of fear because I cant control all the yang energy I have and it seems very hard in todays society to ex- press certain yang characteristics - and I did so much extreme yang exercise for so many years it can acually be very painful to me to be that yang - Another thing is it seems to shift in me - almost like multiple personalities - one day I may be a more yang type alpha male and much more confident and un self conscious - Next day same situations - terrified and so shy I can barely talk - But u know I have mood and perception abnormalities and what seems like some type of autistic problem It is very nice to be around nurturing females- This is something I didnt think I would ever say but it can be stabilizing to be around very old women- But u know girls in general are just great as long as they are not cynical Ironically I had a dream where I was in the kitchen at home and my father was gnawing on my testicles He was eating them and it was killing me - Then he turned into a demon and my body was being torn apart - I was dying

I don't know which girl or realization broke your heart. But do yourself a favor and drop it, for your own growth. If you keep sitting home wondering about could happen and being cynical/speculative about the truth. You'll never ever move foward. Maybe, but I dare to dream
  20. The After Death Question

If you heart stops beating and you lungs stop breathing for 30 minutes, are you dead? What if they stopped for only 5 minutes? Have you ever wakened from a dream, or fallen asleep and suddenly recall what exists between the two? There is a gap there. A fine line between one kind of experience and the next. Where is that gap? What does it look like? What do you feel like as you go through it? What is the 'you' that passes through?
  21. Q: Meditation sleepy

I have meditated and done energy work within a lucid dream. The energetic sensations inside the body are amplified 1000 fold, and it is easy to focus the mind with little mind noise (monkey mind).
  22. Spiritual Development and Siddhis

I am not talking about all those people who experience some kind of energy movement in their energy body and call that kundalini. Not every energy movement is kundalini, even if its breath taking. By that low standard, I would be a veritable kundalini master. Even Gopi Krishna's extreme energy movement is not kundalini. Or some people dream about a snake and call that kundalini. Is this what you believe?
  23. Plane of infinite awareness

Hi Rainbow! Well that's an interesting question. I had done dreamwork for a long time. So my dreams were pretty refined already, not lots of jumble. Twas just that my sleep made a big step into silence. It was lovely. I adjusted fine. It amused me and I wondered what exactly had happened that my unconscious had nothing to tell me.. but my dreams had shifted already into being augurs of my psychic development, some years earlier. The people close to me work with their dreams too so it wasnt an issue really, just something to smile about. The high level impact of energy work on the psyche was kind of a "oh!" It was interesting all in all to feel the deeper clarity that came instantly. I felt like my windows had been washed, and I hadnt even realised they were smeared. Of course as you know, this clearing just goes on and on.. The actual content of my dreams I dont share unless the time is right and it has something to give someone, like if I dream about someone close to me. If it seems it might be useful. Otherwise , no, I think it is for my benefit that I am being shown something. As yet, I havent felt moved to get a sandwich board out and inform the world of anything..
  24. Question about meditation

An advanced practitioner can do it in a few breaths. You should be able to trust your intuition to see how long it takes you. In my experience when i energize a part of my body it sot of lights up. There is usually tingleing, hot or cold, colors, pulses, and vortexes. Its very subtle. almost like a dream.
  25. Spiritual Development and Siddhis

Actually its an absolute requirement. "If you cannot do a full wake induced real time OBE, with full reentry, it is highly unlikely you will be able to induce a full kundalini raising....If you disagree with this dream on...."-Robert Bruce Now why does Robert say this? If you cannot OBE whenever you want to, it means you have not mastered trance and energy work.
