Yeah, and thank you for being here and sharing your experiences. The title of this thread caused me to think about the Native American Dream Catchers. I have a number of them around the house that were presented to me by an organization I help support. Peace & Love!

Ok, I don't have any stories about juices, but I thought I would offer something about sacred art. Brian Stross at U of Texas has an article at "http://research.famsi.org/aztlan/uploads/papers/stross-sacrum.pdf" (it's a PDF) titled Mesoamerican sacrum bone: doorway to the otherworld, in which he contends that some of the sacred art in Latin America depicts the sacrum, which was held in special revere by the shamans of the area. Difficult to describe things that can't really be done, yet I hold to my understanding, which is that the two respirations utilize the sense of place in the occurrence of consciousness to align the body to open feeling. The two respirations are pulmonary, and cranial-sacral (rhythmic change in the volume of fluid in the dural sac). Because the cranial-sacral rhythm pivots the sacrum on the pelvis, and the stretches of ligaments and fascia that ensue can generate involuntary activity in the muscles of the legs and pelvis, the changes in cranial-sacral rhythm can cause action in the extensors up the back of the spine to move the bones that control the cranial-sacral rhythm (nerves along the sagittal suture). Thus, the rhythm generates the movement that generates the action that moves the bones that generate the rhythm, and the whole system can feed back. This can be large, or just sufficient for a recurrent sense of the location of consciousness through feeling. My guess is that when the sphenoid is involved in (relatively) large movements of the cranial bones, the pineal gland is affected, and psychic phenomena is realized. The psychic phenomena is real, yet is by nature a dream (the pineal produces melatonin), even if it is experienced by more than one person and even if it opens the akashic record. The alien taught that you can feel anywhere, beyond the limits of the senses. I tend to focus on the location of consciousness as a thing that moves, yet this is really the experience of the ability to feel that is enabled through the use of consciousness by the two respirations, and this is not limited to the boundaries of the senses.

Effilang I recommend the book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" translated by Charles Luk for the details on how the small universe opens up the central channel. The question you ask is a key question -- as Master Nan, Huai-chin and Bill Bodri emphasize -- what happens is that as the central channel opens for true kundalini then the practitioner falls back into worldliness. This is because the esoteric yoga visualization practices of the small universe and other tantra exercises do not rely on the emptiness as the foundation for the practice. So to continue into the advanced stages of the practice of the small universe visualization it's important to have a master who is supervising the guidance of the energy. Otherwise the emptiness remains the foundation and only true guide for the practice -- or as a left-brain focus it's the source of the I-thought that is listened to and the I-thought is emptied out as a Koan. So this is also called the "cessation and contemplation" practice in Buddhism. As for the "true" lower tan tien versus the false -- Master Nan, Huai-chin and Bodri also discuss this problem -- with the "false" being just the "wind" chi as the skanda of sensations. Master Yan Xin also states to not rely on your feelings in the meditation -- same thing. So in true meditation you actually have to first reach nirvikalpa samadhi -- as Vivekananda also emphasizes. Nirvikalpa samadhi, called the Emptiness in Taoism, is actually an advanced stage of meditation. At this stage it's like the body is in deep sleep -- because you don't feel it -- but, on the contrary, it's because the body is so filled up with electromagnetic chi energy that all the channels are open. At this stage you are doing astral travel but at the same time it's not "you" doing the astral travel since it's the emptiness as pure consciousness which guides the astral travel. The full lotus is considered the best way to keep this advanced stage of practice rooted so that there is a continual cycling of the energy -- a recharging of the electrochemical jing energy from external sources into the internal and an external transmission of the chi and shen energy for doing healing and spirit transformation. So the body is an empty vortex vessel for alchemical transformation -- like a tornado or a galaxy. The real energy masters though are able to use their left-brain intention or yi (as Yang Jwing Ming emphasizes) to store the chi and shen in the lower tan tien. As Bodri and Nan state it actually takes a great amount of stored up jing to create the chi and then enough stored up chi to create the shen. So real meditation is only when enough chi is stored in the lower tan tien to create enough shen for astral travel. There is also a less intense form of third eye energy called the "astral tube" which is the yin spirit body but not as developed. The more the yin spirit body is stored up and developed then a yang physical body can be created -- from the increased jing energy that is converted from the shen. So that's why in alchemy it's stated that it begins and ends with jing energy. I was just starting to access real meditation but before that happens a person also gets the spiritual powers of telekinesis, telepathy, precognition and healing energy. So since I was not in an isolated area and since I was taught healing then I used those powers. But when you use the powers it creates more energy imbalance which then has to be re-purified and built up again to further increase the powers. Also the energy at this stage is dangerous unless supervised by an energy master. So Chunyi Lin said that it's important not to get too overexcited (the heart energy gets very strong) or too afraid (the kidney energy gets very strong). He said at that advanced stage I should have called him on the phone and also at that advanced stage a person wants to be practicing out in Nature where the energy is more pure. As Master Ni, Hua-ching states "ghost pollution" is a real issue in the city. So you can also see ghosts at that stage in the practice when you've increased your chi enough to create shen. The shen is a spacetime vortex itself -- the biophoton or laser-love energy is quantum while spacetime is gravity and these two are opposites with spacetime as the period of the quantum frequency -- and the "phase" is the yi or intention that shifts the two together. Chunyi Lin says that the book "The Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbot is an accurate description of what it's like for an energy master -- so that, again, with the focus on emptiness which is FORMLESS, then external and internal reality are interwoven as a holograph. Yeah so the heart chakra is the central pivot as the SOUL energy which combines the external and internal reality with the lower tan tien as internal reality and the upper tan tien as external reality. The OHM from the heart chakra SINGS US into existence -- it's called "OMkara" http://srijagannatha.com/omkara.html That's the level of the "rainbow body" -- the Level 4 meditation in http://springforestqigong.com -- I also accessed this using the ayahuasca with the full lotus practice. So anyway for me what happened is that Chunyi Lin then transmitted energy to my third eye before my energy channels had closed up from my own training based on the "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" book. After Chunyi Lin touched my forehead then the center of my brain was permanently magnetized with bliss. Now I can "flex" my pineal gland but that is still relying on the vagus nerve channels -- the "ida" and "pingala" -- the jing energy creates heat from the electrochemical energy and the left brain first is opened up through the internal orgasmic climaxes. So the blockages clear out and the left brain fills with chi energy. Master Nan, Huai-chin and Bodri state this is why Buddha taught that the big left toe is important to focus on. As the chi channels first open then you feel the energy point on the big left toe!! haha. Anyway then the right brain chi opens up and then after that the central channel starts to open up. So then the first level of samadhi of bliss is achieved where the heart chakra opens up and the heart chakra then opens up the third eye. After that central channel starts to open up then there is more of a holographic interaction between external and internal reality -- so that being awake is also like a dream and dreams then become precognitive and while being awake there is the external transmissions through the pineal gland. Transmissions while awake for me are mainly from the jing energy which is the etheric body while the astral body is the chi and shen. So a "chi" transmission is a combination of jing, chi and shen and the more advanced the energy level the more the transmission is shen energy which then finally becomes jing again as another physical body. At night if you have flying dreams, as Nan and Bodri state, that means the chi energy is built up in the brain -- from having converted it from the jing energy. While dreams that are precognitive are from the astral body as the yin energy -- which means there's been conversion of chi into shen. So the energy is always transforming from the emptiness which is always-already -- we exist within the emptiness -- which is the eternal transformation, creation and destruction of matter from light out of spacetime transformation. The process is impersonal but since it happens through the heart chakra then the love emotion with also the compassion of heart break has to become more and more stronger as the energy increases. What happens is that the lung energy as sadness turns to courage and then to compassion with the heart as love -- as the breathing slows down and as the chi increases the body converts to breathing through the chi energy. So the centers of the hands and feet pulsate with chi energy and the top of the head pulsates with chi energy as well as the perineum. At that point is when the "cessation of achievement" arrives -- which is the natural fasting as energy feasting -- so in the book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" this is described in detail. You can convert the chi back into water through electrolysis and also create nutrients through the chi as well -- but converting the jing into chi is dangerous again, as if your jing energy gets taken away by others then it can be very damaging. This is when the energy is directly dealing with the shen realm of spirits and you're doing spirit exorcism of others -- and since modern people are possessed by spirits this is dangerous. So Chunyi Lin does spirit exorcism of places and people as well. As the process continues the chi, if successfully stored in the lower tan tien, is converted more and more into shen energy for opening up the third eye. So the more you can store the chi to create shen the more you can open up the third eye -- and if this process is stabilized then the third eye is "fully opened." But this stage of fully opening the third eye is very very rare yet after it is achieved then real shen-based astral travel can be conducted for real long distance healing. As Jim Nance states when he does long distance energy healing -- he's really THERE. The shen vision state is MORE REAL than being "awake." More vivid, more lucid -- direct perception, etc. Also the shen transmission through the third eye feels like a laser when it's done to you and then you see light and experience amazing bliss as real love. Still the love energy as the heart chakra remains the pivot as the soul energy -- as Chunyi Lin says the love energy is always there even if we are not aware of it.

Wow... Cool Thanks, I was worried there for a minute. I felt very light, had covers over me. So I will stay at my work. Any suggestions for me? Sounds like I need to be doing some other practices, I'm sure. Does this happen to everyone? Flying... I us to dream. I would fly, all over the place. So Tai-chi and qigong... I live in the middle of no where. Just start reading, and getting some CD's and practice this way. I have had no training in this, just started meditating. Does this come to some people quicker than others, or all the same? Thank you for answering this for me. I don't feel to weird now. That was scary admitting that one. Didn't want the white coats to show up...lol Ok... Take care, Thanks again... Melanie

Yes I know what you are talking about, I think you are talking about "Dream Walking" which is close but a little different. Someone please correct me if I have the wrong term, this is close to it though... But no.. I don't have any Native American blood, that would be cool though. I was told I did, and we traced the family tree to find none. But if you are talking about the same thing... Sorry I wasn't trying to correct you. I just have heard of people becoming very skilled at this as well. And it is similar... Thats another good subject to talk about though... Mel

SFJ, It seems you like to explore C.G. Jung's images of dream interpretation. Others have used this method of water imagery - such as: "Prophetic Method of Nostradamus Nostradamus used a variety of magical arts and tools to induce ecstatic trances. Visions came to him through flame or water gazing, sometimes both together. he also followed the practice of Branchus, a Delphic priestess of ancient Greece, requiring him to sit, spine erect, on a brass tripod, the legs of which were angled at the same degree as the Egyptian pyramids. The upright position, and possibly the use of nutmeg (a mild hallucinogen when consumed in sufficient quantity -- [deadly when the dose is too large]), stimulated the mind; the angle of the tripod legs was thought to create a bioelectric force which would sharpen psychic powers. Or the prophet would stand or sit before a tripod that held a brass bowl filled with steaming water and pungent oils. "I emptied my soul, brain and heart of all care and attained a state of tranquillity and stillness of mind which are prerequisites for predicting by means of the brass tripod." http://www.dreamscape.com/morgana/method.htm

BRIDGE Dream arch shimmers in storm clouds: Bridge between heaven and earth. Its entrance is hard to find. In legends, they say that the rainbow is the bridge between heaven and earth. Think how difficult it is to walk this bridge. Not only does it appear very seldom, but we cannot easily find it. It seems to be just at the horizon, but the more we go toward it, the more it eludes us. To find its end, to even stand at its base and contemplate the dizzying heights that must hover over its high arch is even more impossible. If we were to stumble upon that sacred path, could we be light enough and pure enough to walk its raindrop surface to the embraces of gods? My companion says that he once saw a triple rainbow. What a rare sight indeed! Truly, the land where he saw it must have been blessed, and he was lucky to have such beauty revealed to him. But then again how high must heaven be to need three insurmountable bridges?

I just woke up this morning and I had this dream that I feel gave me an important insight. There is the heart center which lies in the Middle Dan Tien, and the sexual center which is closer to the domain of the Lower Dan Tien. It has been my observation that people with blocked heart centers tend to be more focused on sex, while people who have blocked sexual centers seem to be more focused on the emotional aspect of relationships. Think of it as a PVC pipe with water flowing through it. Now lets say I drilled two holes in this pipe. As long as both holes are clean water is going to flow out of both holes more or less equally. Now lets say that one hole becomes clogged or blocked. This will have the effect of raising the water pressure in the remaining hole. So lets say one has their heart center blocked. Then that would seem to indicate that more pressure would tend to flow out of the sexaul center. Now it would seem that for what ever reason that a lot of men (and of course some women too) tend to be more straight foward "mission minded" less emotional in regards to sex as compared to women. Women on the other hand tend to be a little more problematic when it comes to achieving an orgasm than men (and usually are more sexually hesitant), but also seem to emphasise the emotional component of a relation ship then men. This would suggest to me that in general men have more problems with blockages in their heart center, and women have more problems with blockages in their sexual center (and yes I know there are always exceptions). The man with a blockage in the heart center would have more pressure trying to escape their sexual center, and vice versa with the woman. It is easy to see how this would not only create a great deal of internal frustration (sex obsessed man, emotional woman) but inter-relationship issues as well. To the woman the man would seem to not care enough about issues of the heart, and to the man it would seem hard to get into the womans pants. In my observations on homosexual couples, women who have become lesbians often tell me that their relationships with women are much more soft and tender than with men. Homosexual men seem to be highly promiscuous changing partners often. This behavior tends to reinforce my theory on where blockages tend to predominate in the various genders. A third category might be the serious scholar / nerd who might be blocked in both the lower centers and only open in the Upper Dan Tien, the kind of person who seems uninterested in either sex or emotional relationships, but only in study and contemplation. So then I suppose that the idea state is of course to have all areas unblocked so that in all aspects of life we remiain well blanaced. Yet if in a certain aspect of life we do seem to be unblanaced, then understanding why we have such an imbalance is likely the first set in finding a solution to that imbalance.

Questions and Answers about Kundalini II
Vajrahridaya replied to ShaktiMama's topic in General Discussion
Yes, I found that my Rinpoche awakens people to shen first then slowly through teachings in yantra yoga (our version of hatha yoga not to be mistaken with meditation on yantras or mandalas) we then integrate our shen experience or Rigpa with our chi or prana, thus purifying our jing and creating a balance through a process of cleaning through the practices. Of course if one can stabilize shen upon the initiation experience, then the arising of purification movements "Kriyas" happens on a deeply subtle level with very little outer or physical trauma as the transformation happens naturally by releasing into naked awareness and much of the physical changes happens during lucid dream space. But, most people have to practice stabilization in the pure experience of "Rigpa" through various techniques. Kundalini of course wakes up, but we don't call it "the coiled one" because in Buddhism we awaken the energy in a different way as described above and still get the results of higher intelligence, creativity, etc. Here is a link that describes beautifully what I was talking about above and a little quote from the link. For a really good book on Indo-Tibetan Buddhist treatment of yoga and the energy of it largely known as kundalini, check this... Yantra Yoga: The Tibetan Yoga of Movement Also... The Bliss of Inner Fire: Heart Practice of the Six Yogas of Naropa Considered one of the best English translations of how Kundalini or Candali Yoga manifests in the Buddhist tradition. -
You must be self-aware that you are a figment of your own imagination, that life is just a dream and there is no such thing as death.

Questions and Answers about Kundalini II
Vajrahridaya replied to ShaktiMama's topic in General Discussion
That's an assumption and absolutely not true for absolutely everyone. Those with very clear sushumnas to begin with who are just continuing their process from a previous lifetime, and who have a healthy and accepting environment for practice and experience as well as a good, well rounded and deeply realized Master do not necessarily experience this mess at all. I've met plenty of people like this. I'm not one of them. My story is much like your own, except I haven't put it to sleep. My story was only like your own when I veered from the path my Kundalini Master was helping design with me. When I stopped following her guidance, and when I didn't heed the dream warnings from her and the various visions where she came to me and said, "stop", my life went to shambles. I'm still picking up the pieces through an entirely different path which I haven't yet fully embraced, but I am working on it as it's not an easy process. I just wouldn't make the false assumption that if ones kundalini awakening isn't like Gopi Krishna's, who I've read, then it's not kundalini. When one's kundalini is awakened by a living lineage that also has lineage connected into the higher realms as support both physical and secret beyond merely the physical, one's kundalini awakening and process can indeed be quite smooth. But, only if one follows the hints and guidance of the teacher, lineage and inner prompts. I have seen this in plenty of people from my previous path and my current path as well. I fully assure you, your example is not a universal truth. -
I think several people have probably developed a temporary nondualistic state of awareness from meditating, but I am really not so sure if that is what I am looking for, or even what I define to be enlightenment. It seems like a traumatic brain injury or death of the physical body probably would undo that state of awareness, hence it isn't a permanent attainment. I live everyday with the knowledge I will die, and my base awareness may begin a new dream in a reality similar to this one. I want to rise above that cycle altogether, and only a handful of practices seem to promise that, via an energetic route. I like Robert's system to me it seems like you are feeding and strengthening the inner body preparing for an exit, and I think it might be relevant to my goals. I also think being out of body gives you access to tons of knowledge and experiences you couldn't otherwise attain.

Fantastic work dmattwads. "non genital type sexual compulsions" is interesting. Interesting to ponder in what way were the compulsions 'sexual'...expanding the notion of what is 'sex' ... you might like "the soul of sex" by thomas moore...it's a really good book by a jungian analyst who was previously a catholic priest, explaining that we need sex from somewhere very deep in our souls,as part of our every moment, and it isnt at all limited to a genital experience, but is a fundamental engagement with life, the fabric of being here, the fabric of our being. .. sometimes BDSM stuff is about giving up personal power and yielding deeply to a greater power...or playing around with breaking through personal boundaries.. symbolic ya know, like dreams or poetry... doesnt mean you have to be horrified and think you are going to have to get literal and act it out... it might be that every organ we have has it's own expression of sexual soul fantasy, a dream of what the soul seeks, in metaphor, wether distasteful to our judging mind, or beautiful.. the soul doesnt care, it just wants balance.. sex isnt just about genitals, sexual fantasies are like dreams... it's all much more expansive and less literal than we are expected to believe. thankfully.

The initial exercises for OBE are also healing exercises that rejuvinate the worn parts of the body as well as the mind. Other than that, taking antioxidents such as Vitamin E over the lifespan works from the pharmacalogical point. I'm sure you know the rest. One other not so commonly known anti-aging trick is to balance the chakras. Watch the folowing video to see if it does anything for you. Try it while meditating to experience the full effect. Having sex during OBE is new to me but I do use OBE to meet girlfriends and then meet them later in physical. They very rarely remember the OBE but follow the directions more perfectly than as if hypnotized. Come to think about it the dream/sleep state, at the subconscious level is, open to suggestion.

I have been familiar with these ideas since a little kid. I am open to the idea that science is absolutely stiff in it's correctness. At the same time... I've seen and read so many variables, and read different scientific opinions regarding variables and have witnessed things that defy modern science. Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche also shares plenty of experiences that defy science. Including his ability to manifest objects or gifts from the Dakinis from his lucid dream world into this physical world. Also the Jalus or Rainbow Body would defy science and I have full faith in this phenomena based upon my own direct experiences. Basically, I think there is plenty of evidence revealing modern science to not be as absolute as you may think.

No, even if they had different structures, you say they are humanoid. You linked to photos of giant human skeletons. The structure would have to be vastly different and non-humanoid to be viable. You still didn't read that link. It's basic physics, man. Vajra, you seem to have some notion that because you have a vision of something, then it has Universal Truth. Your visions and remembrances don't really prove anything, and you can't generalize your visions to "prove" what you are saying. They only have meaning for you. So your 'memories' of being a 30 foot or 12 foot giant constructing the Pyramids is dream or imagination, or a different Universe or alternate reality, but not this one. You can't have a human form and be that large. Period. Out of bounds has nothing to do with my ego, it has to do with your faulty arguments, pseudo-scientific notions, or assertions of superiority and possession of the 'Truth'. Wow...what an ego!
-
No, this Vajrahridaya clearly stated that they were both drunker than they should have been. Whatever. You can keep your rationalizations. A 30 foot being with physiology similar to humans would not be able to get up from a lying position on the ground, nor even walk. Basic physics indicates that their mass would be much too great for their muscle and their cardiac and pulmonary function would be compromised as well. Limits of human Size Nice lucid dream, but I don't think you were building pyramids! Never underestimate the human capacity for self delusion.

After some 20 emails between us you say something like this to me? In the same sentence you imply that I don't actually have knowledge of hard physics, and then suggest that I claim mainstream science has all the answeres (which I most certainly don't)? Wow, bro. Your really laid me out... Seriously Ramon, the above quotes strike me not as a reaction to what I said, but a reaction to your projection onto what I said. If you will just project all your pet peeves onto me and argue with those, is it worth my energy to reply to you? Well, we were once friends, so for friendships sake, here are some things to ponder. Can you name a single accomplished physicist who promotes esoteric ideas being combined with physics? Or did you just hear that they existed? Perhaps you heard someone suggest connections between modern physics and mysticism and you inferred that there were accomplished physicists who promoted it? OK, hopefully you will take that as an invitation to only make claims that you are sure you can back up, and not as me trying to show you up. What I really want is to set a tone of intellectual integrity here, not get in a fight. I will name one such accomplish physicist: David Bohm. But he is the only one I know of. Others (Bohr, Heisenberg, Wigner) have suggested that certain philosophical ideas like Berkeley's "To be is to be perceived" are implied by quantum physics, but the connection between such philosophizing and the living esoteric traditions of the world is not something accomplished physicists are rushing to take. Now, spiritually minded people hear about this and make the connection themselves. Whereas physicists might muse about philosophy a bit, but at the end of the day the general attitude is, "Let's get back to doing real science." That is why Bohm's ideas were ignored by most physicists. Just so you know, I respect David Bohm more than any other physicist of his generation. I am very aware of the stifling and oppressive environment that exists in the modern scientific establishment. That is one reason why I gave up on my dream of getting a PhD. in math. I also believe, as you do, that the laws of physics as presently understood, are incomplete and are subject to revision (and indeed, will certainly be revised in the future). But I am also aware of the tremendous amount of nonsense out there coming from people who don't really know what they are talking about. Do you have an idea of what I am talking about? Have you experienced that? Perhaps someone telling you their theory about kundalini based on something they read in a book, but you, having been through kundalini, can clearly see that they do not really understand what they are talking about. But if you tell them this they and all their friends jump down your throat, saying "You're just repeating establishment dogma!" And you are thinking, "Um, is this person serious?" I think perhaps you root for the underdog, as do I, so you are more sympathetic to the guys outside the establishment, but remember there are two sides to the issue. About the Church issue...Once again you accuse me of not knowing what I'm talking about leaving me wondering why you think you know what I know. If this guy wants to claim there is a conspiracy he can, and I admit that it is possible and I am not qualified (and neither is he) to say definitively one way or another. But I have my reasons for saying what I did, completely separate from the annoyance I feel toward Church cover up conspiracies. The main thrust of his argument is that the Church banned the use of the tritone in Church music, and he places great importance on the tritone and thinks the ancients did too, therefore the Church must have covered it up. Can you see why I might think this guy is just being overly imaginative? The Church did cover stuff up, but that doesn't mean that people should go off and see cover ups everywhere they look. Here are some things to consider from my store of lack of knowledge of what I am talking about. Musical knowledge was lost during the collapse of the Roman Empire because basically all culture was lost. Before this cultural collapse, a Christian philosopher named Boethius wrote a treatise on music in the pagan tradition and style (because that was all that existed) so the Church was not completely suppressing the pagan music tradition at that point. Now fast forward to when culture started seeping back into Europe. People were starting to experiment with the elementary laws of harmony. Try an experiment. Listen to the intervals perfect fourth, perfect fifth, major third, minor third, and tritone. Which of these sound conspicuously less "nice" than the others? The medieval musicians thought it was the tritone (so do I, but you should try it for yourself). So they said, "We don't want this in Church music, because it is discordant." Whence the conspiracy? Now fast forward several hundred years, when Western music has developed quite a bit. Composers began to understand that the tritone can be very useful. With their more sophisticated sense of musical harmony and style, they understood that there is more to music than nice intervals. But in very simple music, like what the medieval Church musicians were working with, it is completely understandable to make the tritone taboo. Of course, it doesn't matter what I THINK about his conspiracy theory, because it's clear I have no knowledge of the issue. How can I even have an opinion on the matter, right?

Hi Vajra and Mel. I used to feel presences in my room a lot at night. One time, in a dream I was praying with great fervor, and I woke up and felt something very powerful and benevolent behind me. It felt like it was reaching into my back and messing around in there. At some point in the future, I noticed two very deep scars on my lower back, the kind you would get from a surgical incision. Dark red, raised, several inches long. But I have never had surgery... I always wondered if these two events were related, because I have no other explanation of the scars. By the way, Welcome to the forum Mel. I hope you find what you are looking for here.

Hi there, Thanks for adding me as a friend...
Can I ask did you, go how about it? In the same way? how many times did you get to go? What did you see? Did you see the city? Please I really would love to talk to you. The person that got me started on this just left me on my ear with this. I would really love some guidance and more ... Melanie
P.S. I know it's no pipe dream, people...

I was only stopping with that post. We ain't done yet. Hehehe. The thing you need to do Marble is to steel yourself and get ready for the truth about humans--most have no idea who they are or really why they live and think the way they do. It's horrifying to think you live in such a world but while you have illusions to the contrary there are people and species dying every minute because of that which you can't/don't want to see. So how the hell did you gain all this wisdom to be able to tell me what I need to do? That is pretty freakin' arrogant! Seems you are agreeing with me more than disagreeing but still you say I am totally incorrect in my view of life and people in general. Are you denying reality? Living in your make-believe world where everything is okay just because it can happen? That is so much a wrong view when it comes to people and their ability to differentiate between 'right and wrong', 'good and evil'. And I will say again as you did not speak to it, we each, if we have a normally functioning brain, know the difference between 'right and wrong'. We each are capable of making choices. We each have free will within given limitations. If we do 'wrong' by doing something that most people would consider 'evil' then we must be judged as being 'evil'. Doesn't matter what our past problems are. Those are things of the past. Every day we wake up we have a chance for a new life if we so choose. The woman in the first video is evil, the girl in the second video is evil. Oh, sure, they probably more often than not do good things while others are watching them because they don't want their true colors to show. A perfect example of this is spectators at a sporting event. Being crazy and stupid is acceptable here so those who are at their roots are crazy and stupid. So I understand that there are crazy, stupid and evil people on this planet and therefore remain prepared for these people. This way of life has served me very well. I don't dream when I sleep and I wake in the morning with a pure mind. I am at peace with my inner Self and I am contented with my position in life (fully retired). I have already lived three time longer than the average retired military person. That is because I never picked up any addictions that were extremely hazardous to my life. So if anyone here wants to pretend that it is okay for that woman to throw that cat in the trash bin because it is a result of karma then just remember that it is okay for some drug addict to rape your eleven year old daughter. If you believe that everything is permissable because it is a person's karma then that's fine. But just remember that when shit happens in your world. So you don't believe in evolution? What a shame. But there a lot of these people so you are not alone in being one of the lost souls. You argue against comparing the human brain with instinct but yet you insist on karma? Even when you agreed that the instinct of survival exist in the human animal? Actually, regarding laws, I normally do whatever needs be done and am always ready to accept full responsibility for my actions if I have, in the process, violated a law. That's just the way I am, the way I have always been, and the way I will always be. I don't need anyone telling me how to live my life or telling me what I need to do. And once again I will state that evil, IMO, is any act to do intentional harm to another living creature without a just cause. "Just" specifically referring to survival or avoidance of harm. The driver in your example above likely did not do something evil unless he/she intentionally hit the possum. There is even an excellent possibility that they didn't even know they hit it. That's called "shit happens". Peace & Love!

GARDEN Blinding heat divides day from night, Brands short shadows into fecund soil. Green tendrils, heavy with beans, Coil around rustic bamboo racks. Violet flowers gape erotically among velvet leaves : A single gourd contains the entire world's dream. There is a great comfort in growing your own food. You are close to the soil. You use the basic elements -- water, sunlight, earth, air, and plants -- for your work, your sustenance, and your pleasure. You nurture your garden from seedlings to mature plants, tending, pruning, weeding. Year after year, you see cycles come and go, from sprouting to harvest to withering, to seeding again. You eat your plants to live. You don't mind and they don't mind. Some day, you will fall back to this earth, back into the sun-baked dirt, and you will become food for the plants. It's the way of all life, and it's all very agreeable. Those who follow Tao say that all reality is like a series of nesting circles : microcosms within macrocosms. What is close at hand is a microcosm of what is far away. Why search all over for Tao? It is all contained in the seeds of the gourd growing in your garden.

More than 1. So far the only other realm I experienced is the dream realm. But there could be more. I have not read Lao Tse's book directly, but rather listened the audiobook version and commentary by Wayne Dyers, I have not read Chuang Tzu though. Lao Tsu wrote Tao Te Ching and Li Hongzhi wrote Zhuan Falun. There are all sorts of books. When I asked that question I meant how did you reach that conclusion from your own experience/revelation and not based on a book. One can speak like definite law and can give many quotes from a book. But that doesn't mean they(books) are always 100% true, and if true not 100% complete. Going from unhappy state to happy state seems to require a state change thus you 'reach' a happy state, therefore there is something to be reached. The means to reach a happy state can be discussed.
