Yes, its very much like dream recall: In state its all very clear and remains so if you etch it in place but when you get into the real world it seems to gradually fade away. I'll try Zen Walking and see how that goes also great point about emotional food, so true. Agreed and even that is simply pointing toward what needs to be healed. Starve the ego, feed the soul.

Water and Will Project - Documenting Liuhebafa and Yiquan and Other Topics
Earl Grey replied to GreytoWhite's topic in General Discussion
Depends on how you define "authentic". Does it work? Yes. Is it unique? Yes. Does it have lineage? Yes. Does it have history? Yes. If someone considers it a derivative of Taiji or other IMAs, technically speaking, the internal world is not that big, and there are both the potential for overlap and interaction with schools that influence one another. Chen Yiren and Wang Xiangzhai both influenced one another and in turn their student became the grandmaster of our lineage, bringing the principles of skill for the former and power for the latter while using Liuhebafa as the base form to express Xin Yi. Oh boy, this looks like several questions. People don't realize Taijiquan is a martial art and always has been, but there is Taiji the philosophy as well as Taiji the skill, and Taiji as the formal name for what people call the symbol "that yin and yang thing". Historically, in the most bastardized summary I've seen, what was taught in the Qing dynasty is the movements and forms, but none of the internal power, so that no foreign devils would have access to power or secrets. The delusion that it had power was a practical joke, and made worse a century later by the communist party of China promoting many "internal arts" that look closer to ballet choreography than the few masters and systems with actual internal power. What you see in the parks is derived from a bastardized version of an already watered-down practice that has almost no martial applications and uses platitudes that reveal the absence of any understanding or skill, and still gets worsened by advertising culture with things like Tai Cheng: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/28585-tai-cheng-infomercial-2013-cheez-whiz-or-what. The people with actual skills, like Glenn Hairston, for example, get straight to the point about how and why Taijiquan works as a martial art. The Taiji taught for health isn't bad--it just isn't the Supreme Ultimate that people think it is, and that is fine, but only if they're after health as it has documented clinical benefits from helping with Parkinson's to recovering from chemotherapy, though it's closer to qigong than it is to a martial art, and one of my teachers knows both Taijiquan as a martial art and Medical Tai Chi. As people get lost in the details or misunderstanding which Taiji they are doing or even if their teacher is legitimate (i.e. knows what the hell they are talking about), a person who is learning Taiji for health but is really doing Tai Cheng is getting a Tae Bo workout, and a person who thinks they have ultimate power is probably like Jake Mace: Speaking only for the styles I know and practice, there's holistic work done. Some people do Baduanjin only, but don't sit in golden flower or stand in Zhan Zhuang, and some people who think they are doing Zhan Zhuang are just standing on a plank and balancing. For what I do, we breathe, we stand, we sit, we rest, we have forms, and we live life. Understanding is in the proper doing that leads to proper knowing. You can have proper knowing, but not have the proper doing or proper being. It's a common trick for masters to troll people who don't pass their character tests to get the right verbal explanation, but not teach them the actual correct way of applying the skill, such as someone teaching pranayama from a YouTube video they watched the morning earlier before meeting you in the afternoon and saying it's Tai Chi Breathing and an ancient indoor student technique. Depends on the lineage. I speak only for the Xin Yi Meditation school with Liuhebafa and for The Tao Applied with Taijiquan. I don't know what you mean by alchemy, but for sake of simplicity, alchemy is not the term we use in Xin Yi, we just call it the rewiring process, which starts from joints and tendons and all the way to muscles and fascia, then the organs and mind. In my Taiji lineage, the alchemy comes from several key meditations and a simple version of Taiji form based on the original form that wasn't even 13 moves. The martial spirit of what I have learned is deception through Liuhebafa and hiding intention, and from Taijiquan I've found gentle power and force through the application of the Taiji philosophy in physical movements, knowing that if I am pushing an opponent, I also have to pull in some regard, or if I strike, I must also defend simultaneously. Most of my understanding is expressed physically rather than verbally, which is why I just have people do the practices and ask questions before so I guide them progressively and slowly since the internal arts don't follow a strict linear progression as they are also tied to an individual's learning and body adapting. I have shared a few throughout the forum, but dream work is pretty common. Shuigong and Liuhebafa both share lineage with Chen Tuan in Hua Shan if that says anything... -

The difference between someone with real attainment ... and the rest ... is simply that you recognize that you don't know, you can't answer the question. And then you go find the answers. That's the secret. Other people want to be celestial dragons and dream of amazing things ... and in this amazing tricks they dream about, don't even notice they can't answer simple questions. -
Thanks Bindi. Youâre fortunate to have such strong dream guidance. Iâve had nothing like that, although, along with a number of teachers, Clearyâs Taoist I Ching has proved an excellent guide for me. And Iâve needed heaps of guidance. Iâd have to say that I have no natural talent for life. My path of shedding unhelpful conditioned consciousness has been hard won through dealing with my general uncomfortableness with embodied life. Hence Iâve made and needed to work through countless errors. Some huge, such as a period of intense heroin addiction when I was younger. And in retrospect, such âerrorsâ have provided me with my greatest learning experiences. The stark choice, change or die. For me, Ming and Xing cultivation just means working with methods that better align both my body and mind with Dao. Although these are intricately intertwined and therefore not two, thereâs clearly cultivation methods focused on each. For me, as someone whoâd learnt through many years of education to overvalue thinking, qi gong type body focused practices were the most beneficial in my early years. But related theory has always helped me enormously, my understanding of it deepening with qi gong practice, my praxis deepening with my understanding. Now Iâm comfortable using the whole of life as my alchemical cauldron. Iâd say Spirit, the mind of Dao, tries to continually speak to us all through events in our lives, through feelings, but we can only adsorb it to the degree that we can let go of ego and surrender to its great wisdom. However, when I was younger my life was so out of harmony with Dao, everything was meaningless (or, at least, only superficially meaningful in culturally constructed ways.) I was free to do whatever I wanted, no spiritual guidance held me to a path. Now thatâs not the case. My path becomes clearer as I get older and manage to improve my alignment with Dao. Clearer and hence narrower in the sense that I feel uncomfortable when I stray. Which, having written this, reminds me of how I noted the instructions for Neidan are intricate. So too I could say are instructions from Nature. Yet the more Iâm able to stop interfering, the more theyâre able to change me âself soâ, spontaneously, effortlessly. So that intricacy becomes simplicity, just like the unfolding of nature.

Agreed pulling apart conditioned consciousness is primary, and there are likely a few ways this can be done. I had a dream in my early 20âs in which there was a large wooden pergola structure and a thick vine growing on it. In my dream I first undid the tendrils wrapped around the wooden beams, then the branches, and then I came to the trunk of the vine which had grown around the middle post of the structure, so that it was almost impossible to distinguish what was wooden post and what was vine. I started to prise them apart, and at a certain point I managed it, and the whole vine and structure started to topple to one side which worried me so I pushed it back up, it started to topple a second time and I worked against it and pushed it back up again, and then it started to topple a third time, and this time I turned my back on it and walked in the other direction. When I looked back, I saw that the whole heavy old structure and vine had disappeared, and in its place there was a new fresh young vine, free to grow. This is my dream version of pulling apart conditioning, which influenced my entire life path. As I see it now the vine is my mind, and the structure is my conditioning. In my dream, my heavy old lumbering mind woven around conditioning gives way finally, after a lot of work undoing it, to a new fresh perspective, this time in accord with my inner reality.

Chanting Deity/Buddha names and The Cosmic Doctrine
dwai replied to JustARandomPanda's topic in Hindu Discussion
My first mantra initiation happened when I had my Upanayanam (thread ceremony which seems the individual twice-born(Dvija) - first in human form and then in knowledge). Fast forward a few years, and while going through a really rough patch for several months in a row, in desperation I prayed, âLord, if you are real...if there is a power out there who can help me, please help me find a way to overcome these challenges that life is throwing at me nonstop!â. A yogi visited me in my dream and initiated me to a powerful and yet very common Hindu mantra. Told me how to chant it. I started chanting it, and it became such an integral part of my practice that I would often find myself chanting in dreams, in my sleep etc. During that period the personality was being tormented in the waking realm due to lack of employment. Within two weeks of starting my practice I got a job I didnât t even apply for. A good one. But something that had been eluding me for 8-9 months. Around the same time I was getting dream âvisitationsâ by a being(s) who would come to me in the form of close family members and torment me. I somehow knew how to vanquish/banish these demons using the sword finger and the mantra. Iâve used this mantra many times over the years to protect myself and my family and friends. So yes, mantras are real. Deities are real and powerful. And if we empty our cups, they can help us and guide us. -
Honestly, I believe with the way he presents himself on YouTube, he is claiming to be quite advanced. He might not call himself a sage outright, but... The clothes really aren't the big problem, though I made fun of them when he first showed up in a reactionary manner. The problem is when somebody who has not really received teachings takes to a high platform to hold a megaphone, as it were, and preach home-baked understandings. When one adds to this the establishment of some sort of organization devoted to the glory of a disembodied voice... complicated, complicated. At any rate, although "Lord" Josh Allen is at the center of this conversation, I am not all that concerned with how he turns out. I am not under any illusions that I am going to sway him with my message board posts, especially since he disregarded the lists of common Daoist warnings about ghosts, demons, and playing with spells that I typed up. The posts I am writing are for those newbies who know next to nothing about Daoism, but feel a draw to it and may watch Josh Allen videos and conclude, "ah, so this is what Daoism is all about." I can only use the term human wreckage to describe what I have seen of some unfortunate people who have thrown in their lot with the wrong kind of "Daoist" teacher. Such outcomes are tragic; being better informed might help some people avoid them. I do accept the possibility that Josh Allen is really being guided by an actual Daoist immortal. Such things do happen, just like some people digging in their flowerbeds unexpectedly bang their spades against nuggets of gold. Tolerance is good. I admit that I was intolerant of Josh when I made fun of him. Since talking with Steve in this thread I have been careful and have shared with him lessons repeated to me by Daoists in three different lineages in three different countries. They might not suit him and they might seem like they're intended to take the wind out of his sails... But let me tell you, having a Daoist teacher involves having a lot of wind taken out of your sails! A responsible teacher tends to hear a lot of "wow, master, yesterday I was meditating and then ________________________ happened! Amazing, right?" Then the teacher gives a bland reply like "forget it," and possibly patiently explains why such a manifestation is of little or no meaning and should definitely not be latched upon. To a beginner, this can be very disappointing! We want to be special, we felt qi, we saw a spirit, we had a prescient dream--why does the Daoist wave this all off with utter disinterest? To the student who sticks with it, the wisdom in this approach gradually becomes more and more apparent. Also, regarding nomenclature, I say this with seriousness to suggest a different viewpoint, not to take a jab at you. You have spoken about the gay community many times in this forum. That is a community that has taken nomenclature quite seriously (and rightfully so, I would add). The gay community's experience with epithets and labels can be one reminder of how important a label or name can be, and why people might find it important to seek clarity in definitions. There's actually an awful lot "in a name," even if names are "just words." Those who practice magic surely also realize this--this aspect of language is probably one of the bases for why spells can even work at all (not that I know for certain, I do not practice any magic).

Whatâs wrong with choosing Siddhis over materialism including sex?
Heartbreak replied to Heartbreak's topic in General Discussion
I donât think you get my point. The higher dimensional races can only do things which we dream about. Or watch movies about. The purpose of cultivating well itâs not just about powers.. itâs about cultivating your soul as well.. if you can cultivate your soul to get rid of the negative layers of your soul then your powers will manifest.. Material desires like greed and lust are part of the negative layers of the soul which are keeping our powers suppressed. -

No, when you talk about enlightened qualities you are still trying to get something. You are not ready to die. That's how most people approach spirituality, they want to stay themselves and then add something to it. The strange thing is that half of spirituality is based on people trying to add something to what they are; the other half of spirituality is genuine. He did not say he was depressive or in pain, he lived in exceptional health his whole life. The process of change though was very painful, he called it the calamity, the sudden shattering of his identity. In my experience people who talk of qualities they have are in shallow states. They sort of get to live the dream, they remain as they are but are able to experience so aspect of awakening and feel great. They can broadcast quite a lot of noise about their discoveries and powers and discuss different energies and faculties and whatever. Then those who are surrendered are different they are quieter, they are absorbed, they don't care which qualities they have because they know it's meaningless. And then there are those who are finished and aren't really alive in the ordinary sense. Some teachers play a sort of act, like J. Krishnamurti. He gives them what they want, polite English spoken very sweetly saying lots of nicey nicey things all above the line. Others promise energies and healings in big gatherings, again this kind gives them the spectacle that they want. Some like Sadhguru answers any question on earth, because being enlightened means you can do that of course. Anyway, for me I like those like Nisargadatta, oh he makes me laugh. Sitting in his crappy little brass lamp shop selling crappy string-wrapped packs of beedi cigarettes to the bums of Mumbai for 1/2 a ruppee, with the smog and stink of Mumbai streets coming through the door. He sits with some students and screeches like a saw hacking through steel ... he screeches his Advaita teaching. Him, I like !!!! -

one more and I'll stop spamming... even though not from a 'taoist'... it resonates harmonically and deeply for me âIf you prefer smoke over fire then get up now and leave. For I do not intend to perfume your mind's clothing with more sooty knowledge. No, I have something else in mind. Today I hold a flame in my left hand and a sword in my right. There will be no damage control today. For God is in a mood to plunder your riches and fling you nakedly into such breathtaking poverty that all that will be left of you will be a tendency to shine. So don't just sit around this flame choking on your mind. For this is no campfire song to mindlessly mantra yourself to sleep with. Jump now into the space between thoughts and exit this dream before I burn the damn place down.â ~ Adyashanti -
I'm glad you asked as this is a very good question. I actually wanted to write about it but waited for things to develop a bit more. Anyway as I have been saying dream images aren't that important as energy but the way I go about confirming is actually trough asking a dream character on who it is or what kind of being it is and get an answer from them. This is sort of my double tap because I never really trust my mind completely in waking. I usually ask yes and no questions to friendly inorganic beings or sorcerers or angels in dreaming. Since with the dreaming body the one you do lucid dreaming expresses itself trough intent there is actually no real voicing happening and the beings just respond to the intent and aren't able to lie at least all the beneficial ones. Now before you take me for the word here of course you would actually need some practice to see how this works for yourself and after some time you will start to feel with your dreaming body the answers even before you ask the questions sort of as if the dreaming body itself knows already with whom it is dealing with. It takes a bit of practice so not self assured right away. As for Jeff prior to meeting him I actually had a long astral talk with Dawei and was able to go back and forth with him about all kind of topics and then I noticed an energy line leading to this other guy - Jeff but since I never met him in waking we kind of met in dreaming yet he looked frozen in a sitting position as if he is meditating and gazing at his navel. The dream started changing there and sort of only energy remained. It stayed with me the whole day. If someone wants to discover if some entity is hiding in a lucid dream behind a dream character you should focus your intent and see trough him or voice to show its true form. The best way imo of course is to ask them before hand if they are inorganic or if you wish "incorporeal" beings and then follow up with asking them if they are friendly. The unfriendly ones can't help but to say that they are not friendly so you will get the answer anyway but its best not to listen to anything they have to say to you and hopefully you will not be a type of sorcerer that has problems with them because they can be really pesky even follow you up in waking. If you are interested in more about the topic of dreaming then check out "The Art Of Dreaming" book by Carlos Castaneda since it teaches how to do this.

I'm married you pervert! Here's another joke.. Last one! This time the joke is on me so no worries.. A comedian enters the stage takes and says "I won't be telling any sex jokes tonight!" Suddenly a voice from the audience responds "I want my money back". This is what I wrote: "I have done my part and did dream about who Jeff is and witnessed the energy he radiates more clearly then while awake on multiple occasions." It doesn't really matter how you see someone in a dream since dreams are always just dreams but they can also be lucid dreams which are the ones where you are aware that you are dreaming. What is important here is the energy being radiated and not really focus on the person and this should be everyone's priority since every energy has a source and nothing can really harm you once you let your energy body guide you since its exactly meant for that. With Jeff it's just easy to notice the energy either awake or dreaming. When I said that I dreamed about who Jeff is I actually saw the dream revolving around the energy and the dream itself was positively good and I managed to talk to him and hear from him what he is about along the dream telling me the story itself as a response to my intent. Now I will say more on the type of "seeing" possible be done when awake. While awake most people are using the mental body as their primary energetic self and this body has its own "third eye" capabilities and can see energy trough imagination but the flaw of this body is that it selects only those features of the energy body confined to its identity or the persona. While the dreaming body itself "sees" energy only if you intend it so and sometimes if the energy is just so strong "seeing" happens on its own sort of more as an appearance of seeing rather then actual seeing but how you feel this energy is unmistakable since its real and not merely a dream. Also since in dreaming your usual mind/persona isn't active then what you dream isn't tainted with your internal dialogue projections that you have when awake so everything is far more clear there then while awake.. Its one of the advantages of the dreaming body. Also the dreaming body itself sees energy as very energetically powerful energy lines which are self aware. If you can activate the dreaming body while awake and dream awake and even use the dreaming body to see energy this is a very good thing. What exactly is that? Would be nice to read about it. I have read Bindi's account on seeing the energy body here on this thread and find it to be a good valid experience on seeing energy. Maybe stop supposing this much? Your horns might enlarge to universal heights..

Laughing Such audacity and assuredness.. None? Interesting your dream work is taken as affirmation, while another's waking experience is written off as a dream.. Both Bindi and myself have done just what you are suggesting nobody has done.. but I suppose the word "fucktards" is some special magical word somehow meant to strengthen your assertions and we should tremble at your astuteness..

Yes one of them is me but not much others here yet you post the most. Someone else doing something somewhere very important stuff but not yourself proves something? Can you even prove that you exist beside speaking about what others are doing? What I'm trying to say is I'd like to know about this investigation just as anyone and would be glad if someone provided their methods on how did they did it, how good they are at recognizing other "entities" etc and who are these people in the first place? I'm saying that anyone with capabilities can alone with more ease access a deity or an angel trough standing close to Jeff without even doing any practices with him nor him knowing what is going on. This makes him safe and no deity will harm you since we all know deep inside how to relate to them what you are spreading is just fear based on 0 experience. If you look around Jeff with your astral eyes you will see all kinds of positive energy beings. Something you can just dream about! It's crazy that you pity "many who are searching" as if they are incapable of handling themselves as if you can correctly judge people which is just your own pity projection upon folks. Nobody needs your self pity let alone help that is based on that. Its also easy to throw such remarks on empathy and speak like this on the internet while hiding who you really are and how abused you actually are. Let alone judge who is a "spiritual infant" - one of the most stupid things I have read here so far. Some people just wake up and that's it, they certainly don't need you the "spiritual parent" to hold their infant hands I'm perfectly aware of that. Also shouldn't you blame the owner Sean since he allowed for all the abuse in the first place? Wouldn't it be better to deal with Jeff directly either trough court or other institution if it's that serious and sort of spare everyone else from the crossfire? This is just distasteful.. Oh wait now I remember you.. You are that guy that kept hiding under the wings of Karen and Dawei when I was fighting for unjustice being done upon Taomeow. Yeah I remember you, you never went trough but you kept hiding sort of getting trough it with your witty political clown responses. I wouldn't be surprise if you secretly hoped to suck it up to the mods and become one of them at the time but Shiva stopped you right in your tracks. Otherwise you never seemed to have a problem with Karen and Dawei as people nor admins executing their will and now you are speaking "common sense" that any gang member can say and use as an excuse for evicting a person or doing personal attacks! As far as I remember the moment I met Karen and Dawei I investigated Jeff right away as I was already introduced to the drama and knew that I should do that in order to make good for others and I never hid my exploration and shared them for no other reason than that. Read this as many times you need until you stop wondering and lying to yourself about me. What do you have against elephant ass sphincter?? It exudes quite a shining warmth for your blind eyes! Love thee elephant you blind fool! Haha you don't know what a cult is since your wikipedia definition can be applied to literally every home and family out there. Cult is never that open to everyone so you can't really go in and out as you please. I was also a victim in my past of various influences and I know one of the best things one can do is grow out of it assume responsibility and forgive! Also I do support fighting for your soul if that is what you guys want at the moment then OK but I have a very good reason to say that people need to fend for themselves. Yet you think you are smarter then that. You rather spread demons and entities which you have no clue about and then say its others that got caught up in it, this is how smart you are.. Why don't you just drop it instead? With your logic I bet you that none of the posters on this forum wouldn't be even be able to find a hospital or a court outside their home but instead they would inadvertently walk into a coffeshop and log into DaoBums seeking for professional help Of course you would be outside the door operating with your political powers LOL PS What if you are wrong.. What then?
-
Of course there is always someone else to blame or get credibility but never yourself. If anyone here really cared to stand up for people they would already do it by themselves and investigate Jeff or anyone in his group trough at least either lucid dreaming or astral traveling but none of you really has the courage to do it yourself. The truth sucks really and hiding your fear behind reason is what cowards do. I have done my part and did dream about who Jeff is and witnessed the energy he radiates more clearly then while awake on multiple occasions and also asked the Jinn beings about him since I'm in regular contact with them (and not only with them) and have written about this already. Seems nobody knows if this is true since they can't confirm anything for themselves regarding the matter so I guess you choose to take my word for it or not or just start practicing. Also if any of you gets some stupid trash idea that I'm sort of inclined to hold your hand and cooperate in your self indulgence and incompetence I have to tell you that I don't do any free readings nor am I at "public service" for money or whatever else as I only follow the Spirit and not the "common world" and its rules by any government, internet space, forum, dialogue, reason, nicknames or whatever "god" most of you bow and are confined to. Now speaking of Jeff I confirmed he is in contact with Angels and Deities which is always great and saying this is dangerous is like saying that life is dangerous or having kids is dangerous. Your an idiot if you think so and expecting someone else to have responsibility for you since you are incapable of handling life is sad. Why would anyone hold your hand all the time that's disgusting especially since you are not a small child anymore but old enough to conduct yourself! Also what are the exact psychological issues discussed here? If there is a psychological damage suspected please go to the doctor for a checkout see what the doc says and find a lawyer or just go to court like anyone normal (or anyone that would go vote) if you feel this is the right thing to do you will get support you all the way. If you don't feel this is normal then please.. You got all sexy and then got scared when things got naughty end of story. If you want to get married then well consider having sex after the marriage not before and whatever happens in the bridal chamber stays in the busty, direct, open, strong working space! Understood fucktards? Otherwise you are a cheater, an imposter snitch, a moaning bitch and a sad joking clown. Also why would new members be insulted here with your own incompetence with interjecting every energetic connection taking place as if you know whats going on between people in life acting as you know it all? This is what happened to me and I didn't like someone interjecting with personal drama as I was learning new energies. All you posters here think only about yourselves and don't really count everyone in. Nobody really needs help unless they ask for it themselves. As for "vampires" or other "entities" this is quite serious to state but sadly posters on this topic have no damn clue what an entity or a demon is nor if they really exist and how can they actually validate what is happening for themselves. You need someone else to tell you right? A teacher or a book? What are you gonna do fight demons by talking your way trough them? Haha.. You can't even stay on topic for that matter let alone stop spamming please stop lying to yourself that you are doing something right here. You are addicted and can't stop. Speaking of responsibility this is not good for anyone let alone you it only perpetuates egomania and the worse part of it is that you started enjoying it. How about I propose a new rule since I administrate another forum, own one myself and have helped moderate a few already. Ban users temporarily or permanently that are trolling by making off topics, spamming (limiting posts per day or topic etc) and not respecting the owner doing so while keeping everything so far and go from there. Just so everyone can chime in not just the loudest as it takes time to read as well let alone write. Nobody can put up with this type of daily spamming outside of the forum unless being in a drugged environment. Fuck off into the rabbit hole you damn trolls In the end do you people know whats disturbing the most? Not letting your Spirit shine. Simple as that. Not letting your Spirit shine! Now go on. Amuse!

there are 2 errors in your assertion, and one questionable remark. The two errors are 1. That it was a dream, and 2. That you were accused. The questionable remark is that Ilumairen âKNOWSâ my claim is not true. I will post my part of a private conversation I had with Jeff regarding my assertion at the time it actually happened, because this issue needs clarity. I wonât post Jeffâs part of the conversation in the interests of pm privacy. Now why would ilumairen KNOW this isnât true?

It's called attachments. Pretty basic spirituality. We don't go after anyone. I have gone after one person because they accused me and others of astral rape which you KNOW is not true. They had a dream and then wanted to blame it on us. Then went on to attack us for years. There are tons of threads here at the bums with people attacking us and we rarely answer back. Has anyone went after you? Mentioned your actions and the effects your practices have had on others even after being warned? Nope. You attack and we don't say a thing. Nobody is expected to recruit anyone. I have never asked anyone to recruit people. I have never, ever been mad at you for not recruiting anyone. If i remember correctly you were upset with me because my posts at the bums would wake you up. That even when I was right in a debate about Rigpa I should have just stopped instead of debating others. You were upset that I lead dives and didn't give you and others more of an opportunity to lead them. You can be upset with Jeff all you want but you don't have to lie and make up stuff. Also, yes I do believe Jeff, I and others can help people. I have seen it to many times to doubt it. Offering help is not a bad thing. You don't have to stay, you don't have to accept. Maybe you try it and it is not your thing. No other explanation? No other reason possibility beyond what you think was going on? You really think it is all about power? You are just assuming but never asked? Maybe it was about the other person and had nothing to do with you? Also, thank you for the blanket method. I use it all the time. Clear your obstructions and realize the clarity underneath it all. I have never heard Jeff or anyone at PW use the term weak or that someone is bad. I have also never heard Jeff use the term powerful as a reference to himself when working with someone. Again, no need to respond. I won't be checking back for an answer. I just thought I would add a little perspective.

Very There are several practices. Different practitioners respond better to certain practices than others. Therefore, while there is a general outline of practices, there is a lot of flexibility. Basic abiding meditation practice is the most important on the dzogchen path. Other support practices include the ones I mentioned above from the Mother Tantra - dream, sleep, bardo, phowa, tummo. Yet others are related to 'lower' vehicles of Bön, such as practices with the 5 elements and soul retrieval. Some are available for free, others can be accessed online with payment, yet others are only available through direct instruction. It depends on the individual and what they are looking to get from the practices. I do formal practice 1-2 hours daily depending on my schedule. Informal practice is something we gradually integrate into our daily lives over time until life itself is the practice, non-stop. Some, like dream and sleep yoga, are practiced continuously throughout the day and night in a 24 hour cycle. The end point is abiding in the nature of mind continuously throughout all aspects of life - dream, sleep, waking, and death; leading to an easier transition into death and liberation from the cycle of rebirth in the bardo or at least a favorable rebirth. One lifetime, unlike tantric and sutric practices which are said to require multiple lifetimes. There are practices that have fixed endpoints such as phowa, transference of consciousness at the time of death. Similarly there are visionary practices (called thod gal) that are finite like dark retreat, sun gazing, and sky gazing. Dream and sleep practices are generally taken as a part of daily life with no specific endpoint. Formal and informal abiding practices (known as trek chöd) are also taken as a continuous part of daily life.

Town Hall Meeting on Self-Governance for TDB Re: No Mods or Sean Currently
SirPalomides replied to Earl Grey's topic in General Discussion
For starters, anyone who publicly claims to be a master of anything, or offers some spiritual service, should be expected to give a detailed account of their qualifications, lineage, teacher, etc. Members should rigorously grill them until a satisfactory account is given. âBuy my book and find outâ is not an acceptable answer; âthe Lord Lao appeared to me in a dreamâ can only work if accompanied by a humble recognition that this claim is unverifiable by others and therefore no one is bound to respect it. Those âmastersâ unwilling to give such an account (and there could be legitimate reasons) should be accordingly circumspect and unassuming. Publicly offering services for money on the forum or threatening those who question your authority should be grounds for ostracization and pestering until the person reforms or departs. -
I dont have to imagine that as I have experienced it . No, of course not ( I am hoping to get the point soon ) Well, once I was in a deep and dreamless sleep and my wife yelled at me to get up and do some yardwork .... and apparently ( from objective testimony - me being in dreamless sleep ) I " grunted" . But maybe I wasnt in dreamless sleep and I just didnt remember my dream when I woke up ? Of course not and an 'active thinking human mind.' does not constitute ' I ' . An active thinking human mind is ;that which perishes' .

Tibetan Buddhist and Bön tantra and dzogchen lineages teach practices to retain awareness in the bardo. In the Bön teachings, the Mother Tantra has practices of dream and sleep yoga, phowa, bardo, and tummo. The lineages are credible, traceable, and the teachers accessible.

I wasn't aware. That's interesting now. Would you mind sharing your experience of being prayed upon? Regarding Amma, I understand her mind is at light level? I do sense she has some connections going herself. So I'm not fully sure but it seems so. Do you think she is not? It's not from him. I kind of put them in the background after the initial year or so. And haven't connected to Jeff's space in a while. Or other people there. I usually connect in the background to 'smaller' entities light Hanuman and those with light that is more bodily based / non-"light". The energy is real manomaya kosha. I don't get sick anymore and I sleep with my window open all winter. I have stayed outside in my garden barely clothed, until toes freeze, on purpose. And a lot of things like that, to test my self. I don't get sick anymore. I'm a male in my early 20s. I don't get wet dreams anymore. EVER. I've been celibate a few times, a month, two or so. Sleep is safe. I've even watched porn right before bed lol, but no wet dream. I know my body before I started these things. I have had some massive chi transmissions in this time as well and didn't really work out for the past 2 years. Quite a sedentary lifestyle. So wet dreams should have been as regular as the tax man. This is one that makes me really happy Because sometimes you sleep at friends house, etc.. I've had a few instances of going without sleep and without food as well, and this energy takes me deeper in consciousness by a lot. Those things don't affect me anymore. My mind comparatively to before is always focused. Of course I always notice more "weakest-chains". But I'm super clear, senses as well. Like I said, this is a mental energy, manomaya kosha. I don't get a bodily pump from this but I can workout and tense my muscles similarly as if I ate food or done some concentration practice. but yes, there's bodily voltage to it. Most of my work is focused on the atman and anadamaya kosha and for obtaining siddhis. It has improved every aspect of it. I don't really do much with Jeff, or 'his' group. Only about 2 weeks ago I decided I should pick up the pace some more with his practices. Feel free to post your problems with him but saying it's all illusory is not that true. Or saying it's DANGEROUS, I want clarification being involved myself.

This is a great example of how the Astral Body the one connected with the Throat Chakra manifests itself in waking and it is trough seeing meaningful symbols and hearing astral sounds so this is how you can recognize this plane in waking. Being aware of it is the first step in setting up the foundation of the plane so you can develop from here. It can be taken further so if you keep doing it before sleep and intend to dream there you will enter the Astral Plane. Its one of those meaningful very pastel colorful looking dreams you want to have all the time and everything you dream actually exists but it is represented trough some sort of symbolic representation, for example personalities of people seen as animals etc so you are never quite sure what you are dealing with yet its real as this energy body only filters the truth. This is also the plane where you can talk to your soul and speak with angels and guardian angel Since this is the energy body directly connected with the physical body whatever you change there also affects the physical plane. You could say this is the next "chakra opening" on the astral plane or a new dimension of being there and so on.. The Astral Body sees the chakras of the Mental Body (the one most people use in waking) as fiery vortices of colored energy. On the other hand the chakras of the Dreaming Body are seen in the astral as 7 pools of water all connected trough a cascade. Astral = Map Very cool that you managed to heal with the astral Manitou Would be interesting to know what symbols and geometry shapes have an effect on healing.

^ Have you or anyone actually tried his philosophy? Which seems to be love > animalistic sex, minimize excitement, no foreplay, go in firm, harden inside from love only, become still to avoid ejaculation, etc? I'm skeptical because it seems like the complete opposite of what my whole dream experience was like. His sedated approach seems grounded in avoiding shame for carnal lust. Whereas, my approach was first releasing that shame with ZHENGONG...and then fully letting go in the experience without reservation. As in, it's not so much any particular beliefs about sex that are the problem...it's the emotional shame surrounding any of them that are. For example, you could have shame about desiring "nonspiritual" casual sex outside of "love" or shame about being a virgin or sexually-inexperienced (incel). What matters not so much isn't the "hang-up" itself, but the SHAME/GUILT carried for it. I believe that is the true obstacle that should be removed to clear your energetic body.
