This blog I found has some general information on dream yoga: http://www.dreamyoga.com/ I don't know what you ultimately want to acheive with these practices, but this is the main point of these practices: "The goal of dream yoga is to achieve enlightenment" - Tenzen Wangyal And from a review on Norbu's Dream Yoga: "Dream Yoga is not just about awakening in the dream state but also bringing it together with our non-dream awareness as well." I haven't read these two books, but I've seen these get recommended a lot: 1. Dream Yoga and the Practice of Natural Light (Revised edition) by Chogyal Namkhai Norbu 2. I have one for you....this is the second time I dream about the similar symbol. It was this morning. I was on an aircraft carrier. And US one since I was communicating in English. I remember I saw one of the servicemen was surprised about the new schedule. And he was asking the commanding officer why this new schedule was so odd. Something about 4-6..a whole list of them. The entire week schedule from Sunday to Sat was listed as 4-6. I am not a veteran and never served in the US navy. I don't understand why there would be a schedule at all.... Now, I handed a receipt to my commanding officer to sign it. Why? I have no ideas. Then, I was walking with another female officer and we were talking. I saw beds..... Something about hearing rock music. The first time I dream about the US navy was during the height of the NK crisis. I remember marveling the speed in which the aircraft carrier can travel. And I remember that we needed to be at certain region on the map at certain time frame. Did I just have dream about a current US navy operation or a future one?? In where? NK?? 4-6??? The time of the operation and lasting for a long time? I can't see other military operations in which an aircraft carrier is involved.... In both dreams, I was a sailor. I always have a karmic affinity to sailors and soldiers....:) It has something to do with my past life..supposedly....

I don't see how insight can be measured with tests. If anything, tests would measure physical/energetic transformation or power, but all of this would remain on the relative or material realm. At some point, I suppose it cannot be discussed since I presume the tests are secret. And of course, many stories can be spun. A Christian might see siddhis as the work of the devil. To give an example: when dreaming, one can realize that one is dreaming or not. However, this realization itself does not necessarily confer any dream powers--- the power to fly or put one's hand through the wall. Nor does flying or putting one's hand through the wall indicate that one realizes one is dreaming. Of course, it is easier to develop powers while one is lucid, but these are not necessarily the same thing.

Milarepa was loaded with yogic siddhis at the time when he unleashed despicable revenge on a whole village. Could be wrong, but I think Dwai's point was somewhat misunderstood. Personally, I think siddhis and the enlightening journey can be cultivated exclusively. Or inclusively, if so wish. But one who's a siddhi adept is not necessarily enlightened, and an enlightened being could just be someone who's adept at very ordinary things, which often leads to a natural, gentle and authentic ability to let others close by to glimpse how the mundane and the profound are not two different things. The Flower Ornament Sutra (aka Avatamsaka Sutra) speaks to this quite succinctly ~ "Endless action arises from the mind; from action arises the multifarious world. Having understood that the world's true nature is mind, you display bodies of your own in harmony with the world. Having realized that this world is like a dream, and that all Buddhas are like mere reflections, that all principles [dharma] are like an echo, you move unimpeded in the world." Key word being 'Unimpeded", and to what end this unimpededness is directed. Motivation/intent is worthy of attention. Carrying water by one who's unimpeded v another who is... the difference can be quite palpable to those who see more, not less, but the interest to marvel at deeds does not perturb the one who's carrying water, unimpeded. So, mundane or profound does not concern the enlightening individual - its the observers that marvel at the constant unfolding of dualistic phenomena. Where siddhis are found by those who seek.

Thanks for posting that @Taomeow. Most of what your friend said sounds pretty par for the course to me, especially regarding the technology theft (ah, the number of foreign companies who've been left out to dry in China due to government-sponsored technology theft... this is endless, and one of the few things that gives me a bit of common cause with Trump supporters, heh). The dam photo might well have been a quirk from satellite imaging. I have little faith in modern Chinese construction techniques except for when it comes for massive infrastructure projects. However, the resultant increase in earthquakes is likely a reality. I used to moonlight editing for a Chinese geology journal and they were writing about this problem 10 years ago after the big earthquake in Sichuan, quietly understood to have possibly been triggered by the huge increase in dams in that province. Don't know if the real estate bubble is really about to burst or not. It's always "about to burst," but then the government "pulls economic levers," and the economy keeps lurching forward. I don't know if anybody really understands how these things work (I certainly don't think economists do haha!). The best analogy I can think of is: just as some kids drink themselves to death in a single fraternity initiation while others manage to chuff along hard-binging alcoholics all the way till they're in their 70s, I think it's hard to predict when the Chinese economy will finally crumble under the weight of its truly insane reliance on building crappy, 60-story-tall apartment buildings in the middle of nowhere to "concretize" money. China will soon be able to house an extra 3 billion people who don't exist and never will, while the majority of their extant 1.4 billion people already cannot afford to buy an apartment and never will be able to. Talk about a perverse distortion of supply and demand. It is made all the more perverse when "buying" actually means signing a 70-year lease. Private home ownership in China reverts to government ownership after 70 years, so instead of becoming a source of intergenerational wealth, one essentially toils for a lifetime to throw one's wealth into a black (or red) hole. Then again, who needs to own an apartment for more than 70 years if the building was not even meant to last more than 50 years? The videos of the Costco crowd show people in Shanghai, far and away among the wealthiest and most "urbane" in China. They are acting quite mad, all to get some half-off detergent. The key point is that very few of the people who can make it to Costco in Shanghai are anywhere even near poverty, to say nothing of starvation. But madness still ensues even there (*please see below before anybody mentions America's Black Friday stupidity). The same thing happened when an IKEA opened in Shanghai in 2006. I was working at an IKEA in the US, and we were regularly reminded of the impending happy event that was to be the opening of the new Shanghai store. Then there was a stampede on the opening day with multiple deaths, and nobody spoke of it again. If wealthy, well-fed, highly educated Shanghainese people lose their minds for blue light specials, imagine what the mob actions of actually poor, hungry, dispossessed Chinese people is like. The case of a factory boss getting lynched is especially famous, but there are thousands of serious riots around China every year, such as this one that occurred when plans to build a train station in a destitute town were scrapped (I still remember how the photos and videos circulating on WeChat that day before they were scrubbed were far bloodier than what the news article shows, and included children lying bloody and motionless on the street). Whatever may be projected by its billion dollar international "look how happy we all are, future future happy happy rich socialism with Chinese characteristics and facial scanning" international propaganda machine, the CCP is quite terrified of the masses who are arguably much closer to explosion than the citizenry of other countries. Thus do we have widely documented reporting on the close cousin of "ghost cities": "zombie factories." Re: zombie factories, so terrified of mass unemployment is the government that it orders thousands of factories and steel mills kept open running skeleton crews, producing nothing or next-to-nothing, all over China. This is not just something appearing in the western media to slander the poor little CCP. I have seen this affect a company I work for, because they have been offered business way below cost by bosses of Chinese factories who are desperate to be doing anything. The funny/sad thing is that these Chinese bosses play along and keep their money-losing factories open because they can still milk the banks for more money as long as they can show that they are "in business," and for them--just like Trump--more loans is all they really want, because they've figured out that the banks will never recall those loans, because the banks themselves are afraid of reporting to their superiors that they have bad debt, could not get it back if they tried, and would destroy the economy if they started repossessing the assets of debtors. So this cycle continues, and all these industrialists keep getting rich by "gaming the system." As they milk money from China, they remain busy obtaining foreign citizenship for themselves and their children. I kid you not, each time I get to know a "proud Chinese" industrialist well enough to exchange personal details, I find out that the person is actually a French, Canadian, whatever national... or else he or she is asking me for advise on which country's passport they should get and where they should squirrel away their money! Now, of course the US of A has decimated industrial towns, highly oppressed portions of the population, crazy people in line at Walmart (Black Friday fisticuffs are obviously no better than the IKEA stampede), and a segment of the population we should all be afraid of if they ever rise up en masse. The difference is that, relatively speaking, we can have honest conversations about this all over our media, including right here on TDB. Whereas the PR of C just has this schlock and a hundred thousand newspaper editors repeating it under threat of jail, in order to put lipstick on this pig: It is an eerie thing to wander in a concrete canyon at night where only two or three apartments are lit, the storefronts are all empty, and a lone security guard sits in the dark, his face illuminated by the glow of his phone. Such scenes belie the story of the "Chinese dream" just as strongly as a stroll past the Robert Taylor homes in Chicago 20 years ago belied the story of the "American dream." Yet, as truly terrible as so many things indeed are in the US, millions of Americans can and do have their shoulder to the wheel, working together, doing their best to try use solidarity to try and fix this shit. Whereas, in the PRC, if you try and start an NGO or any other sort of organization (including an internet discussion forum) to tackle the problems of society, You will fucking go to jail. "掰掰"

Oh, I know! I've never been very much into dreams or interpreting them. My mother was a firm believer that dreams carried messages. And sometimes, but not always, I think they do too. Two cases... I had a dream early one Sunday morning that my boss, who was also a good friend, mentor and subject of my hero-worship (I was 23, he was 40), had a car accident. It was not far from where we both lived. In the dream I saw him standing in the intersection wearing a hospital gown and looking very dazed. I was awakened by the phone, by a coworker who told me Tom (our boss) had a serious car accident the night before. One Saturday night, coming home from an alumni event, I had a pretty bad car accident (got cut off by some kids trying to beat traffic). My date and I wound up in the hospital. When I was deemed fit to be discharged I called my sister to come get me. It was now something like 5:30-6:00 Sunday morning. She told me she had a dream that startled her awake, that this very thing happened. She was pretty shaken up by the whole thing, especially that what played out was exactly as she dreamed it. So yeah, I think dreams do have meaning.

When I say life - I mean the left-brain ego dominance. To say that dreams are just part of the mind is not true - some dreams are precognitive and so this is, actually, our spirit making contact with our soul. If a dream can come true in great detail 3 years later as it did for me - I not only wrote it down in my journal but said I thought it would come true - so that has to mean that our current waking state is also a type of dream. In fact if you do have a dream of the future - it is more vivid with stronger sense perceptions than our current waking state. What does that tell you? In fact if you do the qigong training intensely then your sense of perception is much greater - smell - you can smell cancer, just like a dog can be trained to smell cancer. The qigong masters can smell over the phone. So - from studying the NDE experiences - people definitely have much stronger perceptions when they die. So it would seem our spirit tied to our body actually deadens our senses despite the left-brain ego as dominant when tied to our body. To leave our body is also to go through a spacetime vortex - again we can access our future. So if time is malleable like that - the future and past are still events of our individual spirit. Yet what enables our individual spirit to perceive things in time is an impersonal eternal process of energy creation. It is said that you can't "see" God - and in the Emptiness it is said there are no perceptions of senses - only the sense of being remains. A kind of deep blissful being. And so yes deep sleep is very much like this - only an awake consciousness of the deep sleep state remains. So being passed out and waking up confused as to how long you were passed out or why you passed out - what happened - this indicates a lack of internal qi energy that guides the spirit energy. For example if you leave your body for astral travel before your qi energy in your lower tan tien is built up enough - what happens is there is a spacetime vortex that spins around you, causing great dizziness. I know because I had this happen to me - but it was only after years of studying that I found the Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality book explaining this - the solution is to store up more qi energy in the lower tan tien. So it is the qi energy that enables self-awareness after death. I would say that otherwise we go through a lot of confusion at first before we realize we are dead - as this is described in NDES. Since our perceptions will be much greater - also we have a life review since all our perceptions are stored subconsciously and holographically. So when we meditate deeply it activates this qi energy for self-awareness as a mini-life review. But if we have a big heart awakening then we can get a full life review - it is a vision that unfolds before us but our life is not played out chronologically, rather events happening years apart are connected as the deeper meaning of how the later event resolved an energy blockage from the former.... And so if the above link is considered as enabling a post-death type experience with that deep heart awakening - what happens is that anything you experience as an external perception is always-already a projection of your spirit, your astral body's internal blockage getting resolved. As soon as you make that connection between the difference of external and the internal meaning - the two collapse into their eternal holographic substrate of the astral realm - the impersonal energy that is eternal created from the process of complementary opposites. So for example when a qigong master sends a dead person's spirit back to the Emptiness - it would appear to be like as described in the end of the Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality book - the spirit is basically sucked in and transformed via the Emptiness spacetime vortex of the qigong master and then in turn the qigong master is taking that transformed energy and turning it into a healing yin spirit that is sent out of the top of the head. It would then seem that our individualized spirits can be recycled like that via the spacetime vortex that can not be seen but is the impersonal energy creation process itself. When we have visions of the future - that is our own personal recycling of our present perceptions - recycled and cleansed into the Emptiness via an astral realm of stronger perceptions - a higher dimension so to speak. And so when the future then "happens" and it is just a repeat of what we already experienced - thereby enabling us to be emotionally prepared for it - then our spirit is not damaged by the experience and we remain in the blissful being state that is eternally creating new energy. It's a kind of black hole that is turned into a white hole - via a spacetime vortex - that is what precognitive visions are as astral spirit travel. It's stated that the first Enlightenment experience of the Tai Chi which is our immortal spirit before birth and after death - coming out of this creates a state of confusion. In fact before that experience you already obtain spiritual powers and if they are used - then you lose the harmonious resonance with the Emptiness and so you fall back into worldliness - into the mundane reality of normal 3-D materialistic spacetime. But if a person is lucky enough to have the experience again then it may last longer and stabilize until the third eye is finally fully open. That enables a very fast healing time for spacetime travel - so that past blockages can be healed by traveling into the future essentially and bringing that information back into the present to transform the present. Or alternatively a spirit can travel into the past and travel before the blockage happened and then actually prevent the blockage from happening in the past, thereby changing what would be the future - that is changing what is now the present. The qigong masters do this all the time and so already have achieved a type of immortality that means literally putting their lives on the line everyday. But what enables them to do is the impersonal formless awareness as the Emptiness which itself is the eternal process of energy creation and so it is the real immortality that we all are a part of already. You can get a taste of this at death when it causes a huge opening of your heart energy as the spirit source and so just as with deep bliss from sleep - at death even more love as deep bliss is experienced - more so than at any point while alive. And so we as spirits realize that we weren't actually that alive when in our physical bodies. Of course if a person dies with very strong negative emotions - this can cause confusion and hold the spirit to earth to be reincarnated much sooner. the tibetan monks would feel the dead body of a person to see which part of it got cold last and that indicates where the spirit left the body based on where the qi was most strongly focused in the body. If the pineal gland had not been opened up based on a strong heart-love connection then the spirit may not leave via that emotion of eternal heart love. Or if a person was not very religious - the real intentions of a person are this electromagnetic energy that originates from the heart as the "yuan chi" or prenatal qi energy and originally was unified with the heart's spirit energy. I would say if a person's yuan qi is strong enough then even if their spirit leaves their body the yuan qi is going to pull the spirit back. And this connection will be conveyed by other spirits encountered as happens in NDEs - or by the Emptiness itself as the message of the Sadguru - Jesus, God, insert spiritual master here. But when we die for real then our individual spirits before reincarnating first get recycled back through an impersonal soul energy state - and this is why we don't remember the previous incarnations - unless of course we first build up our qi energy so that it can also be unified with this impersonal energy state via the heart, which originally was unified with the impersonal energy state in all of us - the spacetime vortex itself. ghost pollution is a very real issue and the qigong masters are constantly sending ghosts back to the Emptiness - to heal the ghosts - and so they get sent into a brighter light which means a spirit energy that has that stronger qi energy unified with it, as is the case with the qigong masters. But then if the ghost is not confused and attached to their lower emotions - sometimes the qigong master is enacting with other spiritual masters called down to help do the healings - spiritual masters who also have strong qi energy and so remain self-aware after death. It is kind of like with our dreams - often they are confusing and we don't control our dreams - but other times the dreams are wild and yet we understand them in real time - and then we can become lucid of the dreams we were are somewhat awake while dreaming, directing what happens in the dream. But then when we have a dream of the future - also we can dreams that physically change reality. This is detailed in a book called Transcendent Dreaming - and the person would wake up with those physical transformations intact, brought back with their astral body with such strong qi energy that it transforms their matter. So we can see how that is what the qigong masters do when they heal us - and so it is actually easier to heal a person when they are asleep since their left-brain ego doesn't get in the way and more so - even their spirit could leave their body so that it is easier for the qigong master to focus on healing the body. For example a qigong master shared how when he healed this dog that was about to die - the dog would leave its body so it was easier for the body to get healed. Since the dog didn't have left-brain dominant ego it was easier to interact with the shamanic visionary realm. You can - the qigong master shared - how one client was healed of strong brain damage - although they were barely cognizant with left-brain awareness the person being healed could actually see the angelic spirits that had been called down to help in the healing - while the supposedly normal adults in the room were not able to see the angelic spirits. And so a person seemingly brain damaged actually was able to be more spiritually aware once their body's qi energy was activated to harmonize with the spirit energy. We can leave our body on different levels - leaving the body via the yin chi energy is just our spirit energy using qi energy to transform the lower emotions of the people around us. So that when the qi is unified with the spirit then there is a small spacetime vortex that reveals the impersonal holographic truth of eternal energy creation - what we perceive as external "other" people around us or live forms actually manifests internally as yin chi energy emotional blockages and then when we transform those blockages internally in our bodies - we have at the same time, like a mutual orgasm, also transformed the other person's internal emotional blockages. And so just with yin chi energy there is already a type of post-death reality experienced with stronger perceptions from the third eye-heart connection. There are stories of yogis who at death leave their body but then go into the body of a younger person - essentially possessing the person or adding to their spirits. At the same time when the qigong masters do healing they send out a personalized yin shen spirit which then heals the person. And so in that way the qigong masters are holographically - astrally - within the people they have healed. From that experience we realize that people and life grows from the inside out - and so since physical death is actually an external event - what happens internally with the qi and spirit energy can be a very different matter. For example it's possible for a person's spirit to go out of the anus at death - why? Because their qi energy was not strong enough to focus the spirit out of the heart through the pineal gland. But I think for most people who work to be decent human beings - who are sincere about the real religious teachings of forgiveness and kindness and compassion - and so then when the spirit leaves the body the focus is on the eternal unification with the qi energy which is the secret source of the physical heart - the unified spirit-qi energy. We can not visualize eternity but we can listen to it. It is heard as a loud OHM sound emanating out of the heart-universe.

"Andrei, of course nothing is real...but how real is the world we all currently share right now? How different is it from a dream or any other mental state you may perceive? The answer is the same in all instances, they are all a product of our own minds." I am not saying nothing is real, I am saying everything is real as you perceive it but there is difference between reality and dream. I was a dreamer all my life and I struggled with this, I tried to figure it out what is more real? The dream life or real life? The difference is that the reality is stable while the dream is unstable. The reality will be here the same now as it will be in one million years (it will not be quite the same it will change too, but still more stable than your inner world). It is a matter of time scale. By the way time is a measure of change and reality changes but very slow, while the dreams change very quickly and without any logic or a different logic than the outside reality. By the outside reality I understand a consensual reality of all the minds outhere in the universe. You can have your own mind with your own reality but it won't take you far unless you contact other realities and create consensus with them. This is how it works, people with different realities create a consensual world to live in it as a larger reality than their own mind. To me this reality is just like a computer game, it has its own rules and limits and we are trying to figure it out hiw this game works. Now what logic means? We are trying to make correlations in our minds between events. This is the "cause effect" relationship or karma as it is called that we are trying to understand how it works. To be honest I wish to believe in karma and reincarnation-rebirth but I started to have doubts about that and now I am building a case against it just to see if I can prove it. The story of the girl in the paper is just a random event that happens to everybody. I mean not everybody is raped and killed but randomness occurs in everybody's life and we try to make sense, we try to find logical explanations, what are the causes and effects to avoid such occurrences. These random events appear in certain instances with greater probabilities than others so there are for sure causes and effects but not necessarily the ones that are obvious. You may say it is obvious that girl "deserved" to experience that because it is an effect of her previous behaviour that produced the causes that lead to the effect but even so I don't see here any "previous life or incarnation". So I don't accept easily anymore this theory. Most of the time we are accepting an easy explanation and many of those are inherited culturally. These are the "superstitions" that are propagated in popular culture. But I am not sure I believe anymore in karma and reincarnation. To make karma to function you need some kind of medium to record the behaviour, the good and bad deeds, right? So for this purpose there is the "soul" that records this, a separate entity form the body that survives the death of the body and preserves the mind. This is the belief that I challenge, again I wish to believe in that but I have doubts. What I observe is that the information is carried forward only through these two paths the DNA in all living matter (the genes) and the culture that is inherited outside the genes.

I've become lucid several times as I realize I'm running energy through my dream body, or I'm already engaged in the MCO, (usually in an altered body). But I have yet to become lucid in a dream and then initiate and run a form. Couple nights ago as I lay in bed I decided to start running a qi gong form in my mind in extreme detail as I shift to sleep. It's a great way to drift off. The last thing I'm processing actively and with intention as I fall asleep, is the next move in the form. This should lead to some blissful dreams at a minimum. Intuition says increasing likelihood of more lucid dreams being triggered involving energy work or any like symbols. No matter what, it's a great way to fall asleep.

I have been trying to understand this for a while now. Thanks for mentioning all this. I also found a musical key signature that has no label as in minor or major. But it exists in between both, in the neutral zone. C major = A minor but in between exists a F/G which makes them both neutral. So they are understood through this center point. They relate to it and come from the center. That is why they are not necessarily opposites. Because again, what do two absolute opposites have in common? They are both the exact same opposition to eachother in exact equal same way. So they have that in common, and are thus brought together. So it's not a duality, it's a trinity. So the two opposites still come from the same center. So it is a trinity. And through the trinity, or 3 as you say, relating to the 2 opposites, there is a triangle. A 1 whole complete thing. It takes 3 points to make a whole 1 thing. 3 is the minimum for one whole thing. So you can as a non-physical being of consciousness express everything through the triangle. Which is 3 9 6. So in numerological definition, the 6 and 3 are opposites of yin and yang, and if 6 is positive then 3 is negative and if 3 is positive then 6 is negative. But just listening to the sounds of what feels more negative or positive and neutral. The trinity can be understood that way. Just like the non-physical soul numbers of 3 9 6 have a neutral positive and negative. And a neutral harmonic, which is not minor nor major but in between, more neutral sound would sound more like this: It's not c major nor a minor, but d neutral. But what you are doing is just 1 step more advanced, and one stepp less simple, for the purpose of being free to enjoy more complexity. So what you do with c f and g is if you take c major, then you can move upwards or inwards into an inbetween frequency that can be realised through the f and g, by adding By adding the sharps and flats and replacing them with the most often used notes of abcdfg. This happens naturally, if you focus on f and g more, because they still sound most similar to major scale in relationship to c major. But not yet fully realised. So you have to add a sharp or flat to fully realise the f and g major scale. So to change a c major to f major is easy. Changing C major into G major is easy. They are most similar. But I just take all the notes on one scale of 7 notes of abcdfg and just shift home key to A, and it's minor, shift to C and its major, shift to D and it's neutral. That's it. Those are the 3 points. And it can be found on any frequency relativity you can so want to apply it to, the letters will be named differently, but in essence, vibrationally, it all relates to positive-neutral-negative, 3 9 6. And there's also in between, minor and neutral and in between major and neutral. Shifting home key to B or E is somewhat minor. And shifting to F and G is somewhat major. So shifting from A minor to B or E minor is easy, as they are most similar, requires adding one flat or sharp. As everything is vibration. And we feel this energy in motion as emotion. It is our unconditional guidance. The emotion is the most accurate guidance we have, from our greater non-physical consciousness. It is an unconditional infinite and eternal aspect of our physical being. The emotions helps you know where you are focused. If you feel bad, you're focused in opposite, out of harmony and create inbalance for yourself. So there are allot of false notes. And comedians like Mozart, are so full of joy, they actually use the false notes to create comedic funny musical jokes, as in , WWHooops, ! Still joy! Still major. But if you allow the false notes to cause inbalance you go into chaos of fear or despair. So full realisation is not fully allowed, of full allowed aligned harmonic convergence of synchronisity of joy and true allowed knowing of infinite intelligence. And again, the moment you realise, you are focused in opposition to yourself, you let go, and natural emotional guidance ensues. So people used to call it in religion as the faithless ones. People who have decided to believe in false perspectives which created painful emotion of despair for them, they kill, and then, they are stuck in that discord, like a seal being placed on their heart, they feel it as rust in their heart. Like jim carrey says, a low key of despair, that is constantly present. The way to unlock it, is by god's grace. Forgiveness. And mostly finding a way to forgive yourself. Because God's love is infinite and eternal and expanding evermore. So forgiving yourself, by first realising the mistake you've made, is the way to freedom. Accepting the wrongness of what you've done. But death is also a release of resistant discordant vibration. And meditation is also a way to allow the full realisation without being fallen into despair, after allowed realisation. To the physical numbers, left and right, also relate in the center to the 396. There really is not seperate between the physical and non-physical. So we actually got acces to infinite intelligence and eternal wisdom, through our own heart emotional guidance system of finding alignment with the greater part of all that we truely are, and we can flow it's inspiration thus then also through our creator minds mechanism. If we learn the art of allowing alignment and releasing resistance. Such as meditation + appreciating. Then you can joyously follow the neverending ever abounding stream of inspiration and ever expansion as our natural state of being in alignment with and flowing our greater non-physical consciousness more fully and freely through us, to take that energy of our soul for the purpose of joyous being and becoming here, to express it and act on it to the best of our ability, with zero expectation or insistence on any particular outcome, as insistence=resistance is a literal law based formula. But when you say, non-commutative phase logic, I think about our soul being unconditional, and so we are unconditionally loved. Meaning we are guided through the hearts guiding light, as it relates to our soul, in our left heart, which is the actual center of our physical body. No matter what we choose. No matter what path we take. So dao as the source of all creation, we are connected unconditionally, eternally, infinitely, and we are an extension of it, forevermore. Meaning, nothing we choose or do, can ever disconnect us. But we can create temporary inbalance, through our physical form, but we are still always connected, we just pinch ourselves off from that connection temporarily, meaning, we are still connected, but not experience much of the connection, like being in despair/fear, and ignoring the heart's emotions. Because that guidance is still guidance. And only accepting the pain of the emotion, it naturally guides us back to our natural state of being in alignment with the vortex, of being in joy and allowing our natural full realisation. And it is a golden spiral as you say. It is actually a vortexual spiral. As everything exists as such, and can be understood through such. This fractal is actually a foundational field of the physical time space reality. Groundwork layer, or structure, of our consciousness. Resonating withinitself through this fractal, we focus a small part of our greater non-physical consciousness through this lense, of this fractal pineal gland, pine cone reality. We need the fractal, as a consciousness, in order to create a physical time space reality experience. And we come through the pineal gland, being shapes like a cone, or pineapple, it is a vortex aswell. And as we come into alignment with the vortex, everything falls back into natural harmony. Everything is and can be understood and known by us through this vortex. Everything is based on it, from elemental 2 dimensional consciousness to all life forms, we are all connected in this vortex, which can relate to any other aspect of itself through itself. So all existance comes to know itself from all the different points of view that it has of itself, as all of us, all beings, all of existance. And again, the vortex is infinite. Just like a fractal is infinite. It connects us to dao. And we feel this clear guided allowed flow of being and becoming, as joy. as our hearts translating this physical and non-physical in perfect alignment and harmonic blending as joy. guidance of our greater non-physical consciousness, translated through our most sophisticated sense of translating energy in motion, into the sense of emotion. If you say dao is not a fractal, then you are not yet found alignment with the vortex. Through which you can be in alignment with the dao and its infinite nature, then you say, dao is infinite, and life is but a fractal of the whole. One is all, and all is one. You can experience the infinite 9 everywhere, it is like the structure of existance, to simply exist. To be. And through this highest 9 everything exists. Even time. So 9 also gives shape to the yin yang symbol. It is the S curve in between the yin and yang. See how subtle it is? It is as subtle as existance itself. As the "I am" meditation. So People seek the original name of Dao or God, and some say it is Dao as in the WAY infinite and eternal. Because it cannot be named according to daoist, because it is infinite and eternal. Or some seek a more accurate name resonance for it. Muslims say the original name is Allah. And christians say the angels are singing halleluyah in praise of the highest one. However, they don't understand, the halleluyah halleluyah is actually arabic for u ya allah, u ya allah! which means "AND OH ALLAH, and OH allah!" As in praising the highest one, as in "and OH allah, and oh allah, and Oh Allah!" And oh infinity and oh eternity, and oh all the good things and better things evermore! And all the highest most high names of God becoming higher and greater evermore, as infinite and eternal ever expansion, through this vortexual alignment and natural allowed realisation, evermore higher into the 7 heavens of all dimensions and ever more subtle and high frequency realisations of being and becoming, of evermore greater and specific and broad and deep. As the most expansive, highest, broad mercy and the deepest mercy, most absolute, the furthest most expanded state of being of all of existance as ALL THAT EXISTS, and is being and becoming evermore. But then there are the bahai people which say the original name is not Allah but Abha, and bh being pronounced almost as a W. awah. Abha. So there is some fine tuning constantly going on. In terms of language, for western language, because everyone has a different point of view. And further reaching into greater clarity and more precise understanding and knowing. As all people reach for greater clarity and understanding and knowing evermore. But for language, I do not know. But numbers, are simple and easy to understand. 123456789. And 0 literally does not exist. As the function of non-existance is to not exist. So non existance literally by its definition, does not exist. So that which does exist, cannot ever cease to exist. In other words, you can say, in the practical sense, the universe is infinitely efficient. The structure has to be infinitely simple, or otherwise the entire structure would collapse under its own weight. That is why allowing everything is not difficult, but rather the most simple and easy thing one can do. And to understand how simple it really is, is the most difficult thing for a human. We are often used to complicating things, that is the function of our creator minds mechanism, to create limitation for the purpose of further exploration, as existance coming to know itself from all the different points of view that it has of itself. Why create limitation? Just because you can. So all that despair you talk about, of the soul rebels, it actually is not an evil. It is actually such a high innocence, that it cannot be understood by any human ever, only the highest one can understand it, and that is also why there exists such a thing called "day or recomenpense." Because on that day, we meet the highest one, and we come to receive the full realisation of the soul rebel, and so we become creators ourselves. As the ever despairing one already knew, but this was not the original plan, but that's how it played out. And God knows best. So that is why people despise the faithless ones, because they are not ready to bring it to full realisation. So it is a blockage of their path. A forbidden fruit. And you may think you are ready, but you'll just burn yourself in truth, for you are not. No one has been able to do it yet, bringing a soul rebel consciousness into full realisation. If they did, they'd instantly ascend the seven heavens. And day of recompense would instantly errupt. For all being in all of the universe. So this absolute uniqueness is what truely allows our natural expansion in full harmony with the all. Indicating energy motional alignment of the physical and non-physical. That indicates you are in the vortex. In alignment with it. Flowing with it. Allowing yourself to be and become as it. As all that you truely are! 1. You exist. 2. All is one, one is all. 3. What you put out, is what you get back. 4. Everything changes. Even change changes into the 3 unchanging laws of existance. This is basically a fractal. Everything's a fractal. But that doesn't mean you are stuck in one mode of experiencing only one aspect of the fractal, that is just self imposed resistance and limitation, that exists only through pure innocence. Just like soul rebels. Or the draconian race which base their entire actions on it often. Not because they are evil, just bause they are innocent. Not yet fully realised. Destroying is not powerful, it takes true power to create something new. And thus, your love to all is unconditional, because only through the soul rebels can you ever create something new. Only by finding a way to releasing resistance for the soul rebel. You cannot choose for another, but you can inspire influence. And thus, the greater your love, the greater your ability to give freedom, and offer freedom, because you are the moreness of all that freedom, and thus through your freedom, the soul rebels are no longer soul rebels, but your unique "soulmate" through which you will be able to create infinite and eternal creation evermore. Still fully suported by the source of all creation, and becoming like it. But that is something far faaaar away, not even in this life time. You are always connected to and inseperable from the highest one. As all that is. So you always got full acces to all that exist, or to your own eternal and infinite source of all creation. Or source energy. Energy which creates worlds. Just need to find alignment with it, be of likeness to it. Such is true prayer, through appreciation. As the angels praise the highest one evermore. Or their infinite nature. They remain perfectly in the vortex, evermore. They are perfect in everyway, and yet also ever expanding, through the source of all creation, always becoming better, also due to our living our life here, that Source becomes all that we ask for. Literally becomes it, and so all the new generations, new souls, come from that new energy, and so life keeps improving for all on this planet. But further more, we are guided by our own soul, greater non-physical consciousness which also becomes all that we ask for, consciously or not. We want something, our soul becomes it. And the more we align with our soul, the better we feel, the better life keeps going for us, ongoingly. For our soul is the breath of the source of all creation. And it flows ever expandingly. It keeps being and becoming ever more. All you gotta to allow the soul realisation to flow through you is to feel better, that's it. That's the communication, the guidance and the allowed realisation of it. Our ever abounding stream of well being. Through the neutral state, we find greater capability for allowed realisation. Allowing higher more fuller allowed realisation to naturally take place. As that which simply feels better, evermore. People call it transcendental meditation, because most people are transcending their negative focus habbits, which prevents them from realising their natural state of being in joy, automatically effortlessly naturally, joyously, and thus in alignment with the whole of all that you truely are being and becoming evermore. And so you flow naturally, easily, effortlessly and joyously, with all of that fuller greater allowed realisations. As being in the vortex, it's called. Being in alignment with your soul trajectory, energy motional stream of thought, of our evermore greater allowed realisation and inspiration from our soul, being in spired, in spirit, in spiraling. In the vortex. That is how a human becomes god realised. As marko rodin drawn perfectly in vortex mathematics image above. The compass is 3 9 6, and it penetrates the physical marker where they cross in the center. And out of that center, we feel god realisation as joy. And that is called being in the vortex. G in the center is for God. That's it. Being in alignment with your true nature. As an extension of that which we call god. We already are it, but we have to allow that to be fully realised for us to enjoy our life with all the good things and blessing of the infinite and eternal of our true nature being and becoming evermore, along the path of least resistance, that is the path of most allowance, of being in the vortex. That feels like joy. And love, and true knowing, and freedom, and appreciation. So you say void is yin yang. You are simply referring to the 9, the highest one, which allows us to expand evermore, as the Source of All Creation is expanding evermore. It is simply to allow yourself to be existance as existance. It includes everything. And so we are capable of integrating everything, as unconditional love. That allows the full realisation of the true forms of all that exists evermore, in evermore greater allowed joy and freedom evermore. And the illuminati are nothing but a small group of elderly which do bad things to children. That is why feeling fear, is completely idiotic, and therefor you give power to all lesser truth's, which prevent your own fuller greater allowed realisation. Just because someone feels fear, and ignores their emotions, thus they are sealed in their heart, like rust, they can only come back into alignment by accepting the falacy of their being, and thus capable of releasing it, and how will that happen? Through individuals such as your self, who are capable of following the path of least resistance, towards all things wanted evermore. Including the peace, we all seek. It is the minimum requirement for full realisation. Because when one dies, there is only peace and more, evermore... But when one meditates, the same thing is realised in physical form, and that is the whole point. So that you can truely CONSCIOUSLY DREAM THIS DREAM. To be here as you intended before you came into physical form. And realise the FULL MEMORY and realisation of all that you truely are being and becoming here and now evermore expandingly, which then is capable of being fully realised by you through joy. For without the accurate emotional indicator of joy, good feeling positive emotions, you're not translating the true path, just a lesser allowed resistant perspective of it, and that is the guidance, of your emotional heart, the true center of your being, through which god realisation is allowed to flow. And so, nothing can make sense ever, unless you are capable of finding alignment with the true realisations evermore. Of doing nothing, and leaving nothing undone. Of unconditional alignment. Unconditional true knowing. True realisation of true being and becoming. Unconditionally. Meaning, you care so much about how you feel, that you focus unconditionally into alignment with your greater non-physical consciousness, or that which you call God or Dao or your Soul even. Meaning, regardless of any and all conditions, under any and all conditions, you be joy. You be all that you call good, and your focus is on it, unconditionally. You praise the highest one, unconditionally. And you always act fully in spirit. Inspired. And staying in alignment with it, at all times, to achieve that which millions out of alignment cannot. As the true compass always pointing forward, like the 9 9 9 9 9. Which flows in evermore beautiful ways. Like the S curve, always in spiraling motion. Of full allowed realisation and integration of true knowing of true joy and love. Unconditional love. Meaning, unconditional full allowed realisation. Deliberate creation. True being and becoming. evermore. And why do i say all this? Because it is simple. To help people understand, that to feel better, is all that is required. No matter how bad you feel, emotionally, you can always find alignment back into full realisation, by simply feeling better, even slightly better. As that is the emotional guidance. And that is the path of lesser resistance and that is the path of least resistance. Then in no time, you will feel good again, regardless of the conditions. Because you have your emotional guidance system, unconditionally active. For even if you feel neutral, you can still allow full realisation, by allowing yourself to feel better. You simply exist here to enjoy life! That's it! How you do that is all up to you, and unique to you. But we are all blessed. And all unconditionally loved. And all fully supported in all that we want evermore. Just gotta trust your emotions, so when you find a perspective that feels good, you can trust it and thus allow it to be more fully realised. And when you feel bad, then simply more easily let go of the resistance, that causes you to perceive a resistant perspective. You cannot change the conditions of your life. You are also not here to create the conditions. Your greater non-physical consciousness does that for you. You allow your cocreation through joy. Through all the things you love evermore. And if you allow joy then simply guide you unconditionally, then you will realise, every and all conditions for yourself. Of evermore greater allowed being and becoming, of evermore greater allowed realisations of joy. And then you will understand, whenever you feel bad, you are simply misunderstanding. So blessed be negative emotion. It helps you know! You got something to allow the realisation of it, and feel joy thus evermore! No need to worry that joy is not there. It always is. Just waiting for you to allow it. However you will. So take your hearts emotion, and let it speak about you alone. How you perceive. Not how things actually are. Because you create those conditions, only more, by perceiving them the way you perceive them. But if your perception feels bad, then you will not enjoy your own creation, ever, because there is resistance. Then simply find a way to look at it that feels better, ongoingly, untill you do feel good, and then you realise the whole of all that you truely are being and becoming evermore. Because the full allowed realisation is flowing to you at all times. How you allow it, is how you realise it. And when you focus in resistance, you cannot allow it, so you feel bad. Then you know, time to release resistance. Not surrendering who you are. Allowing ALL that you truely are. You surrender the perspective which does not allow you to allow your natural realisation of all being and becoming evermore in joy and freedom. And thus that perspective feels bad, so you reach for a perspective that feels better, and thus you allow it to come back into natural full allowed realisation.

Inspired by current dream teaching thread I have decided to ask you about your dream life and learning in dreams as well as using your own lucidity within a dream for spiritual practise or raising vibrations ... Interested to hear about dream teachers , guides ..do you have one for a long time ? How are you sure that this is your guide ? So why are our alternatives only these two -- the reality of poverty for those without modern amenities and the "hipster dream" ? What's so hipster about Native Americans before the advent of "modern amenities?" Or about the Miao tribe in China living in caves for 6,000 years, their amazing culture an exquisite example of what you can do when you have enough and don't strive to have more than enough, now being forced by the government to apply blanket amnesia to who they are like all good little constituents do and move to cities and join the ranks of the poor in the name of modernization and progress? Or even the Amish, not that they would be a prime example of the "dream" society but they are neither technological nor poor and neither unhappy nor unhealthy? The kind of poverty that generates all other kinds is not a lack of modern technological capabilities. It's the destruction of all alternatives to these capabilities, meticulous and relentless. Sometimes good-hearted, by people who come to "really help" after the fact -- and the extent, the very nature of this help, is always help to "fit in" but never help to "opt out." For that, they aren't equipped -- nor allowed to be even considering this kind of help (that would step on some very important toes) -- nor educated in how to go about it even if by some miracle of god the lands destroyed and the resources put to the service of "modern amenities" returned. More often, however, it's not good-hearted and not altruistic in the least. It's ruthless and unstoppable and violent -- and because of that we accept it as though "development" is a force of nature, death itself, and celebrate the global death cult as our "modern amenities" lifestyle. And whoever fails to rejoice is automatically a hipster dreamer. Hipster my ass...

Have you ever suspected that your dream-self is up to something that she doesn't bother to inform your waking-self about? I often have. My dream-self seems to have a completely unbridled version of many of the traits my waking-self has suppressed, so much so that I sometimes suspect the waking-self is the dream, and the dream-self is reality. The waking-self has been taught to be, well, civilized. The dream-self, no. Hell no. What sometimes worries me is that some impulses of the waking-self that civilized life deems mandatory to inhibit may be acted upon by the uninhibited dream-self and affect the waking reality. But she does not inform the waking me because the waking me would freak out. However, I get some indirect evidence... ...does anyone know what I'm talking about?..

Please feel free to correct my thought process here: I don't know if you learned another language to the point of not having to "think" or "translate" before you speak. My point there is that you suddenly realize there is no language. Words become a thought filter. But the thoughts are not a language. They are concepts, ideas, feelings, descriptions. Language is simply a form of communicating those. I internalized German, and I was raised using English. I realized one day that I was having issues separating the two languages, slipping back and forth without thinking about what was happening. I would dream in German, or English, and then slip and speak German to English speakers, while speaking English to German speakers. After a certain point, I learned had to stop and think about which language to use, switch gears, then move forward in another language. The flow of them was equal, where over time, my engineering skills were more fluent in German due to the nature of my daily tasks. Anyway, the point being, science is proving that the part of the brain that does images only, including some dreams, most feelings, etc. is not language oriented. We do actually think (or we should) before we speak. So there is a bit of translation in the brain going on. I will have to look back at my links for studies. I really enjoyed "Stranger in a Strange Land" for this reason, since speaking Martian suddenly empowered the people who learned it. But, the visualization techniques of many different cultures and practices was the point of this response. These are rarely language related, and they reach into the depths of things beyond language, in my opinion. Where certain sounds and frequencies do have brain affects by themselves. These, however, are not language, but a type of tuning fork response. In memory of Edward, remember "E-motion"! Emotion and imagination, visualizing and feeling, connected to the deep state of mind between wake and sleep, appear to have the largest effects for me. Bringing that from the depths to our daily lives is the real magic. Why does imagination stay imagination? Why do certain things remain simple dreams? What is the difference between just visualizing, and visualizing things that become real? Why is it now real, and how did that happen? What is the difference between that dream that comes true, and the rest of them? Now, as far as dreams go. I can tell which dream is a future vision, and which are just dreams, without knowing why, and without being able to explain it. I can speculate, and study, and try to explain it with science terms... but it never does it justice. How do I know the thought just came from that other person? Because it sounds like their voice in my head. It is not my thought, simple. But how does that work? I don't know. It just does. It scares the crap out of people, so you learn that you just don't say anything to them. And I didn't learn any of my early experiences from a book or practices. Instead, I went searching in the books and cultures and literature for explanations for what happens to me, and ways of keeping everything in check, under control, or turning it on and off. Mostly off... riding the bus became a horrible day for me. Being in crowded places became torture. People kept trying to lie to me constantly, every day, and I know they are lying, because I can hear them doing it. Thoughts from the perverts staring at the lady like greedy little demons invading my private space made my skin crawl. When you glance over at them, they have that far-away stare directed at her cleavage, mouth slightly open, just sad... human beings... yuck. Lucky me I can usually tell what is me, and what is not me. That has always been distinct enough. When pressured for how it feels, I had to say that I had to struggle to mimic standard human processes as a child. I felt more akin to the family dog, simply feeling energy and being a witness to it, instead of being caught up in it or creating it.

After a long hiatus, I have been considering taking up qigong again. As it turns out, B.K. Frantzis has moved into my area. His center is offering ongoing classes with senior instructors. Has anyone worked with B.K. Frantzis or one of his instructors long term? Thoughts? I am primarily looking for qigong work to supplement my meditation/dream yoga practices.

That is very true. I've found the focus on dreaming is useless. You have to increase your awareness before your dreams also becomes more vivid and thus lucid. Once you have a real good vivid wake initiated lucid dream, you will never be able to say "I'm not dreaming, 100%" never anymore. Because in the dreams you say the same thing... In the dream you say "this is not a dream, not a question about that." And you say it every dream when you ask yourself if you are dreaming. The desire to recognize the illusions will not help that much. Infact, I believe that lucid dreaming is only available to those who no longer DESIRE it, but are actually already lucid enough not to desire. Every dream is vivid and lucid, but without awareness the vividness is either never perceived or reached to its full potential. Everything is a dream, even your desire to lucid dream. But it is hard to keep seeing the dream, to wake up infinite times. People get tired and wish to just continue to sleep. You really have to wake up. Even now. If you wake up atleast 5 times during the day, there is a much higher chance of lucid dreaming in the night. There are infinite illusions. Every waking means one less. For example, you might be listening to your own voice right now, as I do when I'm reading. Or you could wake up in a way as to you use other senses, or change your perception of your reality. For example, view your monitor from another perspective then your current one and observe.

I just have to expand on this. I can't tell you how deeply this has affected me. Please forgive me for breaking the flow of this thread by introducing a personal story, but I think it is really pertinent here. It has to do with Service. Prior to our move to Ohio from Ojai, California about 8 years ago, I was a regular at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. I have been long time sober, it will be 35 years in December. Finding old-timers at AA meetings is somewhat of a rarity, and when you do find one, it is truly having a jewel in the room. Finding sobriety and beginning to work the inner dynamics of the 12 steps to recovery tends to place one's feet on this path that we are all on, here on this thread. When we moved to Ohio, I found that the meetings were a little too 'street' for my tastes, and we both stopped going. No harm done as far as our own sobriety, but I realized today, after 9th's post, that I have not been Of Service the way I used to be when I was going to meetings, giving back to the structure that had placed my feet on this path that leads to enlightenment. But it was after reading the above post that I realized just how much was missing from my life. My sense of purpose has been missing; yes, life has been good, I've been close to nature, I've been gardening, reading - but not giving back. It's as though all the blessings that were given to me by those who were there for me when I first got sober have been dammed up inside, not free flowing. I realized this the moment I read 9th's post. His words shot me like an arrow in the heart. I went down to the AA meeting house in town today, but there was nobody there, probably because it was July 4th. Because I didn't sleep well last night, I took a nap when I got back. I had an incredible lucid dream of my beautiful red Arabian horse, Tango, that I used to own and ride in Ojai. She had escaped her corral, the gate was open; but I heard her hoofbeats in the distance and sure enough she came running up to me, rubbing me with her chest. I could smell her in my dream; I could feel the warmth of her under my hand on her back. the funny thing is, she always hated having a bridle put on her. She would toss her head around and hated anybody touching her ears. But in my dream, my beautiful lucid dream, she put her head down and offered her head to me, actually opening her mouth for the bit to go in; I had no problem getting the strap over her ears, she gently allowed it. I just now realized that my horse is a representation of AA for me. She is my conveyance, my way to open the dam and let the Service return. The stage is all set for me - how simple! how wonderful! And for me to think that the meeting back here were 'too street' for my tastes? Please. Give me a break. It's not like I was any beautiful smelling rose when I walked through those doors 34 years ago. I am excited about this. I just want to go, sit there, allow healing presence, return to my roots. although I have thanked you in a PM, 9th, I thank you again here - for seeing what needed to be seen, and shooting an arrow that totally landed and hit its mark on the first shot. If you stop for a moment and consider the fact that you, right now, are embodied on this planet you could then deduce there is a 50/50 chance you could once again find yourself in a similar predicament. In previous times stretching back far beyond history it appeared that the knowledge (not belief) of reincarnation was widespread and self evident which is in sharp contrast to todays scientific materialist times that believe you spin the wheel once and thats it so get all you can get with no thought for the consequence. First I'm wondering your thoughts on all of this in terms of the wheel of life and what it means to be and second the oh so interesting question of karma for if one subscribes to the principle that life is a dream within a dream and we keep living and dying in a cycle until we wise up then you can't help but wonder: Is it really fair to be "punished" via the circumstances of this life, into which you are born with ignorance, if you have no awareness of what you did the last time round? In a sense thats like compounding and its easy to see how the fools become more foolish with each step because its not like you get a guide book which says "Here's what not to do this time round" as you're thrust into circumstance which ostensibly is engineered to balance the scales which you yourself imbalanced in the first place. Kind of a crooked deal, n'cest pas? Like going into a casino. Getting $100 worth of free chips, hitting the jackpot and then being told you can't withdraw it until you've gambled again for a certain period of time and then finding yourself in debt and having to wash the dishes for the other patrons instead. At least that would be fairer because you'd know the reasoning behind it all and could've very easily said "Keep your free chips and the winnings I generated, I'm out" as you strolled out of the establishment but in the game of life there is no such option. Obviously this is a very wide reaching topic so if I've inspired you to jump off on a tangent feel free to share it so we can all explore it as all paths lead to the same place anyway and this way we might see some delightful sights we otherwise would not have.

I exist, but I am not alive. The only one who believes is alive is the ego-consciousness. If you still think you are alive then you haven't "done that projector thing". Again this sounds peculiar, but in the present there is no movement and thus no life. "No life" doesn't mean death, it just means a reality beyond movement and change, beyond life and death altogether. The only reality actually. So basically you are asking - when you wake up, how do you know you are actually awake and not just gone crazy? That's a great question actually. This question arises because you do not know who you are, it comes from the mind, otherwise this question wouldn't arise. It's just not good enough to intellectually understand what you are. Statements like "I am consciousness" or "I am life" or "I am beyond life" - obviously it's not good enough. This is something that can't be practiced. You have to see it with your own authority. If you understand this, then you know that whatever answer I give you other than this one, won't be satisfactory. You seem to want to wake up from a dream but take the dream with you as well - that is impossible. Forget about the dream, surrender it altogether. And again I don't hold beliefs about what is true. Everything I say is simply a regurgitation of the absolute truth that "whatever changes is not something that doesn't change". The only reason you are confused is because you enjoy your beliefs because they are giving your consolation and what I am saying is threatening those beliefs - that you are life, that you are what you see or hear. Even scientists know at this point that the senses do not provide an actual picture of reality so why are you still struggling? “Recognize that everything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth” - Lao Tzu. When you said "you can't believe anything you hear or see in this video game world" you were exactly right! Waking up is not about making sense of the dream/video game. It's about realizing it's false and awakening to your true nature. Once you wake up you will experience all of what I am saying with absolute certainty. The ego-consciousness is not part of you, it's a simulation. It's something like an onboard computer of your body vehicle. Read this carefully a few times: "The ego [sciential consciousness of the 6th sense of thought] uses the body to conspire against your mind [sapiential consciousness beyond the 6 senses], and because the ego realizes that its "enemy" [the sapiential mind] can end them both [ego and body] merely by recognizing that they are not part of you [the sapiential mind, your Unborn Awareness]; they join in the attack together. This is perhaps the strangest perception of all, if you consider what it really involves. The ego, which is not real, attempts to persuade the mind, which is real, that the mind is ego's learning device, and further, that the body is more real than the mind is. No one in [his or her] right mind could possibly believe this, and no one in [his or her] right mind does believe it." A Course In Miracles 6 IV 5. So it's the other way around - until you let go of it, you won't be complete. Once you wake up, life doesn't matter anymore. You can maintain the body if you want to teach other people, but you can also leave the body if you want. There is no God.

No one shares as well as you do As usual in your posts there is so much to absorb I cannot comment on much other than what I immediatly recognice. Or what your words awaken in me, so to speak. My experience with lucid dreaming, and pellucid dreaming, is that when I meditate before I go to sleep it is much easier to wake up in the dream. I used to do that a lot many years ago and had full control of my dreams every night. I had sex with everyone I wanted, could fly everywhere I wanted, change the dream in every way I wanted, I did all kinds of things. I even died at one point by choosing not to wake myself up in the middle of a falling dream. It all got boring after a while. So I started getting pellucid dreams, where I just let the dream go on and only interfere occationally. From there Ive deteriorated back to regular dreaming like I do now. From what I can gather, based on my own experience and others teachings, the no-dream state means that you dont dream, you are still awake even though the body and brain is asleep. You do inner work as usual, cultivate your self as usual(meaning not like we do now, but like a master do it when he is at the level where he reaches the no-dream state..., I can only dream to imagine how it is done). And when you wake up you dont "return" to wakefulness. You dont awake, or go to sleep, because you are in the same state of awake awareness 24 hours a day. I guess the only difference from sleeping and waking is that while sleeping you dont do dishes or wash clothes with the body. Dr. Joseph Dillard, creator of Dream Yoga(not Tibetian Dream Yoga, no), wrote me a letter a while ago explaning how enlighenment is not enlightenment if one is not enlightened even in ones dreams. Makes sense to me. Its about transcending duality, both this reality and the dream reality, and enter into onness, where the awareness is never asleep or awake, just completely aware. This does not have anything to do with the psychosis many people experience from doing lucid dreaming techniques where one dont know what is real and what is not. It cannot be achived with one technique, but only though a totality of developement of ones entire being. It seems to be a natural state to enter at some point in our awakening evolution. We wouldnt be fully aware if we go to sleep, would we. I would say that if we get fully aware, but then at some point go to sleep again, we werent fully aware in the first place. Only partial, still limited to space and time.

How do we view the subjective? Reality is not entirely a phantom or non-existent illusion. Some traditions hold this view. I cannot agree with this and I don't think Buddhists hold this view of non-existent illusive universe as held by early traditions in India. To expand on what I stated earlier, following teachings from KS are my experience and belief on what is real and unreal. The key thing is the example given below comparing the universe to a non-existent dream or mirage. Per this view universe and all the objects in it do not 'really' exist. This is a different type of illusion (maya) than the one that is held in traditions like KS. KS and most tantric traditions I am familiar with reject such type of non existent illusion which rejects the reality of existence at the practical level. Why do they reject and what is held 'real' is explained below. It is entirely consistent with my views. Though I would agree the reality is subjective, I cannot agree that it is a non-existent illusion as explained above. At practical levels and layers, the manifest universe and it's objects exist and are real. In my view, we all share the same mind space or the filed or perhaps we can call it as kaya. A person who has realized oneness understands that he/she is not separate and expand to realize or become everything -- to be one with the universe. But at practical levels, the separation always exists as I explained earlier with the example of Gautama Buddha. Gautama Buddha after attaining Buddhahood still interacted with others as a separate person while in his body. This is the only way to act at practical layer. Buddha may have realized that he is everything, but he cannot eat for others through his mouth or function with his hands/legs for others. Also he/she cannot deny the reality of their existence and call it a phantom dream, the Buddha exists like everyone else. I stated the eating/hunger example just to illustrate the reality of separation at the practical layers. Though a person realizes ultimately everything is one, he/she still differentiates at the practical layer. In my view, this continues after a person leaves the physical body also. They continue as light beings, like the deities. People pray to various deities and interact with different beings. Such as past Buddhas and other angels, etc. A loose boundary for those beings (as separate beings) also continue to exist at a practical level and that is why we still call the light being as Gautama Buddha. Temples are built to pray/connect to the Gautama Buddha and other deities. Tantric practices to connect, overlap and merge with such beings exist. Those that pray, connect or merge to one light level being get the results from that being, not from another being or deity. This shows that separation exists at practical levels in this layer also. The prayer and connect happens at the level of duality and of the local mind and are inferior to the merging. Merging is a non-dual concept and explained by some others very well on the first 2 or 3 pages of this thread/topic and discussed further for several more pages. Those that have explained the merge have done it way better than I could. I don't want to go over on the merge part again. In my view this is somewhat similar to the visualization as a Buddha or deity done by tantric practitioners. It is not simply visualization when initiated by a teacher and a student has the empowerment to actually connect to that light being or merge.

There is no self means there is no actual self, that self is mere fabrication. So no, I would not say that there is no self means there is a self. No self ("you can't pin down the Tathagata as a truth or reality even in the present life") points out the fabricated nature of self, just like 'no santa claus' points out the fabricated nature of santa claus, without implying there is a real santa claus that could exist or become non-existent. In other words: when the unfindability of something is realized, there is no more basis for the establishment of an entity in order for the four extremes to work. No, once you realize the construct of self is an illusion, you do not need to cling to any thoughts of self or no-self. You do not need any thought to be permanent. Just as I have said so many times: once you wake up from a nightmare of dream monsters, you will not ever again suffer from the delusion of dream monsters, nor do you need to constantly remind yourself that there is no dream monster, nor do you need to make any thoughts about it permanent. The need to remind yourself, do something about the dream monster, get rid of it, attempt to remember that there is no dream monster, or whatever, can only occur when you are asleep. When you wake up, all those actions are ridiculous and baseless and unnecessary. In other words: what matters is whether the realization has occur or not. It's either you wake up, or not. If you do not, then you'll do all kinds of things about the dream monster (attempt to get rid of it, try to wake up from it, try to remember it is a dream, whatever - all of which presumes some reality to the monster) - when you realize no dream monster can be found or pinned down as an actual truth, you're free from needing to do anything with regards to an unreal fabrication. I never needed to remember or make permanent the thought 'there is no self' (except to point out something to others) ever once since realization of anatta occured. There is just a thoughtless sensate delight of just intimate (no distance/separation) seeing, just hearing, without any self-referencing.

You see that's just it - you as much as they want me to believe in a kind of dream - a dream about being richer, a dream about liberty, a dream about this and that. I don't buy any of it. I don't believe Cameroon and I don't believe the others. I want to be left alone with minimum disturbance.
