Same here. While my background is soto zen, later modified because I wanted to see why I was having lucid dreams and found Tibetan dream and sleep yoga, (which, if I am not wrong is from the Bon shamanic tradition) , I don't know of do much other than the above mentioned as far as Tibetan Buddhism goes. But from what I have seen, so far, there comes a time when we have to stop reading and talking, (like I am doing right now)LOL and just sit, or practice. that seems to be where the rubber meets the road.

You know, you can wait all your life, and dream about living it. Or you can live your dreams.

You are speaking for yourself, right now. It is only when you insist that you have not been speaking for yourself, that you create the experience for yourself of not speaking for yourself. But that is not a real reality that actually exists, beyond the idea itself, as a thoughtform, as every thought that has ever been thought still exists. But these thought forms, they don't come from your Source. That is what I am talking about, when I speak of your greater Self, and your ability to align your thought and thinking with your greater being. You are not becoming less you, BUT MORE YOU, WHO YOU TRUELY REALLY ARE NOW. TRUTH! I am not talking about another! You, YOU YOU YOU! WHO YOU REALLY ARE! RIGHT NOW! That is why it is so valuable for people to meditate. Because then they can finally allow themselves to let go of their thought, and develop the clarity. And then they can look back at what they have been saying, in your case written, and how it has been contradicting yourself, for absolutely no other reason than an imagined one! "I am capable of speaking for myself, if and when I choose." And then suddenly, due to the nature of clarity that is begotten by meditation, and emotional clarity aswell, one can look back at these words and suddenly see how they make absolutely no sense at all! "Wait a minute!" you would be saying then. "I have always been talking for myself. No one can ever talk for me! That is not even physically possible! That is hilarious. That does not even exist." You begin to realise the absurdity of repeating old thought in the mode of unconscious habbitual mode repetitive dreaming. And then you wake up. And you say, hello. I am awake now. Good morning. And talk about all the things you truely came here into this physical reality to talk about. You, not some misty ghost in the sky who is trying to manipulate you. YOU YOU YOU, your own energy. Your own breath. The one who is so deeply inhereted in who it is you really are, it is forever closer to you than your own skin. And this is the one who you are that you love, unconditionally. And if you don't, again, you are not facing yourself. But faced away from it. And it does not cause or create any awareness or anything, except thoughtforms. That only point you in the direction of greater and greater unconsciousness. About your request for impressing. There is no such thing as insertion in this physical universe. However, you can create the illusionary experience of there being insertion, and trust me, NOTHING IS MORE REAL THAN THE EXPERIENCE! And then you realise, finally, that you have been creating these experiences of other people "impressing" on you. But they happen through you! You create them! You buy in to them and you give them ALL OF YOUR POWER! and you MAKE THEM USE YOUR POWER AGAINST YOU! And I say, wake up. And let go of the need to create further dreaming. Look how deep you already are in the dream of creation. There is no further reaching. You are on the leading edge of all of creation. Be proud of yourself. And claim who it is you truely really are and always have been. Your trueself, is always fully available to you here and now, where your highest and greatest truth always is! Waiting for you, to finally allowing yourself to face it. In your self validating ability to feel your way towards that greatest truty of who it is you truely really already are and always have been, by virtue of the feeling of absolute bliss as you allow yourself to awaken into who it is you truely already really always have been and always will be.

When 'somebody' uses that many 'quotes' in their 'writing', I think there "might' be a bit of a 'screw' loose. But it 'might' be a good 'topic' for 'General' 'Discussion'. In a broad sense, when you look at the fact that 99.99% of the measurable content of an atom is space, it logically flows that we are 99.99 percent space as well. I dunno. Are we actually here, or are we a dream on the backdrop of consciousness? Plato must have sat in a cave for many hours thinking about the shadows of people cast on the wall. I like the fact that you're an independent thinker. You'll find plenty of those here. Welcome.

Just as every dream-object in a dream is the consciousness of the dreamer, so is every object in the worldly appearance (wood, stone, etc.) a manifestation in the consciousness of the Source. (There is much truth in the Biblical expression that "man is made in the image of God" and the equivalent hermetic principle "As above, so below".) The implication is that one must re-connect with the Source whereby all things are possible just as all things are possible when one shifts attention from the dream-object to the dreamer. It should be obvious, however, that the re-connection to the Source assumes "resurrection in God" (one of my favorite positive expressions from a Sufi Master) as opposed to the less positive expression of annihilation of the little separatist self. Both expressions nonetheless are equally applicable.

Rudolf Steiner........Anthroposophy
Still_Waters replied to stefos's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
In pure thought-free awareness, which is understandably difficult to sustain at times, there are no thoughts and hence no objects. At that point, one can shift attention from one aspect of one's nature to the other just as a lucid dreamer can shift perspectives between that of the dream-object and that of the dreamer. One discovers how to live metaphorically in "two worlds" (virtually) simultaneously. These are great points in a great dialogue, rideforever ! Feel free to share more. -
The idea that "I" will manifest my desires .... is totally contradictory to the teachings of the major teachers on this planet who say that you must struggle and fight and study and practice and only then will you transform your own self into the real being. Manifesting things is about what you have, or the experiences you have. Spirituality is about what you are, and becoming your true self. Clearly the manifesting people are just self-centered emotional gratifiers who have very low intelligence and sincerity. They have heard that realisation is a bliss, and so they wish to gain that bliss without doing any work for it. Whether the universe gives you something or not, is not the point .... spirituality speaking. How will it profit you to own the whole world when you have no idea who you are and live in a fake dream of pleasures. A human being is complex on the inside with many parts, conscious, subconscious, older, newer, awake, asleep, physical emotional intellectual spriitual, relative and absolute. So many parts, and for most it's just a disastrous dump site. And so when they try to manifest something .... who inside them is manifesting ? One part of them wants A, another part of them wants B, another part of them want C .... no wonder they don't "get what they want". Getting what you want is a result of being a whole integrated spiritual being, which is a long journey requiring much struggle and work. And the conditions of life here with alternating joy and pain are what we need. Destiny is again something outside of you, what will I get in the future. It is not a spiritual question. spiritual question is how can I bring myself into existence.

yes. same here. I had lucid dreams as a lad, but not many in young adult hood, later after sitting every day for a few years, the lucid dreams returned, and most of my dreams are lucid, semi lucid, (where one is playing the part of the dream, but can change it at any time), and what I call "wise dreams' which are very deep, educational, and profound. I can be out hiking in our hills and I feel like I am in a lucid dream. not real, not un-real. weird fun stuff

Ah ha! Yes dream interpretation that can be very useful to get guidance from the unconscious mind etc. I listen to this sometimes when I can't sleep and I do feel energised the next day:

I have been practicing "conscious sleep" for years, as it is a very effective and illuminating process described in traditions such as Tibetan Buddhism, Sufi "dying before death", yoga, and others. In my opinion, it goes beyond "lucid dreaming". As related to the dreaming aspect, one can remain aware in the stillness and peace of deep sleep ... and then watch dream formation from start to finish. One can also watch and study the transitions between the three states of man (Deep Sleep, Dreaming, and the so-called Waking State) as well as that which lies beyond. In dream formation, one can obviously shift attention between the dream-object and the dreamer. One discovers quickly that, in a dream, one can shift attention whenever one chooses and, of course, anything is possible then. There are some dream interpretations that are very obvious as they correspond to what is in our mind during the waking state. As you duly noted, some dreams are in symbolic form. Even deeper, when one transcends the three states, one has revelations regarding the nature of Reality. The great Tibetan Yogi, Milarepa, did dream work and, after realizing that he could do whatever he wanted in the dream state, he shifted his attention even deeper and realized that he could also do anything that he wanted in the "Cosmic Dream" of which one becomes aware once one goes beyond the realm of thoughts and ego. Herein lies the nature of the miraculous but, in that state beyond the ego, there is a very interesting propensity to identify with the whole and to act in the best interests of the whole with no ulterior motives. It may appear as magick, but it is deeply spiritual --- an awakening to one's original primal nature.

Invocation methods and tools
Nungali replied to eccentric215's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
'Tricks' . The mind loves tricks , so we 'trick the mind' . Its one of the two main ways of meditation (keeping the mind fixed on what the will requires) . But trick may not be the right word. One way is to meditate 'on nothing' or one thing. This is hard for many minds, so we set up an environment where, what can distract us, brings us back to our central theme . Eg. If the invocation is of Venus, the temple (or surrounds) are all in the 'field' of Venus. There is the invocation itself, which keeps the 'mind/mouth' busy. If the eyes wander there may be a statue or image of Venus on the altar, the incense should be of Venus, any music should be 'Venusian', the tools used , for Venus. Any colours, jewels, etc. of Venus, and so on. Sometimes when learning a ritual, cards, script or images might be posted at each quarter ( for remembrance and transition from using a written script ) . Generally the mind must also be persuaded . It needs to function in its right hierarchy; mind should NOT be 'running the show' , it is however a valuable tool. 'Ether' - 'Spirit' . Fire - Will Water - feelings, emotions, psychological drives, the unconscious, etc. Air - mind and intellect, reason , etc. Earth - Physical body . With most of us, we function like this factory ; the owner is away, so is the manager . The foreman is in a panic, trying to do his job and direct everyone and run the office, take orders, do the books etc. Dont try to stop him, he will get uppity, even rebellious. What is needed is the psychological equivalent of the owner and manager getting their act together and turning up and persuading the foreman (mind) that, although they are very valuable and things can not run without them, now, they can return to their rightful place and function properly ( well done ! we cant do without you mind ! ) . So, keeping the elemental hierarchy in order will help : 'Spirit' ( another complex rave, for now I will call it 'the origin' ) brings in a 'concept', fire / will implements it in the system, water 'feelings' see how it sits there , we might even run it through our unconscious ( 'sleep on it' ) , air / mind analyses it and decides if it is viable, and how best to achieve it, and lastly earth / physical body manifests it (otherwise it was just a 'pipe dream' ). Trouble is most of us have a confused concept of spirit, suppressed or misdirected will and unruly or damaged emotions and psychological drives, so the mind is thrust to the forefront . Anywayz, enough for now ..... where you able to maintain your focus through all of this ? -
Actually, the whole verse is interesting but that particular passage caught my attention. In reading "Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton, his conclusions include the possibility that there may be various levels of creation with not-so-perfect souls-in-training creating some universes just as we ourselves create dream universes. My spiritual teacher spoke cryptically at first about "time within time". There is a story from the Yoga Vashistha which talks about worlds within worlds. The Christian Jesuit mystic Teillard de Chardin spoke about a matrix of worlds, both hierarchical and parallel. Before reading any of the above, my own visually-oriented meditations led me to the same conclusion though I readily concede that those meditations were unexpected revelations "outside the box" (so to speak) at first. That is when my spiritual mentor started to "go there" and speak on such subjects. Those are my thoughts on verse 11. I am starting to tire of the more mundane "of course" discussions and participate in them less and less. The part about "when you were one you became two" seems somewhat clear and more conventional than the rest and that's why I didn't comment on that part of the verse. Also, Jesus once said cryptically "let the dead bury the dead" and my sense is that he was talking about those who are dead to eternal life. Hence, the rest of the verse did not capture my imagination sufficiently to introduce it as a topic for discussion. Parts of the verse just seemed conventionally clear while the part that I quoted is not often discussed and hence I introduced the subject.

You're showing a picture of actors, not soldiers. They literally have just had there hair and make up done. The movie was probably 2 hours or less, lots of action. The reality of war/soldering is long hours/months/years of drudgery and monotony, some scary scenarios a fraction of the time. Being told what to do, when to do it, pretty much 24/7. I assume the dream of many soldiers/grunts after awhile is an office job, going home to friends and family by 5:00 and getting back control of there life. Often its the camaraderie, youth, and having a single over riding cause that soldiers miss. I suppose the alternative to joining an army is to find a cause you're passionate about, and put in the time and sacrifice. I respect our armed services but don't glamorize it. I had a couple friends in the Navy, father in law was Air Force, my dad's told me stories about basic training.

@ Nungali Calling everything a dream makes it impossible to discuss the psychological and practical problems of losing one's ability to differentiate between sense perceptions and dreams or hallucinatory images.

Its complex. And 'dumbed down' by non-traditional understandings. It’s an English word used to describe the particular cultural beliefs of the many different Aboriginal groups, and each language group largely has its own words to describe the mythology and the foundation beliefs of the people. And each group has an individual expression. In Bundjalung it has more of the meaning I was inferring in relation to your comment : " Nature (or evolution) has put a barrier between the world of our dreams and the world of our waking live, so there is reason to believe that we are more fit for survival when these worlds are kept apart." That is, they become more fit for survival by incorporating their 'dreamtime' in their waking life. And they see a link between being in this state of receptive waking consciousness and 'night dreaming' consciousness. But also everything is a dream as well ( think of concept of 'maya' ), that is the very primal and central first creation myth before the dreamtime ... all of this ( the world, environment, landscape features, me, you, etc ) is art of a dream a big snake is having. When he wakes up, me ,you , all of this ... finished . So even when awake, we are in a dream. The original word (and group understanding) the translation came form is tJukurrpa and is one traditional term used by several groups of Central Desert languages to describe what would probably be the religion and the Laws of the people, and in some ways a description of Reality. https://austhrutime.com/aboriginal_dreaming_tjukurrpa_.htm Scott Cane's ( see in link ^ ) book on this is excellent , he shows maps of these. He is very experienced and he asked some of his raditional elder friends if he could accompany them on one of these trecks . They simply said " No - You will die" . because he didnt understand the link between 'the dreaming' and survival in that harsh environment . Ummm ... I dont know of such a culture either ,. Did I infer somehow that there was ?

Well all this uncertainty seems to be helping the Brexiteers camp as more people seem to be losing faith in the government to do anything other than serve buSINess! You get people being interviewed about how it's going to effect their buSINess and most are cherry picked to tell a story of doom and gloom if we leave without a deal. Of course some buSINess are looking forward to trading with the rest of the planet but we don't hear much from them, strange that! So let's have no doubt that it's big buSINess that will loose especially CEO's that have been paid off over the years with ginormous bonuses. We also have the unknown aspect of how many MP's are being blackmailed or leaned on financially to tow the line! The media seems really biased towards remain which again smacks of dodgy goings on. Where's the daily positives of leaving and trading with the rest of the world? OK so Jeremy Hunt is now standing up saying a no deal Brexit is nothing to fear but he's doing this while saying I want to be PM! Bonkers!! Well at least he's got bigger balls than Boris the tosser! It's like a bad dream as this whole process should have been fairly easy. If nothing else the scum have outed themselves and won't be forgotten very soon.

Unlocking the Secrets of the Wounded Psyche
rideforever replied to Bindi's topic in General Discussion
I think it's critical that you understand that a box that has been emptied of junk is not therefore full of light, and before you know it the junk is back in the box. And also that you can't wash with dirty water. It's really critical you understand this. Mostly people doing such practices are more like learning basic things about themselves and orientation withing themselves but nothing more. Light is not of this world but held within beings who have invoked it on their journey. It is an energetic transmission of purity from outside of this universe. Okay many big words but just to explain ... it is of much higher frequency and self-recognition than the stuff ot this universe. This is why spending time in Holy Company is essential then you just feel it in the teacher, later you feel it in you because you start vibrating at that frequency and then you cultivate that part of you that has become active. It is also possible to receive transmission from books or photos of teachers and so on ... as long as you have at least a little bit active inside you. You have to be ready and mature in your life as well otherwise you won't really try, surrender, or open. You can for instance look at a picture of Ramana Maharshi or Ramakrishna and feel their Light and pull it inside you, or vibrate with the picture and so on. The halo is the higher being body that is vibrating at much higher level, therefore it is a map. Same thing happens in the Dantien if that is your route, when listening to TTC try to feel the state Laozi must have been in when writing such things, feel the state itself of the valley, in the belly. And one has to recognise the awakened identity either in Consciousness (in the head) or if you are taoist then in the belly, hence talk of the of the little man in the belly .... but just feel that when breathing from the belly, sit with it and feel that "I" am down there, like you are looking at the world from the belly. So with respect to Jung, I don't mind what he is doing ... but they don't really know what they are doing ... that's why they drift into poetry at the end. Where spirituality is using much more accurate techniques to awaken and truly the spiritual understanding of what is inside is vastly greater than psychology. But psychology represents an attempt to awaken the human being so it is in a way advanced, but when it drifts into dream analysis and so on ... it's just churning rubbish. The value of psychology is to be a conscious person, who is conscious in his life, present, clear in the mind and so on, the awakening of the person. Probably they drift into dreams stuff because they wish to also work on the subconscious, and they don't know how better to do it. It's not bad just very expensive an time consuming and impractical for many people. Sorry slightly ranty, a lot of different things here. -
Clarification on Constructiveness of Posts

A forum that claims it is a Spiritual site should ignore life's tough problems, issues, ? Really? Then what good is the Spiritual if it cannot address life's tricky situations? This site proudly claims Discussions on the Way and along the Way we encounter all sorts of stuff. This IS the place for those discussions? Yes or No How does anyone reach a level of understanding if we sweep all of the tough stuff under the rug and pretend it doesnt exist? To get to the place where bluebirds sing and fly, where troubles melt like lemon drops and the dreams you dare to dream really do come true way up high you first have to deal with what faces us all here. Here We Are. There IS a light that shines on All. To get to Spring you must endure Winter. The leaves blow across the long, black road to the darkened skies In it's rage. Accept it and deal with it at least discuss it or be some imprisoned bird in a cage where you never are allowed to Fly. That would truly be a shame and a pity. If you refuse to fly through the darkened stormy skies you will never reach where you claim that you desire. If Flying to the promised land were easy we wouldn't even need spirituality, would we? You have wings, it is up to you whether you dare to use them or not. Do you wish to remain caged and flightless on a winter's day in the rain, or, you gonna flap them wings and try. -
You are experiencing yourself in all the different ways that you can, forever. And knowing who you are not, allows you to know more clearly who you are aswell. If there was nothing outside of you, you would not have the ability to be conscious of self or "other." So there is great value in the variety of the contrast through which you carve out your own unique and personal preferences. The problem only occurs, when one tries to look for their preferences in the contrasting variety that inspired those personal preferences. The "unwanted" reality is not to be dwelled upon, but to inspire you to move towards your greater desire, which in turn will yield new contrast and variety to inspire further expansion of clarity and knowing. And often people look at their reality and think that it is all there is, and so they give up on their wants and preferences, and so they never create the life they were eager to create here before they came into this physical environment. And unintentionally and unknowingly they hold on to the very thing they say they don't want. But this physical reality we perceive has been created from the past. So what you see here is actually not present tense reality. This is actually old reality, for the purpose of inspiring a greater desire than the one we previously had the capability of realising for ourselves. Often people have to die, before the dream can become a reality, and so every new reality only causes people to dream untill they die. However, if one just allows themselves to dream with more deliberate focus, then this power and momentum that comes with consistency accelerates the translation of the dreams into reality. Thus, one can have a dream in this reality and live it in the same reality aswell. And it is ALWAYS like that, eternally. The expansion never stops and the flow never ceases to flow. And if you move with it, unconditionally, you have an enjoyable experience and ride. And if you stop, thinking you are not worthy of the very thing you have realised yourself, you are blocking a current that stems from the Source of All Creation, that is infinite in nature and expansiveness. So the current beats up on you, which in turn yields greater resistance and more pain and suffering. While if you let go with the flow, now all those old grudges dissapear and you lose everything, but you thereby gain everything. You lose what you thought you needed, but didn't need. You gain what you thought you didn't want, but you actually need in order to be happy and live a fulfilled and happy life, through which you have to ability to create your life, rather than regurgitate the life that is already here. In harmonic resonance with the natural current of well-being that is the stream of infinite and eternal existance whom eternity hinges upon your valuable expansion of desire realised after desire! There is nothing greater in value than the value of who you are. For without you, existance would not be complete! It would not be ALL that is! So you have no choice but to awaken fully the all of the desires that have been realised by you, when you die. But more and more, people are beginning to realise that they don't have to die in order to wake up to all that they have become. And that is why we are here, on this location of planet earth, where the party is at. This is currently the leading edge of creation. This is the big happening. Right here and now. Most people think they are being left out of the party, but they are not. To give an analogy to what is actually happening is like this. They are at a party, a huge party. And their vision is completely veiled, and they are dazed. And they have a phone in their hands. And they look at their phone. And on the phone there is a message. The message is an invitation to the party. They find it hard to believe that we're all infinitely and eternally worthy beings. As they look at their phone, their mind races through all of their life experiences that they've had, of which all of it has led to this moment. And they think or believe that they are stuck in the past, unable to allow themselves to move forward, with the deservingness that is already theirs. But in reality, they're not stuck. Infact, in reality, they are already at the party that they've been trying to reach their entire life. And this party is the joy that never ends and is eternal in nature. And unconditional in deservingness. As you look at your physical reality, in its now current state, that is like looking at your phone and thinking about the past. This present physical reality has been created by those who came before, it has nothing to do with who you are and have allowed yourself to become and what you have come here for to create as an infinitely and eternally and unconditionally worthy being and creator of life experience after another. And the side effect are that physical manifestation will occur, yes. But those have never been the primary goal. The only goal that has ever been the goal is the joy of the endless and infinite and eternal and never ending and ever expanding journey that is existance coming to know itself in all the ways that it can in all of the freedom that it infinitely and eternally always has been, is and always will be. You are so free, you can choose bondage. And if you realise you don't wanna do that, you just don't do that anymore. That's it. And then there's nothing left again, but the purity of the truth of the eternally worthy nature of your being. Nothing serious has ever been going on. There has never been a vulnerability of your eternal nature, never an idea that something can go wrong. Just the idea and knowingness that you can choose to experience AS IF something has gone wrong, but that never means something has actually gone wrong. For the well-being abounds eternally and infinitely, and thus immense powerful beings such as the physical humans of this planet have chosen this experience of limitation, as a challenge, for they knew that they could handle it and they knew, that as with their eternally worthy nature of their knowing, that absolutely nothing but good could thus come out of it. And then you have a completely new plateau of joys available to you the height of which has never been reached before, ever, in all of creation, even as all of creation looks on to you, in eager expectation, for their holding the knowingness that you have left behind FOR YOU eternally, so that you have a home to return to, after the long journey. And that home is already here and now, but it is subtle, and part of your greater consciousness, that you will allow to flow fully through you, either in this life, or after. And I fully believe that this life is fully capable of supporting your highest joy, in all the ways that it can. Without any falter. Because when you die, all times exist in the same 1 space. You don't have to die to already know that the future you seek, is already right here and now fully contained within the greater consciousness of all that you truely are, and that you have the full capability in this physical environment, that if you can conceive it in your mind, you can create it, without exception. You just have to understand that the creation is already done, by your greater being. And your task is only one and singular. To align your deliberate focus with that of your highest conceivable joy, by virtue of your heart's guidance system that helps you know wether you are focused in alignment or not with the knowing of your greater being that holds all of the greatness that you have realised for yourself in vibrational escrow, For you, eternally. And beams it out to you infinitely and eternally, always here and now, where all times and all places always exist. And you translate the vibrational alignment/misalignment between your physical body and your greater "soul" consciousness through your most sophisticated sense of emotions, which forever help you and guide you always without falter and in the most meaningful way that is possible for you. The expansion is not in the structure of existance, but the expansion is of the consciousness which is the perspective that existance has of it self, that expands eternally and infinite into more and greater and better, eternally. For the freedom is boundless and the speed is infinite and thus, here you are, perceiving yourself in this unique way that you now perceive, and you do this so effortlessly, that you don't even know you're doing it. That's how powerful you are. So powerful, you can create the experience for yourself of being powerless. And there is nothing you need to do in order to regain your power. There is only everything that you need to stop do, in order to allow yourself to be who it is you already are as an eternally worthy and blessed being of infinite creation. There is great ease and love and appreciation and joy in allowing yourself to fully be who it is you truely already are.

It's a moving target - there is no goal post

Funnily enough if you stop searching there is endless peace. It's just the urge to seek, to find the reason for it all, is prominent. I have found for me anyway it goes in cycles. 3-4 months of seeking, meditating, questioning, exploring other paths, reading the Quran for example, or ACIM, and seeing how bits of each fit in to my experience. Then suddenly I have some "event" happen which seems to rush through me like a wave and then for a few weeks I have no interest in spirituality at all. I live like a "normal" person, in the dream, until for some reason I snap out of it. This cycle has occured about 12 times now for about 4 years. The frustration now is no longer not being enlightened but rather not being able to effectively help others either awaken or progress spiritually. Hence my thread about just that, yesturday. For a long while I didn't help people. I thought I was interfering with their Dharma by helping them. That maybe they need to suffer to awaken, that by trying to help people I am getting in the way of natural awakening. It also seems that people awaken just by being in my presence. And a few people have told me I have a lightbody and it is pure white, honestly though I only go on what I experience and as I cannot see energy, I don't put much thought/trust into that. I also read some books by Dolores Cannon that describe "2nd wavers" - people who have come to earth and just walking through a supermarket elevates other peoples consciousness. It resonated with me hugely, but then some of her later teachings started feeling like gobbledee gook.- 107 replies

It's true that nice guys are not nice. Nice guys aka beta males... the orbiters of hot women, who orbit her, compliment her, be lovely to her, with the dream or expectation of sex from her in return... does that sound like a nice person to you? Karma deals with it though. She uses them for attention or money, they suffer... The problem is they never learn. This is why Earth sucks right now, people are making the same mistakes over and over and never learning from them.

what great synchronicity. just about 15 mins ago I was reflecting on this very topic. I have no answers of course, but for me, it seems like a find razors edge of engaging in this moment, and the idea of preparing for what will come, i.e, death of the body, immortality of spirit, etc. I see this so called physical reality as not being separate from spiritual immortality, I sometimes see this life as the Bardo of Tibetan Beliefs, or the "in-between state". After all, if one is in the bardo, they would think it was the so called real life, much like dreaming and thinking the dream was real. What I am trying to suss out in my weird way is the pathless path. I to meditate every day . And also do some simple nei gung breathing for energy I have done MA for over 40 years, including 10 years of tai chi, but my approach is one of play, and not so much trying to make something happen, or change my nature. hard to put into words. thanks for your reflections. yes science has proven that hearing is the last perception to go before final death - that's how scientists prove if someone is dead. And of course the Tibetan book of the dead is read outloud to the dead. But science can now use MRIs to prove a person who is in a coma without any external perceptions (apparently) STILL is responding internally in their brain to external sounds! So this has caused people to not get the plug pulled on them. Also if we constantly empty out the left brain source of thoughts - as the source of the I-thought - then our dreams become lucid. While we are dreaming suddenly we will empty out our visual dream realm into the source of the I-thought. Whereas if we rely on external vision as sound - (i.e. written language) this is very difficult while dreaming because written language is such a superficial level of perception. This is similar to keeping "time" with your hands. Try keeping a steady beat with your left hand while the right hand does a syncopated rhythm. No problem. Now try reversing that - the right hand can not keep a steady beat. Why? Our sense of time is actually a deeper perception of rhythm via the vagus nerve and the cerebellum. So while vision crosses the brain wiring via the cerebellum - hearing is the opposite. This is why in Daoist alchemy the left ear is Yuan Qi as the tiger's roar (or yang qi) while the right ear is the yin qi as the dragon's humming. But the left eye is the yin qi as the dragon and the right eye is the yang qi. So the eyes are reversed because when we CLOSE the eyes then we "turn the light around" and listen to the source of the Light. So if you read notes on Daoist alchemy this secret is given - to SEE with the EARS and the hear with the eyes. It sounds very mysterious but actually if we understand the vagus nerve connection to the right side of the brain with the ear as being vagus nerve dominant then it makes sense. For example when we get the chills or tingles from listening to music - that means the vagus nerve has been activated that increases dopamine levels. that's the limit of Western music unless you get slower BPM as trance music that synchronizes the heart - so like 60 beats per minute - that increases the alpha serotonin (the secret of right brain memorization). I will quote a Tibetan medical doctor that emphasizes this secret. Tibetan medical doctor listening secret
