  1. A strong dose of ayahuasca or formosahuasca will enable 4 hours of nonstop full lotus meditation with a loud OM sound from the heart as the jing converts to shen via the 2nd chakra opening up - Salvia in full lotus also activates the kundalini But these are just tools to help activate the serotonin kundalini energy - whereas qi energy is more powerful than an electrochemical means. But diet is key to the qi training - you want to build up serotonin and potassium - so salt will shut down your energy channels. Sugar creates free radicals against the qi - and cortisol. Coffee increases cortisol. Alcohol activates the sympathetic nervous system. So pretty much modern civilization food goes against advanced training - food is a drug as much as just energy. advanced meditation is based on fasting. So - the San Bushmen did use some kind of psychedelic as a tool to help activate the N/om energy - but it was considered not the real thing. But then again they also did not have sugar nor salt - you can get sodium from vegetables and - I mean they ate honey some times and fruit. But over all - food itself is a kind of drug - so ideally the diet is limited. But if you do try a psychedelic visionary plant-root combo as used in the Amazon rainforest - this is a very strong medicine. It definitely takes you into a beyond death astral realm - but it is the qi energy that enables this realm to not just succumb to subconscious visions. If you just rely on electrochemical means to access the spirit light - then your qi is not strong enough and so your thalamus subconscious becomes too real. The qi energy means you can consciously control your thalamus limbic brain and so over-ride the subconscious downloading of the images. So you will have visions but you will also be able to analyze them in real time as subconscious visions - without thinking they are real. Similarly we need to be able to control our dreams and analyze them - and so eating too much salt will keep a person awake or alcohol will destroy the dreams or have like salt - too much awake - depending on what part of the sleep cycle. So caffeine is the most common psychotropic drug - and so it decreases blood flow to the brain by blocking the dopamine receptors. Alcohol blocks the GABA receptors. So caffeine is not as bad from green tea - since it does not activate the cortisol as much as coffee does. But still for meditation you want to increase the serotonin - and so if you have caffeine it keeps the neurotransmitters stuck in the dopamine. Of course if you do strong standing active exercise - you can more easily burn through these imbalances. Like the Kervan transformations - deep oxygen plus electromagnetic increase transforms sodium into potassium. Meditation is then using your ego - as a kind of controlled visionary quest - whereas a strong psychedelic will drop the blood flow to the brain and instead causes a deeper biophoton subconscious activation - just as a mantra will shut down the prefrontal cortex so these deeper connections can become dominant - but with a strong visionary plant-bark - you can not choose to stop the mantra - it has to wear off. The plant-bark drug is in control of your mind and you have to wait. So meditation is rather seeking out no thing being in control - instead of switching your ego for a plant-bark drug - you tune your ego to switch to nothing being in control - or resonance with the source of reality itself. This is why Master Nan, Huai-chin says for successful meditation you have to use a very strong ego - you have to be very selfish in order to have the focus to build up the energy to go beyond the Self as the ego. Or Ramana Maharshi says you have to use your mind to kill the mind - so to speak. It is a paradox since our ego disappears every night in deep dreamless sleep yet we can infer something must remain if we are aware in reality - we are not just biological machines? So taking drugs is just switching over to a different kind of biological machine - it can take you into spiritual realms of visions but visions are not the ultimate reality - the mind can not be seen. But we can logically infer its existence, as we do from after deep dreamless sleep. We wake up going - oh I had a blissful sleep and I really needed that. So we were not aware of the bliss when it happened but only after the fact. And so in deep meditation - as Ramana Maharshi says - the mind gets so strong as spirit light that you can not feel your body, nor does even the physical universe exist anymore - and so also your sense of ego disappears into the light. And so just as in deep dreamless sleep - then you wake up realizing that the real you is neither your mind nor your body, nor your physical surroundings. So no drug can do that because even if you are tripping out and everything is light - your mind is still gonna wonder - from where does the light come from? And the real question is who is thinking that? And so you can only logically infer the answer or listen to the source of the light, in silence, thereby resonating with the source of the light. So you could even have visions of the future that come true - which begs the question - which was more real? YOur vision of the future or when it happened in the present (the 2nd time). We might realize from strong drugs that our whole life has been a dream that ended in a flash of light, just as a dream does while asleep - but that still does not mean there is something that remains that we can not see.
  2. That's an interesting theory based on the conventional majority view but an examination of the nature of dreaming can be used to reveal that the world has no more reality than a lucid dream. Alternatively, the conventional belief in the existence of the world can be deconstructed by a myriad of other methods. However, those are two completely different topics. The topic of this thread is the practical applications of Jung's theory about the Shadow. \thread ends\ (unless anyone gets back on topic within 48 hours.) πŸ˜‰
  3. No, I have developed my own dream work methods, like you not Jungian. I learnt more from reading Edgar Cayce and Denise Linn, and attending one seminar.
  4. Thanks Bindi! I don't approach dream interpretation either with myself or with clients in the way that Jung seems to have approached it. Nevertheless, I'm glad that his work on dreams is useful for your own Shadow work.
  5. Your post just made me laugh, I liked your attitude I read one Jung book, β€œmemories, dreams, reflections”, and that was enough, my main interest was in dream interpretation and working with dreams, which is intrinsically shadow work anyway.
  6. Emotions are the path

Cleansox mentioned β€œinsubstantial water” as being the substance worked with in neidan in another thread, instead of commenting on it in that thread I wanted to bring it here because in dream work water relates to the state of the emotions, dirty water, wild water, no water, it’s like an analogy for what I perceive as the emotional channel and the state of it. I don’t know if people who have studied under neidan masters would agree that β€œinsubstantial water” = emotions, but I thought this was worth pursuing as part of this topic.
  7. Emptiness vs Visualizations

The last link is a long quote from my 2000 master's thesis. Someone posted it to their facebook page. So the point here is basic alchemy - as I posted in the first time - to achieve Emptiness the lower tan tien has to be filled with yin qi energy first. Taoist Yoga confirms this - the cavity referred to opens up after the lower tan tien is filled up. The light of vitality manifests when the Tai Chi is experienced. This means that the "Cavity of spirit" - the third eye - is closed - and then opens up as the Cavity of Original Spirit - once the lower tan tien - the Cavity of Spirit-Vitality - is filled with the yin qi energy. So the small universe practice - this is visualization but the Heart's Fire is the yin qi energy from the liver energy. This is why at night your spirit goes back to your liver - the visualization then manifests as subconscious desires which then deconverts your yin qi back into yin jing (blissful heat) and then reproductive fluid lost as ejaculation. So then the green dragon is the purification of the yin qi energy - so that the "heart's fire" descends to be below the water - the yin jing energy - thereby transforming the yin jing (blissful heat) into increased yin qi - which then increases the power of your spirit - yin shen. So then when the yin qi is full enough this activates the yuan qi of the heart which also opens up the third eye of the pineal gland - and so then your "heart's fire" will actually transmit out of your eyes via the pineal gland and so then your spirit will see light around other people - because your spirit has enough yin qi energy powering it. When the yuan qi is strong enough then you have telepathy which is the Schumann Resonance field I mentioned in the first post - so your magnetic qi is 1000 times stronger than the normal heart magnetic field - as the Schumann Resonance is also a 1000 times greater. So first the jing energy has to be built up but only through purification which causes the spirit fire to get below the water to create the qi energy - that is the secret process. Only by sublimation of the water - as the White Tiger - through the Quick Fire breathing - the deep fast breathing that activates the sympathetic nervous system of the adrenal medulla (the top of the kidneys as the Yuan Qi energy source) - then does the heart's fire get properly pulled down. My website has all the details on this. Quick Fire White Tiger Lung Metal, the yang in the water is used to settle the yin in the fire Green Dragon liver: to keep the yuan shen from going out of the eyes - more Quick Fire Tai Chi. This is a good point - but you are pointing out the difference between formless awareness emptiness and visualization. So for example - Ramana Maharshi points out that there is a conflation of visualization with emptiness. See Ramana Maharshi, Talks With Ramana Maharshi: On Realizing Abiding Peace and Happiness (Inner Directions; 2nd edition, August 1, 2000) and This is a very subtle difference yet it was understood by Ramana Maharshi. People have conflated light with formless awareness and you can see why - Ramana Maharshi is not clear about this. But that's also why in Tibetan yoga formless awareness is called "clear light" and why the original qigong master says to visualize clear light in the center of the body for the "moving of yin and yang" exercise. Ramana Maharshi says and So what this is referring to is actually the Yuan Qi - which is the formless awareness that is also the energy of the universe. If you look at the final stage of Taoist Yoga it is that the person - the immortal - merges back into the formless qi of the universe. So this is also proven in science, as my website details, there was a recent experiment that actually captured the "virtual photons" of the quantum vacuum. Virtual photons are from the future! Normally virtual photons can not be turned into actual photons of light - only by "squeezing" the light so it is beyond the limitations of time-frequency uncertainty of the planck constant - then the light can be captured. Science has also proven that human hearing is faster than time-frequency uncertainty. So that is the secret of Mouna Samadhi - it actually enables precognition and telepathy - but it's power depends on the Yuan Qi being activated via the heart-pineal gland connection. Once the pineal gland is opened up then it is a permanent transformation - a permanent magnetic activation - this is what Gurdjieff called a Number 4 person. But to get to a Number 5 person is very difficult - that means the pineal gland is fully open so that nirvikalpa samadhi is stablized - the Emptiness can be gone into at any time. A number 5 person can then do healing reliably as a qigong master - but it is very rare. As Master Nan, Huai-chin says what happens is a person opens up the pineal gland but then has "heroic over-exuberance" by using the spiritual powers that manifest - telepathy, precognition, healing others - and once the power is used then the person "falls back into worldliness." Now this process of falling back into worldliness is very easy since the energy is naturally sucked up by others being attracted to it - based on the yin-yang dynamics and so to store up the energy you need to keep people from constantly taking your energy. But Ramana Maharshi did specify that the formless awareness is NOT LIGHT yet at the same time the formless awareness creates light - and it does so based on the three in one unity. That again is the secret of the alchemical training that is spelled out in the Taoist Yoga manual. So the three in one at first is based on fire, water and (earth/metal).....but then it goes to sun/moon and earth (human). So that means based on the sun/moon/earth is that certain times of the year make resonating the formless awareness as light energy more easily - and that is right now. Science has proven that during the equinox and solstice there is increased solar aurora energy on Earth - and so for example one Solstice I got a strong shock in the middle of my brain with bright light flashing. But in the normal training the key is "grounding" the energy as alchemy details first the yin qi energy of the "yin heel" channels have to be filled up and so that's why the standing active exercise is done 3 times more compared to visualization sitting meditation. The yin qi energy has to be built up to power the shen spirit. We are all already ghosts we just don't realize it. The secret of alchemy is that after birth the yuan qi energy separates out into spirit ghost energy that goes out of the eyes during the day and goes back to the liver at night - and so what powers that ghost energy as life is the green dragon yin qi energy of the liver - the "heart's fire." At puberty the pineal gland shuts down, the thymus closes up the heart energy - the REM theta brain waves shut down - and the reproductive organs start focusing on creating fluid - and so the fire energy goes out of the eyes and this causes our spirit energy to have information focused on the lower emotions of desire so that our hormones are changed into fluid. Now the adrenaline is proven by science to be a positive feedback system. This is why Quick Fire of the sympathetic nervous system activation of the adrenal medullae (the yuan qi) source - it sublimates the jing energy to the brain which then via the pineal gland causes even more increased adrenaline. As Wim Hof has proven through science the adrenaline is increased 200 times more than normal just by the deep reverse breathing and the breath retention is then what transfers that sympathetic nervous system energy over to the parasympathetic nervous system. My website quotes the science - holding the breath AFTER EXHALE - activates the right side vagus nerve which is the reproductive organ energy connection to the right side of the heart - the source of the Yuan Qi energy. So with each cycle of that practice you increase the yin qi energy stored up in the organs which then increases the power of the light. As Taoist Yoga Alchemy and Immortality states - the training is all by fire - so the Quick Fire increases the jing and the increased jing then increases the yuan qi and the yuan qi of the pineal gland - then increases the shen energy and then increased shen then increases the jing energy. That's the "small universe" cycle. So you know when the lower tan tien is filled with yin qi energy - when the leg channels have opened up and you can sit in full lotus in ease. That's why I wrote an article "you can't fake the full lotus." It is very easy for the mind - the ego - to lie to itself - whereas the Yuan Qi energy is formless awareness that is the Emptiness. So yes we can get information via the pineal gland which then transduces that information to manifest through our bodies. In other words reality is holographic - if a person has an anger blockage then my liver will get very hot - why? Because my shen interacted with the shen of the person and then via my pineal gland heart connection - the shen energy was downloaded - transduced - back into a jing blockage of that other person. Or if I make eye contact with a person and suddenly I am overwhelmed by sadness - that is a lung blockage. So then as my website details - the biophoton healing means that my synchronized harmonized light had gone into that person which then exorcised their disbalanced light - the spiritual source of their jing blockage - and my spirit sucked up their disharmonized spirit energy. But it is the formless yuan qi that enables this transformation to take place and so by continuing in full lotus the jing blockage - say the burning hot liver - or the sadness of the lungs - is transformed again - it is exorcised by being harmonized back into synchronized light. But it is the yuan qi of the heart - that is the pinhole through the right side of the heart - that creates this secret black hole/white hole connection to the Emptiness itself and it is then traveled by the yin shen - the spirit light energy. And so a qigong master with the pineal gland fully open can then become a Number 6 person which then can create a new astral yin shen body out of the formless awareness - this is a total transformation of another person out of the formless awareness. I saw the original qigong master doing this - he creates a new individualized spirit for each person he is healing! And this spirit then builds out of his pineal gland - out of the top of the head, breaks off and floats out to the person being healed. Then another spirit forms. What causes this process - the deep heart formlesss awareness yuan qi energy. And the healing is not just of people alive but also healing of ghosts - the disharmonized light being held to Earth by the lower emotional jing blockages are then attracted to the qigong master and I saw these ghosts hovering around the qigong master and he explained that they were coming to get healed by him. This is why the alchemy training creates a "gold aura" - which is the highest aura of the yang shen manifesting. Just as gold is created by fusion of neutrons in science - from a supernovae - the deep yuan qi formless awareness is this black hole white hole fusion transformation that is stored up in the lower tan tien. So as Wang Liping demonstrated - such a person with the gold aura can then walk through a wall!!!! Because their physical body is completely one with the yuan qi formless awareness itself. Such a body can bilocate to manifest multiple other physical bodies at the same time - as H.W.L. Poonjaji did during his birthday. haha. But Poonjaji was not AWARE that he did this. That is the difference between spiritual ego self-awareness and the formless awareness. In Mahayana Buddhism you do not achieve supreme complete enlightenment unless you are self-aware in the LIGHT that you created multiple other yang shen physical bodies. Poonjaji only became self-aware AFTER the fact. For example in the biography of Phra Achran Mun his colleague levitated but as soon as he became SELF-AWARE that he was levitating then he fell down. So he had to train in his samadhi to be self-aware while meditating. What does that mean? It means the spiritual ego as synchronized light is able to travel into the black hole and transform into a white hole - have a vision of the future - while at same time KNOW that it is a vision of the future. In other words when you have a dream that is much more real and vivid than being awake then you will realize this dream - also the information is nothing from your past - you realize this dream is of the future and so you make note of it and you analyze it. That it an example of developing a type of samadhi that has the light go into the Emptiness and yet maintain self-awareness. The Bushmen describe this challenge as the type of trance staring that does healing of other people. It is very difficult to maintain that trance staring - why? Because it is the synchronized light itself! It is the synchronized resonating light that creates a holographic laser as self-aware consciousness that goes into the Emptiness and that is why it is very difficult to maintain this type of self-aware samadhi as the three in one unity. It is like riding a bike - you learn to ride a bike and once you learn you have that skill - but the skill is from feeling and practicing because it is your body consciousness that knows the skill - and so tai chi training is proven to increase your "fast neurons" - just as running also increases the mitochondria of the fast neurons. But what is the origin of the fast neurons? It is the sonofusion acoustic cavition energy itself - Dr. Mae-Wan Ho documents this - the meridians of the body manifest as this piezoelectric ultrasound quantum energy fusion. And so qigong master Yan Xin was documented to make gamma rays as a byproduct of his healing. Why? Because when you collide gamma rays you create matter from energy - and so the synchronized light is a holographic creation of new physical matter as a new yang shen body. The yuan qi formless awareness is outside of spacetime - it is the quantum entanglement of the white hole/black holes as a wormhole.
  8. Tibetan Dream Yoga

I’m on retreat at the moment and just woke up from having a lucid dream, felt compelled to visit this site, found this post and one I started 10 years ago! Fun stuff... No time right now but I will try to post a bit about dream yoga as soon as i have a bit more time.
  9. A Dao Bums Retreat?

Post-Covid, of course. My little vision is to find a peaceful spot that maybe rents out cabins, and that we could have a retreat for maybe 3 days. That there wouldn't be any particular focus of the retreat, but we can do group meditations on the spot, or whatever. We've known each other soul to soul for years, and I can't tell you how wonderful it would be to meet other Bums in person. And people could bring their musical instruments if they want, we can have fun with each other's talents. At the very least, share photos of artwork on our phones. And it shouldn't be too awfully far from a good restaurant, but on the other hand a nice remote and peaceful feeling. I know, I'm not asking for much. Electricity would be nice. Same with flushing toilets. A central location might be the most desirable as far as everyone's convenience. But I would have a willingness to fly anywhere. We may have plenty of time visualize the dream retreat, for our purposes. (Whatever we decide those will be) So if anybody knows of a suitable location for this type of seminar, please contribute to this thread. It would be sort of fun to create a parallel universe while the rest of the planet implodes on itself.
  10. Request for feedback

I think it is a sign of openness and connectedness. I suggest a creative outlet to channel the imagination - prose, poetry, music, painting, drawing, dance, higher maths, a non-profit, whatever... something to focus it a bit. And that can change from time to time. Sounds like you’re quite literally living the dream. Congrats!

Most major religions have their roots in a teacher of the CLO , although most people who followed or now follow the religion would not usually know the founder was a CLO monk/teacher. Shargung La is the final place where the Children of the Law of One retreated to after the final destruction of Atlantis in 10,500 BC, they also went to Egypt, the Pyrenees, and the Yucatan. Many energy and meditation practices originate from Tibetan mountains and even the Shargung La area in Tibet, a subtropical warmer area inside the deepest gorge in the world amidst the freezing Himalayas. Though the Shargung La Monastery was attacked and destroyed, and many monks were killed in 1990, there are still some monks and guides in the area even though modern science thought that humans had never lived there. 12. MLK 44

omg I would love to find those. If you have those coins, you should put them out, drop'em on the street at random. Some person will find them and if they live with a foot in the more mystical side of the world, the coins might give them pause. A moment or two think about the odds of finding such strange objects, to reflect if there's any meaning they can draw from the coins into there life. (i bet somewhere out there is a person who tarot cards outside, for just this reason) I'm somewhat inspired by Robert Moss's work on the shamanic side of dreaming. As a spiritual exercise he states we should "Take our dreams more seriously and take real life more as dreams". Keeping an eye out for synchronicities, symbols, archetypes; using dream interpretations in our real life. Seeing what happens. First thing is a certain fearlessness and not taking things as seriously. Second it hones the awareness because you're looking at the world for signs or letting them come to you. An interesting cloud, a falling leaf, can be matters of importance and lead you one direction or another (helps to be retired). That's the 'foreground' level, in the background your subconscious is gaining a little more free reign, with resources we most often ignore. You're guided by an intelligence often left dormant. I have a section on this in my PPD 'Life as dream'. I don't use it all the time, but when I do, it leads to fascinating experiences, and hopefully that rubs off a little bit on me when I'm not consciously using it.
  13. It is known

SirP added a bit more of the historical details (which I know well enough... the leader of the reformation, Protopope Avvacum, even visited me in a dream in my rebellious youth and instructed me, then a passionate and reckless dissident, in the art of curbing my enthusiasm for truth toward avoiding pointless martyrdom.) But if we don't focus on the details and take a google earth-like view of the whole, I believe the whole of our history, past, present, and in all likelihood future, is a lot like that -- the model of social strife is to fight each other to the bitter end over a finger's worth of differences while the organizers of the strife quietly steal a planet's worth of what really matters to all sides. Jonathan Swift had a similar model in mind when he described the Big-Endians' rebellion against the Little-Endians over which end of the boiled egg is the correct one to break.
  14. Vietman.....anti-China riots...

Within these few days, I have read what is needed to know about the entire Vietnamese hatred towards the Chinese. Well, to put things into the perspective, ethnic Chinese in Vietnam is like Jews. Too successful. Too much money. Too powerful. Refuse to integrate. And ethnic Chinese tends to look too different than the natives. And then there is the genocide of various ethnic Vietnamese in Cambodia too. The boat people during the 70s and 80s were mainly ethnic Chinese being driven out by the Vietnamese govt. In the light of the recent event, it is very interesting because I believe maybe the CIA is involved. Here is something I blogged on my FB page...heheh.. "The CIA must be really busy now. After Ukraine and now Vietnam. I have to see how the anti-Chinese riots play out in Vietnam when these terrorist mobs destroyed 30% to 40% of the country's economic output by destroying foreign owned businesses....which are mostly owned by Taiwanese nationals and maybe 10% owned by Chinese nationals from China. And 50 factories owned by South Koreans. These terrorist mobs are aftering ethnic Han Chinese regardless of their nationalities even though it was China's political move to move the oil rig to 150 miles off the coast of Vietnam. Somehow, these terrorist mobs decided to go after the defenseless ethnic Chinese to force political changes in China. Terrorism!!!! The situation has the potential to split the Chinese Han ethnic line into various nationality divides (it may re-ignite the division between the mainland China and Taiwan). Maybe the CIA is getting sloppy and didn't do their homework but generally stroking anti-Chinese sentiments around the world would tend to create unity amongst the ethnic Han Chinese. Gee... this is almost the Chinese version of the Ukrainian crisis. Unfortunately, there is no Nato or the EU to bail out Vietnam when all the Taiwanese investments disappear and literally collapsing the Vietnamese economy." I have been reading up on Taiwanese news and currently there is this underlining debate that the One China policy maybe contributed the destruction of the many Taiwanese businesses. Some Taiwanese law makers are blaming the protestors for not able to tell the difference between Taiwanese and Chinese from China. Like really? They are both ethnic Chinese. I think I am up to the speed with the whole anti-China riot in Vietnam because I have a dream last night. After what I blogged on my FB page, I had this dream. In fact, every time I blogged on some politically sensitive issues dealing with America and the world, like the Ukrainian crisis, I believe I am getting psychic attacks from somewhere. Usually, in my dream, I was being chased after. Last night in my dream, I was driving my car and trying to find a place to park. I found a public parking garage. My car alarm can open the garage door. I went inside. I didn't close the door and the garage was filled with young people. It was like I was in an university. It got too crowded and I decided to close the garage door. Here, I and my friends were skateboarding inside. Then, we were under attacked like somebody wanted to flush us out of the garage. I knew who was attacking me. He was shooting some sorts of flares and I called him the "Flash 5" or "5 Flash." Or was it 5 flush??? Poker? Obviously, the public garage represents my blog. It is a public garage because the blog is on my FB page.
  15. The Story Of The Three Travelers

Three travelers on a long and exhausting journey had become companions, and shared the same pleasures and sorrows, pooling all their resources. After many days they realized that all they had between them was a piece of bread and a mouthful of water in a flask. They fell to quarrelling as to who should have all the food. Making no progress on this score, they tried to divide the bread and water. Still they could not arrive at a conclusion. As dusk was falling, one finally suggested that they should sleep. When they awoke, the person who had had the most remarkable dream would decide what should be done. The next morning the three rose as the sun came up and the first traveler said, "This is my dream: I was carried away to places such as cannot be described, so wonderful and serene were they. I met a wise man who said to me, 'You deserve the food, for your past and future life are worthy and suitable subjects for admiration.'" "How strange," said the second traveler. "For in my dream, I actually saw all my past and my future. In my future I saw a man of great knowledge, who said, 'You deserve the bread more than your friends, for you are more learned and patient. You must be well-nurtured, for you are destined to lead men,'" The third traveler said, "In my dream I saw nothing, heard nothing, said nothing. I felt a compelling presence which forced me to get up, find the bread and water, and consume them then and there. And this is what I did." The two companions were very angry and demanded to know why they were not called when the mysterious power compelled him to consume the bread. "But you were far from here! One of you was carried away to far places and the other to another time! How could you hear my calling?" he replied.
  16. Why the distinction? When these beings appear to you, they are as alive as anybody you would encounter in your real life. They are dead because they were once appearing in the physical world but now only in your dream world. I have never dream about spirits or guides until around 17 or 18, when I had my kundalini energy rising experiences, coming out from a dream state in which I was a Han dynasty warrior or Chi master. That was how I learned about how to complete the microcosmic orbit. Subsequently, I have spontaneous Kundalini energy rising experiences for 3 weeks straight. The intense kind..the kind that burn your body up and could potentially making you crazy because of the amount of energy concentrated in the mind or head. Hehehehe Before, I had dreams about my childhood and how horrible they were. That was it. If your friend is scare about death, I would not even bother to tell him about the Tibetan Book of the Dead and the death bardo experience. It would just freak him out more...because to successfully become liberated at death, one has to cultivate NOW, while still alive. Heheheheheheee....
  17. depersonalization

I can relate to this actually because I felt the same thing happening to me. You realise that nothing is 'solid', nothing lasts, nothing has any innate meaning other than the meaning we ascribe to it. The world isn't what we imagined it to be for all those years and "I" am not what I imagined myself to be. I think maybe depersonalisation is the realisation that there is no person as such...it's a construct, a dream character like whoever we happen to dream ourselves to be at night. Also the moment we chase after something in the world and attain it is the moment we lose it because of the ever-changing nature of the dream. I got very depressed and demotivated over this. I had similar symptoms to you, Sunchild. Friendships slipped away and my emotions evened out so much I didn't experience great elation about anything anymore but neither did the little things (or even at times fairly 'big' things) bother me. I like the teachings of vedanta though because they help us see that the emptiness is not the final stage, that the emptiness is actually a fullness. James Swartz says that after all this realisation stuff, it's important to give the mind something to do -- the mind is goal-oriented so it helps to still do things we enjoy...not because we seek to gain something from it, but just to give the little dream self some projects to keep it happy and ticking over Whatever floats our boat, as they say. I write. And I got a puppy. Animals rock.
  18. To Feel, To See, To Hear.

How to see that which you enjoy to see You can't see what you want to see because it is here; not there, but here. You're already there. Don't you see it? Or do you see it. Whatever you do not see is what you do see. They are both dependant on eachother. The not seeing of it is the seeing of it. As soon as you do not see it, so you shall see it. Because you know what you do not see, and the knowing of what you do not see is the knowing of what you do not see. Where are you now? What do you see not? Do you not see your dreams? Are you not dreaming right now? Is this not a dream? If this is not a dream, what is then indeed a dream? Am I a dream? Are you a dream? Why do you see it not? Is it because you don't want to see it? Or is it perhaps exactly because you do want see it. Do you want to want to see it, or do you want to see it? Are you enjoying your view already? The more you enjoy the view that you see, the more you shall see that view which you enjoy to see. It is a paradox which is very fun for yourself to be revealed. We live with passion, for ever and ever, and this one moment is the passion. That is all that there is. You don't have anything else. What you see now is what you see now. You want to see that which you enjoy. Do you see it as if you enjoy it? Or do you see it as if you want to enjoy it? Because what you see now is what you say it is. It shall remain here for ever. You shall never see anything else. If you do see something else, then that is the same of what you see now, its just that you enjoy it and describe this enjoyment in a diffrent way. If you enjoy what you see right now, then you shall see more of that which you enjoy to see. Do you want to see that you want to seew what you enjoy. Or do you do want to see that you see what you enjoy to see. You see what you enjoy. It is what you see right now. It is that which you enjoy. Thats all there is to it. There is nothing else to add to this communication on the subject of enjoyement and seeing. Untill the next time. Rahtuali
  19. Lucid dreaming

I have been practicing various forms of dream yoga over the years. Some things helped more than others. Heres basic taoist dream yoga principles: Pray to the gods (some talk of a goddess) of the dream world before you go to sleep and after you wake up and remember your dreams. Place a container of water next to your bed on level with your head. (i use a crystal goblet of alpine spring water and drink it when i wake up.) Water is the element connected with dreams. Practice whole body relaxation as you fall asleep. I find that i enter a trance state and it deepens into a dream then later to deep sleep (which can also become a lucid experience) There are a few dream herbs that can help you learn to achieve lucidity. The one i recommend is xhosa dream herb. The shamans traditionally brewed it in some tea. edt:fixed the link
  20. Northern daoism vs Southern daoism

Hello tombajo, this thread is really confusing. I think people should have asked HOW you will modernise what you learned.i mean i can understand the criticism because there a lot of bullshit self made systems.but in some way wang xianzhai also modernised xing yi...... That wouldnt have put you into this "defender role". People are often way to fast when communicating over the internet. If i did knew that i have awesome stuff and everybody directly critices or even laughs about i dont how i would have reacted but i am more a let them talk person then a fighter. I can relate to what you say about dark energy but i find it difficult to use science language for those experiences.i got catapulted out of the center of head and got shot through " hyperspace " into a "blackhole" , i also perceived this world as a dream but it frightened me off.since this "blackhole" experience the energy in my system got so strong that i blackouted a few times during qigong. ( practiced zhang zhuang for around 7 years intensly, then got into spontaneous qigong on my own ) since then i could do some energy healings on others also long distance that were quite amazing. As for your videos. Its not so easy for me to put in words.in my experience fajins that come out of nothing like the ones you do walking ,are only possible if you are in a very special state, there has to be alchemy going on. Its not like start a movement by initiating it from lower dantian what a lot taiji systems do. I also noticed that your breathing was in harmony with the strike what speaks for a good "mind body connection". When i do spontaneous qigong i sometimes get into a drunken immortal state. Energy changes completely ,also my perception.when fajinscome out in this state they are again very different. Would you make your videos public again if i post a little clip? And maybe think about opening up a personal praxtice thread here. For me it was nearly the same when i showed stuff here.some masters said it hasnt to do anything with qigong/taiji , some were neutral giving advices and a chinese lady congrated me for having found the true secret lost meditation from old daoists πŸ˜‚ I would like to hear more from you.
  21. I 'made' a kōan

I would say: What could be healed is essentially broken - unfixable, a dream character Now its good to heal and evolve the dream character a little, but no need to fixate on that Just leave the dream character in his/her own place like an old man observing children's play
  22. Northern daoism vs Southern daoism

If you wish your wisdom to be valued, perhaps start valuing the wisdom of others. If you make your interactions here more reciprocal, you may find yourself having a very different (and perhaps more enjoyable) experience. My primary practice at this time is dream yoga, and what you describe in your question reflects the dawning of lucidity. This is a means by which the individual recognizes the personally created aspect of their experience - which correlates to what I have seen you post elsewhere. (Which is only pertinent to a Daoist discussion in so far as you have highlighted Buddhist influence.)
  23. Northern daoism vs Southern daoism

Honestly I am telling you this, because you asked. You don't have to produce it....you are made from it....you have to learn how to cultivate it. The key to immortality is fusing darkenergy with your darkmatter body.... Darkenergy is the same as darkmatter. The difference comes because darkmatter is attached to actual matter. That is the only difference. To make this a little more understandable. Have you ever came out of your body and seen yourself sleeping? Or even have a dream where everything seemed normal like you where awake; until you notice people were ignoring you or you magically float through a door? You are not seeing matter at all. It is total darkmatter. You have moved your consciousness from this side of our reality (aka regular matter) to the otherside (aka darkmatter ) it only looks like regular matter and even feels like it too. Since darkmatter interacts with other darkmatter just as regular matter does..... In reality superstring teory and supersymmetry explain this the best. The energtic double that supersymmetry predicts is darkmatter and is attached to regular matter and occupies the same space but other dimension. The true goal is to reach into deeper dimensions and pull this darkenergy, that has different qualities, depending on the dimension that it is in back to this dimension. All the higher emotions are darkenergy from higher dimensions and hence why they seem so elusive. Ok I think that answers your question. However please send me a private message if you want me to expand. Not to keen on being judged by ignorant people. It's quite hilarious to me, but you can only laugh at someone else's pain so much before it gets quite sad...... I am super close to just deleting my profile and moving on.......I find it hard not to answer a heart felt question and is the only reason I responded. If my wisdom is not valued here, there is no since in me being here.......
  24. The Highest Psychic Power

a couple of years ago when all this stuff was new to me, I was a bit obsessed with John Chang's video and as much as I didn't want to admit it, I really wanted powers like he had. Here's why... 1. because then I could show off to my friends and they would be like, "HOLY SHIT!" and then worship me. 2. I could show women and cause them to be in awe over my mystical power which in turn would cause them to want to have sex with me. 3. I'd feel better about myself because CLEARLY I would be better than all those good-looking, rich assholes who think they're better than me. And then I had this crazy dream where I actually HAD the powers. In the dream I saved the president of the United States by creating a wall of QI around my back and then I leapt in front of the president's podium just as an assassin's bullet was about to strike him. Yes, my friends, I saved the president's life by using my qigong powers. And also in the dream was this girl I was digging at the time. She was in my Reiki class but I didn't get a chance to ask her out cuz she didn't take Reiki 3(or i'm a wimp. take ur pick). Anyways in the dream she saw what I did and was like, "wow, you're hot." and I was like, "yeah, that's right, hunny." and she was all into me. Then suddenly the dream went fast-forward and in the future I came to realize that she didn't really like me for me, she just liked me for my powers! And even the people I'd helped, like the president and even some of my friends were there too, and they were all jealous and secretly hated me because I was flaunting my powers and acting like a dick, and of course because I was so intoxicated with power I didn't even realize how much of a dick I was acting like. And then I woke up feeling really crappy about myself. After that I stopped desiring powers - period. After the dream they seemed like cheap parlor tricks to me, but I now realize that they are what they are but it is my intentions behind the use of those powers that cause them to appear that way. My final words of wisdom is this: even though i have no powers, I feel like I have had them and having felt like I'd had them I can reassure you that they're overrated and the glory we think we'll experience will backfire by the very projection of desiring a glorious display of power. Why? Because people don't wanna feel like you're better than them! Booyah!
  25. Samsara

It may seem circular... but you've said nothing to oppose it. Yes, that reality can exist objectively for the jiva. He can claim that he or the table exists, separately or otherwise... But, as you confirm, his initial impression of himself or the table isn't necessarily the true nature or reality of the things seen. Is it not an assumption that the seeing, the reflections seen in the mind space, and the mind space itself are all of a different nature? Consider dreaming. Is not the dreaming of the dream only possible because the dreamer and the dream share the same reality? That's all that's being said. Seeing, (whether seeing yourself or seeing the table), must necessarily be of the same nature as the seer and the seen (regardless of whether or not your perception of the "wood" color isn't the actual "wood" color). Would you agree?
