For those of you that felt annoyed that small dream published the instructions, btdt so to speak.
  2. Longest period of Meditation!

It's just 14 days but Universal Healing Tao has programs- https://www.universal-tao.com/dark_room/enlightenment.html "Overview of the Dark Room Retreats Using a Partner System the first few days will be used to make up for any sleep deficiency and to relax the body from its daily concerns. Sleeping 12-14 hours a day, will promote healthy amounts of melatonin. We will practice 2 hours of Simple Chi Kung and CNT and Thai massage will be available. Fresh juices and soup will be served for breakfast and an organic meal in the afternoon. All food will be light and easily digestible and all service provided by Tao Garden staff with night vision goggles. We will commence the Kan and Li practices and gradually increase levels of orgasmic and compassionate energy. When you reach a certain point you will begin to hear the cells and DNA making love or coupling. On the 7th, 14th and 21st. evenings, you will be able to leave the Dark Room Retreat through a reflexive tunnel. You will go outside slowly, wearing your own sunglasses. It is important to wear them all of the next day, until you gradually get used to the light again. The Condominium Buildings will be converted into an air conditioned dark room environment with a central meeting and meditation room. All exterior windows & doors will be sealed with sound & light proof paneling. Dark Room Enlightenment Program DAY 1-3 Complete isolation from external light causes the pineal gland to flood the brain with the neurotransmitter melatonin. 3 days of Internal Darkness and Sleep Therapy - During these 3 days one has the chance to catch up on all the lost sleep that has occurred over the last few years. This stage cannot be over emphasized, with regard to its importance in the overall process. Christ spent 3 days in the caves near the Dead Sea, utilizing this metamorphic process, which is conducive to a very gradual death of the ego. DAY 3-5 The pineal gland starts to increase the production of 'pinoline', whereby a greater fluidity of thought and healing of the body starts to occur. This period allows for transition, wherein numerous meditations will be carried out, which will incorporate projection of the energy body and astral travel along with (Iron Shirt) Chi Kung. DAY 6-8 At this stage the pineal gland starts to produce the neurohormone 5-MeO-DMT. This psychoactive tryptamine is highly luminescent; it is also extremely phospherescent due to the amount of phosphene that it transmits onto the visual cortex. The neuro transmitter 'akashon' is normally only active when we are in the womb and in the first months of our lives. It is now reactivated in the darkroom. 5-MeO-DMT switches on 40% more of the cerebral cortex and awakens the nervous system to become aware of itself; 'beingness' results. Hence, the possibility of metaprogramming the nervous system's bio-computer - activating healing and conflict message assortment of the nervous system. 5-MeO-DMT is the empathogenic neurotransmitter that expands the emotional body between 'infinity and zero'. It gives rise to telepathy in the emotional and intuitive bodies. It engages the awakening of the 'Flower Of Life', the spine, which begins to glow in a state of beingness and peace. Many exercises will be practiced during this period; compacting Chi, consciousness and awareness into the nervous system, working with the Silent Self and anchoring the Immortal Body. 5-Meo-DMT discharges the darkness from the darkroom. A bright light will be activated. This Great White Light, the manifestation of the astral body, enables the self to project externally. At this point, some degree on 'N-Methyl-D-Aspartare Inhibition' (NMDA-I) usually occurs. This is a 'soft form' of the slowing of the glutamate input signals into the cells. This makes it easier for the nervous system to cause electrons to stop flowing within the cells, allowing for profound meditative trance states. The 5-MeO-DMT prepares the nervous system, through its empathic state of being and self awareness of the nervous system, for the DMT or dimethyltryptamine production of the pineal gland, in psychoactive milligram dosages. DAY 9-12 There is now enough 'Mono Amine Oxidase Inhibition' triggered by the pinoline, to allow the pineal gland's 'serotonin to melatonin cycle' to be intercepted by adrenaline and ephedrine activity and converted into a 'serotonin DMT pathway'. When DMT levels reach more than 25mg, one's experience can become very visual. DMT is the visual third eye neurotransmitter. It enables the energy body and spirit to journey into hyperspace, beyond third dimensional realms of time and space. It is intensely energizing. At this stage of the Dark Room Retreat, the required amount of sleep tends to diminish dramatically. Although the day may last 24 hours, 3 hours of sleep can seem like 12. During this period we will engage in further practices; psychic games and interactivity, Taoist Dream Yoga (advanced levels) and Imagination Expansion. CONDITIONS Each person will sign a form of consent, whereby they acknowledge responsibility for the 'self', in entering into 7 or 14 days (to be specified in application) of light isolation. They will confirm that they are free from mental illness or any other delicate health condition, that they are over 18 years of age and that they agree to stay for the full duration of the specified period, without interrupting the process for others." I believe they have a few reviews from people who've done it. Somewhat psychedelic as dreams and wakefulness merge and I believe some can't make it through the whole two weeks. I'm sure its pretty intense and hard at times.
  3. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

I wonder Small Dream. If in the future an Indonesian went past John's level and re-opened the school to westerners if he could look into your heart and soul and see who you are, what you have done, would he judge you worthy of his time and effort? Or would he realize hey this guy is going to create a whole bunch of drama for me and our school online? I wonder Jiang's successor could do the same, how would that end for you?
  4. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

Yeah, that's what I thought small dream.
  5. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

Believe what you want Small Dream.
  6. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

Covered by Jim's text, made available by Small Dream in his PPD. He talks about concentration and emptying the mind, but not to the degree that later students talk about.
  7. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

You can certainly do that, and it will take much longer, as it is a less efficient way of doing things. I am not saying to wait till retirement, only that meditating an hour at a time and sitting and breathing is accomplishing 2% of what being in actual meditation would accomplish because this is what John himself said. We present Jim's instruction unaltered, which by the way is not the same document Small Dream has provided, not that it matters. We also present this as well as private instruction from Kosta: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/44486-long-men-pai-nei-gong-and-mo-pai/?page=46#comment-778937 These are quotes from Kosta's book the Magus, quoting John directly: “In Level One you fill up your dantien with yang ch’i. You must be in actual meditation to achieve this, and it is time dependent." "Perhaps in one hour of sitting, he is actually in meditation for 1.3 minutes. That means he is meditating only 2.2 percent of the time, which means that if he sits for one hour a day, he needs ten years of training ..." "Meditation is like the borderline between sleep and waking, between consciousness and unconsciousness.” "I will enter total meditation—like the borderline between sleep and waking, okay?"
  8. Willing to teach mo Pai levels 1-2 for free

Hancock just do it and try and quiet your mind while you're doing it. You will be building up energy as you do. It will come to you taking notes is not the way to go because real knowledge comes from experience. So do it and see what you learn as you learn it. Spring Forest Qigong is what I'm talking about moving yin and yang, small universe etc. Plus do the emotion stuff I talked about, do some dream thinking, get a solid practice going, be celibate etc
  9. Willing to teach mo Pai levels 1-2 for free

I do that dream thing you talk bout already, wow. How do i wim hoff breathe?
  10. Willing to teach mo Pai levels 1-2 for free

Try some dream analysis with the goal of instead of trying to interpret dreams from waking awareness rather let your waking awareness sink into the grammar and logic of dreams. Then doing deep horse stance with wim hof breathing.
  11. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

Believe what you like small dream. We present what Jim and Kosta brought back and nothing more, if you think we are lying then think that.
  12. Long men pai nei gong and mo pai

Small Dream, It is also true that John Chang himself said that sitting and breathing was not "actual meditation", and that a student sitting and breathing for an hour a day would take 10 years to fill the LDT. That sitting and breathing is approximately 2% as effective as "actual meditation". I guess it depends if you want to put a lot more time and effort into something than necessary. Can you sit and breathe and fill the LDT in 10 years at 1 hour per day, yes you certainly can.
  13. Reality vs. Unreality

I see NO reason one has to be aware in order to to be. A blind person can make a painting, yet they can not ever see it. Is there still a painting? I say there is a painting because the blind person painted it. That blind person knows what was painted only because they painted it. I have done vast amounts of lucid dreaming. I have had 'false awakenings' while lucid dreaming, several in a row actually. I remained 'lucid' through all the false awaking including still being lucid when waking up into this world. An alarm clock can wake you out of a dream only if it exists in a world in which you are are sleeping. Its true that dream worlds cease when you wake. That is because you cease continuously creating them. It has nothing to do with your awareness of them. This world exists because you and others are continuously co-creating it. Even though at times you stop participating in creating this world, others continue to do so. Basically you are fixated in the value of 'knowing' which for you is based on being 'aware'. I'm not sure why you think only you continue when you are not being aware. Since you don't trust any other sources of knowing, there is nothing I can say or show you to make you understand my experience of reality. My experience suggests that I remain even without any knowing or awareness. Further my experience suggests that other 'things' also are able to remain when I am unaware of them.
  14. Reality vs. Unreality

I can know without awareness if I am creating the thing? To create something, there has to be a you. To be a you, you have to be aware, even if it's a low-level-awareness. I'm not sure I am completely understanding what you are trying to say. Could you please clarify it a bit? The alarm is created by me as soon as I wake up. When I'm sleeping, no alarm exists. If I put a camera recording the body sleeping, the camera and body still are non-existing for me, and when I wake up, I (mind) become aware and they appear. Awareness always precedes creation. I only know that the alarm awoken me up when I wake up, which means, when I wake up, I created the universe and the alarm clock. Have you ever done lucid dreaming? This can happen exactly like that in a dream. Example: I'm sleeping, the alarm wakes me up and I get up and go to the bathroom (This all happening in a dream, exactly like here) Then suddenly you wake up from that dream and you wonder, oh boy.. that alarm clock waking me up when I was sleeping in that dream.. it's was all fake. Do you get what I mean? For me, the world doesn't exist without my awareness of it. How do I know? I can't know the world exists if I'm unaware of it.
  15. Nietzsche Quotes

Here's one of his, from "On Truth and Lie in an Extra-Moral Sense" Deception, flattering, lying, deluding, talking behind the back, putting up a false front, living in borrowed splendor, wearing a mask, hiding behind convention, playing a role for others and for oneself — in short, a continuous fluttering around the solitary flame of vanity — is so much the rule and the law among men that there is almost nothing which is less comprehensible than how an honest and pure drive for truth could have arisen among them. They are deeply immersed in illusions and in dream images; their eyes merely glide over the surface of things and see "forms."
  16. Is my metaphor correct?

I think that's the path to enlightenment, where thinking submerges back into the all encompassing dream-like semiosphere. A place where opposites lose repulsive polarities and become united in coupled attraction, "going beyond Good and Evil." But after that you have to get out of the slow lane and move on over to authentic alchemical training in order to get real energy so that you might become a real man. Real men astral travel then return back to earth to heal with the energy gathered from their travels, distant temporal zones beyond the realm of people's wildest dreams! -- Nietzsche LOL Nietzsche is so funny -- we are fundamentally inclined to maintain that the falsest opinions (to which the synthetic judgments a priori belong) -- That's Kant's philosophy. He made up the synthetic a priori to save Platonism and then said what he'd "found" had been there all along LOL. -- Nietzsche What's funny is "serious" academic philosophers read the above quotes and have no clue what he's talking about. I watched a lecture on Kant the other day and the guy was saying Kant is the greatest philosopher of all time. I actually remember the timestamp which shows where Kant doesn't understand yoga -- 39:30 -- when he says we can not know an independent reality which is what Kant calls the thing-in-itself. So in philosophy people wonder what the thing-in-itself really could be. eternity or what something really is like a cup! Of course they are the same thing in reality. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noumenon Heidegger has a book titled "what is a thing?" but I haven't read it. https://www.amazon.com/What-Thing-Martin-Heidegger/dp/B001QDT0A6
  17. Anyone Else Experiencing Strong Dreams 8/20?

Why did you mark it with kundalini tag? Yes, dreams were weird last night. But aren't they always.... I saw tsunami coming in 2004, I saw Chile earthquake, I saw Syrian and Ukranian wars. I saw refuges walking back in 1990s during Kosovo war... No need to watch TV to get a glimpse of human misery across the globe... I saw birth of the British Princess announcement in a dream. Don't know her name and don't follow UK news, but she apparently is an important figure somehow. meow... what's your question again?....
  18. Anyone Else Experiencing Strong Dreams 8/20?

You need to be more specific...I have dreams and visions every single night. I dream of being in a earthquake just days before the one hit Greece and China's Sichau province.. Like boulders flying down like some sorts of mud slide. I wasn't hurt and so as my parents. Changes happen everyday. Events unfolding everyday. You will get a point in which not one dream is more different from the others....
  19. What are the fruits of your practice?

Hmmm....too long to list. First, you are assuming that you need to practice mind cultivation to realize your fruits. Yes and no. Let's say...because of my path (not saying if I was already on it or taking up any particular path to begin with), I broke through Form. Ended suffering (suffering originated from my own entanglement in my previous life--not past life) and discovered my Dharma Gate. I then refine my path or my mind cultivation or the realization of the Dharma in all things---meditation. I get precognition in the forms of dream visions. This early morning I have one about my parents. I have the ability to see through suffering in individuals. Their own emotional affiliations. Usually...in the future or some time in their immediate future. Experienced a brief moment of dream of clear light..maybe less than 12 times. Plenty of dream of clarity however. Don't get nightmares at all.....
  20. Hello, here finding a way out of depression

Hi Everyone, From Goodreads: Swami Vivekananda “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life; dream of it; think of it; live on that idea. Let the brain, the body, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, and this is the way great spiritual giants are produced.” “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.” “In a conflict between the heart and the brain, follow your heart. ” “In a day, when you don't come across any problems - you can be sure that you are travelling in a wrong path” “The great secret of true success, of true happiness, is this: the man or woman who asks for no return, the perfectly unselfish person, is the most successful.” “All power is within you; you can do anything and everything. Believe in that, do not believe that you are weak; do not believe that you are half-crazy lunatics, as most of us do nowadays. You can do anything and everything, without even the guidance of anyone. Stand up and express the divinity within you.” - LimA
  21. WTF are we?

Yup and it was a game changer. I had become lucid in a dreamonce , where I was grappling with a green skinned demon who had entered my home with a sword, to kill my wife and I. The demon had the appearance of a young man who we were putting up in our home at the time. The dream was set in the room I was sleeping in. As I ended the fight, with the blade in the heart of this demon, the dream froze the moment the sword reached its heart and I woke up, opening my eyes in the 'real world'. With my waking eyes, I was looking at my frozen dream self and the demon standing in the room with me. I then realized I was in sleep paralysis and there was this incredibly menacing presence of a shadowy female... something that was so close to my left cheek, I could feel her. She emanated hate, malice and ugly desire. I could make no sound other than tiny whimpers, in spite of my intent to scream and wake the entire building. When I finally managed to flex my right pinky finger, the paralysis broke, the dream ended and the vision faded, the presence dissolved and I got up rather shakily.

Curiosity killed the cat, Satisfaction brought her back. Good night, LimA; dream true. (-:
  23. Reality vs. Unreality

This is a very complex theme. First of all it always depends on the perspective you are talking from. I wish someone would comment on it with such a precise, simple and clear way that gave no margin for assumptions or interpretations. From my own understanding and experience, when you wake up in the morning, the world appears. When you go to sleep at night, the world dissappears. Therefore, the world has no reality on its own apart from you. If it is not self shining and self existing, depending always upon your awareness for it to exist, then it is 100% like a dream. We say dreams are unreal and illusory. So the world must also be considered unreal and illusory based on this assumption.
  24. WTF are we?

Did you ever wake up from a dream only to realize you are still in the dream
  25. WTF are we?

A dreamer, or maybe just a dream.
