Ah I love a Fanatic! oops, I meant a flag toting patriot Wow. Do you even read what you write? No really? Do you? Read it again. Now once more... Is it starting to look kind of silly and idealistic yet? first, sure maybe its not a Government although that Government is put there [some of] its people. And that is what the rest of the world [us] see. Sure its not the military either, But without the U.S. Military killing all over the world we would probably be in a much better situation globally. But not a piece of dirt with borders? Really? Tell that to the millions of Mexicans who get arrested trying to cross over. Tell that to all the gun toting Idiots ready to defend their land to the death! And then you say Its an Ideal available to every Human on the planet! But wait, no its not! Its only available to the Brave and courageous! I am confused! which is it? apparently I, and all the other scared, lonely frightened people are just not worthy of it! Did you Realise that you just outlined a Fascist Regime? A Fascist State may {some would not and would just be honest about their authoritarian nature} tell people that they are Free. But If someone such as my self criticises the way that they function, then they would deny me my Freedom on the grounds of my cancerous fearful nature. So am I free, or am I only free do do as you tell me? This is what I am finding very funny about many of the American patriot or right wing attitudes. They claim to be Supporting freedom like yourself but are full of Fascist undertones. Please read, The Mass psychology of Fascism. Its written by an American who had his books burned in America, the land of the Free. Now. I appreciate that you have a dream of what America, and Freedom could be like. I too Like the Vision of the Founders. But to think that that Vision, noble as it may be, can be enforced on the rest of the world is Fascism. I personally am sick of seeing American troops slaughtering foreigners for a Dream. Do you hear me? A Dream is just that. I practice spirituality to wake up from Dreams. And the American Dream has become a nightmare. weigh up the two: 1. A dream of freedom for all, worth Fighting for. 2. The actual waking reality of Slaughter, Murder and Theft on an epic scale. Take of your American Flag coloured sunglasses and see the world as it really is. Seth.
  2. Researching Deep Sleep, if anyone has any thoughts

I am experiencing what I refer to as 'the grey zone' in morning sleep. I come fully awake as usual, but remain still. awareness and body bouyant in a zone of extreme relaxation and still calm presence... Full lucid mind awareness but body soon returns to sleep. Mind enters and exits dreaming without losing consciousness. Fluid intermingling of dream and waking local awareness. Float in this zone for extended periods notion of self, localized unique personhood diffuses out into bouyant calm presence and witnessing
  3. Perhaps this post @steve made a year ago, may point in the general direction (although I have some reservations regarding what was highlighted as "experiences during N3 sleep" in the OP as they would relate to "dream yoga.")
  4. What are you listening to?

Who is DJ JaBig? JaBig is a Canadian DJ who currently is on an historic first DJ world tour by bicycle, a 5-year, 100 000 km epic journey to realise a lifelong dream and to raise money for World Bicycle Relief, a charity that has distributed close to 500 000 bikes in Africa. The Montréal-based artist gained global recognition from his 500+ DEEP & DOPE DJ mixes which have been streamed for over 7 billion hours on YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music and Mixcloud and for being the first and only person in history to cycle across Canada coast-to-coast-to-coast in Winter on a fixed-gear bicycle to break the Guinness World Records of “The Longest Journey by Bicycle in a Single Country”.
  5. Levitation and possibly flight?

I have had several out-of-body experiences, all memorable, all unpredictable (mostly) and I still only understand a small fraction of them. I find that lucid dreaming or half-wake condidions are the most productive. Though, I was getting a lot of it (lucid dream flying) after a certain type of Kriya (I will not name it because, it can be destabilizing if a proper foundation has not been laid). The layers of, underlying realities intertwined with, subconscious garbage and all that.
  6. Levitation and possibly flight?

levitated twice in my young life or rather, localized mind harbors vivid memories of such... once out of body while exiting the dream state and once wide awake, off the back of our couch These days, I'm more interested in emulating the high skill of the likes of Liminal_Luke than floatsies. Integrity, Sincerity and Poise. Those are siddhis I crave.

Not by work, nor by progeny, nor by wealth, but by devotion to him and by indifference to the world, does a man reach immortality. Retire into solitude. Seat yourself on a clean spot and in erect posture, with the head and neck in a straight line. Be indifferent to the world. Control all the sense organs. Bow down in devotion to your Guru. Then enter the lotus of the heart and there meditate on the presence of Brahman—the pure, the infinite, the blissful. Unmanifest to the senses, beyond all thought, infinite in form, is God. The seers meditate on him and reach the source of all beings, the witness of all. He who knows him conquers death. There is no other way to liberation. The mind may be compared to a fire-stick, the syllable OM to another. Rub the two sticks together by repeating the sacred word and meditating on Brahman, and the flame of knowledge will be kindled in your heart and all impurities will be burnt away. He, as the Self, resides in all forms, but is veiled by ignorance. When he is in the state of dream that men call waking, he becomes the individual self… he is happy or miserable because of the creations of his mind. In the three states of consciousness, whatever appears as the enjoyer or the object of enjoyment, I am the witness thereof, separate from all. I am pure consciousness. I am the eternal Shiva. I am the knower…. I was not born; I have neither body, nor senses, nor mind, I, the Supreme Self, dwell in the lotus of the heart. I am pure. I am One without a second. Om Tat Sat Kaivalya Upanishad
  8. Levitation and possibly flight?

flying in lucid dreams is a skill I wish I had. ones thats attainable too. one day night. learning to pilot an ultralight is another dream. probably easier, just $$ and time
  9. Realize vs Experience of SELF

I haven't read Castaneda works. ---- Lucid dream ends with dark. There is also different dream what is dark and fearful and end with light. there are punch of people clinging to lucid dreams, psyhonauts etc..edit: can be misleading.

It seems you've awoken from one dream, yet remain deep in slumber within the next. Experience is the proverbial snake in a rope. Watch out all you little egos, the big boy is here. And there are those that never touched pages or heard teachings, yet spontaneously abide "freely" without so much as a guru's glance. It is one thing to have self-knowledge, and it is quite another to presume one has known others without self-knowledge. The latter characterizes the epitome of ignorance. The Adept is self-shining and ever present. He knows nothing of profit or loss, remembering or forgetting, birth or death. And He certainly finds no difference between himself and the 10,000.
  11. How To Guard Ones Dreams

Dreaming is a part of our nature. Everything in Nature can be a good thing when you know about how GOOD it is. So we learn about Dreams in Taoism study too. The mind can be very focus and you can still have dreams. There are also a method in taoism call "dream making" which you can send and make a dream to someone with using FU and mantra. You can also make a couple meet in the dream by using FU. This is call dream-dating. It is there for a reason. Sometimes, masters also will teach their students by sending tips for the students in dreams. Sometimes the master know what is wrong with the student, for example he know the student have stolen something, but the master do not want to ruin the relationship and still want to give the student a chance. So the master will try to send the student a dream to let him know that he have done something guilty. This way can lead the student to learning and also not ruin the relationship betwen the two. Dreams are also decodable with the scripture of dream. This is written by the creator of I-Ching, King of Jau.
  12. Interesting dream I had

Reminds me in a weird way of a semi-lucid dream I had once. I remember going into the dream lucidly, and knowing that I was dreaming. I was so excited that I couldn't really decide what to do. One of the first things I tried though was saying "Aum" in the dream, cuz I heard that had interesting effects. It created a very strong kind of reverberation and became unpleasant very quickly. I went on to try other things but the dream ended shortly after that.

  14. Fragments of earlier memories of Taiwan

Great story. I have a very cool Laughing Buddha netsuke but the origins are mundane (ebay ). However, the mystery lives on. A whole bunch of years ago I had a dream-vision (different from just a dream) where a monk quite similar to the one you encountered sold me a little figurine of a sleeping cat for a nominal fee. I kept thinking about it and pondering for a while, everything from the dream was as vivid in my memory as a real-life event I lived through. Then I came across an article about an ancient temple of the Sleeping Cat in Japan, Nemuri Neko, and there were pictures, and there on the facade of the temple was my figurine from the dream, a full-size version. (The cat's face looks a bit like that of the black and white cat in your pictures, doesn't it?)
  15. Daoist associations?

Re: watermelon fucking, on a general note, I think it must be concluded that internet access is one of the worst things a monastery can have. Not that crazy things didn’t happen before- humans are humans. I remember an episode in the novel Seven Taoist Masters where the disciples are made to sleep next to wooden boards. They dream about beautiful women and in the morning the boards are covered in... uh, jing. Further afield I was a bit shocked when I first read this quote in the Sayings of the Desert Fathers: and this from an age where Christian monasticism was supposed to be at its most pristine. So stuff happens, but man does the internet not help. In my years in the Orthodox Church I saw more than a few cases of monastics from respectable places who got internet connections and *poof* goes that old aura of sanctity and wisdom. Maybe some guy on Mount Athos launching into a tirade about how the EU is trying to turn everyone into slaves of the one world government with biometric passports; or a monk in Romania singing fascist songs with a chorus of nuns on his birthday; or a Russian elder going on some anti-Semitic conspiracy rant. And of course all kinds of sexual abuse and predatory behavior. Keep the monks away from the internet, folks.
  16. Lama stabs and shoots his students

Limited bodhicitta practiced in the waking state will be transformed into limitless bodhicitta in the dream state, which is of great benefit to dedicated spiritual aspirants. So, we practice doing a little good habitually, within the limits of our physical form, accumulating this merit day by day - there will come a time when the altruistic force of the accumulations will pervade our dreams in very apparent ways. Eventually, as the gap between dream and wakeful moments begin to narrow, we can notice that altruistic wishes, whenever activated during waking moments, for example during formal practice sessions, will instantly arouse bliss, clarity and non-thought. A sort of loop will be effected so that dream states can also be imbibed with these three qualities. Gradually, the seemingly dualistic states will fade into the background and one becomes more and more awake.

Hi Serene, I stand by everything that I've said and I believe you are getting the right interpretation about mantra repetition ala TM or DM. That is excellent that you are reading "The Attention Revolution". If you look at the bottom of page 77, you will see this part: So you see, Serene, there is a need to be able to assess your state of attention and apply a remedy in order to keep a balance between excitation and laxity. I too had the same problem as you. I was passing into the sleep cycle, the dream world would open up before the third eye and then I would fight with myself to not being drawn into the dreams. I did discover that I could hold the 'entering of the dream" at bay by not breathing out into the dream, but that only works until you hear a sound in the dream and then you are sucked right in. It had never occured to me that I should have been cultivating vividness at the same time as relaxing the body. The solution is that these functions are already built into the breath, as I have learned by studying Alan Wallace's writings and podcasts. Basically, by focusing on the out-breath and even the pause at the end of the out-breath, it calms the body and removes thoughts. If you focus on the in-breath, vividness is enhanced. By putting attentional emphasis on one or the other, you combat either excitation or laxity. When I first started doing breath meditation practices as Alan Wallace has written about, there was a thick layer of mind that I had to get through. I was intrigued by the idea that there should be vividness as I always thought you had to shut off consciousness. However, after getting to the point where the breath becomes a mind object, I discovered that it is true, that you can make your perception of thoughts and visions way more vivid by adding interest during the in-breath and at the top of the in-breath. Keep in mind that there is no controlling of the breath while you do this, you do not control the breath in any way, you simply watch where it is in the cycle and then put more emphasis on which part you want to enhance. Lately I've increased the vividness to the point where thoughts are just as bright and luminous as if I were looking at object through my regular eyes. I still have to get used to that and I'm still digesting the concept.. So, my practice is this. I assess my current state, place my awareness in the body and take a census of my level of excitement (how many roudy thoughts I am having). If there are many, then I focus my attention on the out-breaths and the bottoms of the out-breaths while letting go and calming the body. As my mind calms, that is, each out-breath expels thoughts and the light of my conciousness becomes brighter (you see more white light and fewer thoughts, everything brightens up). At that point I focus on the breath until it becomes a mental object. It appears as a moving attentional point which is somewhat luminous. I just keep focusing on that until the stimulus from the five senses dissolves away and then the nimitta appears at the third eye. Last night I discovered that I do have the ability to rest my awareness at the top of the breath's mind object. I didn't know that was possible, but it is. It is like plopping your attention down like a sack of flour and the attention just stays there.. We will see where this will lead to.. Also, placement of the eyes plays a role in excitement and laxity. In some of the teachings it is recommended to fix the eyes pointing downwards, away from the brow. Not only does this then permit you totally relax your forehead and face but it keeps your attention away from the third eye. It is very important to relax the forehead and face and eyes. When I first learned about that I didn't want to do it because all the visions and action happen at the third eye. But later, after trying it out for a while, I saw the advantages and actually discovered that once your senses are shut off, it doesn't make any difference anyway, the visions and lights still appear at the third eye. But, to begin with, it is a great aid to focus the eyes downwards and totally relax the forehead and face. Another suggestion is to keep the eyes partially open. This also helps to quell thoughts. You know, Alan Wallace has so many good suggestions. Like, for example, if the mind is very coarse and excited, you focus on the lower tan tien ( below the navel) to monitor your breath. Then, the motions are very easy to detect and easy to focus on. If your mind is not so coarse, you can focus on the finer sensations at the nostrils. As your state of mind refines and becomes more subtle, you change your object of attention to match the level of subtlety of the mind.. and perhaps do practices such as watching thoughts with equanimity until they diminish and the conscious mind dissolves into the substrate consciousness. Awareness watching Awareness, Dzogchen, and watching thoughts are very effective practices. What is the purpose of the mantra? In practices like TM and DM, the mantra is just a hypnogogic tool that elicits the laxity response and allows one to cat nap, dip into deep sleep or beyond. It is like bobbing in the ocean. It is refreshing from a sleep perspective and may have physical health benefits, although I have read that cat-napping during the day may not be such a good thing to do. The mantra in this case, is a meaningless sound, or may have meaning but the meaning is not used or focused on. In practices such as regular or conventional mantra repetition, the meaning of the mantra plays a key role, whether it be to call a deity, pray a prayer, or affect your own subconscious in order to precipitate a desired energy event. The meaning here is key as the meaning helps you involve your intent and will. In any mantra repetition, you will notice that the lower tan tien starts the process. Any mantra first comes from the lower tan tien. If you don't believe me, just sit in a meditative posture and then go to start the mantra and then stop. Even before the sound starts, you will notice that the lower tan tien clasps up, however slightly. Then, the seed of the mantra rises up to the medulla and the parts of the brain stem that control breathing and speech. The two are intimately tied together. By repeating a mantra physically, mentally or sublimally, you are causing the whole mechanism to kick in (LTT, medulla, throat chakra). The motion that this process causes is referred to as a wind in Buddism, a movement of energy. Yes, movements of energy can calm the mind, and are a wonderful method of communication and manifestation of thoughts. But, if stillness is sought, you can't keep stirring the winds! The breath is a good thing to focus on because you can do so without stirring any wind. If you choose a mantra to still the mind, you have to keep producing the mantra. There is also another part of mantra repetition which most people have yet to realize. By repeating a mantra, silent or otherwise, it sends energy to the medulla, breath and speech parts of the brain. Eventually, if you stimulate this area too much, the body/brain has a natural mechanism that will try to shut off the stimulus, because it is not natural. That is why, occaisionally during mantra repetition the practitioner will experience states of no-breath. It is the brain trying to shut off the repetitive agrevating stimulus. This accounts for the "bobbing" effect of mantra repetition like TM and DM and the fact that the episodes of breath stoppage are only momentary and recur frequently. According to James H. Austin, MD, : The difference between TM/DM and other forms of conventional dharana/dhyana meditation are the fact of a continuity of awareness throughout the meditation, even during states of no-mind. This awareness has to be cultivated by increasing vividness and sustaining awareness (vicara). After doing so, the more esoteric states of mind (including the breathless ones) can be held onto indefinately. This is something that TM/DM style meditative techniques do not teach nor realize the value. This is the value of mindfulness, anapanasati and the Buddhist approach. Anyway, Serene, I hope this helps. TI
  18. Typical Whacko

Thank you for the welcome everyone! Yuangi, I have a couple comments and questions for you. It is always nice to know there are others who share my experiences. I did find the Sp 21 point. It was easy to find because it hurt so bad...lol. Interestingly, the day you suggested that, I was having extreme pain in that whole region that limited the mobility of my arms. I'm feeling better there now. One thing I do is what I call "intuitive acupressure", but that is not a point I was drawn to before. I didn't know that is what I was doing until I noticed that my hands would go to specific places for self-healing or healing on others for specific ailments. I got a book on acupressure and found that was what I was doing. Part of the problem I have is that my intuitive healing work is so varied, it is hard for me to narrow down my studies. I feel like I have my foot dipped in many pools of water, but I am not submerged in any. It is an interesting journey, though. I am on my way to narrowing the focus. After reading what your girlfriend does, I now know that I also do shaman work because I do those things also, though I have not had a human teacher specifically for it. I wish I did, but I don't even know any. I pray for it, though. I imagine that her healing acupuncture work must be AMAZING with the added healing energies. You have affirmed for me that I need to be studying up on Taoism, Yin and Yang. I had a dream last week where I met someone named, "King Gemini." I did some research on Gemini and from what I found, in Chinese, it refers specifically to Yin and Yang. Why can't my guides just tell me this stuff in a way I can understand??? lol. I know...it's not them...it's me...hahaha. The night after I read your post, I had a dream. Perhaps you may know something about the Chinese Meridian system or something that I do not that may help me with the details? I would greatly appreciate any insight you could offer. (If anyone else can help, that's great, too!) I dreamt that I was lying on a table, it seemed like a sterile hospital environment. There was a young Asian man doing some kind of work on me. He's new. I never met him before. He seemed to be a student because he kept referring over to an older Asian man, whom I recognized as "Jonin". Jonin seemed to be encouraging the younger man in his work on me. I felt like I was there for surgery, but the young man put his hands on my chest and said, "I'm working on your lungs." He seemed to be worried that he would offend me or something, or that he wasn't sure if what he was doing was okay. He didn't seem to lack confidence in what he was doing. It seemed more of a social issue, that he wasn't sure if he was crossing boundaries on me or something. He moved down to my solar plexus and he said, "You have too much blood here." I began to recognize the work he was doing and I nodded and said, "I know the work you are doing," because I recognized he was doing integrated energy therapy. But I didn't understand what he meant by "too much blood." He began pulling "icky stuff" out of my energy field. He was VERY dramatic as if each pull he performed made him woozy and light-headed. Then he said, "You have Three in here, not Two. You should have only Two, not Three." He was still in the solar plexus region. I don't know what that meant. A female "nurse" came in and began to prep my solar plexus region for surgery. She rubbed Iodine on my stomach region. At this point, I didn't know what was going on. I asked and the nurse said, "You need to have it removed." I was okay with it. I wasn't afraid, but I was curious. The young man came to my feet. He took a sharp metal object, like sharp tweezers or something, and began pulling on the inside of my big toe on each foot to remove something. He was very dramatic about that, as well. He did the left foot first. It was soooo painful. I swear it REALLY hurt in the dream! I began to scream at the pain, but then I calmed myself and stopped screaming and did deep breathing instead. With that, I went out of body in the dream. I was now standing outside of myself at the table with the young man. I looked down at my feet. They were quite sore and there were open wounds where he had done the work on the inside of my big toes. I saw the other part of me...lol...lying on the table. My stomach had been cut open and it was filled with a white powdery substance. It was either salt or sugar...maybe both. The young man was down on my left thigh, about half way down. He had made an incision and was pulling up an artery or vein. I had my left hand over my solar plexus where I was cut open and I was doing energy work there while the young man was pulling the vein out of my left leg. As he finished, my middle-finger on my left hand that was over my solar plexus began to vibrate uncontrollably. Almost as if it was separate from me. I showed it to the young man and said, "Look at that!" And we laughed. The dream shifted and I was back in my body and I was no longer on the table. The nurse said, "We were unable to complete the work." I said, "What do you mean?" I could feel that I had been all cut up...the solar plexus, the left leg, both feet. She said, "We couldn't finish it." I said, "So you cut me all open and sewed me back up, but nothing was done?" And the dream ended. I have a bit of an impression on what some parts of the dream meant, and I'm pretty certain it's dealing with some blocked energy channels, and other things, but I'm not sure. Can you offer any wisdom, Yuangi, or others? I would appreciate it very much! Eric, thank you for that information. I actually do almost all of my meditation standing. I have always been led by my guides to stand, and sometimes dance by swaying in meditation. I thought it was because I have focus issues...I can't sit still. It makes it easier for me to focus this way. But maybe it is for other reasons than my inability to sit to meditate. Thank you for that! Oh wow! Lol! That's weird, huh??? I did a little research also, and there is prominent figure in Nicherin Buddhism named Toki Jonin, the warrior thing makes the most sense, I think. Exploring the tree makes sense to me, and especially the metal element. Actually, one of my friends who channels had a guide come through and tell me I needed metal, but I didn't know what that meant. It's beginning to make sense. My physical body has taken a beating over the last year or so. I used to be pretty athletic and not-wussy...lol. Now, I feel "old" and I'm only 34! I will check out Michael Winn, also. Thanks, Chris, for the suggestions and the welcome!
  19. .

Interesting thing there is, was it 'elders', as in senior teachers. Or was it, 'Elders" as in dead masters in the spirit realm visiting Chang (in a dream and laying down the law in such a way he was visibly shaken as per videos report). The difference is vastly important, imo. In the understanding of the art. ie anything that scares a man of Chang's ability is something I'd want to respectfully stay away from.
  20. afterlife!

Last night I dreamed that I was having dinner in a restaurant with an old friend. We asked for the bill but before it came I woke up. Did my friend have to pay my share of the bill ? It is easy to see that the question about my dream is absurd. It is the same with the question "What happens to me after death ?" The question dissolves when it is seen that I am a dreamed character. Then it is seen that there is no `me' who dies; no `after' because time is created only in the dreamed mind; and no `death' because death is simply the awakening from the dream. The mind cannot imagine its own annihilation. Faced with the appearance of death in the dream, the mind creates stories about its own continued existence after death. All of these stories are like answers to the question "Who pays the restaurant bill of the dreamer who wakes up before the bill arrives ?" We are all familiar with so many of these stories. Most offer some variation of reward for a life well-lived, (however that is conceived), and punishment for evil doing. They are both seductive and intimidating, alternately promising us spiritual riches and threatening us with dire consequences. In fact there are billions of these stories because each one is unique to the particular dreamed character who holds it. My version of salvation through the blood of the lamb will be different to yours. Your version of taking rebirth as a god, a human, an animal, a hungry ghost or a demon will be different to that of the Buddhist meditator sitting next to you. Richard Sylvester
  21. Is spiritual qiqong a thing ?

After 40 mins of qigong, when I walk after, everything becomes like a dream. It's amazing stuff, but yes, focus a lot more on grounding exercises.
  22. Is anyone practicing Bajiquan?

Siddhis are very powerful to gain...but focusing on them isn't worth it at all. They will distract you from the main goal and being a good and honest person which is the most important thing in the end. Some develop lightness skill some don't. It's just another siddhi. It's just Qi opening up and making you light. That's all. What is this really good for, to impress others...possibly. But for you? You gain nothing out of it. It's a miracle, a mirage, a dream within this dream of reality...many attributes of what the MIND is capable of. Remember you have a Divine nature, you could act like a god and create an entire universe if you wanted to...but this 'feature' has been locked up because of your current condition as a human (your karma). So let's focus on improving ourselves and being good and gentle to other people, the animals and the environment. I dislike, reject and despise them (The Buddha). + 1 The Buddha and the miracles.
  23. Is celibacy for 10 years realistic?

celibacy is based on your "sea of chi" below the lower tan tien - it is your potential of yin chi energy. When you have "false fire of the heart" then your spirit energy is used as a thought - it is a flash of holographic light focused on male reproduction - it descends down the spine and instantly turns your "sea of chi" energy into... "yin jing" or water that then is lost as ejaculation. So then to fix that problem you have to ionize or burn - you have to go into the Emptiness - stop the thoughts that caused the problem - and then you have to descend your spirit as from the Emptiness - from its true source - which then will convert or purify the yin jing back into "yin chi" energy. When you are doing that you are creating your lower tan tien but it is only through that process do you finally fill your lower tan tien to create real chi as "yang chi" energy. The ability to create "yang chi" depends on how much "yin chi" you still have left in your "sea of chi" below the lower tan tien. So the younger you are - the less you have lost - then the easier it is for you to start creating "yang chi" assuming you follow the above celibacy path. To also "sublimate" the lower "sea of chi" energy so it goes above the heart - then purifies it also since it is then burned by the heart fire to create "yin chi" again - but it must be stored in the lower tan tien still or the "yin chi" goes out of the eyes as "false fire of the heart." so that is the next level of celibacy - to be able to keep building up the "yin chi" to actually create "yang chi" - it relies on both no loss of physical emission but also no loss of "yin chi" out of the eyes through any thoughts or spirit light - eye interaction - with sources causing such thoughts. So obviously the standards are very strict and that's why there are so few real qigong masters in the modern world. For example I've been "celibate" as in no physical sex for over ten years - but as I've describe above that's not nearly the same as actual celibacy for the qigong training. You want to study the book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" to learn why celibacy is the foundation of the real training. I've had no emissions since April but again - that is not the same as not losing "yin chi" energy out of the eyes - which means I'm still not storing it up to create "Yang chi" as the real chi energy. IT is said the traditional training is 100 days - 3 months or 1 gong - for strict celibacy - but that is doing meditation the whole time focused on the Emptiness - meeting the above standards. It's much more than what is called "celibacy" in the modern world. Some tricks to the training - learn full lotus posture as that will better sublimate your energy - sleep on the floor as a soft mattress is not conducive to your subconscious thoughts. You have to control your subconscious thoughts in your dreams - to wake yourself up - since that type of dream with emission is not really a dream - or to reverse that - being awake is another type of dream controlled by our subconscious reproductive reality making us into instinctual machines or sorts. So since the training is based on the Emptiness then even talking about the subject goes against the actual training - and so talking about also requires having to meditation to reverse the subconscious damage - since talking is left-brain dominant which cuts off the connection to the Emptiness. Another trick is to keep your tongue against the roof of your mouth as much as possible - this prevents energy from being lost out of the mouth - the "yin chi" energy - and then helps it to descend back down to the lower tan tien. Those are some steps in the practice of celibacy.
  24. Describe your ideal life..

I always wonder why do we have to do as we are told to have a dream, have a job, do like everyone else and at the end, we all end the same way like everyone else. Are we conditioned to do like everyone else, have a job to pay bills and if you make enough money then work, work to pay high mortgages and pretend to live the great life. I always wonder. Last year, I took care of elders, some suffering dementia others different ailments and then did Uber to realize, why all this to end up in a misery life that nobody wants but we won't have control. Pretending living the moment having a blast whether you have money or no money, you pay the price of not taking care of yourself. Where is the ideal life? Does that exist?
