Hello, I am interested in learning medical qigong and this website has some amazing background. I recently did a two week free trial with Holden Qigong and the practice is improving my energy but I felt really ambivalent about Lee Holden. His background has various incongruous stories about how he was introduced to qigong, and as I understand he was a protege of Mantak Chia, the unintentional inspiration for the founding of this site. I want to learn from a respected and legitimate teacher and practice in a respectful way. Looking forward to finding recommendations 🙏🏻

Who is A Good Qigong Doctor That Was A Student of Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson for Dan Tian Gates Healing?
roycee00 posted a topic in Daodejing
Hi, I'm looking for a Qigong Doctor who was a graduate of Dr. Jerry Alan's Johnson's program because I want to seal the energy leaks that are exist in my dan tian gates (CV8, CV15, GV4, GV8, GV11, and GV14). Who do you recommend that I contact to get treatment? I live in New York, so if the doctor can work remotely, that would be great for me. I would appreciate your help!- 1 reply

Hi - I wanted to say hello and explain why I joined. I am hoping to become proficent in medical qigong. I injured my neck through car accidents many time over the years and turned to qigong practice in the hopes of helping out with the pain. Things are going much better now, so I am looking into medical qigong. I live in the Washington DC area. There are so many different lineages and styles of qigong, it is a bit overwelming to find out what is good, what works, ect. It seems like every teacher has a unique angle which appears to be the best. I am learning shibashi (practicing for about 2 years), have done some basic tai chi and have just started Michael Rinaldini's long distance course. Those are my relevant experiences and where I am at on my journey. I want to learn medical qigong without spending tens of thousand of dollars going to accupuncture school and without having to move. I want to help people and not sell them something that does not work. Any insights, thoughts, shared experiences, responses and/or greetings are welcome.

Hello people! I followed a discussion regarding the existence of Qi and it's debunking to this great looking forum, so that rubbish article wasn't totally useless! I have trained her in the UK, with Master Lam, Grand master Chen Xiao Wang, The International Institute of Medical Qigong (Jerry Alan Johnston's school, as it was) and lately with teachers from Dr Pang Ming's Huaxia medicineless Hospital, learning theory and teaching Zhineng qigong. I live in Bath on the UK, and have a Teaching school, called www.3monkeysqigong.co.uk I'm writing a book about Qigong in Daily life at the moment. Please feel free to hit me with any questions, and I'm off to join a post about healing forms of Qigong, which I have Zhineng as my top choice! Hun Yuan Ling Tong! (as we say in Zhineng.. Universal Qi flows right through me, bringing Instant success!) Jeremy
