Tabula Rasa Posted June 7, 2009 I haven't seen the movie, but I like some of the music. From the day we arrive on the planet And blinking, step into the sun There's more to see than can ever be seen More to do than can ever be done There's far too much to take in here More to find than can ever be found But the sun rolling high Through the sapphire sky Keeps great and small on the endless round It's the Circle of Life And it moves us all Through despair and hope Through faith and love Till we find our place On the path unwinding In the Circle The Circle of Life
Aetherous Posted June 7, 2009 Yes this is one of my favorite cartoons from my childhood. Also Robin Hood, the Disney cartoon.
doc benway Posted June 8, 2009 Anyone else ever feel a special connection with this movie? I know it has helped me feel better when i have been depressed and such I haven't seen the movie but the play on Broadway was the best theater experience of my life. I haven't seen that many plays (maybe a dozen) but Lion King was light years beyond anything else. I'm very partial to Julie Taymor's work in general (Across the Universe, Titus, Frida).
