Tabula Rasa Posted June 7, 2009 From the Center for Attitudinal Healing......  Some signs and Symptoms of Inner Peace  Warning: If you have all, or even most, of these symptoms, please be advised that your condition of PEACE may be so far advanced as not to be curable. If you are exposed to anyone exhibiting several of these symptoms, remain exposed only at your own risk as this condition of PEACE is probably in its' infectious stage.  * A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences. * An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment. * A loss of interest in judging other people. * A loss of interest in judging self. * A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others. * A loss of interest in conflict. * A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.) * Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation. * Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature. * Frequent attacks of smiling. * An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen. * An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it. doc benway Posted June 8, 2009 It's tough to achieve that without falling into apathy. It seems like that would be the case but that's not my experience. The feeling is much different than apathy, it's more like acceptance. In Daoist terms, I would call it wu wei.
findley Posted June 8, 2009 It's dysfunctional. Â Ecstasy (sp? ...you know, the street-drug...) does all of those things for you. Â This is not exactly what I am looking for in my practice.

Drugs drop kick you into states. Can you tell the difference between something drug induced and something brought on by practice? The states are similair. I do suggest working on it.
