What you think of Witchcraft?

Recommended Posts

I think anything works if your Mind power is strong and your body awarness inner and outer energies and how to connect with nature.

That being said yeah I have nothing against them its all alchemey and meditations of some sort.

I've read some books by the author CHristopher Penczak, and I think he's excellent. However apart from his books I haven't seen any that appeal to me. A LOT of them seem to be feminist in a weird unbalanced hate men sort of way. I think its really naff and silly how they pretend that they are following some ancient celtic tradition when they know that their religion was mostly invented by Gerald Gardner, and the rest comes from either places like India or Kaballa or rosicrucianism... etc There seems to be a lot of picking bits and pieces from here and there. I also think its naff how 'Dungeons and Dragons' it is -the way they give themselves silly names, and dress up like Gandalf or something. As for real 'wiccans' that I've actually met they are some of the most annoying fools I've come across. An unbalanced proportion of them are seriously over weight (however, that is the same in qigong/tai chi circles) They are arrogant. LOADS of them are gay! (I dont have a problem with gayness, I just dont get why this particular form of spirituality attracts so many)... ...and it seems 9 times out of ten they wont know what they are talking about. The ones that are more genuine often seem to use 'wicca' as some sort of escapism, and a way to make themselves feel bigger and more important/powerful than they actually are. -Nothing wrong with this, people can genuinly need such a thing. It is just my observation. See for yourself -just look at all the homemade videos on youtube of angry, angsty, overly defensive, pretentious wiccans on youtube. Anyway, I would recommend Christopher Penczak, but have yet to be impressed by anything else to do with wicca.

What you think of Witchcraft? The spells they use, is it simply Chi? Or is it much more then that?

I think real witches (of the European tradition) are rare today, if any still exist.

My familarity is with the "magic" scene in places like Thailand. Those with real power can be found there, even today.

It is a modern myth that witches existed and modern witches have no connection to any authentic pagan traditions.

This is my opinion, however it is not so hard to support with observation.

What do you think of Obea and the Loa of Voudun?

Spell working is pretty much the same formula as 'The Secret' stuff just in a smaller intensified package.

Get a clear intention, put some sustained focus on it, raise energy towards it... 'Presto!'

Working with spirits is different. Voudon Loa and many other traditions that work with spirits, especially the unbroken traditions are very powerful.

I do think pacts are worth learning about but be very carefull.

On the other hand, People say Saints and great Masters are literally surrounded by spirits on all levels that are being benefited and taught by the Master. Also they rush to help the Master without even being asked. No bargains spells or risks necessary.

There are lots of stories in Buddhism about this, and I think that is because Many Buddhist masters spend so much time sending out Metta and blessings to all beings on all levels...

I've noticed in my studies a very high success rate for Loa relative rituals and a very high price for the results in terms of loss of life.

I'd not mess with obeya at all, but it is fascinating stuff for those interested in the occult.
