Thanks for reporting this post. Sorry for the delay.

 

I guess the subject is not off limits if anyone wants to really discuss this. I found it interesting that while I was overcome with immediate agreement that the picture should be removed, the picture itself was not actually pornographic. In fact it was quite innocent, just a snapshot of some girls in sports uniforms or cheerleading outfits or something. What made it disturbing was the context. That we were being asked by the OP to consider the topic of sexuality with minors while viewing an otherwise innocent picture of young girls. I guess this is how many (most?) things in life are? Defined by context.

I don't think of you as a pedophile (unless you admit to being one). It seems clear to me that you were just discussing the topic. But posting a picture of the girls wasn't in good taste, in relation to this discussion.

 

Many members here are parents, and you may as well be talking about one of their kids. And what if one of the parents of those girls somehow stumbled onto our forum and saw their daughter being discussed like this? That's highly offensive...to the point where lawsuits could come into play!

 

I think people reacted strongly because this should be very obvious.

Not that sleeping with your kid or is bad. But when "sleeping with a kid" is discussed along with the word "pedophile", obviously there is a problem.

My opinion is that being around children, even sleeping with them brings good chi and yin/yang balance regardless of modern taboos, however in practice in this imperfect world this is not ok because a lot of people confuse this want for energy with sex as the only means to get it. I thought pedophilia technically meant love of children not sex with children.

 

Dr. Yang Jwing Ming in his book Qigong, The Secret of Youth, translated a chinese document where it was recommended to have young boys to do the abdominal massage in the early stages of practice, and Dr. Yang commented that that was because of their yin/yang balance. (pages 128 and 171)

 

I also though that in Philosophical taoism that nothing is taboo to talk about but that this forum is based in a country where there are laws against posting images of children or perhaps talking about them in a sexual context.

 

I believe that Hugo is not one to be thought of as being pedophile in the sexual sense and that he in no way should be punished for this thread. I agree with Scotty and SiliconValley1, thank you.
