Zorkiel Posted August 31, 2009 Okay, i got a question for you. Will a highly developed kundalini affect kunlun practise. Experience tells me that it in one way or another it usually affects everything, and not always in a 100% positive way and thats why i'm asking. If your wondering, i'm not practising kunlun at the moment but i'm seriously considering taking it up.
Guest winpro07 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) The bridge is literally the heart, so faith is the key. Transmission or the pearl is a gift that must be prepared for. The transmission is a gift from above. There is no way to anticipate the thunder, but you can become a very good conduit for it. The root is the only way. Aetherous Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) Anybody heard or used Egyptian healing rods in combination with Kunlun. Â Max has recommended it on the forum and many people do it. I haven't tried it...simply because they're so expensive for what they are (typically 200 bucks). Â However, if you have 500 bucks you are willing to get rid of, these look so pimp : Â Edited August 31, 2009 by Scotty

Biff Posted September 1, 2009 'Rods of Ra' sounds like an underground gay club. Not that I have anything against smokers. There could well be something to these well marketed, incredibly overpriced, cheap to make pieces of metal full of very cheap bits of crystal etc. They say you should not attempt to make your own at a fraction (well less then that) of the price because they will not work unless the have been made 'the right way' Â Anyway... my opinion is that they are nothing more then a 'tool' that focuses intent. Just like Reiki symbols... they are not needed at all. Save your money and get one of these... Â

~jK~ Posted September 2, 2009 (edited) The kunlun forum. There is a couple of writers, in Hong Kong, Writing movies: Lee Man-Choi and Tsui Hark, about the KunLun Mountains. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Zu  They are extremely informative on Taoism from a Chinese perspective.  The information on Taoist practices is not too obvious but the information is there if you keep your eyes & ears open.  I've seen this movie about 200 times and still get information from it. (I bought the DVD long ago )  Zhang Ziyi from Crouching Dragon, Hidden Tiger, - Hero and more - plays a minor role in this movie.  The Legend of Zu, being on the very rare subject of Taoist astral Projection perspectives, is one of their best:  One small hint- Insomnia, the villan in this movie, is the enemy of all that seek enlightenment as it destroys the ability to meditate and is the single most enemy of the clear mind we need to see reality...  The rest is up to you.  With the information you can take from this movie, you will be crossing the threshold into the depths of the Tao that very few foreigners get to experience...  The Legend of Zu part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRoyP7aI2Lk...feature=related The Legend of Zu part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJkLO3vyk1o The Legend of Zu part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dH66HsIA9WM...feature=related The Legend of Zu part 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVp5FfG1Fq0...feature=related The Legend of Zu part 5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnGt5miXVus...feature=related The Legend of Zu part 6 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi-lymY9ZJU&NR=1 The Legend of Zu part 7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvSqRAsx95U...feature=related The Legend of Zu part 8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytzySmtZXLk&NR=1 The Legend of Zu part 9 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCOEBxCuEa0...feature=related The Legend of Zu part 10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2PcPGqOKOs...feature=related The Legend of Zu part 11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wL91Rj6E9g&NR=1 Edited September 6, 2009 by ~jK~
