Twitter down, work of Russian "hackers" targeting a Georgian blogger

FWIW, according to the NOS (Dutch broadcasting foundation) the downtime of twitter was caused by Russian "hackers" (i'll put it in brackets because i don't know if they are 'sponsored/paid' hackers or acting on their own ) targeting a Georgian blogger (user name: Cyxymu).

 

In case anyone was wondering too where the attack came from (allegedly)
