rain Posted August 13, 2009 thank you for the info, when I get the money for backpacking equipment now I know which boots to buy. Â I used to own a pair, no real support. maybe there are different sorts? husband made the mistake of wearing his, first time he went hunting in the mountains.. unless you want to slide & crawl back to camp I suggest you buy some decent mountain hikinging boots. or stay on the plain. Thunder_Gooch Posted August 14, 2009 I am very frugal and I love buying for life warranties on things To bad they don't make these in my size, 14W. :C
Mal Posted August 15, 2009 Can you give any examples of other good lifetime warranties? Â I have a Zippo lighter. They replace the insides of their lighters for the cost of postage, no questions asked. Very good. They don't warranty the hinges or outside case but so far I've been lucky there. Mal Posted August 16, 2009 I'd send some to you if you needed. Maybe you should be an Auzzie doc dealer thanks I've got a few people who could have posted them to me. It's the challenge that was exciting  Dr Marten's must have figured out that the company won't be around for much longer. That was my 2nd though after I read about the guarantee. The 1st was so $35US covers how much these shoes actually cost
