turbo Posted November 10, 2005 All, I found this site, which talks about prayer wheels, then goes on to say that if you save the image with on your hard drive, you can turn it into a prayer wheel. http://www.dharma-haven.org/tibetan/digital-wheels.htm Clever idea, and it may work (hey the Dhali Lama says it does), I suppose that it depends on your intent, as with everything else. However, the author ignores the fact that the data in a file is frequently stored in small, diconnected pieces all over the hard drive, which is analagous to scattering pieces of the prayer wheel all over the Earth and calling it a big prayer wheel. Smaller files are less likely to be scattered though, and the filename should remain complete, so there is a good chace that you may in fact get the benefit of a prayer wheel in your house err computer err harddrive. Especially good if you put the filename om-mani-padma-hum in every directory on your computer (oh the tedieum) Enjoy, Turbo
