Owledge Posted September 6, 2009 Found it years ago and really like it! Requires an open mind about what's possible. Of course this would only work when the people partaking are ready for it, but, well, there are already people voicing their demand for political concepts that stop work being mandatory. (like a basic unconditional income for everybody) To say it metaphorically, at some point you realize that most of the energy that people employ in their lives is just lost through friction that generates heat. Inedible Posted September 9, 2009 http://www.basicincome.org/bien/ Â The idea of basic income seems to be to ensure that everyone has at least enough money to buy basic necessities.
Owledge Posted September 9, 2009 And another website. Very interesting how you find this idea everywhere. Many of the smaller political parties here in Germany have it in mind. Of course there's massive resistance to such an idea, because the 'game' would no longer be fun for the elitists. Not having to worry about basic life necessities defeats the purpose of the current system.
Inedible Posted September 9, 2009 People can still try to claw their way into having billions of Euros if they want. They may even be able to do it more easily if everyone has money.
Owledge Posted September 9, 2009 (edited) I know. And what rich elitists don't like is that there are too many of them. Or too many people in general. Furthermore, if someone worked hard to get to the top (in a cruel system) and is proud of the achievement, of course that person would become jealous when others make it effortlessly. It's basically agents of fear (low vibe) trying to keep others from becoming agents of love (high vibe). Thesis: People who affirm the current system of fear do this out of fear, and people who reject it do it out of love. Even if sometimes it doesn't look that way at a first glance. Inedible Posted September 9, 2009 So many medical conditions are caused or made worse by stress. Ensuring that everyone had enough resources to get by would go a long way to removing the fear of not having enough. Unfortunately the thing about desire seems to be that there is no such thing as enough.
