On her latest album, ''La Marea," most of her songs deal with the image of water and the notion that we are nothing compared to nature's gravity. ''I'm just a grain of sand/ On the dunes next to the sea/ Or in the clock inside the glass," she sings in Spanish on the opening track, ''Grano de Arena" (''Grain of Sand").
