Brian Posted July 2, 2012 (edited) Not especially "cool" but I took it yesterday... Taken from the top of Pinnacle of the Blue Ridge, Mt Mitchell & the Black Mountain range in the background, blurry dot is a red-tailed hawk. I had to go back up yesterday to get my hat (hiked up Friday with a flatlander friend and when we sat down at the top, the wind blew my hat off (about two seconds after thinking, "I should put my strap on...") I thought "Well, I'll grab it in a minute." Two hours later, as we were climbing back into my Jeep, I said "Dang!" I did about 90-minutes of Gift of Tao while I was up there the second time... Stosh Posted July 3, 2012 Mine is just from Google--the only one I've posted so far anyway. It's an Orthodox monastery in Greece. Here's another random one from the net... The idea of living up on that block of rock is interesting. I see folks living out in the middle of nowhere off some highway in the woods, It seems appealing but at the same time , Thats a long drive anywhere! I was curious about the sources of the pics because I take some ,and quite a few of the ones yall showed just blow my attempts out of the water (but not all:)) and authorship is more interesting than stuff grabbed off the web from anonymous folks.
