He wasn't having that so he took off, left the station, the area and his people and travelled to a remote part of their land that had become abandoned and lived there by himself. His people often saw traces of him, when they went to that area. Eventually, when their conditions got a little better, (in the 70s ) they went out to look for him. They identified his tracks and traces, he had been also hunting and eating camels , as they found their remains.
