neimad Posted December 14, 2005 (edited) hi there, Â am back in sydney now after about 2 months of traipsing around northern new south whales. i had planned to go for a lot longer but several things came up that caused me to decide to come back home. i am happy and not regretful at all about the decision to cut my trip shorter than i had planned. Â i didn't get a chance to learn what i most wanted to learn about, gardening, but i did learn a lot more about myself and my priorities in life. Â i have had some interesting experiences arise from my spiritual work and my meditations. no experiences actually while meditating, but ones that occur just during the general day. Â overall i have noticed my sensitivity to the environment increase and on several occassions have become aware of energy beings (or 'ghosts') in the surrounding areas. very interesting. Â Â i recently bought myself an aneros (yet to try it out... probably today, not that you want to know about it haha). my friend also got one at the same time but has since receiving it decided that no way is he putting that thing in his bum! me.... i'm game. him... he's just a squemish pansy hahaha. so anyone want to buy an unused, still in the package mgx aneros? we can work something out.... sean Posted December 16, 2005 the first is body flow.... i would really like to get into the body flow more, but i only have the book and its pretty hard to follow from the pictures. i was wondering if anyone out there has the dvd that could possibly burn me a copy? i would gladly exchange it for something, but i don't have much in the way of interest in dvd's.... but i do have some very good documentaries by david attenborough which are fantastic.i would buy the body flow dvd but i am kinda strapped for cash and am saving up to hopefully get the intu-flow stuff sometime..... but i still have other priorities in mind. am thinking about going to france soon.... so there is that also. 9879 Welcome back neimad! Â Hey man, I hate to be a pisser out of the gate, but I need to talk to you about something serious here. That's what it's all about! So post in there and anyone with a Body Flow DVD will be more than happy to lend to you I'm sure. And if you don't mind tapes, I have a set I can send to you, just PM me. thelerner Posted December 16, 2005 One of best sources of body flow is simply dance. Gabriel Roth has a series of 'sweat your prayers' videos. They're well worth checking out, very simple just a few 10 minute free form dances to a particular rythmatic theme.  Glad to see you back and posting  Michael
neimad Posted December 16, 2005 (edited) im real sorry about that. Â i have been purchasing a lot of scotts stuff, and im broke for christmas. i have the body flow book but i find doing exercises with scott on the screen a lot easier than reading it out of a book. Â ive been saving up for the intu-flow/extension package, but its pretty damn expensive with shipping to australia. im also trying to save up to go to france. Â i just didn't think about what i was writing.... kind of tired from travelling so much. Â sorry again. Edited December 16, 2005 by neimad
sonnon Posted December 16, 2005 (edited) Neimad, Â Please do think about the impact of your actions. Copying is prosecutable theft in Australia as well where I've had the misfortunate of having to do so. Â Moreover, you don't realize that companies need to take legal action or they lose the rights to their own intellectual property. (Pilates is now public domain because the man himself didn't contest small infringements until a major one came. When he tried to pursue it, the courts ruled his system and his very name as a "household entity.") Moreover, if one person does it, it opens a sluice gate of mob copying and distributing. You have no idea how much impact one person's actions can take on the internet world. Just one person. Â Listen, I understand financial strain. I came from a welfare family living off food stamps once the steel industry left Pennyslvania in the early 80s. I had to work my own way through University and invested every penny in traveling, studying and training around the world. I had to do it on my own with no help from anyone. No one believed in me. I want to help others so that they don't have to go through years of that angst. Â I have a heart. I patron artists, donate thousands to charities, organize very successful fund raisers for One.org, Unicef and the American Red Cross (even came out of retirement last week to fight at the international San Shou championships because all of the proceeds were going to Katrina relief.) But I must make an honest living myself in order to do this. Money is just another form of energy. What you DO with that energy is what matters in the world. It doesn't matter what you make, but what you leave. Â Listen, save your money, and when you purchase Intu-Flow, I shall include a complementary copy of Body-Flow Biomechanical Exercise in your order. Just email me through my forum when you're about to order and I'll let the distribution center know to include it for you. Just don't make copies. You don't want to end up in jail because you were too ignorant to just approach the source with sincerity. Â Happy Holidays! karen Posted December 16, 2005 Michael, Â Thanks for reminding me about Gabrielle Roth. I took a workshop with her many moons ago, and she was fabulous. Now I see she has a series of DVDs called the Ecstatic Dance collection, including one called the Inner Wave which looks to be a little less physically active, more internal. Am thinking of checking this out. Â Karen

thelerner Posted December 17, 2005 Whoa, talk about the big fish, a message on our humble board from Mr. Sonnon himself. Great. I hope he knows that Sean is a big (er medium sized) admirer. Â My Intu Flow arrived a few days ago. I really like it. Many of the mini club practices are right out of sword practice. Â Michael

Sean 9929   there is some new dancing thing here at the yoga centre i used to visit. i forget the name of it.... ummmmmm..... nup, can't get it. anyways i went to one class, and it was really fun.  there is nothing more freeing of your inhibitions than dancing like a madman in front of a bunch of strangers in a room... or even better in front of people you know. if you can let go of yourself enough to just move, then you can release from yourself all those silly ego things like self-image and stuff.  i also did an osho type class with someone that involved 15 minutes of shaking, 15 minutes of dancing, 15 minutes of sitting meditation, and 15 minutes of lying down resting. really good stuff.
